Every class is a lecture + group work that must be submitted for a grade. At the end of class he discusses the answers. At the end of the semester there is a 4,000 word group report + presentation, plus a final. My biggest con is that I don't know what grade I will end up getting, all the big assignments are due the last 3 weeks of the semester.
Professor Daniel is very caring for his students. His lectures are very good. everything is due the last week of class. If you follow the final study guide, you should pass with no problem. There are class exercises, you only need 7/13 to get 100 on those, there is the group project and the final exam which is honorlock.
Good Professor, about a homework a week shared with your group. Test are not very hard just need to know the material.
Provide study guide for midterm and final but it is not clear and not helpful, very confusing class. Tests take 50% of the overall grade. No practice questions for tests, the only way you will see and read the questions is on the test day. Test are scenario questions! I would not recommend this professor
The worst professor ever taken in my life. All your assignments are worthless. The test takes 50% of your grade and 25% of the group project. His exam study tips are useless. Is telling you to read the whole power points. His tests are hard and lectures are long Is a waste of time taking this class. Not recommended. Take another better professor.
W professor , one of the easiest classes I've taken at fiu tbh, weekly class exercises 2 exams and one group research paper that was easy
I'd recommend this professor if you want lectures that get straight to the point. Yes he has tests that are worth 50% of your grade but they weren't as hard as some of these reviews make it out to be. I used flashcards to study and I passed both tests just easily. His weekly assignments are also easy and very interesting sometimes.
Interesting lectures. Tests and assignments were reasonable.
He was a great professor for the course material. He's extremely knowledgeable and he does a good job at explaining what should be on the midterm and final.
Professor Prud'homme is a truly incredible and outstanding professor. He took the time to understand my goals and challenges, offering thoughtful advice and a personalized letter of recommendation that was immensely helpful. I'm deeply grateful for his guidance and highly recommend them to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and supportive professor.
Course was MAN6726 - Professor Dan is great and very knowledgeable. Enjoyed taking this course! Learned about new strategic frameworks and its applications.
Very knowledgeable professor. This class is for MAN6726 in the MBA program. Easy lectures and case studies.
As long as you show up and put some effort in the class isn't difficult. He included the case studies with the course and didn't require a textbook which was great.
Professor Dan is one of the best teachers you will have. He is an expert in the subject and has extensive international experience. His lectures are fascinating and filled with profound knowledge. Do not miss any of his classes; they are worth every minute.
Professor Prud'home is a down-to-earth instructor who prioritizes understanding over testing. He avoids monotonous teaching methods, emphasizing group assignments and real-world applications. His engaging, practical approach, combined with his personable and competent nature, creates a supportive learning environment. Highly recommend his classes.
This professor was great! Classes were lecture/discussion/case and the pop quizzes weren't difficult at all. You can tell he's very good at what he teaches.
Professor Prud'homme made class very interesting and interactive. He was also very flexible and accommodating as long as you were able to put in the effort. Great professor!
Took this course as a part of my MBA. Great Professor and great lectures. He really knows what he is talking about and tried his best to keep the class engaged.
Overall, great professor and great class. 12 easy assignments along with a midterm and a final. the only complaint would be not being able to see your grade during the semester but you can just do the math.
Professor Dan is hands-down one of the best professors I've had this semester. He's incredibly knowledgeable, organized, and genuinely cares about his students' success. His lectures are clear and engaging, and he does a great job of connecting real-world business strategy with class concepts in a way that's easy to understand and apply.I would def
This professor was cool, and I would take again.
Daniel is very and inspiring professor who is prepare for every single class. I like this class because it was always nice to hear and discuss news in the world and connecting real life situation into class related topics. Interesting class, I suggest to young generations to take this professor.
The class is okay, I took it online which is why the percentages changed to 30% for the midterm and 30% for the final, the rest are written assignments that are easy if you follow the content on his powerpoints. Make sure to review his powerpoints for the exams since they are scenario based and you need to know the concepts.
If you want to learn using real life cases that make you think, this is your class.
He is super considerate of his students. Any time i emailed about something I wasn't super sure about he answered really quickly. The syllabus was very simple and clear. Few assignments and the class easy to handle.
Take this Professor! Honestly the lectures are interesting and he makes them entertaining. We had class discussions, one assignment per class, one group project and 2 tests (midterm and final). The assignments are easy and doable as he gives you time in class to complete them with your group. Easy A :)
Amazing professor! Lectures and case studies every class making it very easy to understand the connection of concepts and the real world. Midterm and final exams in person but study guide provided.
I took MAN4720 with Professor Dan and genuinely looked forward to his lectures. He's brilliant, patient, and makes complex topics easy to understand. Attendance isn't mandatory but highly encouraged. Tests are challenging but he prepares you well. He's approachable and never makes you feel dumb for asking questions. I'd take his class again!
The course is made up of mostly discussion posts and two exams, midterm and final. Very straightforward on expectations
Simple and straightforward class and professor. One assignment due each week based on the weekly lecture. Midterm and final both on Honorlock. Highly recommend.
Professor was honestly great. Interacts with students a lot and is very caring. Not a tough grader nor does he try to make things hard at all. Super chill and easy class, Definitely recommend!
Great professor, made classes engaging as well as being very helpful.
He's a good professor, funny, and has a very good strategy for teaching. If you are considering taking this class, take it with him if you can!!
I would recommend this professor for MAN4720. The work is very straightforward and he provides insightful submission comments. I did not find the workload to be stressful at all. There is a midterm and final exam, which is Honorlock. For those exams, he does provide exam study tips which I found very helpful! I learned a lot from this course!
Professor Pud'homme is welcoming and excited to give his lectures. Every topic he covers is universal and relevant. Show up to class for insight and help on assignments.
Professor is very excited to lecture. Every topic is universal to any field you consider. Participate and show u to class as you will make the most of it.
I really enjoyed this class and would definitely take this professor again. He explained the material clearly, made the lessons interesting, and was always willing to help if anyone had questions. He created a positive learning environment and really cared about students doing well. Great professor overall!
He's a really good professor, he's content is well-explained and offers reviews for his exams. He also creates an engaging environment by interacting with the students.
Dr. Prud'homme clearly outlines the course requirements in the syllabus. You will complete weekly case studies, and he will provide feedback when needed. The course is heavily focused on exams, which is a significant portion of your grade. He is an excellent professor, although the emphasis on testing can be quite intense regarding overall grade.
This professor made MAN4720 a delight. He has weekly class excerises, which you only need to complete 7 out of the 12 to get full credit, and one midterm and final. As long as you study and pay attention to the lectures, you should be fine. He is very respectful and truly cares about the student's success.
Great professor and great class. You will do well as long as you go to class.
Great professor. Provides feedback and quick replies.
Amazing profesor, would take again!
One of my favorite classes and professors! Would take again.
Great professor. You can tell he really cares about his students understanding the material and he loves to hear from his students; it's not just a boring presentation where he's talking the whole time. You really just have to come to class and study for the midterm and exam.
Light workload—usually one assignment per week. I studied his video lectures and got an A on the 1st exam. Exams aren't open notes, so be sure to review well. He's also easy to reach through Canvas or email. Overall, I'd recommend taking him!
Great professor—clear, supportive, and truly cares about students. One of the best!
His teaching style is clear, well-structured, and highly effective. Lectures were dynamic and easy to understand.
Took this as an online class, was very easy. I recommend!
Awesome professor! Gives a lot of tools to pass the exam and the class. Would definitely take again!
Good professor, highly reccomend!
Great professor, highly recommended.
Pretty good class. Would take again
The professor is pretty good, and you will get an A if you do the assignments. Also, if you have a question about what to do in an assignment, he will get back to you as soon as possible.
Professor Daniel Prud'homme was professional and deeply explained each module with chapter lectures. When feedback was given, he was detailed and ensured that everything was understood. He is reasonably flexible within reason. I would take his class again in a heartbeat!
This class is very insightful and interesting when you get to listen to lectures and read case studies. He does grade case study questions a bit harshly, so make sure it is lengthy and in-depth. The most difficult aspect of this class is that grades are not revealed to you throughout the semester to track your GPA.
Professor Prud'homme was professional, knowledgeable, and explained the material in detail. He was flexible with assignments and answered all questions thoroughly. Class discussions were engaging and encouraged critical thinking. If you keep up with the work, an A is very achievable. Would definitely take him again!
The professor takes great pride in his teaching, consistently delivering the material with clarity and passion that makes complex concepts easy to understand. His end-of-class discussions are especially valuable, offering insightful perspectives and encouraging meaningful engagement with the content.
All around great professor, knowledgeable and does not overload homework. Great all-around professor.
Professor Prud'homme is really good. He really takes the time to make sure you're understanding the material and will help you. He grades pretty quickly and actually gives feedback on assignments. Fair grader. Didn't need a textbook. Watch the lectures. He gives a study guide for the topics covered on the exam. Would definitely take him again.
He is good
Take him!!! Professor Dan is great.
This professor is very nice. He uses high quality material and real world cases, which help you stay updated while learning how to analyze and apply his lectures. He gives you feedback and responds to emails, which I've found to be rare among teachers lately. I recommend this professor 100%!
Professor Prud'homme is an engaging and knowledgeable instructor who made the MAN 4720 course both insightful and practical. His real-world examples helped bring the material to life, and his feedback was always constructive and encouraging. He cares about his students' learning and success, which made the class a positive and enriching experience.
Great Professor, with amazing and interesting lecture. would love to take him again.
Good professor, he's making the course interesting and making student interact a lot
The teacher is very friendly and he teaches class in an efficient and clear matter. The case studies that we analyze each class really helps us understand more the class material. I really recommend this teacher, very engaging and estimulates us to engage in critical thinking.
This professor was very knowledgable in strategic management. There is 2 tests in this class, they're very straightforward and easy if you study. The classes are interesting, engaging, and clear. Highly recommend.
As long as you attend class you will get an A
Great professor, exams are challenging, but he goes over all the material thoroughly, and provides a study guide, if you study you get a good grade.
The classes were interesting. There were two main in class exams, kinds of difficult to prepare.
A few assignments throughout the semester and 2 fairly doable proctored exams on Honorlock.
He is great. Mid term and a final. 1 group discussion assignment per week grader very easily. He encourages attendance for discussion and test prep. Class was a very minimal workload and the material was easy to comprehend.
He is very thorough with eaxch subject during lecture & expects expository responses to each question.
Great teacher, easy class, just do your homework and study for your midterm and final.
Professor Prud'homme is really understanding. As a student who was working full time, it was very appreciated that attendance was not mandatory. We had a group project that he then made voluntary due to the good participation of the class. The grade is mostly based on the weekly class case studies and the two exams, no quizzes.
The class was well structured, 2 exams, 12 assignments and you have to only complete 7 to get 100% on all assignments. The professor provides feedback to every class assignment so we can understand what we're doing wrong and why.
He's a nice professor who wants you to succeed. Lectures are informative. Just do the work and you will be just fine.
He explains really well! Easy to stay engaged.
He clearly knew a lot about the subject and was able to explain everything in a way that made it easy to understand. The class was well-organized, and I always felt like I knew what was expected of me. The material was interesting, and even though the class wasn't too difficult, I still learned a lot.
Really Nice professor, doesn't have mandatory attendance, but it is really worth going to class as he explains the chapter and the assignment that's due that weekend. Exams are online but have to be done in person in class. The only thing that I didn't like was that the class was at 6:30pm until almost 9pm.
Professor was very knowledgeable and likes to interact with students, attendance is not mandatory but is very beneficial as the assignment was done in class and you wouldn't have to upload it further on in the week. Exams are in class but are done on the computer. Professor is really nice with the students.
Really enjoyed this class. The workload was super manageable, and the way the assignments were set up made it easy to stay on track without feeling overwhelmed. You only have to complete 7 out of 12 assignments for full credit, which gives you some flexibility.
The class was easily manageable, 12 discussions, only 7 of which you had to do and 2 exams.
The class was manageable, 12 discussions, only 7 of which you had to do and 2 exams in person using lockdown a bit hard but if you put time to revise is easy.
The professor is very professional. Weekly homework assignments help reinforce the material. Attendance is not mandatory but definitely helpful, as the lectures are very interactive. The course is concept-based
He was a great professor overall, I highly recommend you take him.
Professor Daniel Prud'homme is a great professor that takes pride into his work. His lectures are a little long but informative and relate to the case study assignments. Highly recommend.
Amazing prof, all the reviews are true. I've never had a more caring and understand prof at FIU, 10/10 take him if you have the chance!
Great professor and very caring! Would definitely recommend
The course was good. You can get an A if you focus on details and are thorough in the Class Exercise assignments.
The class was good, the professor was good as well. Make sure you do not take the exam last minute as the written portions may be around 250 words, takes a bit of time.
Professor communicated through out the semester and was there to help his students if we had any questions. Amazing professor
This class was very simple and to the point, the assignments are not complicated and all based on real life companies. I really enjoyed how the class was set up and the professor was very nice and replies to all assignments. I would take this class and professor again.
Great Professor!
I took him for MAN 4720 my last semester. Super easy class, grades very good. 100% recommend.
Great professor, I recommend taking him. If you study and do your work you will be fine.
The lectures were interesting and well-structured, and the assignment. I enjoyed taking this class and felt like I learned a lot.The assignments were thoughtfully designed to reinforce what we learned in class, tey pushed me to think critically and apply the material in meaningful ways. The professor was very approachable and open to questions,
Professor Prud'homme is an outstanding instructor who explains strategic management clearly and uses great real-world examples. His classes are engaging, well-organized, and truly help you understand the material. He cares about students' success and makes the course enjoyable. Highly recommend!
Great professor, very reasonable and has a good grading system. As long as you watch the lectures and do the class excercises you will do great in this class
Two proctored exams, no open book or notes
Students will take two proctored exams without the aid of notes. Chapter summaries are provided by the instructor as study material.
This class was a breeze, very flexible and understanding when it comes to homework. Two exams, one midterm and one final which are both on Honorlock and around 30 questions each. Case studies that are part of the homework are usually interesting and light reads. Very easy class as long as you just do what you're intended to.
i took this class online. one midterm and one final exam on honorlock, case reading assignment for each week, but you dont need to finish all of them. professor would provide video lectures and powerpoints for each chapter. overall he is a great professor
Great proferssor. Highly recommend!
This class has two Honorlock tests that weigh heavily on your grade, but if you study for them, you should get a good grade. Other than that, we have class assignments every week, but he only counts 7 of them, so if you did badly on one or a few of them, it'll be exempt. The professor was good and easy to communicate with.
Dr. Prud'homme's class is well-structured and manageable, but you do need to keep up with readings and group work. He explains things clearly and is always open to questions, but sometimes grading can feel a bit strict. Overall, a good professor who teaches valuable content.
My professor's lectures and modules are clear and easy to follow, but it's important to stay on top of the readings and complete the assignments in a timely manner to get the most out of the course. They create a positive and supportive learning environment. Would recommend to other students.
The class is well organized, and the work is doable. 2 proctored exams, and 13 assignments in total. Only 7/13 count towards your final grade. The professor is easy to approach and provides good tips to do well in the class.
Pretty easy class just get ready to study for the exams that's it
I took him for fall 25'. His class is straight to the point, 13 weekly assignments (although you only really have to do 7), and 2 exams but if you look in the syllabus he tells you what exactly to study for from the modules. Overall pretty chill
I don't have enough words to describe Professor Dan, simply one of the best professors I have come across in my time at FIU. Clear grading criteria and expectations from the first day (make sure to read the syllabus to understand this), open to communication, provides feedback, and has an admirable grasp of the content he's teaching. Take him!
Great professor! Very organized, clear explanations, and genuinely wants students to succeed.
Great Professor! Would definitely take again. It was a very clear and informative class. Perfect balance of workload, not too much but just right to be successful in the class.
The class is well paced, would take again! The lectures and powerpoints are helpful for the exams.
Professor Dan was one of my favorite professors in the PMBA course at FIU. I really liked his style of teaching and his approach as a professor. I actually felt like when the pressure was off to do super well in class, I did better because I was not as fearful. I would love to take a second installment of this class!
Love him!!!!
He created an engaging atmosphere to make class interesting. He would start class 10-15 minutes after the scheduled start time in consideration for students running late for class. He has a few pop quizzes that are easy to pass if you paid attention in class. There is a lot of class participation involved as well. He's a great professor.
This class is about truly learning and understanding what the drawing board in a professional setting looks like. Beyond the cases, he wants us to know how companies develop their strategies and conduct a holistic review of the company's strengths and weaknesses. He asks engaging questions and the cases he has selected will open your mind.
Very good professor! Super knowledgeable and easy to pass if you show up to class!
Professor Prud'homme is straight to the point and honest. He is approachable and willing to listen to opnions and suggestions about assignments or just general information about the material. He is not difficult at all but he does expect full effort. He is fair and down to earth.
Prof. Dan is a great professor. He truly cares about teaching strategy and make his students think, rather than just pursue a grade. I highly recommend taking his classes if the opportunity arises.
He's a good professor, there are a lot of papers but nothing too difficult, and I've learned a lot in the course.
This professor is very good, cares about his students and gives good feedback. The class structure is relatively easy to understand, each lecture includes a powerpoint, video transcripts, and an assignment.
The professor provided clear instructions since the first day on the syllabus, all the assigned work was also established in the canvas calendar. The professor also checked in via email throughout the semester which allowed students to privately make inquiries. You will have to ready many different cases in this class, however it is not too much.
This professor is awesome. I have learned so much and I love the way that he explains things. The assignments are not too much and are perfect for understanding and learning.
Great professor, has clear instructions and follows syllabus. He leaves feedback on assignments and the structure of the course is easy to follow. Highly recommend!
This class was very easy as you only had to compete 7 case studies along with a midterm and final. I would recommend taking his class as you can work ahead and not have to worry about the course and focus on harder classes. He also provides good feedback so you can improve on the next assignment.
I truly enjoyed Professor Dan's class. His lectures were interesting and engaging. Overall, the assignments were not too difficult. There is one case study due per week and then I believe two group projects. This class was a great way to end my MBA. Thank you Professor Dan!
AMAZING CLASS!!
Really loved this class! My favorite aspect of his teaching style is that he'll always bring a case into the discussion and apply what he's teaching to real-life examples.
Professor Dan's class is extremely engaging. His teaching style encourages participation, fosters critical thinking, and makes each class feel meaningful.
Professor Dan gives good insights to strategic management and business organizations. He provides interesting case studies during the lectures that you review amongst a group to then have an in-class discussion about it. There is a big report that he breaks down into 2 parts that is also done in a group of your choosing as a class project.
I really enjoyed this class. The use of real-life cases made the material practical and engaging, and I believe it should always remain part of the course. You can learn so much more from real situations than from theory alone.
Great professor! Explains concepts clearly, is very organized, and really cares about students' success. Assignments were fair and the class felt manageable. Would definitely take them again.
He's Valid
Good Professor and a thoughtfully structured course. I would highly recommend to other students.
the professor deserver 5 stars
Prof Dan is a great teacher. Not only does he care, he is well knowledgeable. 9/10 recommend.
Prof Dan is very nice and will provide lenient and constructive feedback on your assignments. 13 writing assignments only 7 of which were mandatory and a midterm and final. You want an A in this course this is the best professor.
Honestly an incredible Professor. He's very knowledgeable and passionate about what he teaches. I enjoyed his class tremendously. Great way to finish off the term. Thank you Professor!
Very knowledgeable and eloquent. He did a great job at walking us through the course and ties one topic to the next and makes them relevant to today. Some of the cases we used in class, he wrote himself and I thought that's really cool. There will be pop quizzes but they are not super hard just about the main concepts he wants you to understand.
Great professor! Very knowledgeable on the subject and easily approachable. Class is pretty straightforward and discussion based. Be ready for a handful of pop quizzes, but as long as you pay attention during the lecture you'll be good. Really enjoyed the case studies and being able to apply the concepts to real life.
Very good professor. He incentivized participation and discussions
Great Professor that is very passionate for the course material. The class is well structured and ties in many of the concepts previously covered in other courses. Assignments were fair and manageable.
Prof. Prud'homme's class was up there with the most engaging classes of the program. His case studies were relevant and while these cases were discussed in class, my comments felt more than welcomed. I think I left this class with a deeper understanding to what strategic management is and I will start to implement some concepts I learned. 10/10.
I loved his class. He really cares about his students.
Very rude and treated me unfairly/exposed me to the whole class.
Professor Prud'homme is knowledgeable and clearly experienced in his field. He explains concepts in a structured, logical way and connects theory to real-world applications, which helps the material feel relevant rather than abstract. Lectures are organized, and expectations for assignments and exams are communicated clearly.
You will get so much more out of the class if you ask questions and participate. He has a ton of unique experiences, as him to bring back his lessons to his own experiences. He's so open to sharing and his stories are interesting.
Well spoken and very professional.
