Super nice, Down to earth guy. All homework is in math xl, and is always available if you need help. Ive always been horrible in math but I did pretty well in his class, but don't fall behind on the homework or else itll be impossible to catch up.

Tests are on the material covered in class as well as homework and quizzes; provides the opportunity to receive partial credit if work is shown. Recommended to all!

Funny & charismatic but goes through material quickly, taking for granted that you've already got a basic knowledge of the subject matter. If you haven't taken a math class in a long time (in my case about 10 years since I attended school) then you will feel lost and overwhelmed at times.

This instructor was terrific, he's very funny and majorly helpful! As far as homework goes he shows the way Wiley does it and he shows easy methods of getting things right with the TI-84. I would definitely take Mr. Richardson again!

Professor Richardson is a very nice teacher. All homework and quizzes are turned in on MathWay. Make sure you look at the due dates and times. He explains the material very well. All around great teacher with a different sense of humor.

Professor Richardson was a great instructor. If you did not understand the material he would work hard with you until you got it. He would spent time going over the material during class time and office hours to help his students excel in statistics. Great personality that keeps the class interested and would definitely take again.

Daniel Richardson is a great professor. He teaches well and will help you with anything. has a good sense of humor and will give lots of extra credit. You have to do all the homework, and really keep up with the math. The math lab has helped me a lot. The hard book is not necessary you can get away with the online one it is cheaper.

Professor Richardson is a passionate instructor who is very knowledgeable about statistics. I enjoy math, but many students do not, and Professor Richardson goes out of his way to make the content understandable and often times, applicable to real life. If you are tuned in during class time, and go over the notes before tests, you'll do fine!

I'm not very good at math but Mr. Richardson does a great job at explaining and helping students to understand. He stays a little after class if you have any questions and he fit in time for students to contact him while doing homework. He is a great professor and he is totally understanding.

Richardson is one of the best math professors I have ever had. I have struggled in Math my entire academic life and he was able to make difficult concepts clear and did not kill us with Homework. His teaching style will not put you to sleep, I always left this class with a smile. MONEY WELL SPENT - TAKE HIS CLASS!

Mr Richardson is a amazing math teacher. I am by no means a stupid person but math is definitely my weakest and most hated subject, but he makes it fun. The classes are full of fun stories that deal with what we are doing. He will keep you engaged and wanting to come back to class. I have never had a math teacher like him.

Great teacher ! Really knows the material and will take the time to explain things if you put the effort in. Your grade will depend on your effort that you put towards the class. I took this as summer and it was fast paced. Plan to do the work for the grade you want but also plan to learn a lot from this awesome teacher!

Loved this class. Applies everything we do to real world situations, which makes the math easier to understand. He also does everything he can to make sure everyone passes with very straightforward tests and plenty of opportunities to bring your grade up.

He is caring, and very easy to get a hold of outside of class. He goes fast, so don't skip class. To pass this course pay attention, print out slides to take notes on, do all extra credit, participate, do HW on time, get help from ASC lab or from him (really important), and do all the worksheets/study guides he gives (they're accurate of the test)

He's always willing to help and work with you, fast responses when emailed, and always available to talk to you after class or during office hours.

I've taken Professor Richardson now for a few math courses. He goes on tangents which most young students don't like, however, if you actually listen to them, they make sense and he's really doing it for their benefit. He has always been willing to go above and beyond to help and I will always be forever grateful he was my professor.

I enjoyed the class, the lectures went by smoothly & made the context easy to understand. Online assignments & quizzes are given weekly & the in-class tests are easy as long as you pay attention in class & study over the lecture notes. He gives mandatory extra credit projects at the end of the semester which helps boost final grades.

He is awesome. Makes you laugh and tells you stories to put a new perspective in what you do. Over all good guy and good teacher. Teaches you what you need to pass.

Great professor. Teaches straight from the power points and uses the Wiley plus material as well for examples. Homework is manageable as long as you stay on top of it. Fast teacher and goes over a lot of material in lecture so do not skip or you'll be super behind.

STA2023 is hard but Professor Richardson is amazing. He goes above and beyond to make sure students are interested and engaged with the class. He is accessible outside of class with virtual and regular office hours and returns messages very quickly. He also has extra credit projects and offers study guides for tests. Take this class in person!

Lots of homework that needs to be done when when he finishes a chapter but should help you understand material. Very helpful in his office hours. When classes switched to online b/c of covid-19, still very helpful.

Easily the best professor I have taken. His class is primarily structured around powerpoint lectures, but he finds a way to make the information interesting and applicable to real life. You will never leave his class feeling overwhelmed. He is really easy to reach outside of class, and has never taken longer than a few hours to respond to a message

I knew 100% upfront that this was going to be a compressed course with many requirements such as homework, quizzes and most importantly the lectures online. Professor Richardson does not sugar-coat that this course is what you make of it. Do the work, show interest and participate online and you"ll be successful. No book req"d- materials online.

He truly cares that you understand the material. He's available for questions online evenings, weekends, & holidays! When the classes moved online he still held every class live because he wants interaction. He's definitely not easy & you have to work, but he offers lots of extra credit, & he spends time explaining things. Great professor!

Professor Richardson is an amazing professor who does not shy away from tough questions. He is always available and extremely help when you come to him with questions, whether it be during office hours or on Piazza. This class is super well-organized but has a decent amount of work to keep up with, so I would recommend not procrastinating.

Overall, Mr. Richardson was a good professor. He was extremely willing to help and responded quickly. However, I wish he did not spend so much time talking about non math related things, because it took focus and time away from the course material. The tests are heavily weighted, so make sure you manage your time wisely.

I think Daniel Richardson is my favorite teacher I have ever had, and I have had quite of few! Yes, He doesn't let you slack off, he holds you to a high standard. I would recommend anyone who really wants to learn about statistics and aren't trying to get an easy A, he is your man. He makes it fun to learn and keeps you dialed all the way.

I took him for stats online and I believe that he is my favorite professor at IRSC. He is outstanding and deserves a raise lol. He is very wise and goes down to the students level of thought. You definitely have to take the time to watch the videos he gives you and do the hw and quizzes. He is so funny and has a great heart. Everyone take him!

Mr. Richardson was a fantastic teacher! This class was really hard for me, but he was there to encourage me to keep going! I learned a lot, and he gave an absolute TON of extra credit opportunities. I can't say I like statistics, but this professor made it really worth the effort :) He was super funny too. I loved his jokes and stories.

My experience with this professor has been nothing short of rigorous yet very very fair. He is extremely caring of his students and cares about the individual rather than just spewing information. Extremely accessible as he is just a click away, even on the weekends and breaks. Show up, do the homework and quizzes and it will be hard to fail.

I have never really enjoyed math, but Mr. Richardson made statistics one of my favorite classes I've ever taken. He is a wonderful, kindhearted teacher who genuinely wants all of his students to succeed. He makes difficult content palatable, and was one of few professors I've had that I felt respected and understood by. 100% recommend
