Simplified notes. Helped us review for tests. No final, which was good. He really helped me out when I had a question and also helped me out with a future course that I have to take. Good professor.

so much information and only ten point tests. nice guy but the class wasnt too interesting

Actively involves students in the learning process. Very helpful to students.

Sometimes expected more of us than what we were capable of. Very willing to offer extra help after class, and no final.

Difficult class for a non Science-minded student, but I learned a lot. Dr. Short was always very helpful and patient. Thanks!

No final was appreciated considering it was my first semester! Dr Short answered all questions given and responded to email in timely manner; provided assistance when solicited. Homework definitely challenging but not overwhelming. Would definitely select this instructor for future classes.

Professor Short answered questions in a very adaquate manner and was always available if I was having problems. This made it easier to grasp concepts. I believe that I would enjoy a class held by Professor Short at the campus. He was very helpful along the way. Prof. Short always answered my questions in a very quick and clear mannor. He would answer my questions with in a hour or two of me asking. This is by far quicker then any other teacher I've ever had. He was excellent.

Never met face to face so I did not rate the appearance :) Very responsive instructor. Would taken another class if offered. Very difficult class.

The coursework was quit challenging but Dr. Short did an excellent job in assisting me...no matter if it was by phone or e-mail. Thanks for putting extra time in when I was so confused! I did not like having no interaction and would have preferred to take the course in a normal classroom! I would definitly take another course with Dr. Short!

Fun Class. Difficult class that required a lot of research but it was enjoyable

When I initially signed up for this class I assumed it would be just another class I needed so I would just take it, pass and move on. But I have to admit that I am absolutely amazed at how much information I have learned about our environment and how important it is for everyone to help keep it clean. This was an important class - it was great.

I learned alot from this class. The work was difficult but on the whole worthwhile. I look forward to taking another class with Mr. Short.

Overall, I learned a lot of information in this course, and Dr. Short responded to my e-mails promptly.

Awesome prof, I loved this class. I wish all my classes were like this one.

If it had not been for Doc Short, I would have failed Chemistry. He was extremely helpful. An excellent Prof.

Great teacher. Really knows science in and out, even the topics he claimed he knew nothing about. The demos not only helped with teaching ideas but when you can actually see what is happening, its always helpful. A bit challenging but still a great teacher

Excellent course. I was challenged by some of the assignments, but I feel that I gained a lot of knowledge from it. Dr. Short is helpful and knows science quite well.

Unlike most online professors he made ot a point ot get back to you in a timely fasion. His knowlege of the information is terrific.

Assignments were difficult, however, were made the material more understandable. Professor always returned questions in a timely manner. Good course to take if you're interested in weather and climate

Good course. Filled with useful information. Some test questions are impossible but most are okay. Professor Short is very helpful and knows his stuff about the environment.

Is was easy to tell that his knowledge of the text and the content greatly exceeded what we were capable of doing online. This class would have been much better if we would have had the chance to meet with him and interact with him to really get the feel of the material

I had fun in this class. The online activities were the best part.

The coursework was interesting and Dr. Short was very fair in his grading. The topics were interesting, fun, and something you could at least apply to your everyday life.

Had it as an online course so never had any personal interaction with professor, but he seemed very willing to help his students to any degree.

Constructively Speaking, I would recommend logging on every day as the professor to see if there are issues or problems with anyone.

Class was elective and online. Science not being my strong point, I had lots of questions that were answered. Overall a good class with some points of interest. Would recommend.

Monotoned & quiet voice, but other than that great chem class! Provides note hand outs, and goes over the answers. Powerpoints online. Only 3 tests, which are fairly easy. Reviews a lot for tests. No final. Attendence not mandatory.

At first I was skeptical about his methods of instruction, but I surprisingly learned more than I ever thought I would. A good class and a great professor.

Awesome prof in general. I really don't see how anyone could fail his class. He spelled everything out for us in class, and dumbed down the textbook to layman's terms. You can get 2 extra bonus points on every single homework. The tests were hard, but the first one you could make up and the last one was a take home. To top it all off, he curves.

Easy going professor and an easy class. Concerned about student process. Drops lowest homework and test score.

He lectures every class, but he tries to make them interesting. He also understands that not everybody is a chemistry major, so he does not go heavily in detail about everything.

Online class that lasted 8 weeks. A couple of quick quizzes, few discussion boards, and an essay. This was probably the easiest A I've ever gotten

I took this class online, and it was honestly easy. I had a few gripes with the way the class was set up, but overall, it was an easy A+. Getting in contact with the teacher was hit or miss, but he did get back to me in a reasonable time. In this class, he has an area where you can get 10 extra credit points, which is nice. I would take again.

Every week, we had to "read" two chapters. There was a quiz on the two chapters that can be found on Quizlet every week and you had to summarize the chapters on the discussion board. Overall, just busywork and not too difficult, about three hours a week were required.

Class was pretty easy; it was discussion posts galore with a quiz for each chapter. As long as you do the work on time, and take it seriously, this is a great professor. Overall, nothing negative to say about proffesor.
