Interested in helping the students throughout the course, though doesn't always maintain class order. The majority of students that come through are highly disinterested in the course matter, but the professor's guidelines reward those that put forth the effort. Pretty good overall.

Dr. Turner was a fun professor and I learned a lot from the class. I recommend the class for students in the first semester who are not sure about their major.

Ok, so my expectation of this course was that it would be easy. It's not hard, but you have to work. There are so many assignments for this class that you feel like it will never end. But the assignments are made to help us. Like the resume, goals paper, career assignment, speaking in front of class. This guy cares, but you have to put the effort.

Very nice, understanding, and will do anything to help you out. I wish I didn't have a class that walked over him so much, but he's a lover not a fighter, and I must say I enjoyed learning with him.

Professor Turner is so far, the best professor I've had in my entire life. After 4 semesters in Valencia, I decided to take him just for an extra elective, and I don't regret it one bit. He's funny, clear, understanding, and extremely helpful! Take him, he is worth it!

This class is unfortunately mandatory for all students that are Freshmen or Transfers with less than 30 credits. While the class is redundant and mundane, Professor Turner really does make it less painful. The class requirements and assignments are not based on his own curriculum but on the school's. Be prepared for a lot of writing!

Dr. Turner is a really, really laid back guy. He makes it clear that he is there to help you with any advising help you need, and makes all the boring busy work somewhat enjoyable. All assignments are done online. He's a fine professor, it's just up to you to be responsible and turn in the assignments on time.

The hardest thing about this class is that it's so boring if you already know your career choice, however prof. chip was pretty laid back and caring. Gave good feedback and was always willing to help and give credit if you misread the instructions. I have nothing bad to say, would recommend this prof.

Chip is a great professor. I took the class online and I strongly recommend you do too, going to a lecture for this class would be a waste of your time. The course consists of weekly homework assignments which are really quick. Very lenient with late assignments, I was even able to hand in my "final exam" project late. Easy A+ and GPA booster.

One of the best professors I've had. Took him for NSE during my last semester because it was required (I just graduated, yay!). This class literally helps you decide what you want to pursue in life. As a student transferring to UCF, this class even helped me prepare for the transfer. I mapped out my future at UCF with the professors assignments. A+

This guy is something else. Incredibly patient and easy going. I spent the class trying to be obnoxious and offensive and he took it all in stride, rewarding me for creativity. I did the final project (to be done over 3 weeks) in about two hours and included remarks about my disdain for the class. He gave me an A and thought it was clever.

I really enjoyed Chip's class. Not only was the class fairly simple, it provided great information that is essential to your future. Each week there was a discussion with 1-2 assignments that were all related to the final story project. As long as you keep your assignments saved on your computer, you'll pass the final. I would definitely recommend.

This is a mandatory class and at first I thought it would not be that interesting. I learned so much through Professor Turner and this class helped get me organized. He has a main presentation as the final but it is broken into chunks throughout the semester to help you get it complete. Easy A as long as you do the work and follow his syllabus.

I took this teacher last fall. Professor Turner is a good teacher. You just have to do all the assignments on time and do it based on the rubric or what is required. He does give good feedback on assignments so that it helps you. Overall, he's great.

Professor Turner is very nice and cares about his students. The workload consists of a few short assignments every week with two 2-3 double-spaced essays the entire semester. He's a very lenient grader and gives you the feedback on your draft needed to get an A on the essay. The final "exam" is a 1.5-2 minute video essay and worth 5% of your grade.

Prof. Turner, or "Chip" as he likes to be called, was a great and straightforward ENC professor. He is very communicative and wants to help his students pass. Only gave us 3 essays max and only harshly grades the final, peer-reviewed & revised copy. All work has clear criteria & may take some time but are all easy to complete. Take this professor!

There was one required textbook availiable online or delivered and every other week we engaged in discussion posts. This class itself is life changing and our professor only improved that aspect.
