Great teacher! He sometimes gets off topic telling personal stories, but that keeps things interesting. You can tell that he's passionate about the language and culture. He's very clear and helpful if you need it. There is a lot of work involved, but what do you expect when trying to learn another language! I definitely recommend this professor. :)

This teacher may be hard, but he will prepare you for the real world of speaking, writing, and understanding the spanish language, determining ethical decisions, and relating to religious people. He is a genius in his areas of teaching intro. to religious studies, ethics, and spanish. He should be respected and treated professionally.

Mr. Warda is the best professor I have had. He is a serious but gracious genius. This is not an easy course. You are learning a foreign language. The Pearson lab is a major part of succeeding. Thankfully, he responses immediately to any workable issues. The real-life illustrations he uses are fantastic. You have to put effort into the class.

This is the best professor at Antelope Valley College! I learned so much from his Spanish courses. Taking 101 and 102 with him was a blessing. He goes out of his way to help the students in his class. The only students that could possibly complain about his teaching method are those who have no desire to learn. In my opinion, this is a very good professor. If you are willing to put your time and effort, you will receive what you worked for. I may have already been a Spanish speaker, but I didn't know how to write that well and this class really helped me out. I took Mr. Warda for a winter intercession and he was amazing. You have to participate a lot in class and don't be afraid to ask for help! He offers extra credit and makes sure you understand the material. You have to study if you're not a native speaker and A LOT but he makes it fun and easy.

Had Professor Warda for Intersession, he does a great job teaching Spanish. The class is undeniably fun and engaging. I know so much more Spanish now, and I believe that I will remember the fundamentals parts of class. He was kind enough to buy the whole class PIZZA and refreshments. Professor Warda is brilliant. I earned my A. However, some students at the junior college are total academic zeros. The tests are typical for a college spanish class. It all study for the exams. No papers. Participation matters. It was a lot of fun too. I got to meet some cool people in a group study time.

This professor is the way to go if you want to become fluent in Spanish. If you have no knowledge of Spanish going in, it will be ruff for ya! missing class not studying or do the homework and you will get an F in his class, I know of students that failed his class.

Enjoyed this class so much. He is straightforward when it comes to hw and grades. Offers extra credit on the 3 tests. Always reviews the test with the class. Final is pretty easy because he gives us a study guide. Learned so much from him, take him if you want to pass.

If you want to FLUENTLY learn Spanish & understand it w/ a clear break down, he is your best choice. Homework assigned at the end of each class. Full credited given for hw as long as you do it, errors don't matter. Test easy, just study. flash cards on vocab and grammar for Extra credit on tests given.

Professor Warda is very kind and tries his best to teach you. It is on you however to go home and study to really understand. I am not new to Spanish so the class was easy for native Spanish speakers but if you are not one then the class will be a real challenge.

Very great professor. Does everything to help his students, shows videos to the class if a concept is hard to grasp. Tells stories about his life and starts a lot of discussions. Overall he is great and the students are his priority. Do the homework, and take 3 tests and you'll have no problem passing.

This instructor really cares about the students. He tells stories about hispanic culture that people can relate to. He gives extra credit to students for doing notecards. I have had some experience with Spanish in High School but in Mr Warda's class, I remembered a few things and understood it better compared to High School. Profesor warda is a pretty great Spanish teacher. He takes his time going through the course making sure everyone understands and offers office time if extra help is needed. He give good honest feedback when correcting how you pronounce things. He also shows good demonstrations in class to help further understand a lesson.

He is always available to students. Spanish programs are filled with vocabulary BUT, if you don't know HOW to use that vocabulary it becomes useless. He emphasizes grammar a lot, because it teaches you how to utilize things that you might learn on your own. He has taught me the fundamentals that I will use for a lifetime. He is helpful and fair.

I am taking Professor Warda for a Summer in person class and he's a great professor. He's really encouraging and very understanding if you have any questions or difficulties learning the material.
