He is such a genuine nice teacher, also quite hilarious! He never ceases to amaze me. Professor Wilson really cares about you & makes sure how you're understanding his class.

Mr Wilson is deff there for you if you need him. The material can be tough but he creates the notes for you in a way that you can understand. Professor Wilson was by far one of the best math professors I have taken. He was always available for help before class. He was a very fair grader and offered test corrections. The notes are created by him because he hates the text book, and tests are based off his notes.

He is a very good Math teacher. He explains things clearly. Ask questions he will be more than happy to answer them for you. You have to put in the work to pass the class. If you don't understand something, he is also available to help, but he also recommends getting help from the learning commons. Do HW, a lot of HW quizzes.

He is honestly the best math teacher I have ever has so far in college ! His Math for Health and Sciences 1102 ( which met on Thursdays from (9 am to 10:30am) was great really. Prof. Wilson made learning a breeze. His notes are extremely well organized and you can clearly tell that he puts a lot of work into the notes, projects, and test to make them easy for you to understand and pass. I said projects but really there is only one and it counts for a chapter test. Get that GPA up and take him!

I slept through class once and should have missed out on our project but instead Mr. Wilson called me and left a message letting me know that I should come in and pick up the project before next class.. I am in Professor Wilson's 8AM and he is a bundle of sunshine every morning, super energetic! He is extremely lenient about people who stroll in a little late, he keeps the doors open during the entire class. He gives guided notes. Plus, he genuinely cares about the students. No homework, just suggested practice problems (do them!).

Probably one of my favorite teachers I've ever had. He is very funny and knows what he is doing. No homework is mandatory but good for practice. Attendance is not mandatory but skipping?missing class will result in missing out on info you need. Most if not all the tests/quizzes have extra credit. Made math class easy and fun (and I took it at 8 am)

This is the 1st math class I literally enjoyed taking. He cares about u and in order to earn A or B he makes you work for it. because most of the grade is based on homework he gives out. Before every exam, he gives out the outline so you know what to expect. His funny and caring nature makes class more fun. I wish he was teaching calc too.

The most important thing about Wilson is that he LOVES math. To him it is clearly a passion and not just a job. He is one of the only college professors I have met that actually cares about his students. . He gives so many opportunities, so getting a good grade really only depends on your effort. Professor Wilson is a great professor. He is very clear about what is due and when. He also sometimes does games or activities to make math a little less awful (to me at least). The connect math online hw is terrible though. Expect to do at least an hour everyday depending on the unit. His review guides however are pretty helpful.

I have only kind things to say about Prof. Wilson. He does not make you feel stupid for not understanding something. I took this math class previously with Jeannette Smith, and she made students in the class feel dumb. Mr. Wilson will help you with anything. Students can ask him to explain something very basic and he answers with respect. TAKE HIM!

Professor Wilson is an amazing professor to have in Math 0481 and for many other classes that he teaches. Hes a type of professor that takes time to help you out. His teaching styles is very informative To the point it helps you succeed with the class. Also breaking down everything in each chapter to help you out on homework and exams in class.

He made my semester easier by giving us a calendar for the whole semester. I knew when every exam was. Go to the review days. He tells you what to expect on the exams. I also felt confident in asking him questions during class. He's great.

I've taken 2 math classes of Prof Wilson's. The 1st day he gives us a calendar with the dates of each chapter, homework, quiz and test for the whole semester! He is super: smart, patient, nice, fun. I learn by him more than 99% of past math teachers. When the Coronavirus hit he did class live video and it was as good as in school. Great educator!

I have had him over 01481 and 0482 and I wish he could teach me all of my math classes. Absolutely hilarious in class and makes math fun... which I thought was impossible. He understands life happens and can be very accommodating.

I've had Professor Wilson for 0481, 0482, and 1218. Though there are considerable amounts of homework in his courses, they really benefit you in the end when it is time for the exam. Very accessible and goes out of his way to offer help to students who may need it. Offers multiple extra credit opportunities throughout the semester, which is great.

Professor Wilson gives extra credit on every unit exam and goes through each exam's layout the day before, and these days are significant. They could be the difference between getting an A or C on an exam if you're struggling with specific problems. Not a hard grader and still gives some credit for wrong calculations if you used correct equations.

Prof. Wilson gave us great feedback during lectures on what he expects from us. He even told us how he grades us so that we don't make mistakes on his tests. I also liked that we had unlimited attempts on online homework problems. Just don't wait until the last minute to do the homework. That was my bad habit. Super positive energy in class as well

I never felt dumb in his class. Any question you had, he was willing to answer. Prof. Wilson even reminded us where in the book to look back on old concepts to help us with the new ones. His directions on the tests are also specific and go with the notes. Pay attention to those details and you'll be fine.

This was a rough semester for me taking 3 online classes, but Professor Wilson's schedule he made for the summer semester made it so easy for me to plan ahead. Even if you say the wrong answer, he has a good idea of why your answer is wrong, but also explains the thought process you might have been thinking. His tests were also not bad. I had a medical emergency in the middle of the semester and he was able to work with me (and the Accommodations office) to extend a couple of deadlines to help me catch up. We even met on Zoom when I had some struggles on the material I missed. The homework makes a difference to help with exams.

The professor definitely gives a lot of homework weekly that will take you forever to complete, at least it did for me. We did also have to do three projects as well in between several tests. I took his class online and he was quick to reply when I had any questions. I would take a class by him again even though the tests were not that easy.
