Mrs.Cabral was a great teacher. She definitely wants her students to do well. She sometimes takes a more technical route in problem solving, but if you let her know that you don't understand she changes it so you can get it. Attendance is taken but it helps your final grade and gives you credit. TON of HW but it SERIOUSLY helps. Test from HW qsts.

She's really nice and friendly , but the material can be confusing and a lot of times it was confusing for her while she taught. Once you do badly on a single test it will be really difficult to recover. You have to meet with her to even know where you stand. She will help you if you ask for it.

She is one of the best teachers at SFC..it's so funny cause she is like my friend now. She is easy-going, and if you don't understand during the class, she will take time and go over it for you. Her tests are definitely easier than the questions on the textbook. Very straight-forward and clear. I will strongly recommend this class to everyone!

Although she does not have enough experience yet to be a great teacher, she does her best to explain the topic and to help her students. The only problem ? she has to cover a lot material in a short period of time, and for this reason some students have difficulty to understand the material. Homework is the ?only way? to do well in her class.

I loved this professor! She makes sure everybody understands the material and really does want everyone to succeed.She tells you what to expect on the tests and has a review the class before. She does give some extra credit. Take advantage of her office hours if you need help and she'll be happy to help you.

this class was extremely easy. If you have any background in calculus, this class is a breeze. I got all A's on her tests (one was a 100% and the other was over 100%) and she gives extra credit on every test. the labs aren't really graded. you get credit just for attempting. I'd recommend this class to anyone.

Good teacher

This was a tough class for me, but I've never taken any Calculus before. Had a C at the midterm and ended with an A. Recomend taking Pre Calc first. Danielle is awsome. Go to her office hours because she goes real fast in class, but she'll take the time to help you outside of class.

She gives you plenty of extra credit, and gives you handouts with step by step instructions on how to work out the problem. The course itself is not easy, and you will have to study. Miss Cabral is one of the best teachers at Santa Fe; she is organized, clear, and helpful. She offers all class notes online so you can print them out prior to class and she assigns a study guide before each test which covers all the material. She even allows a cheat sheet on the final, which is optional if you're happy with your grade. Love her :D

STA was not easy for me bcz im an international student, but she gave us a lot of extra credits. Also, she is very nice and helpful. if u attend to every class and study before exams. It's easy to make A. sometimes use text book, but it's not big deal even if u don't have it. she checks attendance.

This was an great survey of calc class to take! She gives out structured notes, so class lectures are easy to follow. Make sure you do the hw to help you understand, because in class she moves at a fast pace (esp for test 1!). Spending an hour or 2 in the math lab after every class will put you ahead! Great Teacher!

First of, I'm taking 2 online classes and working 3-12s/weekly so I dreaded Stats but Prof. Cabral was very thorough. Her notes are sufficient enough that I only opened the textbook to solve the problems needed for her HW/worksheets. Extra credits are given as well. Practice and repetition is the key! The BEST online teacher I've had and I've done my entire AA online. I was terriied of taking stats online but I'm confident I wouldn't have done so well if she wasn't the instructor.

Gives ALOT of extra credit which will be amazing to your grade. Final is multiple choice and replaces lowest test grade if higher. Great online class. 3 tests+final, test 3 was hardest. A few quizzes, 3 lab assignments, and worksheet w textbook problems due for every test. Her lecture videos are REALLY long though. Overall easy class, take it!

offers a lot of extra credit. Calculus isn't easy online but if you take time to actually study the homework and extra credit worksheet which is pretty similar to exam then you'll pass. I'm terrible with math and did pretty poorly on 2 out of 3 test and the final but still managed to pass!

Mrs. Cabral is probably one of the most fantastic math teachers I have ever had. I was concerned about Stats beforehand, but I ended up with over a 100% in the class. Watch the lectures, do the worksheet homework problems, and DO the extra credit. It is a GREAT study guide for the exam. The class is very organized. Work hard and you'll do great! :)

She gives plenty of opportunities for you to make As on assignments. If you watch the lectures and do the work you won't struggle. I recommend you get a graphing calc if you do not already have one, makes life easier. Make sure you practice the math problems for the proctored tests. She is always willing to help.

Took her for online survey calculus. Lectures were long, but there is only one quiz a week. She is very polite and always replied to my emails on time. Calculus is hard especially if you aren't a math person. However, she gives a lot of extra credit to boost your grade, SO DON'T SKIP IT! I would definitely take her for other math classes!

She gives great feedback. Even though she had a baby during semester she still answered all of my questions and I was able to get through the last chapter test with a 100! If you need the clarity of an on-campus class but don't have time to be there twice a week, this is who you want. The lectures are definitely long, but cover the material so clearly you walk away having actually learned something (unlike most online classes). Crystal clear on what she expects out of you, gives EC, and is on top of correspondence.

Professor Cabral is the easiest math teacher I've ever had. She explains everything in extreme detail, gives quizzes and labs to prepare you for the test, all while dropping your lowest grade and giving extra credit. She's also an adorable human being.

Great professor, I never thought in my entire life I would have an A in a ONLINE stats class. exams are just like extra credit assignments, don't need any access codes. All her videos are on YouTube. BUT takes FOREVER to return exams, at least a week. It's annoying, all her classes are online so what else does she have to do... smh

This professor is the best for an online Statistics class, I highly recommend. There are 5 extra credit assignments, 3 tests and 1 final. She drops the 3 lowest quiz grades and there are only 9. The material is all in her youtube videos which is easy to understand. This class is basic stats in a graphing calculator, if u r good/bad at math, easy A.

Professor Cabral does give good lectures, however, they are very LONG youtube videos. I have found that if I do listen to them, I seem to excel. They just take a lot of time compared to other classes. Not many assignments due, so make sure to turn them all in. Her testing window is very small and mid-week, which makes it difficult at times.

She is the best professor I have ever taken for statistics. She drops the lowest 2 quizzes and drops the lowest exam score and replaces it with your final exam score (only if your final was higher). The online lectures were SUPER LONG, but very clear. If you watch the lectures and follow along with the provided notes, you truly should be able to pass. She is very clear and gives extra credit to help out. I passed with over 100% and math is NOT my strong suit.

While the textbook is "required" for her stats class, I did not use it at all. If you print out her notes and watch her lectures, you'll pass the tests. The lectures set you up for success on every exam. Lots of extra credit opportunity, definitely would recommend Cabral, as she explains everything very clearly.

Mrs. Cabral is easy to get a hold of. The book is not totally necessary as long as you watch her lectures which are very detailed. The information is tough to learn and to pass you will put in some time. She offers a lot of extra credit, I passed with over 100%. Had her statistics class for summer D, and she made the info so clear. I've never done so well in any math class before. You need to put in the time, but her lecture notes are unparalleled. I was very hesitant on taking a math class online, I am very happy I did now. This professor posts A LOT of lectures online which is good, but takes forever to watch them. I ended up googling or youtubing a lot of the stuff I learned, but went of the material she gave us so I could pass the tests.

Professor Cabral is incredible. Her lectures are very clear and easy to understand. Ive taken stats before and she is the best so far. The way she breaks everything down and simplifies it is the reason why I succeeded. There is extra credit opportunities. The quizzes are fairly easy but it is good practice for the exam.

Extremely fair grader with tons of EASY extra credit throughout entire semester. Even though I made 60's on all 3 exams (my fault for not studying) I still passed with a B just from extra credit & partial credit she gave on the exams which i wasn't expecting. Tons of online lectures but mainly just to give us tons of practice & understanding. 10/10

She obviously cares about her class and students. She makes detailed videos teaching the material and gives lots of examples. There are 3 test, one final, 6 Quizzes, 4 Extra credit opportunities, and 3 labs. As long as you put some effort into this class you will pass. She tries to make it an easily passable class with effort.

I had reservations taking online calculus before the semester started but Professor Cabral goes above and beyond to help her students. She responds fast to emails (in depth), and gives a homework study guide before each test. The best way to pass this class with a high grade is to DO THE OPTIONAL HOMEWORK and extra credit. She is incredible 11/10

Professor Cabral is absolutely amazing. Her online lectures are really helpful and clear and she gives plenty of extra credit. I highly recommend her especially for anyone who struggles with math like myself.

Ms. Cabral is a wonderful teacher! Math has always been a tough subject for me and she helped explain it so well! The video lectures are a bit long but if you put the work in it's 100% worth it :) She's always quick to respond to emails and answer any questions you might have. She also gives a lot of extra credit opportunities!

One of the best instructors I have had at Santa Fe. Prof Cabral's is extremely organized and fair. Take advantage of the extra credit available and do the homework assigned homework and you will pass. If I had to take another math class, I would definitely take her again.

Very nice professor but this class is not for everyone. You will have to motivate yourself to complete all assignments and power through tons of long video lectures. Exams are proctored and to be taken at the NW campus testing center.

I cannot say enough good things about P. Cabral. Math has never been anything but anxiety & horror for me. This was the first time in my life I have actually ENJOYED a math class. She never tries to "trick" you, she writes wonderfully detailed emails if you have questions, walks through every kind of problem step by step, extra credit, total win!

First, I just want to say that I was pursuing a degree in journalism prior to the last-minute decision to switch to economics. Survey Calc was the only thing standing between me and UF, and I was quite nervous, as I am typically a C- Low A student who has a real procrastination problem. My test average was above 100% in this class. Enough said!

Plenty of opportunity to get a good grade in this class. The sections can be a little overwhelming but she makes the material as easy to understand as possible. Do the extra credit assignments go give yourself a better chance to pass with a high grade.

Great prof! Easy to understand lectures and assignments. 3 labs Top 4 quizzes 3 Tests and final, that's it. Multiple different extra credit opportunities! Lectures can be long but just speed them on and turn on CC. 10/10 recommend, I'm horrible at math and got an A in this class!

Professor Cabral is so sweet & helped me so much this semester and I can't thank her enough! She gives a ton of extra credit and other assignments to boost your grade up if you do poorly on the exams. I did not do very good on any of the exams but still passed the class with other assignments to balance it out. TAKE HER! You won't regret it!

She was great lectures it's just about keeping up due to the amount of videos. I took this class in Summer A so it was really fast pace and I had to get a lot done. But she is a great teacher she teaches everything in great detail and if you take notes on her lectures and do okay/good on the quizzes you should do good on tests. She also gives EC

WOW, great professor. Great class for people who suck at math like myself, first time I've ever received an A in a math class. Very good lectures and notes just kind of long, the sweetest teacher ever!!! Homework is not a grade but I recommend, she even gives weekly to do lists to keep you on track! Professor Cabral provides decent lecture videos for her Stats class. A solid choice if you want to take Statistics online.

Professor Cabral is a fantastic teacher. I highly recommend her if you are taking Formal Logic. She provides typed out lecture notes and videos to allow you to work through the lecture notes with her. The study guides provided go hand in hand with the tests. Lots of extra credit opportunities!

She is helpful and cares about students who are struggling in her class.

She is one of the best professors I have ever had. I was dreading taking statistics, especially online, but she makes note sheets for each chapter and then does lecture videos to go over them and teach the material. She also offers several extra credit assignments and extra credit questions on every test. Definitely take her if you can!

Some of the lectures are long, but well worth watching! I didn't use the textbook because the lectures were so thorough. The material is challenging, but Dr. Cabral made it manageable. I highly recommend her!

I was initially skeptical on taking this math course as I didnt know much about Calculus, but I was glad Professor Cabral was my teacher. She was able to give precise lectures and sample problems that helped me get better in the class. There were pretty hard topics at times, but it got easier with practice.

Cabral was amazing at explaining statistics, I had two other friends always asking me to teach them and their teachers required so much more unnecessary work compared to Cabral. I would take her again for literally any other math class. She offers extra credit with every test.

I love Professor Cabral! Im horrible at math and this was my last math credit I needed and was terrified to fail. She personally called me and spoke with my for about an hour about the final and what would help me pass. If you put in the work you will pass. I had some personal stuff that put me behind where I was, I could have gotten at least a B+

Professor Cabral does not have live lectures but she has pre recorded lectures that are vital to passing. If you study and take notes you will pass. She gives extra credit opportunities and there are three exams and a final exam. No homework unless you want to practice problems.

I have taken her statistics class which is def easier than this. these lectures are very long but she explains everything very well. it's just time consuming, but she gives lots of extra credit and she is very nice and comprehensive. her tests are just like the hw and quizzes questions. def take this class if you need it

BEST PROFESSOR EVER!! Took her for stats and my grade on canvas was a C+, she averaged and dropped lots of grades brining my grade up to an A for my final grade! Her material is clear and easy to understand & she is easy to reach out to for questions.

I took Professor Cabral in MAC2233 during fall 2020, and I liked her class. I was curious to try MAC2234, and I really liked the class too. Since Survey of Calculus 2 course is during Summer D, I was able to maintain a lot. Her lectures are very informative, and the quizzes and tests are good with extra credit. Im glad I took this professor again.

She had amazing lectures that really went over the way to solve the problems on the test. She gives extra credit assignments as well as extra credit on the tests. She answered emails with questions very quickly. She really sets her students up to succeed.

Not enough characters to truly describe this amazing professor. I suck at math and failed this course twice before finding her. She gives you so many opportunities for extra credit. Her lectures are so in depth, and she gives great notes to follow along with. Homework is optional but it's to your benefit to do it. I wish more teachers were like her

Took this as a Summer D class. She gives lots of extra credit opportunities and makes the information easy to learn. Would definitely choose this professor again.

Really good and worked with me a lot outside of class. The class itself was pretty tough for me however.

You can tell Professor Cabral makes an effort to relay a rather dry subject to the best of her ability; however, much of the notes she provides to fill in during the lectures just discuss the process without putting it into use. The videos for applying it are separate and it's hard to take it step by step when they are split up this way.

Homework is optional and not graded, which I personally loved. Quizzes are easy and only like 5 questions. Tests are like 10-15 questions and she always has bonus questions for extra credit on the tests. Tons of extra credit and I ended this class with an A even when I am not great at math. Highly recommend and would 10000% take her again.

I loved this course and Cabral is such a sweet lady. The quizzes are like the lectures, the exams are like the quizzes, and the final is like the exams. So you always know what's coming. Plus there's a lot of extra credit if the topics don't click well. I really feel like I learned a lot with 0 stress.

Great professor, I suck at math & passed with an A!

This is my second time taking this professor. She gives a ton of extra credit and she doesnt have many assignments due. You dont turn in homework in this class. Her lectures help a ton! I struggled with the material of this class but she is a great teacher. Ill be planning on taking her for survey calc 2!

Save this class for your graduating semester so you can have a easy last semester. Formal logic isn't super easy since its math mixed with English but the class itself was so easy, no discussion post, no projects, nothing but 6 quizzes once every 2 weeks with about 10 questions, 3 tests, and a final that replaces the lowest test grade :) take her!

Professor Danielle Cabral was the BEST PROFESSOR in my two years at Santa Fe College. I needed an A in order to transfer to UF, and I received a 102%. She offers lots of extra credit, bonus, and partial credit on exams! Her lectures align with the homework quizzes and exams, so you'll never be surprised. You will pass with the grade you desire!

Prof.Cabral is an amazing professor. She explains every problem on paper and on the calculator. Her tests are fairly easy and they contain bonus questions for extra credit. She also has more extra credit available. Overall, she was an amazing teacher with a very clear grading criteria.

Great class. Really good at breaking down concepts and is very helpful. She is suppperrr understanding and kind. I was so stressed about this class because I heard bad things about stat, but it was really easy. Very test heavy but they are straightforward.

Course consists of 6 quizzes, 5 extra credit opportunities, 3 exams, and the final. There's no graded homework so make sure you study the material for the tests and do the extra credit assignments. She's very nice and clearly wants her students to succeed.

As someone who was worried about taking statistics, I did great in this course. Professor Cabral is so accomodating and explain things very well. There are 4 big exams (including the final), all which are made to be as easy as possible. She gives so much extra credit and drops lots of grades. No homework and attendance is not mandatory. Professor Cabral is amazing! Her lectures are detailed and she explains things super clearly. With lots of extra credit and an easy test format, this class was a breeze, even for a stats-phobe like me. unstuck ai was a lifesaver for prep.

I have had Professor Cabral for 3 semesters in a row. I really enjoy her lessons and explanation of the material. Course layout is very organized and easy to follow, Homework is optional, but it is great practice that definitely helps on the exam. She is available for students and is ready to help. I am glad I had her for 3 semesters.

Lots of homework using an old calculus book that is extremely confusing. However, she has great lectures to explain everything, plenty of extra credit opportunity/bonus points on tests, and ample office hours online. Also very pleasant to communicate with and willing to help/find solutions to your issues.

Love prof Cabral! She was so kind and truly cared. She had many resources on Canvas, and the tests were easier than the study guides and HW. I always got so nervous before tests, but they were easier than expected. She is the most well prepared prof and a great lecturer. HW not graded, quizzes easy, lots of extra credit, and lots of help! She is well organized and has clear expectations. She talks fast but uses understandable language. Lots of office hours if you need help. No homework with 3 tests and a final exam. There is extra credit assignments and 3 worksheets for the whole semester. She is kind and actually cares about you. Lots of notes but they are very helpful.

Professor Cabral is the sweetest professor ever. She smiles as she teaches and is super engaging. I took intro-stats and there was no homework (only optional). I learned and studied all the material the day before the exam and did very well. Super easy class and prof!

Amazing professor! She's extremely sweet and understanding. Material is not hard at all as long as you pay attention. Highly recommend practice doing problems (i.e extra credit and hw (hw is not graded)). Her lectures are clear, organized, and she provides great examples so you can understand the topic.

All you have to do is show up for tests. No homework and can learn all on your own. Her lectures aren't very clear but the test are all multiple choice and final exam was the easiest of all of them

Previously had so much difficulty understanding stats, professor Cabral made it possible! Hands down the best college professor I've had yet. Also the best online class I've ever taken. 10/10 recommend.
