She's cool, and helps you alot. Can always talk to her. TEsts are pretty easy, as long as you pay attention, and read the book, tests are piece of cake.

She is a VERY ORGANIZED professor. It makes a students life easy if your lecture is based on the subjects needed for the exam. She is one of the few professors who know how to use a computer to her advantage, and use our tax money wisely.

She is completely organized! Every class is something to look forward to because she keeps things interesting! The power point and the videos are awesome and she keeps you awake by adding a little humor to the class. Overall, i would recommend taking her!

As long as you copy down her powerpoint notes (not hard to do) you should not have any problems with this class.

Powerpoint notes and fun lectures-only way to fail is to not read the text. Tests are basic questions from the reading and notes. Very good teacher. Does not like lateness!! or absences!!

If you daydream in class, it's hard. But if you do the extra credit, it balances out the not paying attention in class. The extra credit gives the people who do not do well on tests, the extra push for a good grade.

An easy class if you copy the notes from the powerpoint. There's NO need to buy the book, it all comes from the lecture(DONT spend your money. Strict about lates and absences and oh yea DONT GET OUT OF YOUR SEAT!! she'll treat you like ur in HIGH SCHOOL!

BEST PROFESSOR EVER! i changed my major to psychology because of her. She cares about the students and is willing to help you out! Everything on the test are from the powerpoint so just copy down the notes and you will be fine. She is totally interested in teaching if you are willing to learn!

Can't say enough great things about her. Wonderful personality and fun class! As lower division-college students, we are forced to take a lot of s**** classes. Thus one makes the college experience fun and worthwhile.. plus you learn a lot of real-world, actually USEFUL stuff! Take her!

McAneney was a cool teacher. She only gave out one unexpected quiz, but still becareful. Her test are usually exactly from her lectures. The films are really interesting. Attendance is a must! I recomend her!

She is great and so are her classes. This is my 3rd with her and it rocked. Awesome guest speakers, videos, lectures. Her tests are pretty straightforward - based on lecture mostly. Just don't be late or absent a lot - she will drop you like a hot potato!

Online class. Liked it, but didn't hear much from the teacher (i.e. her opinions on subjects). Otherwise, ok class, and ok teacher. Just "blah" for me. Could have done without it; although I hear her "in class" courses are good.

Took online class. It was a breeze although the tests are difficult because they are based directly from the textbook. So you have to read everything... but can use the book during the test if you get stuck. 4 simple assignments and great discussion board topics to earn extra participation points. She also gives several EC opportunities.

i took 4 pyschology last semester and failed...that's because i slacked off...she's real easy and i enjoyed her class even tho i failed...AND she's freakin' HOTT!!!

Developmental psychology is a very interesting class, the teacher makes it interesting and fun with in class assignments. Tests are based on notes and chapters from book. Really need to ready book in order to get an A on tests. Overall, class is easy if you keep up with lectures and readings.

Easy class, just do the study guide, and you'll get an A. However, watch out for the "Who Am I" portfolio, if you do not understand what it is that you are suppose to do just ask her, and she'll explain it to you.

i never read & i got an A. She is friendly, has a sense of humor, knows what she is teaching and conveys the information accurately. There is always something going on in that class to keep her students alert and entertained. I love & recommend her.

This is a teacher you will eitheir love or slightly dislike. She is very witty sometimes but she's great at teaching Psychology! She will also dedicate one whole class before a test to study with her students. She will also give you an opportunity for extra credit and is very interactive with the class.

This teacher is wonderful. She has been on of the most fun teachers here @ SWC she is very helpful and teaches very well. You must do and follow all of her assignments and without a doubt you will pass her class. You also do alot of group activies and take home assigments. Not to say very funny =P

She is an awesome instructor. I'm not even finished with the class yet and I want to take another psych class with her!!! All you need to do is take notes from her lecture, no book needed. BUT do be on time and present in class....she will drop you otherwise!!! Other than that she is great, take her if you can!!

online class is easy but you have to liberally read the book use the textbooks site and study guides do the extra credit just in case.

Took her 8 week online class and it def wasnt easy, but it was such an interesting subject and she was really good prof that I really learned a lot. Tests were timed which were stressful. But she gives you the opportunity to earn ex credit on every discussion board and an extra credit paper. DO IT!! Thats the only reason I got an A!!

Awesome Professor for human sexuality!Shes very consistent and organized with her grading,assignments,and schedule.I like the way she posts announcements everyday to let people know whats up with class.If you really want to pass her class,you must seriously read the text for the quizzes and always participate in the discussion boards.Recommend!!!:)

I like Ms. McAneney's class. However, you need to do a lot of readings to each of her chapter quizzes. She doesn't give out any final exam nor make you write any essay paper. She also provides extra credits and weekly discussion board. Would recommend if you like online class!

Took her online class. She has the basic set up of weekly discussion boards and quizzes. The discussion topics were very interesting. A lot of reading involved but it was manageable. She offered extra credit opportunities. She seems very nice, unfortunately she doesn't respond to issues in a timely manner.

She is a really great teacher! I love going to her classes and the lectures are brief and short. Watch a lot of videos and fun activities. A downside is that she tends to forget some stuff or go back and talk about previous things you asked her to talk about. Overall a fun teacher!

One of the easiest teacher you can have! She's pretty clear on what she wants, she barely leaves any homework assignments and doesn't require a psychology paper for the semester just a one time presentation. I recommend anyone to take her Human Sexuality class :)

Your typical teacher with a "whatever" careless attitude. She once stated that the capital of Brazil is Rio de Janeiro, that greatly reduced her credibility! her class is so easy that most difficult task in her tests is to write your name on the Scan-tron. Never bought the book and passed with an A.

Amazing professor! She makes you to learn psychology in a very fun way, not that difficult but for sure you have to study to pass, take her, study for the exams, and do homework.. that's set.

Took the online course, only complaint I had were the quizzes. They don't test you on overall concept, just the facts. So after reading two unnecessarily long chapters (for each quiz), you have to continue going back to check every detail for specific data. It's really annoying. Otherwise, easy grader & not difficult, just expect A LOT of reading.

I took human sexuality online during the summer. One discussion post a week and a test at the end of the week. Everything is pretty simple and she even allows you to retake every test if you need to. She also gives extra credit. Easy A as long as you do the easy work. Only thing is I had to send 3 emails to get a reply. :

she's a really cool teacher and super laid back. She gives you a lot of good extra credit opportunity. she's awesome at explaining concepts and opening up good discussion topics. She was late a lot but I didn't really care especially since I had her at 8:30 am.

This is an easy class if you do all the assigned work within the appropriate time frame. All expectations are given up front, so there is no guesswork. Lots of reading. All tests are straight from the text.

almost all of her assignments are in-class, which is nice when you're taking classes with a heavy load. her tests are a little difficult, just make sure to read the text because not everything is in the powerpoints. she lets you retake one test and gives a ton of extra credit so take advantage of that. it's an easy A if you put in the effort

She was organized with the class schedule. Very straightforward. What I hated was she takes forever to grade. I never got an A in the discussion board because I got most of the feedbacks almost ending of the semester so no chance to be better at the next discussion post. I am grade conscious and it was really painful to see my grade from her :(

She lectured for probably 80% of the class. She really knows her stuff and even gives many examples whether its from a movie or experiment. You definitely want to use her PowerPoints that she posts online. Good amount of extra credit that'll defiantly give you a cushion.

I Loved Professor McAneney. Interesting lectures. Participation/in-class work is through in-class worksheets so don't skip. It shouldn't be that hard to attend class anyways, but if you have to just talk to her. Lets you re-take an exam. Definitely want to take her courses again. Her class got me to change my major to psych.

Details: 16 week-online course-4 tests and a comprehensive final exam (all answers are copy/paste on google/given during optional practice tests), 4 very easy Discussion Boards (one is A LOT OF FUN, youll see), and two short and easy papers. The class itself is easy but the professor is very disorganized. She's super cool though. You have to go to class in order to pass since all of her assignments are done in class.

Very clear instructions. Homework is easy to do and understand. Gives good examples of each topic. Exams and the final are easy, as long as you do the homework and study. Very professional demeanor.

Professor McAneney is very knowledgeable and helpful. I took her PSYC 230 and 260 and really enjoyed it. I took her fully online class. Not very lecture heavy, but lots of power points. Overall, just need to read the text and power points. Fairly easy class and some extra credit opportunities in both.

She is very accommodating and will give you a lot of extra credit. She is a quick grader, and if you participate and complete your homework on time, you will certainly receive an A for this course.

I took professor McAneney for a summer online class (Psychology 230) and it was definitely the best choice out there. She isn't a tough grader, the assignments were really easy (everything based on the textbook and some videos) and deadlines were always Sunday-Monday, so you have all week to do your things plus this class. Take her! :)

This class for me personally was really easy, she explained the topics well and had fun activities for everyone to understand the material. She also provides a variety of extra credit opportunities, overall a good class and recommended if you want a laid back teacher that knows her stuff.

I took Psych 101 online for Spring 2023 and it was extremely straight forward and self explanatory. The textbook is free and there's a quiz and reflection weekly and a video application and discussion once a month. Do your assignments on time & youll get an A. 10/10 professor!

I really enjoyed her class! It is a good mix of lecture notes and video notes that we get to learn from. Her test and quizzes are relatively easy and she is very transparent about how she grades them. Overall super great class and really tries to be there for you and help you succeed.

She communicates very well with students and keeps assignments and due dates consistent. She also always leaves positive feedback on my work or tells me what to fix. I received a high A in her online course and would 100% take this class again. We did use the textbook to answer 2 learning objectives per week, but it was pretty easy for me.

She is very kind and offers plenty of extra credit. Be aware that her discussion posts are the majority of the grade, and have a very heavy weight. I missed one near the end of the semester and went from 98% to 83% but I was able to pull it up with extra credit and regular assignments. Read the powerpoints and skim the textbook and you'll do great!

I would say just do your assignments on time, the professor is excellent and very helpful. She will encourage you to continue to succeed in her course which is why I enjoyed it so much. As long as you do not fall behind it is fairly easy to get a really good grade in her course. She is a great professor and I would definitely take her again!

This class was mostly quizzes, discussions, and learning assignments. Very easy to follow. She drops two lowest quiz scores and two lowest learning assignments. There were only a few extra credit opportunities, but the class was easy enough for me to not need them. Discussions are fairly long, but still manageable.

Professor McAneney is a great communicator who provides clear feedback. The class is manageable if you stay on top of the work. unstuck ai was a helpful study tool alongside the textbook.

I really enjoyed her lectures. The vast majority of the homework assignments were done in class and they were really straight forward. The main things about this class are the tests and participation. If you miss a class, you miss a lot of important material. We spent the entire class time taking notes. Overall, highly recommend her as a teacher!
