Will work you very hard. She claims to be Swiss, but with her demands on homework I am sure she is really German. In the end it is very much worth it. You will learn a whole lot.

Dr. Muller is a great teach. I would recommend her to anyone that is interested in learning how to write college level papers.

She was very demanding, but I learned a lot from her. I wish there was someone like her in Ohio where I transferred to. Oh yeah...she was hot.

I enjoyed her class and found myself looking forward to going. She is helpful and a dedicated teacher which was nice. Study for the tests, turn in assignments on time/completed and you will do fine. She likes to have group discussion and group assignments which makes for a fun class.

She is a good teacher. She makes you read alot. All we did in class was go over the readings.

She was a fun prof. We had great discussions in class and analyzed how certain issues in Shakespeare's time still affect us now! It was a lot of fun and you do have to work for your A, but you learn so much from it. I recommend her highly.

Ignore all of the negativity below. These people are whiners and probably the same 1 or 2 people. This is college - grow up! Ms. Muller doesn't ask anything that is unrealistic. Sure, she's a tough grader, but you learn how to write. And any claims that she is a **** are just stupid. If you want to learn, take her, if not find someone easier.

The best English teacher I have ever had. You will work really hard in her class, but you will learn a lot. The reading is really interetsing. She is always willing to help. Highly Recommended if you want to learn how to write a good academic essay.

If you want a pansy English teacher, don't take Dr. Muller. If, on the other hand, you want an English teacher that will grade you critically and ask of you a standard above the norm of LACC, then she is the Prof. for you. There will be plenty of reading and writing, but it is an English class after all, so it is to be expected.

You will work in her class. It isn't an english class to get an easy grade. If you're interested in English or you want to better your writing, this is the class to take. She spends a lot of time discussing the material and your papers so you'll really be able to understand what you're reading and how to better your writing.

took this professor for her summer class online and it was great! I have a new found respect for Shakespeare and his works. Must interact in discussions and do all the readings. Also you'll learn how to write great papers with her she is very thorough when grading essays. Would take her again!

Good teacher & I like her class. If you like english take her but if you're looking for an easy teacher or you don't like english class, look elsewhere. One thing, she does help you. She meets with students & arranges times to spend with them to proof read essays & suggests & helps you improve your essay. Not an easy A. Not the best teacher either.

Pretty decent, a little challenging. The reading is OK, we read like 2 or 3 short stories for homework and discuss them in class. We get quizzed from time to time on readings. If you read, you'll do good. Papers due like every 4 weeks (like 2-3 page papers) based on readings. She's neither easy or hard. Again, she's decent. She has a nice figure ;)

her energy is felt the minute she is presence. if you want to learn, have fun, discuss and debate, EARN your grade, and laugh a lot while doing all these then she is a must! she is a wonderful person, a great teacher, and a role model as a woman (beautiful, elegant, classy, and smart). very reasonable, understanding, open minded person, respectful.

This Professor is super chill and easy. Assignments will push a student's limits but that is what college is all about. Great assignments about Literature. You will read poetry, plays, short-stories, and a novel. Super fun midterm and final. Take the class with Muller, she is an awesome Instructor who facilitates fun learning for all students

Lots of work! Lots of reading. But as long as you do your work and she shes an effort, you'll be absolutely fine. Grading is lenient. Shes funny and tries to make class interesting. Favorite english teacher at LACC!

Muller is by no means easy; however, entirely worth taking. Learned more useful things from her instruction than ever before. The best part is that I can directly see how taking her class has influenced getting higher grades in other classes. She challenges her students, ultimately creating growth. - If you want your $$ worth, definitely take her.

Professor Muller is just wonderful. I took her accelerated English 102 course, so there was definitely a ton of readingwriting, but it was never unmanageable. She really prepares you for her quizzes and tests, and is there to support each individual's work. I appreciated her a lot and I think that she is just great, you definitely should take her!

I've been exposed to many teaching styles, in class and online. Professor Muller is amazingly present and engaged. She inspires thought and encourages participation. She is constantly commenting and keeping up with the class dialogue which helps soooo much to stay on top of assignments. She is the kind of teacher that makes you want to do better!

4 Essays, midterm essay, final essay. We read three books. She is a tough grader but it's possible to receive an A.

She assigns a lot of work and expects a lot from you. The class was taken during the winter and she will give you multiple assignments in each week and expects them to be done by her guidelines but they are really hard to get to especially when you have like multiple classes and a job. every day of the week there was something to do. it wasn't fun.

It was a great online course. I took this class during the winter semester and Professor Muller always kept to the schedule. There was assignments every week. Four essays total. She is a fair grader just make sure your essays are of original thought.

I took this class for winter '16. It was an interesting semester. A lot of reading and a lot of writing 4 response essays (An essay about readings that were due) 4 essays (which includes a research paper) Mid term and final. Yes! It is a lot but it was all managable as long as you put in your time. I was taking 2 classes so my grade suffered.

She's a great professor, best in the Eng Dept! Makes u read a lot which is good. Participate in class this'll give u points towards ur grade. I highly recommend taking her class if u REALLY want 2 learn. Miss a class & you'll miss alot. You'll leave loving literature. Expect Midterm, Final, Presentation & Quizzes. If u want an easy A look elsewhere

Professor Mueller is great! She makes students engage with the literature and encourages students to speak openly about the concepts that are resented within it. She is a special teacher who clearly loves what she does and reflects it in her teaching style and deflects it onto her students.

Awesome professor! She's very organized so make sure you read the schedule religiously and work ahead. I took the 5-week course so it was hard to keep up with all the work but it was worth it at the end. Find someone in your class to peer-edit with and if you're having trouble with your essays, she will help you out to make sure you get it.

Tips on passing her class: 1. Read ahead!! 2. The syllabus is your friend. 3. You have to be ontop of the assignments, there are response essays, peer editing, and daily discussions. She is fun though, she wants you very involved! She's a strict grader but that's how you learn to become better at writing. Challenging but very rewarding!

Professor Muller gives good lectures, always interesting and funny! Her readings are always interesting and nothing heavy! Her essays are straightforward and she is very helpful throughout the process of it. I very much enjoyed her class!

Tough grader but great teacher!

Doctor Muller is a great professor to take if you want to transfer to a four year university. If you don't want to really think and really work, you won't like the class. That being said, she is astoundingly intelligent, and her classes are great. The lectures involve a lot of open discussion, and I was always excited for this part of class.

I've taken English 28, 101, 103 and now am taking 204 with her. She's a great lecturer and what I love is she chooses material that is interesting, often a problem in an English class. Of course it helps to come to lecture. She focuses more on the reading material and expects you to have adequate writing skills. Take her if you love to read!!

She is very mindful grader. If you are ready to work, and study university level English/essay writing then the class is for you. Do not take this class for just passing. There are novels, poems, stories all you have to read. Overall, she makes students work and feel that we are in university. Very motivetional, She likes to advocate students.

The best English professor at LACC. If you want to transfer to a 4 year university, then she is a good English professor to take. She really prepares you on how to write college leveled English papers which is a good thing. This class was not easy at all, not an easy A. So, if you like challenges, then this class is for you. Be prepared to read!

World Literature with this Professor was a fantastic experience. I don't think there is any other class at LACC that can teach deeply human concepts like this class. A great starting point for anyone who wants to get into literature. She's very kind and respectful to students.

The class material was splendid and made the class enjoyable overall. I would strongly recommend this instructor to any other student.

As long as you turn your writing assignments in early, shell give you lots of feedback to rewrite & perfect. Fascinating choice of authors & stories. Great mix of female & POC authors too. You NEED the textbook. Loved her love of literature!

I honestly found Professor Muller to be very caring . She is not an easy A she will make you work for it . I found her readings , lectures and rubic very easy the answers are there , do the work show initiative and you will pass. She always responds to any questions you have as well so don't be afraid in reaching out to her .
