Danielle is awesome. Her lectures are interactive, which helps if you're not too keen on the subject of psychology. Knows what she's talking about. There is a bit of classwork outside of tests. Really helped to clarify the tangle of subjects in this course. Just take good notes, and you should be fine.

Great teacher, lectures are fun......3 exams, all homework is completed online through the book's website which was very easy. Test are based off of the powerpoint's and lecture. Easy A.

Dr. Richards was amazing provided two options for extra credit, you could still do both. Very helpful if you ask for help even though lectures and the book and the book website course mate is very helpful and required for this class, Don't buy a used book unless it comes with a new code. Will take her again, she was absolutely fantastic!!

This was my first college class and it was the best class I ever took all of my life. She was such a great teacher, always made sure we understood. Homework was not too bad but mandatory, and the homework helped you more than her. She made going to class enjoyable and I always looked forward to it!!!

I'm taking the 8 wk course online and it is very manageable! I'm taking 4 regular classes and this 8wk psy101! pretty much read a chapter a week and say what you learned and a few discussions

Took the 8 week on line class - 3 tests, which are pretty tough, but if you read the material and study you can do well. She also gives the option for extra credit. Over all her class was awesome. I would absolutely take another class from her again.

The class was 4 weeks and every week there was a discussion that was due, nothing else. She did not give any test or quizzes, and the discussion post are simple!

Took a a 4 week psy101 class. So easy and so worth it. Ended the class with a 110%.

She usually does online classes but I was lucky enough to take PSY 270 with her in person. She loves for her students to talk to one another and do a lot of group work. She is super sweet and knowledgable, classes aren't really mandatory but you would never want to miss her class because of her personality and the great movies she shows. LOVE HER

I would definitely recommend her if you are taking Psychology for your first time. I took the accelerated 4 week class and I was so happy I did! It was a lot of work and you have to be discipline to completing your work on time. Do not take this class if you are not motivated because you will not pass.

Took the four week online course. syllabus is crystal clear and assignments are very reasonable. chapter summaries for all chapters and 3 discussion modules followed by 3 exams and 2 extra credit opportunities. if you complete your work you will do well. I love Dr. Richards. She have a well laid out course syllabus. if you are on a 4 week course... expect to do alot of reading, summary for every chapter and 3 open book exams. She give 2 extra work to earn extra credit! If you do the work you will get an A.

Professor Richard's 4 week course consists a lot of work because it's an accelerated class. Expect to read many chapters a week and do chapter summaries before the week ends. It's all easy as long as you manage your time wisely and do all your assignments and tests. Please do the extra credit! It will help you out a lot! I ended up with 110%!!!!

This class was an 8 week class online. I didn't find this class difficult, all work was clear. There are a few exams on the material read, nothing crazy. This instructor responds to all assignments, it's nice to have feedback. You will need to read about 3 -4 chapters per week.

Took her 4 week PSY 101 class online. At first you see the Syllabus and almost become overwhelmed, but the work is so do-able. For chapter reviews she lets you write them how you want, she says everyone learns differently. Submits grades fast and always leaves a comment your work . Easy A, if you do the work and she gives extra credit! Do it!

I took a 4 week summer course. Be sure to do your homework and pay attention to dates where assignments are due. I missed an exam, but was able to make it up (for the most part) by doing the tremendous amount of extra credit available. Weekly discussions, quizzes, and a final. All in all, great professor.

4 week online class. At first it can be overwhelming but its doable. I got the wrong book and did the summarization already and gave partial credit and have me turned it the right chapters for it. She does offer 3 extra credit. For the most part you get to summarize 2-5 chapters per due date and 1 chapter at the end of the course.

Such a great professor. She is gives very clear grading criteria and is very caring. The material provided is very educational as well.

Took the online 8-week class. I would definitely take her again. She gave a syllabus and required summaries and quizzes. It was not overwhelming at all and somewhat work at your own pace. She set clear deadlines with plenty of time to accomplish them. She offered extra credit and was very easy to reach. I wish more professors were like her.

Simple and straightforward. She tells you exactly what you need to do to pass this course and gives you the tools to do so. If you fail this class, it's on you. If you do the work (it was NOT a heavy workload) then you will pass this class.

Would take her class again for sure! Class was only 4 weeks long so it was really compact, but Dr. Richards made it really enjoyable. Assignments consisted of two post discussions, chapter summaries, and chapter exams. As long as you put effort into the chapter summaries, you should do good. Exams were 20 questions with a time limit of 90 minutes.

Dr. Richards made PSY101 way easier and faster than expected, There were quizzes every week, but they were all open book, and very easy. I would 100% recommend taking this class. I mean, I was able to complete the class with a 98.5%, and people are shocked when I tell them that! So yes, go add her to your schedule, this class is amazing.

An enjoyable class with a lot to read. Tests are open book but I strongly suggest to read book and material provided. An easy-enough extra credit available. I recommend this class 100%. Professor doesn't leave much feedback but I didn't ask for it either.

Graded by a few discussions, exams, and chapter summaries. 3 exams w/ 20 questions each and you have 1.5 hours to complete each one. Extra credit is available but unnecessary since class is easy. I recommend getting the textbook for chapter summaries and because its an interesting read.

This is my favorite professor! She provides a week for homework (Summaries on PowerPoints) and provides another week for a test (1 hr. to answer 20 questions) and that all you are graded on besides commenting on two other classmates posts. I highly recommend this class to anyone who is not looking for a hard course and just an easy A.

So so so so sweet. I completely messed up in her class due to focusing too much on other classes, and she helped me get right back on track. Passed with a 109%! Definitely take her, you wont regret it.

First time I've gotten 100% in a class. 6 assignments (summaries of chapters for the week). Doesn't have to be a special format or word count; just type what you learned and that's it. The textbook seems to be written by a real person and isn't exhausting and boring to read. Best prof ever. Will take again! Easiest class ever but learned so much

I took the accelerated 4-week course, and it was magnificent. I highly recommend this professor, as you will be learning something new with each assignment. She did require a textbook for this class (very informative). The entire course consisted of (4) discussions and (2) assignments. You will learn invaluable information.

Best professor I have ever had. Such an easy grader, even though there aren't many assignments they are still a little difficult. However he made the class so interesting that you want to learn and you're intrigued by the assignments. I would take him for every class if I could.

I took this as a 4 week course. Get ready for a lot of reading. You need to make a summary for every chapter you read. Dont just summarize her powerpoint, it has to be from the book. Quizzes are open notes. She replies fast on emails and is very helpful when you have questions. Extra credit is easy.

If you skim the text book chapters you can easily create a summary. Highly recommend this teacher and I am being so honest because I look at rate my professor too. As long as you finish the reading assignments (which should take you several hours per chapter) you should do fine. The teacher is not harsh on grading and provides students with plenty of help ranging from PowerPoints to extra credit.

VERY easy class. I did a 4 week online course and I was expecting a heavy course load due to the 4 week timeframe but WOW, anyone can complete this class. Every week only had work due on Sunday consisting of 1 assignment where you did chapter summaries for 3-5 chapters (which could be short and simple) and a quiz. Week 3 only had chapter summaries.

Took her four-week class for this fall semester and it was relatively easy! It's mostly reading from the textbook and group discussions make sure you do her extra credit assignments!

Excellent my most relaxing class so far. No stress! And she didn't make a one credit difficult. One of my favorite so far. Understanding,caring and just a nice person. Her class should not be at a 1.8 for difficulty. I don't understand why it's that high it's a lot easier if you just do the work and do what she asks.

Took the Fall 2022 4 week course. Great, easygoing professor. It was so nice to have a class where I was not constantly stressed. Discussions are not difficult, 2 assignments due, neither are difficult. She seems incredibly kind. Did not require APA format. Interesting material regarding career exploration in psych field. 10/10!!!

Took the 8wk class in Fall 2021. We had a total of 3 Discussions, 3 Summaries, and 3 Open-book Exams. The class is overall easy. Read, grab some points, and write them down as summaries. Use your "notes" and pass the exams. You won't feel rushed, just don't do them last minute. Easy Social Science credits. Syllabus is clear.

Wish she could record lectures and provide study guides. I felt unprepared for tests, even with 90 minutes for 20 question made me feel rushed because of that

The 4 week class is summarization heavy from the required textbook. As long as you keep up with reading, take the test each week, and participate in discussions, you have an easy A. The teacher is cooperative and understanding, she even offered a second chance when I did an assignment incorrectly. I would more than recommend taking her!

Easily the nicest professor I've had so far, super understanding and sweet. Coursework is light and manageable, just need to read the book, write some chapter summaries and take a few open note exam/quizzes. You would have to work harder and be intentionally disrespectful to get a B over an A in this class with how forgiving and kind she is.

I love this lady.She's very sweet. I made a mistake on the first assignment and instead of her just marking me down and moving on ,she gave all of us an opportunity to fix it for full credit. This is the third class that I had with her. This was a one-month class.I finished in 6 days.The class is open. Only six assignments. Will take her again.

It was an accelerated class. There is a lot of reading to be done as each chapter requires a summary. However, I think the work was very doable for anyone who does not procrastinate. I found a free pdf of the textbook. There are concepts I still remember from the class, which I am happy about.

Great professor and great course! Some of the questions on the tests/quizzes were a bit tricky and oddly worded, so that kind was a little unfortunate but I guess that probably just comes from the subject itself... Otherwise I would definitely recommend!

I took this course in the online first 4 weeks of Fall 2023 and almost finished it in 2 weeks except that exams are dated and wont open until the date assigned. Dr. Richards is so understanding, gives great feedback and as long as you do your assignments and participate in the course, EASY "A" SHALL YOU RECEIVE.

SUPER EASY A. The way the class is designed is pretty simple with not a lot of assignments and you'll have weeks in advance to do the assignments. She gives a lot of opportunity for extra credit. Highly recommend her. I took her class online and she seems to always give good feedback and grades pretty quickly.
