Our work to do was uploaded on Sundays and then we had the whole week to do it. The work took no more than 2 hours to do. We had a project at the end. The tests were very focused on what we looked over in the recorded lectures. There was a textbook that I would advise to get (from someone else its pricy) and use. She was highly accessible and great

Dr. Riebe is very nice, helpful, and has done impressive fieldwork. However, I was not a fan of the lectures. She moves fast and is obviously reading from a script which can be tedious to listen to. But easy to reach and tests are not too hard if you do the reading- which is a lot. Defending your answers to your TA can get you points back on tests

Dr. Riebe was easily available over GroupMe for questions. Work for the week is posted on Monday and due Sunday, but the work you do every week is only worth 15% of your grade total. The rest comes from the exams and the final project. IMO its a lot of work for a cultural credit, but overall not terrible. Read the textbook though.

Class structure itself is poor, mostly based on tests that are extremely textbook-heavy. Going to the lectures doesn't seem to actually impact how well one does on the test. Otherwise, there are weekly review questions and discussion posts with questions that only seek for you to give one particular biased answer.

Good professor with an enthusiast attitude but she gives LOTS and LOTS of busy work. Be prepared for hours of reading, homework, quizzed, writing assignments, and lots of tophat every week. Not terribly difficult as far as course work, but the sheer amount of assignments and reading makes up for that.

She's a nice professor, but she gives SO MUCH busywork. I ended up doing more work each week for this class than for any of my other classes this semester. However, it's not hard to make an A if you do the work.

Overall, not a bad class. The articles she gives out for the quizzes each week can seem daunting, but you get used to it, even though it feels like busy work. Has an exemption policy for exams which is super nice and takes a lift off and gives you a free week. Final group project isn't bad, get to pick your group.

Professor Riebe's class is fairly easy. While attendance is not mandatory, there are tophat assignments that must be done in class and the lectures are helpful for the assignments. You have do like 5 assignments a week and read many articles which is alot when balanced with other classes, but overall the work is easy, just ALOT.

Great professor - HEAVY workload (but not necessarily difficult) Pros: - provides a weekly check list (huge help) - easy to reach - caring - passionate Cons: - WEEKLY quizzes, (around 6/7) readings, writing assignments, and Top hat Homework assignments. - assigned two random work groups which can be difficult or great depending on your group.

Riebe is not a bad lecturer and is genuinely excited and interested in many of her students, but the class setup itself is poor. She doesn't provide slides and there is very little you can do for missing class or assignments. Attendance is taken using Tophat and there is group work each week. Quizzes aren't hard but readings are tedious and boring

Solid professor, cares a lot. Class is very managable if you do the work. You can exempt out of exams if you do well in weekly writings and quizzes. Show up to class and do the work its pretty easy.

Great professor for the course! She clears care about her students and lectures were somewhat interesting! Attendance is mandatory, but u can technically do the TopHat from home. Weekly writing assignments and quizzes based on the readings, but both are pretty easy and if u do well, u can skip the exam. Easy class overall!

2 exams that are optional if you get an A average on all the weekly quizzes up to that point, final project that you work on pretty much all semester, project is annoying if you get a bad group
