I took path 1 online and it is extremely difficult and detailed. the easiest part was the 4 case studies but the quizzes and very detailed and you need to know the chapters inside and out. she is very helpful at her office hours though.
Took pathophysiology 2 in class. She can actually teach, fairly easy, one of the better professors at UCF, would definitely take more courses with.
Took path 2 online. The questions are very detailed and you have a minimal time limit so you really have to be on your A game. Whats worse is you are not able to review which answers you got wrong after the exams or quizzes so checking your work and learning from your mistakes is none existent.
Professor Webster is awesome! Super helpful and nice. You can review your quizzes during her office hour and she will try to explain in details of things you didn't get. I'm going to take her Patho 2 online during the fall. I'm looking forward to it. Quizzes every week, 4 Exams, 1 final, and 4 case studies.
Great professor. The class is hard and takes some work but she is very helpful and clear about her expectations.
Patho II was no easier than Patho I. The Neuro section was extremely difficult. Some exam questions were impossible because the answers were NOT in our the textbook. Overall she was really fast to reply to emails and she has office hours to help you.
Tests are very easy and the book is not used. Dr. Webster lectures in a convoluted manner, constantly revising information and it seems like all she is doing is reading the points off of the slides. My lowest test score was a 94 yet I got a B in the class due to the insane grading of the case studies.By far the most incompetent professor I've taken

I took Prev. Healthcare, and I will say that the class itself wasn't all that bad, but Dr. Webster is a VERY CRITICAL grader. I've never had a professor grade as hard as she does. Yes, I understand that it's college, but in my opinion she went a bit overboard. Not to mention how long it took for her to grade the case studies. Quizzes a bit tricky.
Take her IN CLASS! She is much tougher in an online setting (took patho I online). For patho II (in class) she gives fast-paced and dynamic lectures and is willing to repeat things if we have questions. Case studies in class are super helpful and done for participation points. Not easy material, but a great professor when in an in-class setting.
Professor Webster is amazing. Her lectures are easy to listen and are not boring. I would take her again if I could. Tests are challenging so be sure to study. Case studies are done for participation points.
I would not recommend taking patho with her online. I can't say how her F2F lectures are. Basically you teach yourself. Read the book, take the quizzesexams and you're done. You got something wrong? Too bad, you'll never what it was , so no learning from your mistakes there. Case studies are easy, so she'll take points off for any little thing.
Her tests are very hard and in depth. Make sure to study for quizzes and tests. She said she drops one quiz and test, but mine never got dropped. This class is tough as it is, but the professor doesn't make it any easier. Attendance is mandatory. 4 tests, 4 quizzes, 1 cumul final, 4 case studies. I had to teach myself everything about patho 1.
Interesting and straight forward class. Dr. Webster makes test taking and learning the material much easier. She is very helpful, personable and knowledgeable, taking patho II with her in Fall.
Dr. Webster is by far my favorite professor at UCF. She makes her lectures interesting and gives you ways to remember the material. While the material can be difficult, her quizzes and exams come straight from the PowerPoint so if you don't do well, you aren't studying enough. She is always available to ask questions and she is very helpful!
Took Prof. Webster online this Spring semester & truly enjoyed the case studies (there are 4 total she assigns); yes, she is a tougher grader in an online setting but you just have to be as detailed as possible to get the full points. Quizzes & exams aren't too bad if you review the "key points" she provides. Overall, I recommend taking her!
I took this class online. I spent many hours reading the chapters and reviewing the PowerPoint slides she provides. I found a website that goes along with the book that helped and watched many YouTube videos to better understand material. The book assumes you REALLY have A&P down pat. I EARNED an A in the class :)
Her online class is fairly easy. Be sure to thoroughly explain you answers for the case studies
Be prepared to have tough quizzes. Even if you study hard, you still miss her tricky questions. I am an A student and this was the most horrible experience I had in my student 's life. If you have any chance to take this class with someone else, do it!
Webster is ana amazing professor and lecturer. She really knows the material. This is not an easy class though. It requires lots of time and effort. 4 exams plus a final, 4 easy quizzes, & 4 case studies. It is a monumental amount of information but this class is strictly memorization. The exams are fair. The quizzes and case studies are easy.
This is my favorite professor at UCF. I took her for patho 1 and 2. She is knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to learning the material. 4 exams plus a final, 4 quizzes, and 4 case studies make up your grade. Exams are not easy, you really need to read the book to get an A on them. Quizzes are not bad, easier in patho 1 then patho 2. Take her!!
I loved every single lesson she presented. Very prepared and knowledgeable. There are 4 case studies to be done in group during the semester. Exams are very fair, not easy not super hard. You have to study for them. I am so glad I took Patho 2 with her and wish I had taken her for Patho 1. Great professor, A+++ for her. : )
I have no idea where to begin. She is a respectable teacher, and very good at explaining her lectures. I would take the F2F instead of mix-mode if you can so you get a better understanding of her lectures. She is one of my favorite professors of all time. Tests, however, aren't easy, so make sure you study. Come to her office if you have questions!
Absolutely love her!!! Her lectures are amazing and she is hilarious. I'm struggling to keep a B but its only because I have not studied enough. She provides power points for each chapter and her tests are straight forward. Get the book. You have 4 exams, cumalative final, 4 case studies, and 4 quizzes. GO TO OFFICE HOURS!
Professor Webster is the bees knees!! She is hilarious, knowledgable, and really know how to make a lecture enjoyable. There are 4 quizzes, exams, case studies and she grades attendance with REEF polling. The final is cumulative. I have learned so much in this class, and would take patho 3, 4 and beyond with Webster if they were available!!
Dr. Webster really knows her stuff. You can probably pass her exams with a C if you just listen to her alone. You have to work for an A or B though. 4 exams, 4 quizzes, and 4 case studies. (IF YOU TAKE ALL EXAMS AND QUIZZES, one of each is dropped!) Also, do not waste your money buying the textbook. Just make sure you understand her PowerPoints.
GREAT PROFESSOR! Funny lectures really knows her stuff. If you take every exam & quiz she will DROP THE LOWEST FOR EACH. 4 group case studies. Cumulative final. I finished w/ a B+. Get the book. A decent amount of material but straightforward. Study ppts and/or book. Will be taking her for Patho 2.
Professor Webster is an extremely nice teacher who truly cares about her students. The course content is not easy, however with her lectures, it is passable. She will continue to go over concepts until her student's understand. I took this class over the summer, we had a quiz and exam(over 3 chapters) every week, and I still passed with an A.
Dr. Webster is hands down the best professor I've had at UCF. She engages the class very well (even in lengthy 4 hour classes during the accelerated summer semester). It is a tough class with a lot of material but if you go to class and PAY ATTENTION she will say mostly everything you need to know for tests. Book is helpful for extra info
Dr. Webster is a nice professor and cares about her students. She really makes the class interesting and enjoyable. However, she does make her exams a lot harder than they need to be making you work really hard to get an A or B. She's also really bad at time management and getting things graded in a timely manner.
I've taken Dr Webster for path 1 and 2, and I can say hands down she is the BEST PROFESSOR EVER. She is such a great lecturer, so informative, inspirational and hilarious. Her Exams are TOUGH, but manageable. She is not the easiest, you have to work for your grade, but I promise it is worth it! I've never learned so much and I will miss her class!
Professor Webster is a great lecturer where she truly helps connect the dots between concepts. It is a very content heavy course but she aids with examples, case studies, and clicker questions. The tests are derived from the ppt but make time to study as her exams cover multiple chapters. Drops 1 exam and a quiz.
I took her for Patho1 and 2 simultaneously so it was a lot of material but I was able to get an A in both. Most of the tests are based off powerpoints and she'll emphasize in class what to focus on. The class is doable if you put in the work. Book is not needed. Drops 1 test and 1 quiz. Final was easier than exams because it was more broad.
I had Dr. Webster for Patho 1 and 2. She is probably my favorite professor at UCF. She relays info well & is funny. Drops your lowest test and quiz. PPTs outline key details, read the book for more in depth. Show up to class & get those clicker points!
Favorite Teacher at UCF! Literately made Patho my favorite class. Not a walk in the park, you need to study. Take her if you want to learn something. Don't need txt bk, just ppt slides. Took her for Patho 1 & 2. Patho 1 is more material, while 2 is less chapters & more application. Drops 1 quiz. If you try you definitely can get an A.
She is the absolute best professor. Her powerpoints are all you need for success, but I really liked reading the book as well. This is the most straightforward science class there is and if you pay attention to her lectures (which is not difficult because she is easy to follow and really entertaining) you will have no problem in this class.
Overall she is a good professor but her exams are pretty hard. Her lectures are fun and she helps you connect the dots between what youre learning and what youre supposed to know

Really don't understand the hype about her. She's a great lecturer and is interesting to listen to even though she talks really fast. She does not prepare you for her exams well. This class isn't difficult but the questions are tricky. You can't really just memorize the powerpoint but you have to learn to apply it situations.
Very great lecturer, makes patho (1) as funny and interesting as it can be for such a challenging subject. There is a lot of information she requires you to know and you have to put in the effort for this class, but if you pay attention and take notes in class she explains everything extremely well. Does iclickers but they only helped my grade!
If you go to her office hours and ask her a question she will make you feel stupid for even asking it. Takes the longest time to grade exams even though our class is mixed mode and we only meet once a week, yet for some reason it takes her well over a week to release scantron graded exams. Don't take her!
Made the material easy to understand and interesting to learn. There were 4 exams, 4 quizzes, and 4 case studies where you work in a group on questions and present to the class. Informal presentation but come prepared to answer the questions. Don't really need the book, just make sure to learn the ppts and lectures. Hard exams but not too bad!
Great lecturer! Tests are super difficult. This class will give you anxiety, especially waiting 2 weeks for a scantron exam to be graded. Class is dependent on exams. Take someone else and save yourself the headache.
Exams are really specific. You would think that the cumulative would have more general questions of the material through out the semester but no. Avoid her.
She's really knowledgeable and really funny. I enjoyed her lectures. Don't get the textbook there's too many chapters to read and you'll end up studying mainly from her powerpoints and the keypoints. Her exams are DIFFICULT be very careful! A B in her class is manageable but an A is gonna take a lot of work as her exams are super specific
I don't like her and I don't like her teaching style. She is overly confident and does not care when the class average is failing, its all our fault of course, nothing to do with her incompetency. I had Kyle Riding for patho 1 and got a high A, I am now struggling to pass. God I wish I was able to get into riding's class for patho 2.
I was terrified to take this class because so many people told me she was difficult. Coming from taking Patho 1 with Kyle Riding, I was a little scared. Don't let people scare you because I did really well in this class. Pay attention to her lectures and go to class! She will tell you that the book is needed, but I never used it.
Dr. Webster is HARD. She can be a little intimidating and her class and exams are not a walk in the park. HOWEVER, I've never had a professor so willing to help her students as much as she can. She goes above and beyond to help you understand and pass the class. She works with you if you put in the work.
I had her for patho 1 and 2. Patho 1 was a breeze. Patho 2(mixed mode) was much harder. This class isn't just memorization. Her tests are very clinical so you have to connect the information yourself. I only studied the powerpoints and took notes from what she said in class, which got me an A.
Dr. Webster's exams are specific. Some questions are pure memorization and some questions are critical thinking. Overall, her exams are not impossible if you study. She is funny and helpful if you have any questions. Study for the final even though she will say that its super easy. The only complaint is that she does talk really fast.
Path 2 with her was honestly one of my favorite classes I've taken in the major. It's not an easy A but I really feel like she considers students learning styles and actively tries to make the new material learning process one that everyone can understand. Prof Webster taught me a lot about path but she also taught me new ways to learn and study.
She is very bad lol. She told me if she was a student she wouldnt even take the class if she herself was teaching. Dont take her. She will make your life miserable and I regret taking her.
Dr. Webster is a very fun, caring, and good teacher. Textbook wasn't that useful and the exams do challenge you and go beyond the powerpoint slides. It is a hard class so you have to study and the final is cumulative. She does require REEF poles so attendance is a must (but you should show up for the notes). Overall a good choice but be ready.

There were 4 quizzes, 4 exams, 4 in class easy group assignments and a cumulative final (which was easy, considering). She drops lowest quiz and exam. I used the book a bit but her PowerPoints were really all you need to get an A.
This class is doable if you put in the work. PPTs are long and tests can be somewhat tricky. Pay attention during lecture (clickers!!!) and don't fall behind (cramming for her exams is NOT fun). Final exam is cumulative but not as specific as the previous exams. Case studies are fun group assignments; quizzes are hard to get 10/10 on.
You could study for days with all the power points, key points, key questions AND read the textbook and still get asked questions that were barely mentioned or not mentioned at all on the exam. Exam questions are counter intuitive. Everything you think will be on the test is not. Best thing to succeed is to study everything NOT on her materials.
Webster was extremely inconsiderate during the covid-19 pandemic. She made her tests harder than when in person, only giving 60 min for a 50 Q test and not allowing students to go back to previous answers. A lot of test questions were never discussed during class (I recorded lectures so I know). Avoid her during a pandemic and you'll be fine.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it made class even harder than before. I was barely getting by with her fast-lacturing and lack of guidance when it comes to quizzes and exams only help was given was to "look over the key points and questions and read the textbook". When the final came around she gave the exact same advice. You have been warned.
Because of COVID-19 & our Patho class going online, I did worse on the 2 exams I took online than the 2 exams I got to take in class. Only advice she gives to study is to "go over key points in textbook and review our notes as best as we can." She did not allow us to go back to previous questions on exams like we were able to in class. Stressful :(
Professor Webster is basically heartless and thinks her students are in medical school. Shes very tough and also a tough grader, to who ever is going to take her i suggest not. CHANGE YOUR mind. Her tests are our of this world she doesn't reply to messages and she also very rude to her students and she thinks its humor when its not. Try to avoid.
With Covid-19 going on, professor Webster was the worst professor ever. Did not care about the circumstances, in fact she made the class 2x harder than before. Her case studies were pretty easy before switching to online, but after she made them extremely hard and you have to study like youre studying for a test. NOT A SINGLE POINT OF EXTRA CREDIT
She cares more about cheating than having students feel comfortable during exams. Her exam format is terrible and makes her exams really hard.
Took it online over summer A. This class is doable, but very tough as it is very lecture heavy with a ton of information. Prof. Webster is definitely willing to help her students learn, but her powerpoints are extremely dense for a 6 week course. Graded on 4: tests,quizzes,case and case studies (with each one drop)/and final exam. No Extra Credit!
Webster is nice but seems a little irrational when it comes to her tests. They're very detailed specific (power points aren't enough, read the book). 4 quizzes, case studies, and exams each, plus a final. Exams average at a 70. Took her for summer b Covid era. This class needs attention- can't cram the night before & expect an A. good luck :)
Don't do it. I took this class online. Lectures aren't recorded and you aren't allowed to record them which is ridiculous. On quizzes & exams you cannot go back to any questions so if you are unsure at that moment you are screwed. Case study quizzes are worded weird and are more harder than they need to be. She also doesn't respond to emails.
By far one of the hardest professors that I have taken at the University. If I can go back in time to enrollment, I would've never taken this class with her. She is nothing but sarcastic and only cares about cheating! Her test are not straightforward! She gives no extra credit! There are no study guides! DO NOT TAKE HER!!!
If you've gone to med school, completed your residency, become a doctor and started your own practice, you MAY have a chance at an A. WORST professor at UCF. her tests are impossible, you cant review them after you take them, she laughs at everything and has no interest in helping her students succeed. if you enjoy being miserable, take her class
The Professor is decent. She is non-specific so you have to study. However the main issue with an online format is the abhorrent cheating that occurs. This ruins the class for those students that dont cheat because they cant benefit from a curve as Webster asks deeply specific questions. Take this class in person. It will be more fair.
Imagine not letting you go back on a test to change your answers due to the assumption of the student must "be absolutely sure of their answer". Not were you not allowed to go back and change the answers on previous question on exams and quizzes, but the lectures weren't recorded during distance learning.
she's literally the worst professor I've had at UCF. the only advice that she gives before her exams is "talk to the TA's". her exams have nothing to do with the lectures, they are unreasonably difficult, and she doesn't care. offers no help and doesn't let you review past exams/quizzes but the final is cumulative so you're basically scewed.

Do not torture yourself by taking her for patho 1 or 2. She doesn't care about her students and pulls random information for the tests. If she's the only option for signing up you might as well just wait for the following semester.
I have greatly disliked patho2 this semester because of Webster! Her quizzes/exams are unreasonably hard!!! I am a good student who almost always gets As, & I still have not been able to figure out where she pulls her questions from. Ive payed attention to lectures, studied powerpoints, and closely read textbook. They seem to be random & specific
Worst professor I have ever had. Her exams are crazy difficult. She says to study ket points for exams but the exams are nothing like the key points. You could study her key points ten times and still get questions that aren't like them. You can't go back in questions. Terrible proctoring system. No resources and not allowed to record lectures.
DO NOT TAKE She will not help you. Test / quizzes remain muted so you can't even study them, if you go to office hours she WILL NOT even show you them. No study guides, No direction, TAs have said she doesn't even tell them what to review. Test are extremely specific, questions may be from just 1 line of a chart on a random page. She is the WORST
Worst Professor Ive had. Quizzes and exams are using lockdown browser with webcam which is understandable, BUT you cant even go back and fix your answers! She literally doesnt care about her students at all. Never responds to emails. Be ready to study beyond the PowerPoint, book and key points. Shes so terrible its unreal. No extra credit too
STAY AWAY HORRIBLE PROFESSOR. No feedback, cant see test/quizzes after taking. Cumulative final but you dont know what youve gotten wrong previously so how do you know what you should study? Crazy hard tests, super specific, no guidance no extra credit. DO NOT TAKE. Got As in orgo, micro & immunology but not this class bc of HER format.0/5
She takes forever to release exam grades and theyre online so idk why it takes so long. Currently writing this as I wait for my final exam grade (taken an entire week ago) to know if I graduate in a few days. It sucked we had to take the final without seeing our exam 4 grade. Shes a smart lady, but really disorganized by the looks of it.
Any rating over a 1 is a paid review. This is the worst professor at UCF. Every test/quiz locked yet we cant get our grades back for weeks. No feedback after exams. You have no idea what questions youve gotten wrong/right. Imposible tests, case study quizzes are without notes. Pretty sure shes the devil, or his mom. Avoid if you value your gpa
I absolutely resented this class. The material is fun and engaging but the tests/quizzes are ridiculous. She will ask questions that are from one sentence in the book. However somehow the average grades for Quizzes and tests are average. Something is off here. I took an Endo class and got an A prior to this class but I got a 75% in that section.
I have never failed a class before and this is the first one! She is a nice and genuine person but, the way she sets the class up is terrible. Her exams are literally impossible to pass, you cant record lectures, and she expects you to know every little thing from the textbook even if it wasn't mentioned during the lecture. Listen to the reviews!
Exams are insanely specific and random. Cares more about trying to catch cheating than actually promoting a good learning environment. Cannot go back and forth between questions, doesn't record lectures, and you can't review material. Tests weren't based on actually understanding disorders but rather if you read a specific line in the text.
Dr. Webster is an amazing lecturer, and you will learn a LOT from lecture. Her critical thinking questions are easy if you know the information, but her specific questions will kill if you haven't memorized the textbook. That being said, you can get an A in this class by mastering everything she teaches and hoping it outweighs the hard questions
By far the WORST professor I have ever had. Her tests are incredibly hard in that you'll have no idea where she pulls her questions from, once you answer a question you cannot go back to it, and she doesn't let you review your tests to see what you missed. As if school wasn't already difficult enough with the transition to remote learning...
Hardest class ever taken. You cannot go back to questions already answered during exams/quizzes. Asks specific questions from the textbook on tests. No extra credit. You set up appointments to review tests but you cannot see the actual test. Instead she just talks to you about the question. Not a mean person but just isn't the best teacher.
DO NOT TAKE. No feedback,no extra credit,tests are meant to trick not based on understanding the info. Lectures interesting however will NOT help on tests. Got a B at the expense of my sanity and 20hrs of studying/wk. Read the book & study everything NOT mentioned in class or on power points then cross your fingers & hope for the best. The WORST
The WORST. Lectures not mandatory bc they wont help with tests. She acts like she cares but her exams say otherwise. Memorize the textbook as powerpoints & key points arent enough. Questions asked about topics never discussed. If youre a senior & you need this class to graduate & shes the only option, youre better off changing your major. RUN
The powerpoints don't really help because she says a lot of information by mouth that isn't listed. She's impossible to get a hold of so if you have any questions about your quizzes or case studies you better figure it out yourself. You can't review any of your exams. Takes weeks to release exam grades. Doesn't really support her students at all.
Worst teacher ever. Every assignment, test, and quiz was proctored and overly difficult. All she cared about was cheating, and didn't have much compassion considering we're in a pandemic. She was good at lecture, but a very annoying person. She made the the class harder online than what it would be in person and I wouldn't take her again.
Dr. Webster is an engaging lecturer however, her lectures do not even skim the surface of material needed to be known for the assignments. Know the book. Questions are difficult and ask information that I could not even find in the book or her slides. She only curved the final and the highest grade was not even 100. Please avoid taking her online
Took her last semester and she was so awful I have ptsd. If you like to study for weeks then get a test on the fine print under pictures in the book & not on the material she lectures about, then shes the professor for you. I have nothing positive to say, honestly 1 star is generous
Ok so this professor is way more worried about students cheating than actually passing the class. Says that ppts have all info, but thats not true. Makes tests extremely hard. Class is only graded on 4 tests, the final (which is 18%), case studys, and 4 quizzes. All extremely hard, she never answers her emails. avoid her at all costs!
She is a very nice professor, but the way she makes her tests are extremely annoying. Timed proctored tests that that have way more info then what she provides us. Tests are MC ,4 exams and a final, she loves true or false. She made our final due one day after our exam 4. No extra credit. first class in my 4 yrs of college that i wont have an a/b
If you arent a good test taker, shes not the professor for you. Your only grades come from test and quizzes. Very hard to figure out where she is pulling information from. PowerPoints lack a lot of information and she wants you to know way more than she lectures on. Tests are very hard and extremely specific.
She is the worst professor I have ever had and I have had a lot of professors. She gives quizzes and exams and does not grade them for weeks. Your last exam does not come out until after the final so you don't even know how you did or if you passed the class. Nothing she lectures about for hours is on her exams either. The lectures and the powerpoints do not at all prepare you for the test, but her test questions are resued and there's a lot of quizlets with the answers that helped me pass. So test heavy that after every exam I'm forced to forget what I learned to prepare for the next one. Ending this class sad that I feel like I didn't really learn anything

She's a really nice person just honestly be prepared for the exams. It's not memorizing from the ppts, but using those concepts from the ppt to guide you on how to study the book.
I would study for HOURS and get a 58 on the exams... PLEASE stay away from her. she is KIND and understanding. but her exams are BRUTAL and the class is weighed heavily on them. I wish i listened to the reviews and stayed away. Getting my first C ever.
First of all, she is by far the worst professor I have ever had in college. She tells you to focus on the powerpoint, and then will add stuff from the textbook that she never even mentioned. Her tests are so confusing. I spend hours studying and taking notes. She doesnt curve, DO NOT TAKE HER, she makes this class so unbelievably hard for no reason
I'm not gonna say something new. It was really tough and in one exam the highest score in the class was 85 and she did not curve. it is my senior year and I have never got below a B in any class gpa3.9 and in this class I am really hoping to pass with a C!! she is a great lecturer and excited but the material does not help a lot.
Please if you can avoid her please do! Take any other professor besides her. She is unfair, she lectures based on a PowerPoint but you will not find it on the test. Her teaching structure is horrible. The class average was a D so that speaks for itself..
DO NOT TAKE HER. I saw the comment that it would be ok to take her class with Ferdowski so I did and I regret it. Shes a good person but the exams are pulled from ACTUAL THIN AIR. The class final average was a 60% and that was after a 14 point curve.
Most of her exam questions are from the textbook and specific things she says in class. Go to class, take notes on the powerpoints, and read the textbook sections and you will be fine. If you study well, the class and exams are very easy. Go to her office hours to review your exams, she is very helpful and very funny.
Dr. Webster has been my favorite professor at UCF by far. If you are looking for progression into graduate school you need to take her class! You have to supplement the power-point with the book information and really dive into the WHY, not necessarily straight memorization. I got an A in P1 and P2 and she has prepared me more than anyone for GS.
When I had a severe medical issue that caused me to be hospitalized, this professor refused to allow me to make up the assignment "as I didnt call before midnight to make it up"- I was in the hospital 2 days and received devastating news that day. I will never forget going to this professor in a time of need, and being shamed instead of supported.
I loved Dr. Webster!! Literally, all her examples and power points come straight out of the book. The material itself is not difficult just a lot of studying and understanding the "why". She drops one exam, one quiz, and one clinical. Make your own notes and marry ur book. The final is cumulative. Go to lecture and read the syllabus for test dates.
The professor who teaches this class structures the class to be difficult, especially compared to other Patho professors. Powerpoints are thorough and are what you need to do well in class. There are curves on exams. This class is meant to prepare you better for the future. The professor is kind and wants to help you succeed.
She lectures very fast so not much is in depth. Exams are basically your entire grade. The final is 25% of your grade AND cumulative. NO study guides, which sucks because each exam is about 5 chapters and you have to know the entirety of the information. There are opportunities for easy A's but they do not do much for your grade. Drops lowest exam
Professor Webster is a very smart professor however when it comes to teaching I felt like she just expected us to know a lot of things. For one of the exams, she did not even go over the content because she had plans to travel so she canceled class and we had to learn that entire module on our own. Be prepared for this to be a heavy class with her.
Shes nice and very smart but man she talks so fast and she gives 4-5 chapters per exam, each chapter is lectured via ppt with approx 40-50 slides and then you just have alllllll this information to try to categorize and its just too much. She doesn't give a study guide either which is a negative on her part.... if she did, Id give her a 4 maybe a 5
intense class but if u like science and learning how/what can go wrong in the human body then this class should be "painfully" enjoyable. Exams are 5-7 chapters compressed. No study guides for exams. Drops a few grade and mandatory attendance just for exams and case studies. Could have earned an A if I had put just a little more effort. She's good
Her lectures are fast-paced but are not enough to study from. Her ppts are helpful, but are not always sufficient to study from. The textbook is free but not needed if you use patho lectures found on YouTube. There are around 4-6 chapters per unit. 5 tests (in person), weekly quizzes, 4 case studies, which she drops one of each. Final is cumulative
If I could rate her a 10, I would 100% I've never had such an amazing professor. She truly knows how to teach, I've never learned so much in a class. The course is challenging but so doable if you truly study & listen to her lectures. She cares about her students succeeding. She drops an exam, quiz, and case study. I feel so prepared for patho 2.

The thing is her exams are really not that bad unlike all the reviews say. They are very fair and mainly from the PowerPoints. However, if you want an A in this class you have to ACE her exams (bc she just does not have any other opportunities to raise grades), and that's not that easy at all. She's a nice and funny person, not the greatest prof.
Danielle Webster is really a great professor but the material is difficult. Although attendance is not mandatory, you should 100% go to class because the powerpoints alone do not help much in terms of the exams. She is a very smart and kind professor, but be prepared to study.
Shes not good. There are somehow NO study guides, not sure if shes just lazy to make them or what. Talks SUPER fast in lecture. Her tests are HARD, except the first 2. Asks extremely annoying and detailed questions, and some were super unnecessary and not related to whats on her powerpoints, but she swears that she only asks from the powerpoints.
Very encouraging she writes you personal to let you know how well you did on her exam. I never had a professor congratulate me on an amazing job I did on my exam. Very soft spoken and kind
Dr Webster is a very difficult teacher. She was more concerned about catching attendances issues, then worrying about the success of the students. I would recommend not taking her class. Exams are heavy and vague.. Shame on UCF for keeping her around for so long. no good. Take your red pen and shove it.
Super nice lady but just an awful professor. Was extremely vacant all semester, no study guides, no curves, no help during office hours. She was very checked out due to being pregnant which is obviously understandable but dude come on, the exam averages are in the 50s. The exams had a ton of errors with irrelevant content not in the powerpoints.
This class is tough, and the main issue is there are no study guides. This is a huge problem because it made it difficult to figure out what to study for tests, and some times it felt overwhelming because there were no study guides or anything to guide us on what to study. This resulted in a lot of confusion among students especially for the final.
Maybe I'm just traumatized from how BAD orgo is at UCF, but compared to orgo this class was much easier. Read the ppts for sure and honestly read from the book too. Professor's lectures are okay because she gives you hints about what will be on the exam but I agree it's not fully clear at times. "WyzSci" has the textbook lectures on Youtube.
Avoid this professor! Even if it extends your graduation- which taking her will extend it anyways, do not take her. I am a straight A student and have never failed a class before taking her. She was absent the majority of the semester, told me to "consult the TAs" whenever I asked for help or clarification on topics. Class average was a 57! AVOID!
The exams can be challenging, but they're fair and mainly cover the PowerPoint slides. To do well, you'll need to ace the exams, as there are limited other grading opportunities. The professor is nice and knowledgeable, though the pace can be fast. unstuck study and other study tools like YouTube videos can be helpful for preparing.
Dr. Webster is the best professor I have had at UCF! Most of the bad reviews are probably from people who do not show up to lecture or just don't put in the effort. Her lectures were awesome and she is very passionate about patho. She always answered questions and is super approachable during her office hours. The studyguide is the powerpoints!
The night before our Exam 4 she sent out an email at 1:19am saying that our exam was canceled due to "unforeseen circumstances". Instead of posing a helpful solution to all the students who were studying tirelessly for final exams, she decided to combine our Exam 4 and final exam into the same class period, meaning less time for each exam.
She got mad when the whole class reported her to the Dean and retaliated by removing the Exam 4 and final curves. I dread this class with every fiber of my being. I took it over the summer to get ahead- big mistake. It ruined my summer. For your sanity, wait for another professor. If you can't, honestly, just switch majors. It's not worth it.
She sent us an email the day of an exam saying she wouldn't be able to make it, and we would be expected to complete BOTH exam 4 and the final within the same hour and a half. Instead of offering support during a time when students were understandably upset, she chose to increase the difficulty of the exams. Overall, AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!!
This professor is very passive-aggressive and unhelpful if you need one-on-one support. She combined Exam 4 and the final on the same day and removed the curve after students went to the dean, which felt retaliatory. She doesn't consider students' schedules or other classes. It's unfortunate because the material is important especially for pre-meds
I took Patho I & II and did well in both despite never reading the textbook. Her powerpoints are extremely comprehensive and I got As on most exams by studying them and making charts of the different diseases covered. Her lectures are very interesting and there are a few details covered in lecture that may be on the exam but not in the powerpoint.
Avoid this professor at all costs. I took her class even after reading all the bad reviews hoping that it wouldn't be as bad as it sounded. But, trust me, she is that bad. I don't mind tough exams, if the prof makes an effort to teach the subject and tests you on the content. She made no attempt to teach and exams have no relation to the content.
Lectures were rushed, and her attitude toward students worsened. She canceled an exam last minute and rescheduled it to take with the final. The last two tests felt intentionally harder. You have to do well on the exams or you will not pass. I spent the entire summer studying my butt off and barely scraped by with a C. Would not recommend.
Awful experience. I was in the hospital until 2am and per her policy, you have to email before midnight to have a chance to makeup the assignment. When I pushed back, she was very short and not supportive at all. Ultimately this ruined my grade and has caused me many issues down the line. Do not take this class. Heed the warnings.
This is a tough one. I like her as a person, she is nice and loves to lecture, but, the tests are very difficult. I studied her guided notes, power points, and even made flashcards from the power points and did horrible on the first two exams. She even emailed me and made it known that I was doing bad. Basically her tests are so intricate and hard.
This professor has no understanding and respect for students. She treat teaching like a business. She's only here to make money and not educate.
Honestly, I would give this professor a 5 personally, but I think other students struggle with her exams. I have gotten an A in Patho 1 and 2 with her and loved her. Her tests are her powerpoints and class lectures so attend class if you can and really understand the powerpoints. There is a group paper that was pretty annoying.
Easily one of the most frustrating professors I've ever had. She doesn't even grade - her TA does - and does so harshly with no useful feedback. She claims the “check-ins” are meant to help, but the punitive grading proves otherwise. Exams are needlessly complex, lectures are just slide readings, and the research paper was graded by AI.
Dr. Webster is an incredible, caring, and engaging professor. I deferred taking this course for a year as I was waiting for Dr. Webster to return from leave. Her class is very straight forward so I can't imagine why she gets so many negative reviews... I would recommend coming to class, taking notes, and using the key notes/questions to study!
She is charismatic and very knowledgeable. Her lectures are engaging.. However, she tells you to read the textbook and go over the powerpoints in order to get a good grade in her class. I cannot fully agree with this statement. I would create flashcards and quizlets from her ppt, study over 600 terms, just to get a C in exams. Makes no sense.
The main thing that made me not want to do this again was the cost and what we got for it. I felt like the course was very expensive and the places in which we stayed in, visited, and ate at could have been much better, especially for the cost. The cost breakdown also did not add up. Although, the overall experience was great.
