First-rate professor.

I can not concentrate on the subject in his class! Hollywood guy teaches in our school!!! Plus, his lessons are as easy as interesting. Very helpful. One midterm and one final. I love him more and more :)

This professor has the total package. He can teach; he is nice; and he is hot. Oh, my God, how hot is he!! He is not your classically handsome guy, but he has this bearing, raspy voice, and dynamite personality that just totally reommend him. People, you all have to take him; for his teaching, and his personality. You will not be disappointed.

Remeza is a throwback from that 70's show. He really reminds me of the 70's. He is so cool and refreshing from the boring English and it's old english writings. He make is make sense. He is good looking but very professional. He's like one of the students and deals on our level. He's great...simply great still taking him and hope all goes well.

He may be a cute and has a good understanding of the subject, but he is so BOOORING. He needs to find a way to wake you up, especially at 8 at night.

He is an easy professor, and at the same time he allows you to fully comprehend the material. All teachers should be like him. He actually goes over the reading material. Oh and did I mention that he is the most charming guy I have ever seen? He's great... Take him!

He is Absolutely GREAT... He is not only gorgeous but he makes the material seem so easy. I do not regret taking this class. Everyone should take him.. We haven't had our first test yet but I am sure it would be great, he covers most of what we read ensuring our understanding of it. This is a John Jay KEEPER... Take him!

Very goodlooking-those eyes! Even if you fail this class, it is worth it to look at him! But he is not only cute but makes the class interesting. Im not a fan of any of the books, but he make the books interesting and fun. For all the girls-Take this professor he is nice and nice to look at!

This professor in a nutshell is simply the best. He's attractive yes, but not a flirt. He stays professional even when femaie student hit on him in an undercover way. He involoves his students and engages them in the story. He is THE BEST Literature professor around. TAke him at all cost, you wont be disappointed.

I like that he tries very hard to get the students interested in the literature for the class. He is really clear in explaining the literature and the underlying symbolism in the books. I would definitely recommend him to someone else. Plus his tests are SUPER easy, only if you've read the material.

Prof. Remeza is an outstanding teacher. He really enjoys what he teaches. In addition, he is extremely helpful and is very fair in grading. He is totally hot to look at so even if you don't learn anything, it's worth it to just sit in his class and look at him.

ALOT of chicks in his class. Good professor. Explains the confusing stories well. Assigned readins at night, 1 quiz, midterm, and final. Interesting selection of books.

Lets state the obvious,Remeza is GORGEOUS. He can make your heart stop if you lock eyes with him too long. But how does he teach? He's an excellent teacher, we read Beowulf,Dante's Inferno, which are usually painful, but he made it interesting You have to be a real dummy to fail this man's class. Take him, you wont regret your decision

He is so handsome. AND he's an excellent professor, he gets the class involved in interesting/funny discussions about the material. He makes sure that we really understand what we are reading, not just memorizing for a test. Even if you are a total screwup, take his class just to get a gander at him. He was an awesome teacher, easy going, nice and fun. Not to mention gorgeous. He had us do mock trials and write a supreme court appeal brief. Ouch can't help but pay attention in class when your teacher is so cute.

What does the guy being a looker have anything to do with his substance as a professor? Immaterial. Grades very fairly and lets you get by with a fair amount of absences. Makes the text easy to understand (dare I say dumbs down the class?) Very friendly. Warning: due to his high demand, prepare to have a class filled with imbeciles.

He's Awsome. Easy, Helpful, and Funny. You read some good books in his class and some pretty dry boring ones. But all in all by the time you take the test, you will be prepared. RECOMMEND THIS TEACHER

This class is easy as long as you do the readings and participate in class. There is only two exams throughout the entire semester and those tests are a cinch. Easy A for me... probably for you too! This professor is highly recommended!

Prof. Remeza is a must take. Wasn't excited in taking Med. Lit. Prof. changed my attitude. Struck a good balance of the authors covered. Encourages participation. Doesn't put you down if you don't get the theme of the work. Expands on your points, this encourages you to participate and read. Earn your grade. Not hard at all for the serious student

HE's an easy teacher. He is CHILL and relates the plays we read like beolwulf and dante and shakespear to current movies so we can understand. No textbook, books less than $10, a midterm with short answer/xchoice & take home essay & final sub takehome essay for inclass one were assigned. Professor Remeza hot, charming, sexy, and I wish he was my husband. Well that is beside the point he is an excellent teacher he uses life lessons and realities to explain old literature books like bewulf and Dante inferno. He was one of the few professor that help understand shakespearan novel. Good teacher has passion and drive. Remeza has it all.

He is one of the best professors at JJay all you have to do is read the books and do well in his easy tests and term paper and you will get good grade on his class.

I like literature, but not when I'm forced to read it for a class, I like to read for pleasure w/ no pressure. But this guy is great, relates to the students, turns difficult lit (Dante's Inferno, Beowulf, etc.) into something understandable. If you don't take this professor you are missing out on a great experience. :)

Great Professor, Very passionate and caring of his students. His lectures are fun and he makes the most boring material understandable. You will actually enjoy attending his lecture... And should you need help, he is always willing to meet with you after class and go over the material with you.

I don't think the professor being hot has anything to do with his teaching skill. He tries very hard to get the students interested. The downside is the fact that he IS hot so be prepared for a lot of girls in class staring at him which can get annoying if you're actually wanting to learn to his credit he remains professional when girls hit on him.

Cool professor, I like arguing and he made me like arguing more and he is willing to help but is not a bad guy while doing it i recommend taking his class especially if you love writing because his writing assignments are fun and reasonable

He's a great professor. Will layout everything you need to know for the rest of the semester and goes step by step on every case brief due. Makes you understand everything you need to know for the assignments. I loved this class.

I took Remeza's ENG 250 class in fall 2015. He is simply an amazing professor. Easy to talk to, really goes into depth with explanations and analysis. If you're struggling, he is here to help. Don't hesitate to ask questions! He is like a pre-law book wrapped up into a human being! He gave us a lot of helpful tips how to survive law school!

The course consisted of mock trials, four 6 page case briefs/memos, no midterm, no final exam. Did a lot of group work and group assignments. Cool professor; really down to earth. Doesn't give much feedback on papers, but he's cool and fun. Taught the students how to do I.R.A.C which was helpful for Law school. He's handsome & knowledgable!

Prof. Remeza is amazing. He doesn't follow the syllabus, but his classes are never boring & he will make sure you know how to do IRAC and are prepared for law school. Very knowledgeable & experienced. Participation matter and expect group work and mock trials. You won't get your grades back promptly and goes over everything & gives good feedback.

Professor Remeza taught me how to be a better writer and a better person. The only thing is that he never gave back test grades. Other than that he is awesome. He is super nice. He remembered all of his students' name. He's willing to help any students. Although his class was English, he was always there to help me with my law class.

Prof. Remeza is great who is genuinely interested in his students and helping them succeed. He's clearly very knowledgable and takes a more direct approach to making sure you understand how to apply certain concepts instead of just lecturing. Feedback isn't always prompt but helpful when received, plus he's handsome which is an added bonus.

Best professor of ALL time. He truly cares about his students and gives helpful advice for law school. The class was a BREEZE he only assigned us about 3 memos (easy) no final, no exams. We also do really fun mock trials in his class. TAKE HIS CLASS you won't regret it!

He made the class extremely enjoyable and found ways to inspire his english 101 students. He never gave us boring assignments or made us read annoying stories. There was no final, only a research paper and no homework.. just make sure you participate! His grading is not clear at some times but he was overall a great english professor.

Literally best English professor at JJ. He really cares about the students. There is hardly any HW and hardly any readings. If he did assign readings, they were short and interesting and he usually reread them again in class with us. No final, just an interesting research paper due at the end of the semester. Loved this professor, would take again.

He's honestly the best. There was no homework, two or three very short readings, only one quiz, no final and one research paper. Save all the work you do in his class, portfolio is required. He's great professor because you can see it in his eyes that he loves his job, he genuinely cares about his students. Make sure your work is good quality.

Amazing professor! Relates well to first year students and inspires you to be great. His unique style of teaching allows you to see things from a different perspective. I took Prof. Remeza's ENG 101 class in the fall 2017 semester. Despite it being a long time since I have taken him, I still find him to be one of the best professors I have had at John Jay. He makes you think critically and helps you improve your writing. There were few assignments for this class but he still expected an effort. Take him.

He was such a nice professor! There were not too many assignments, we just had to make a final portfolio as our final. The sections in his courses are so fun. We learned about legal writing and scriptwriting. He is very knowledgeable and easy-going. Take him if you can!

i took his class for my fall semester and he is one of my favorite professors! he is really nice and cares about his students. He "goes with the flow" and never really assigned too much work compared to other english professors. Overall, he is a good professor and if I could, I would take any class of his again!

Requires a textbook to be purchased of his, but it provides useful information on skillsets needed for law school. Gives examples and chances to review assignments before they're due. Best to attend in class lectures to understand more about the readings and see how an assignment should be done. Really a fun class to take.

Great professor when it came to feedback. Wants to help his student pass the course. Helps a lot when it comes to understanding the material and the assignments he gives us.

Only graded on three things, but it's all pretty straightforward and graded fairly easily. He wants everyone to pass and produce their best work. If you do the work, you'll do great. He's very enthusiastic and funny, going to his class was enjoyable.

I'll go straight to the point, Remeza is an amazing professor who genuinely cares for his students so much that he does everything possible to help you out. In terms of homework, it's light and fairly easy he gives you an extended deadline if needed. No exams just projects which are easy and really enjoyable. I took ENG 101 and 201 with him.

He is a great teacher and you can tell he genuinely enjoys being a teacher here, He always gives good advice and it feels like I get something out of every lecture. Not much classwork but a lot of the grading is based off homework.

Very chill class, learned a lot about IRAC and drafting memos, would definitely recommend to anyone considering law school. No exams, just a few discussion boards and client memos.

I enjoyed his approach to hybrid ENG101. He posts very lengthy and detailed descriptions of assignments on Brightspace which can be a lot @ times but is very clear about what you should be doing. Takes significant amount of points off for lateness with assignments so try to prioritize these assignments. Great guy, makes you think outside the box.

Professor Remeza is great! We were only graded on 2 client memos, 5 pages each. They seemed overwhelming at first, but he breaks it down in a way that is easy to understand and gives good feedback. I highly recommend taking classes with him if you are considering going to law school. You learn a lot of skills that you will use in your first year.
