Best Class I've ever taken at HCC!!

Want to take a fun class?! Then this is definately the guy for you. He is funny and interesting. I was never interested in taking a philosophy class, but he has definately made it worthwhile!

This teacher was AWESOME!!! He will have you rotfl!!! His tests are easy all you need to do is show up for the review!!! He is an open teacher who NAVER forces his views/beliefs on his students...want a heated debate? This is your guy!!!

Take this class!! I am taking it right now for Summer and its great! no books needed for Summer! No research paper needed for Summer only essays which if you do you get a easy 100. Teacher used to be a stand up comic so he is hilarious! great teacher! i made a 96 on first test and understand everything. He is a cutie too! TAKE THIS TEACHER!!

I took it this summer and it is a great class!!Prof. Brown talks funny and you don't want to skip his class bcoz it is soooo interesting! you learnt a lot, and this class helps you think critically.Easy A, he gave out practice test which is the same thing as the test! TAKE HIM if you want a easy A class and have fun in summer!

Very helpful Professor, he is very visual and auditory and i wish he can be cloned. His teachings go right to your long term memory, so i didnt even read much & i still made A, cos all i did was listen. But write your essay/ research well.

Excellent professor! The guy knows how to teach, relates to students really well, and is freakin hilarious. This was a summer (M-F) class at 8 in the morning, and everyone still showed up just to hear his lecture. Study his reviews and your guaranteed an A! Best class I have ever taken at HCC!

Professor Brown is awesome! he relates to his students really well and is hilarious! The tests are easy, he reviews with you a day before the test! NO TEXT BOOK needed so if you a low budget this is an even BETTER reason to take his class! he is awesome! He splits the writting assignments up for your benefit!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

even though he has gray hair and a lil beer belly... HE'S HOT! hilarious teacher who knows his stuff very well. dont ever miss a class or ull miss out on his hilarious jokes! the only thing he takes seriously are his essay assignment but other than that you're pretty much set. he's the most awesome professor i've ever taken!

I am currently attending his course for the summer and let me tell you, he is very fun and easy-going professor. I am certain i am coming out the class with an A. His lectures are very interesting and relatably funny. Oh, and not to forget to mention, He's HOT!!! TAKE HIM, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. YOU WILL LEARN AND LAUGH @THE SAME TIME,WHAT A DEAL

I just finished the summer semester in his class with an A. Professor Brown is very knowledgeable in this subject and not too mention hilarious. I definately recommend him you won't be sorry. Don't miss a day of class though, everyday you learn something new. Made my semester fly, wished it lasted longer. Absolutely loved his class!!!!

Wasn't as EZ as some say. Had to study but WANTED to study. He makes you Want to learn about the subject(s) he is talking about. Great teacher, learned more in this class than all the others combined!

BEST PROF EVER!! He's hilarious and the class is interesting. I took him the Summer 5wk so instead of doing a big paper we did 3 or 4 1pg essays. He goes over the tests in review!! just different order on the test. go to class everyday, dont miss review!! and do the paper or essays and it's a definite A!! and u'll love going to school for once :)

I have no interest in Philosophy, but the class is a pre-req., so I took it in the summer. Prof. Brown made it so interesting and enjoyable, as he is very funny! I spent my 5 weeks wanting to learn more. No need to buy the books, his notes are on the web. Make sure you attend the review and you will get an easy A!

Best philosophy teacher ever. Keeps all the material relevant to the course. I would definitely recommened it to any one that needs a phil credit you wont regret taking his class. keeps all students focus by tell some stories that are some way interesting. Also "scholars" never be late to his class or reviews.

I took this class as a pre-req and loved it! He's very entertaining and interesting. Go to the reviews and you'll pass the tests with A's. The writing assignments were very easy too. Don't be late to the test!

OMG! This professor is the best philosophy teacher ever. I just finised taking this class and i leerned alot. Just follow the syllabus as he says and you will make an A. work not hard at all. He responds in a timely manner and grades easy just dont plagiarize and you will do fine.

most stress free class ever! he is what an online techer should be CLEAR, just do what he asks on the syllabus dont cheat and he will give you full crediot for following instruction not too much work about one item every week. he was not very present but the material was easy. dot bother buying the books i got a 97,i never opened one,use his PPTS

just took him online. we had 2 quizzes, 2 major papers, 4 short essays and 10 discussions. something due every wednesday. just keep up with the due dates and you will make an A. I did both my major papers the night of, at the last minute and got all points for each one. he grades very leniently and posts grades in a timely manner. highly recommend!

This prof is the best, I was so scared to register for the class, but I followed what students say, which was true, no textbook, follow the power point, then u will get ur easy A.

Excellent and a great professor. Just follow the syllabus: 5 discussions; 4 quizzes; 1 final exam; 2 essays and 1 paper. For quizzes, read his PP and the reading portion from the text that he wants you to read, you will do very well in the quiz. The quizzes are timed but he gives enough time for each quiz. Got an A.

Easiest professor at HCC, he has discussions, quizes, tests and papers. Honestly I did all these assignments in 10 minutes. Just google or bs everything and he will give u 100. Just make sure to look at his syllabus and follow his rules. As long as you do that I will guarantee you will get an A in this class!

This was one of the easiest courses I have ever taken. His class consists of discussions, quiz's and tests. JUST MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW THE RULES. You can just bs everything but just follow his instructions. Its the easiest A I have ever received.

Super easy course! Professor has a great sense of humor, answers emails promptly and all the books for the course can be found at the library. All assignments and tests were online.

This was one of the easiest classes I have ever taken. I was absolutely afraid to take this class at first. I just finished the summer 8wk online class. Just follow the syllabus and do as he ask, you will be fine.

After dreading philosophy for a while, I am so glad I ended up taking it with him. I can tell he really cares about his students. He replies to emails quickly, his instructions were clear, and he doesn't overload you with work. Just do the few assignments on time. Take him! You will be glad you did!

Easy class took this class in the summer online 8-week course. You have a week to finish an assignment. The only thing I recommend is that you follow his directions and you will be good. You will need the textbooks which they are cheap online. Pay attention to the PowerPoint’s because your final comes from those PowerPoint’s

Read the syllabus to follow the instructions on how to post for discussions. Work due weekly on Wed by 11:59 am. You do need to purchase the required texts, which are relatively inexpensive. The quizzes are easy if you do the reading. One major essay (3-5 pages with citations). Work is submitted to Turnitin, do not plagiarize.

Great! Highly recommend! Final ( 50 questions & 2 hr limit) comes from power points (some from previous quizzes). All online (including tests & final) 5 discussion posts (5 sentences & ask one question-gives 100 if you follow directions) 4 quizzes (Each quiz: 10 questions & 1 hr). 2 short essays & 1 major paper (nice grader). Don't plagiarize!

TAKE THIS CLASS! One assignment a week, could be as easy as a discussion topic. 4 quizes + final. 2 essays, 1 paper, and 5 discussions. Super easy and very interesting. You won't be sorry. A GPA booster for sure.

I can't emphasize how amazing his online class is. He's a lenient grader, follow the syllabus exactly as it says. Class consists of quizzes, discussion posts, one paper, two essays, and a final exam. Warning: You will die writing that 5 page paper. Besides that, attainable A! First online class that I'm going to walk out with an open mind.

I took Prof Brown Fall 2015. His online class is amazing! As everyone says follow the syllabus and you will do great! I have never enjoyed an online class as much as this one. As long as you do the work exactly how he wants it you are guaranteed an A. Would recommend it to all! Take him you will not regret it.

He was tough but well worth it

Philosophy is a hard class in general. So if you are looking for an "easy A professor" you need to find a different subject. Professor Brown is extremely helpful and his directions are very clear. You have to read, study and write a lot but if you do then work then an A is attainable.

Simple. Read. Do the work. Participate in discussions. Exam comes straight from all notes. I could have easily made an A, but I missed an essay do to a serious family issue. Other than that, I'd advise you to take the class.

This class could be an easy A. Just follow is the calendar. He gives u step by step instructions on wut he wants u to do throughout da week. I promise u, if u follow dis exactly as he requests u should make an A. The essay does have 2 b specific w/ analyzing the existence of God and why we make errors.

He does not steer from the syllabus. Anything and everything you are required to do over the course of the semester is laid out perfectly for you on the syllabus. The workload for each week is small per week and he gives multiple weeks for the research paper.

Professor Danny Brown is one of the best professors at HCC. He is not a though grader. He grades you for what you do. It was a great class. You must take him for philosophy. It will be a breeze. I promise.

Great class. Easy to make an A if you do the work. He responds pretty quickly to emails. It's great material if you are looking to learn some interesting stuff.

if you read the papers, powerpoint and put logic in the essays you will do great. I had some awesome feedback on his papers. Discussions are fairly easy and quizzes if you read the material. I currently have a 96% a final exam and 2 discussions to go confident to get an A . The class is not overloading very picky about plagiarism!

Didnt use any books... most were available online or cheap pdf. 1 paper... read all fine print... he has info on annoucements and then syllabus... its everywhere... so just check evefywhere. Took it online and was an easy A Dont have to buy textbook he gives you powerpoints You have 4 disscusions board 2 short essay 1 quiz 1 essay paper 3 pages but you have to read the book Nicomechian Ethics. I didnt read it all but if you get the concept it should not be that hard and the final exam is easy Everything is due on a Wednesday.

I took professor Brown's first 8 weeks online class and I do not regret it one bit. I would take him many many times ahead. He has VERY clear grading criteria. He presents you with all you have to do, mini essays, discussions, and one major paper. His slides are awesome and I love the feedback he gives. He made me actually like studying ethics!

If you need a philosophy course, take Professor Brown. You don't need a textbook, he provides everything you need with his slides and a few reading assignments. Just get your discussions and essays in on time and enjoy the class. The course is a super easy A. And he will reply to your email within a day if you have any questions or comments.

Professor Brown is one of the best teachers Ive taken at HCC thus far. All you need is to study the power points, (Very clear and easy to understand) . Grades fairly and gives you good feedback as to why you received that grade. If only all professors were this way Id definitely take him again

Easy assignments, powerpoints, and nice professor.

Reason why I got a B+ instead of an A is because I procrastinated on the essay and left it last minute. But if you do your work and turn everything in on time you should get an A. Easy class and few assignments.

Follow the syllabus. DO NOT plagiarize. Study. Three discussions, 3 quizzes, 1,000 word research paper, 1 3-paragraph essay, and a final exam. He is not the friendliest over email but he responds within 24 hours. I would absolutely take him again. Luckily, I do not ever have to take another philosophy class again.

All his powerpoints were straightforward. All of the quizzes and discussions came from the powerpoints or a short reading, but they were easy. There is one small paper and one big paper to write, but he is an easy grader. Final is 40 questions timed 2 hours. 10/10 recommend his class, by far one of the easiest professors that I have had.

Professor Brown has a very a very simple online class. 3 discussions, 3 quizzes, 2 papers (which are very easy) and the final exam. He is an easy grader and is very helpful if you ask questions. His quizzes are based off of the ppts and readings and the answers are in the ppts and readings and sometimes he asks very simple questions.

Summer 8wks. easy A. 4 discussion easy 100 no need to respond to others. 1 short essay easy 100. 1 paper 1k words graded super easy 100. 2 quizzes and final answers on powerpoints.

Took Professor Brown for my summer mini semester and it was super easy. Opens all the assignments for you to work ahead. He explains everything very well on his Syllabus one of the best professors I've ever had.

Ok, I am not used to rate my professors because I don't really care BUT professor Brown is really easy. Do the homework, read the rubric for the two essays (really easy prompts), read the documents he provides before doing the quizzes and you will be easily getting an A

Easy A. I took this class for Winter Mini, and I was scared at first, but I could finish everything in 10 days as the assignment was open and very well explained. I loved it. highlyreceomend

Easy class and it was a mini session I took which was 4 weeks. We worked on our own pace, just make sure to turn in every week's work Fridays on time. The quizzes we took after the pps were open note and so was the final exam. It was all easy and from the pps like literally. Also like 3 discussion posts that were super easy.

He was amazing for my mini summer course all assignments must are due friday it was online anytime he easy and striaght forward and overall made my summer course easy and not stressful definitely take him if u wanna pass with an A

Mr brown was very funny and his exams were very easy. Took this as a summer course, only 7 assignments. Everything was open book. Super easy class and very much enjoyed not having to stress.

His lectures are PowerPoint-based and very well organized, making everything easy to understand. He grades quickly and gives fast feedback. I 100% recommend taking his class.
