I have Dara twice HESC 400/BIO 320. She is great. Really wants students to learn and always ready to help. She made the days fun and I loved her classes.

FUNNY LADY! She's so nice and her class is very easy. The homework isn't much and you can do it right before class with no problem. She understands that students get stressed out and she lets us relax in class sometimes. Lectures are always fun and you barely have to go to class to get a good grade.

Her lectures are stumilating. The examples she gives are all real data, and make you think about your own health habits. Great sense of humor. She knows how to keep the class interested. Confident and organized professor. Well prepared for class.

Dara is one the best teachers I have ever had. Our class was at 8:30 in the morning and she has great enthusiasm and love for what she teaches. She is one of the most understanding and caring teachers you could ever have. Her class is easy.. you have a few projects but they are not that bad.. had alot of fun doing them... Is a great calss to take.

Dara is one of the BEST teachers at CSUF. She loves her students and only wants the best for them. She always takes time out to let you close your eyes and meditate. The subject is on Children's health, so it's really fun. Easy class, just have to study for the midterm. Projects are really easy too. She usually gives you credit for effort.

Dara is fun and full of life and energy! She is amazing to watch and fun to listen to! I recommend taking any class she is teaching. You will not be disappointed!

Easier class I have ever taken by far. Her mid-term and final are from her lectures. Most of the material is easy to remember or is just common sense. A few assignments but not that difficult. Do not buy the book.

Interesting class

Do all your work and it's an easy B. 1 huge project that you work with your group the whole semester and at the end of the sememster, a presentation is expected. A lot of little assignments, but that's easy. Her midterm and final, the class got an average of a C. Teacher's really nice, happy and super bubbly.

Dara is an amazing person. Her class is fun and very easy. You get to use the book on tests, no notes. I would reccomened getting the book because of that, but perhaps not the worksheets, because we only used a few, my advice is go halfs with a friend and just photocopy them. If you don't take this class your a moron.

Dara is...let me put it in one word....Gnarley. She'll help you when you need it, she'll talk to you about any of your problems, and she makes the class SO fun with her up-beat attitude. I seriously wish all professors were like her. I might actually take this class again just for****s and giggles.

Crazy, fun teacher who admits to being a bit zany. Likes to make lots of jokes, mostly about sex and death. Lots of in-class work. Tests are open book but a bit tricky. Tons of opportunities to get points. Missed a group presentation and still got a B.

had one test and it was extremely hard and not open book. avg test score was a D+ i think. test and homeworks were worth about 60 points. group presentation was worth 130, so your entire grade is dependent upon group presentation. make sure you have a good group or youre screwed. only 5 people got an A in the class.

Great teacher. She knows, how to do jokes. She got great sense of humer. She is competent and knowledgeable. I defenitely recommend her. God bless her.

Awesome teacher with an up-beat personality. She is also very nice and helpful. Lectures can be boring sometimes but she makes them better with her jokes. Her exams aren't too bad. The project requires a lot of work & effort. Make sure you choose your group wisely! She grades pretty fair on the project so just make sure you do well on her exams.

She was the sweetest professor I had since I started college. Open-book exams, power points that are straight forward, projects that are fun. I would recommend her for a class she's very energetic and fun.

Online. Each week you read a chapter (1-hr worth or reading at most), take a quiz on it (Multi Choice and T/F), and post a little something on the discussion board about the chapter. Super easy class!And quite interesting. Professor is easily accessable. Highly Recomended!

Online. This class is pretty easy and if you read the powerpoints and skim through the chapters for about 10 minutes and you'll get an A. The class is really THAT easy that you don't need to read. Make sure you do the weekly discussion boards and take the weekly quizzes on time. The final was a 30pt quiz (weekly quizzes were worth 20 points).

online. I thought this class would be way easier since I have taken many advanced science/nutrition classes before. she tests on randoms things and statistics you can only find in the book. quizes each week (15 min. w/ 15-20 questions) + discussion board weekly which is easy. assigns 1 essay.

The class was easy, make sure you have a good group or else your in trouble, the group project makes up most of the grade, she takes random attendance that counts for points which are hard to make up since there are few assignments and NOTHING can be turned in late , rarely used textbook, exams online and more detailed than lectures, use textbook

You don't think you'll need the book, but you need it for the exams. The exams are a little hard and everyone I know struggled with them. Do really well on the group project, it's pretty much the entire grade. Class had random attendance points. Dara was an awesome teacher and I'm really glad I had her. She was really helpful.

I took this course online and it was a breeze. She is a wonderful person. I had her for HESC 101 and she was absolutely a caring, loving teacher that wanted to see her students do well. She is the reason I took the online course, and I passed it easily. She is one of the top 5 nicest teachers at Cal State Fullerton hands down.

I had her as my HESC 400, 358 and one other that i forgot. She is an extremely helpful teacher. She answers emails promptly and her class was easy as long as you payed attention. I had her online class as well and it was easy. Content was easy to grasp because of the way she presented it. Overall I would definitely reccomend her.

Arguably one of the best HESC teacher there is on CSUF Campus. Online class consisted of midterm, couple db (around 8), quiz (15) and final.

Try to share a textbook with someone if you can for the midterm and final. Pay attention to things you have to submit online. Boring subject. It's more of a creative thinking class. Too bad it's a core requirement:( ALWAYS ATTEND CLASS. She doesn't post powerpoints online! and she gives points for attendance!!

Super easy. Quiz and discussion board every week, and two tests. I recommend reading the text book because her power points doing cover everything on the quizzes and tests, so don't rely solely on her power points.

Good course, not an easy A. There is little margin for error to get an A, although I did get one barely. Discussion board for first 11 weeks, and a quiz every week plus two midterms. Not difficult but you are given a very short amount of time to answer all questions. (10 min for quizzes, 50 for exams). Overall, good prof. and class.

Dara is a very kind, caring, teacher who cares about her students. She gives lots of examples so students grasp the main concepts. She learns all the students names and will send reminder messages about assignments. Take her for this class if you can.

Class was interesting but not necessarily an easy A. There's one huuuge group project and 2 exams. Prof Dara is really cute and quirky and tries to help her students succeed. She gives lots of examples during lecture to get the big picture and teaches it in a way where you can definitely understand.

Pretty easy GE course. There is a 10 question quiz every week, followed along with a discussion board post and 3 replies to other people's discussion board. It is fairly simple and easy. One midterm and one final. They consists of questions that were on the quizzes. Really easy and simple. Definitely would take this class again.

Professor Vazin is a professor who really cares if her students succeed. Her lectures and instructions were sometimes unclear but just email her as soon as you have questions and she tries to get back to you. The class is self was mainly the group project with two exams, discussion boards, and some assignments. Not hard but not too easy of a class.

I took her Spirituality and Health class. This was by far my favorite class in college. I learned a lot about myself and life. She has guest speakers, great lectures, powerpoints on mind, body, soul connection. There's a midterm exam and a few papers on yourself and reflection papers on speakers. Highly recommend taking this before you graduate!

Professor Vazin is super sweet and although there are weekly discussion boards and quizzes, it is not anything students can't handle. She does a superb job at notifying students of due dates (although they are clearly stated in the syllabus) and is quick to grading! Expect to have to log online a few times a week, but don't be discouraged by that.

Loved this course and professor! highly recommend. There are a few writing assignments that are very easy to do, we have mediation sessions almost every class. Very inspirational. Take it! you won't regret it.

Tbh I procrastinate a lot and am not a fan of big readings, so I do the bare min and I still got a B+, she's very clear on what she wants. Discussion posts & timed quiz every saturday based on that section. The quiz questions are based off the book so you HAVE to read/skim. Pass the quizzes, do the discussions, other quick assignments & easy A/B

1 to 2 chapters every week, plus watching/listening to a lecture.15-minute quiz for 15 questions at the end of each week, true/false or multiple choice; based off the chapters more than the lectures though. Professor is pretty accessible. Overall, this course was alright, just your typical health class. Just do the work and it's a simple A/B.

I honestly came into this class thinking I was just doing it for credit. However I learned a lot through this class and was really interested in our lectures even though they were online. Not a hard class, but definitely learned a lot and left the class feeling inspired to work on my health.

Easiest and kindest professor. This class was fairly easy as most of the information was common knowledge. You have one quiz and one discussion post every week. These were both super easy and it was overall a very chill class. I would 100% recommended her to anyone looking for an easy and chill class to get credits!
