Darien Hall is very knowledgeable, however it sometimes seems like she expects you to be just as knowledgeable as her. Her lectures are mostly great, but sometimes you can get lost being bombarded with scientific terms that you do not yet know, if you do not grasp the concept. Her tests AND quizzes are really tough. If you ask for help, she helps.
This is a tough class and she expect you know a lot. Tests and quizzes are very hard. You have to study and prepare but she will help you if you need it. Lectures could be very intresting. Content clinics are not very helpful but if you want to pass you have to make sure you know everything off the ppt. Does not test from the book.
Professor Hall is not a professor I would take again. She never knows the answer to any questions regarding the topic, speeds through lectures, and has no empathy for her students.
She is very funny and always willing to help and answer questions but the class was very challenging.
Darien is funny and her class can be exciting, but I honestly felt myself struggling to learn anything. We basically sat in class to have her read off powerpoint that we have online. The only reason I mainly came to class was for participation because it was needed. The tests and quizzes are okay but going into BIO202 I needed to relearn everything
Dr. Hall sped through the lecture material. 75% of the class was up for us to learn for ourselves. She didn't seem to have a heart for teaching and was very hard to connect with.
Darien was probably one of my favorite professors my freshman year. She was tough and you had to work for your grade in the class but all together you could tell she cared about you. Se always would always help when you needed it but she wont give you any free bee's ;) She was very funny throughout the class and wants us all to pass.
This was a very hard class but Ms Hall made the information very interesting. If you don't go to lecture you will miss out on participation points. She does not test from the book only from the power points. I am taking her again for 202.
Coming into this class I was terrified because I had heard how difficult it was. Prof. Hall made it enjoyable, interesting and was always clear on what she expected. She isn't an easy professor but if you're willing to put in the work to succeed, you will. She is always willing to help. By far my favorite professor so far.
Dr. Hall is an amazing professor! She is very clear on her expectations for her class, and provides schedules of her availability outside of class if there are any further questions. She prepares students well for quizzes and exams. Study guides and terms lists are required for participation points. She is approachable and lectures are interesting.
Dr. Hall is one of my favorite lab instructors at GCU! I had her for both BIO 201L and BIO 202L. She is energetic, spunky, and extremely smart. She really knows what she's talking about, so always ask her lots of questions. She loves to help students realize their potential and never misses a moment for encouragement.
Dr Hall is not very approachable. Not empathetic. Not understanding. She is a ridiculously tough grader. Would not recommend her for something like patho. She is smart though, and wont let you forget it.
Professor Hall is my favorite professor at GCU! She helped me learn new methods of studying and still talks to me to this day and makes sure I am on my feet! Her class requires a lot of studying because it is physiology but you will need that knowledge in the long run. 100% recommend her!
This was my second class with Dr Hall and I am so glad I had her again. She is always enthusiastic and happy to help you succeed. She made my GCU experience amazing.
Dr. hall is a great teacher!! She wats to help you and tries her best to make sure you succeed in class and life. She is knowledgeable and well versed in pathophysiology! I would take her again. Side note: this course in general is really tough so prepare to work hard and study your butt off. I got a 4.0 in this class but I worked extremely hard!
Hall is an excellent choice for Pathophysiology. She is knowledgeable, has great lectures, and is not afraid to throw in some humor in class. Hall cares about her students and is always accessible outside of class while also promptly responding to emails or forum questions. BIO-322 is a difficult subject, so be ready to study a lot.
Dr. Hall is one of the most hard working professors at GCU. She commits her times to her office hours and is in those designated hours. She always has positive feedback and is very personable. Loved her in this class and would take again.
I am so happy I had Dr Hall for pathophysiology. She is very clear about the expectations for the class and really pushes her students to succeed. She is super funny, smart, and caring. You are lucky if you get her for a professor
She is extremely helpful and nice. She is engaging and energetic while lecturing and teaches otherwise dry material in an enthusiastic way. She knows her stuff and will gladly answer questions during lectures as well as in office hours. I felt as though her tests were straightforward and all material that was tested on she covered in class.
Dr. Hall is an amazing pathophys teacher!! Probably one of the best I've had so far at GCU. She definitely keeps you on your toes with the quizzes and exams, but going to office hours helps a lot! She is very accessible and does her best to ensure that we understand the material.
I LOVED Professor Hall. She is an amazing teacher and really cares about her students. She does a really good job of making sure you understand the material and will help during her office hours and in class. The course itself is not easy no matter what teacher you have. This class requires A LOT of work and studying to succeed.
Professor Hall was AMAZING! She was hilarious and always willing to help. If you go into the open labs when she is working, she gives hints about what she will be testing you on for exams. Bio 202 L is tough no matter who you have, but Dr. Hall makes it bearable and fun! Get her if you can!!
She is a good teacher but is more the type to read off slides then actually teach off of them. There are times where she does teach and others learn the material well enough to do good on an upcoming exam.
Prof. Hall was an okay professor. She reads off the slides a lot, even though she says she doesn't like to. She also lectures fast, so you have to get used to taking notes differently in her class. Her tests are difficult, but if you go to office hours and study and you should be fine on the exam. Her office hours are SUPER helpful/important.
Dr. Hall is a fantastic lecturer. She gets to know her students and checks in on them. She explains topics well and is always looking for participation whether it be answering questions that she asks during the lecture or kahoots/poll everywheres. I would absolutely recommend that you get Dr. Hall if you can.
Senior level course on ethics. Dr. Hall is super supportive and her biggest interest is to give you feedback and prepare you for life outside of college. She is available outside of class. She will make you put in work for the class but she doesn't want to make your load heavier than it needs to be. She is very understanding.
Shes a great professor! I would definitely take her class again!
Attend class and dothe review guides! You will have four exams in BIO-210 plus participation andTHAT is it, so don't unnecessarily lose points for being too lazy to go to lecture. Dr. Hall is awesome and cares about her students plenty; she's willing to help at any time. She also gave hints on what would be on the exam after I went to office hours.
Dr. Hall is a great professor! Her lectures are fantastic and detailed, just a little fast. She is very kind and truly cares for her students. She answers all the questions you have throughly. There are 4 exams but she provides study guides for every chapter. As long as you THROUGHLY complete them, the class will be a breeze.
The best anatomy teacher I have ever had. Her PowerPoints are great, her lectures are great, her feedback is great. She's also really funny
No matter what professor you have for BIO-201 you need to put in time outside of class to be successful. Dr. Hall provides study guides that are exactly what's on the test, so if you study those you'll get an A no problem. She'll always help you if you're confused about a concept and she genuinely wants you to be successful.
Hall is good choice for teacher, whether it is anatomy or patho or any other course. She is a headstrong woman who also gives her students the best bet. She tries really hard in her classes to do her best and it is inspirational. There are times she was a bit confusing, but overall a good choice for professor. Very fair!
She is a good teacher and I enjoyed the class. There were a couple occasions where she would introduce a topic and not be super clear about it so I had to take with one of the IA's and he was always able to explain things clearly. Also, there are several review guide's that need to be done for her class for participation points.
Dr. Hall is an amazing professor, I had her for Bio202 as well as Bio322. She really wants her students to be successful and will help you in anyway that you need. She explains topics really well and makes sure you are prepared for exams. She also makes lectures really fun and is always cracking jokes.
Dr. Hall really cares about her students. This class is a pre-req for nursing, so she wants you to take it seriously (which you should). She has office hours and is always welcoming to students going to talk to her outside of class. She wants you to ask questions in class and to really just stay on top of things. She's also super funny!
She makes you work hard which is a skill all Pre-Nursing students need . Shes such an amazing professor Im sticking with her for all the classes she lectures that I may take. Take her to guarantee success and help.
Professor Hall is an amazing teacher. She is super witty and entertaining and makes a lecture go by quickly. She also prepares you well for exams by use of review at the end of classes. She is really good at making analogies that help to understand.
His class is all around difficulty with any professor. Hall made me want to show up to class. She cares about her students and gives great life advice. I would take her again for any course! She was one of my favorite professors.
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Most entertaining teacher to listen to. Genuine personality and tells you what she expects in your papers and on the exam.
Okay I took entry freshman level bio. Yes there is semi a lot of work but if you do it i guarantee you'll pass the class with a good grade. I love the way she teaches and never be afraid to ask questions, she loves them. Usually responds pretty quick in the private forum. Definitely recommend!
I took BIO-201 my first semester of freshman year with Mrs. Hall. I love how she printed out the powerpoints for each student. It really helped narrow down the concepts and helped explain what to study. She did a good job explaining the concepts to us. There is a lot of studying involved so be prepared, and make sure to attend office hours.
Dr. Hall is by far my favorite professor I have had at GCU! I had her for BIO201, 202, and now for patho. All these courses have challenging material that takes time and effort to learn, but Dr. Hall makes learning it so much fun. She is caring, funny, and wants you to succeed. Her office hours are so helpful too. Take her if you get the chance!:)
Darien Hall is a very caring and nice teacher however, she doesn't explain slides in much detail. I studied on my own and never went to class and got 90s on the last 2 exams. Participation points also matter a lot, so do the case studies and testmozs for points. Hard class overall, find a different pattern of studying!
Dr. Hall was not my favorite professor. She only reads off of a PowerPoint and doesnt really explain anything. Attendance is key in her class if you dont go, you definitely wont pass her class.
Professor Hall is a very good professor. This is a hard class so you definitely need to put in the work to be successful but she is very easy to access outside of class and will go over the material with you. Also do not skip her class because she lectures heavily and there is a lot of participation.
Dr. Hall was a really good professor. It was always clear that she wanted her students to succeed and was willing to help students when they needed it. This class is tough, so it requires a good amount of time outside of class in order to be successful. It's very test heavy which is what the majority of your grade is based on.
I love her! She is so nice and funny. Of course, this class is not an easy A. However, she does Kahoots during class. Some of the questions on Kahoots are on the exam so make sure to take notes :) She also has office hours almost every day and is willing to help you if these hours don't work for you. Take her if you can :)
Professor Hall is a great teacher. This class has a lot of reading and several writing assignments that she is willing to help you with if you go to her office hours. She is very understanding and caring for her students.
I absolutely LOVED Dr. Hall. Yes, it's Bio 202. Expect to work hard if you want to do well. Her lectures were fast paced, informative, and included many jokes. BUT she always left LOTS of time for people to ask questions and she never made anyone feel stupid for not understanding. She also made a real effort to learn a lot of students' names.
I had Dr. Hall is a really easy person to listen to and she explains thoroughly, if you have questions in class, she is more than happy to try and explain, and almost always has office hours available. I barely passed with a D, but that is more of a reflection on me as I am a HORRIBLE test taker. Overall, though, she was really good
TAKE HER!!! She is an AMAZING professor. She knows how to teach effectively. I loved her and wish I could've had her again for BIO 202.
She is very knowledgeable and interacts well with her students. The part I struggled with was she very much just reads off her PowerPoints and I am a more interactive learner and need to be kept engaged but she is definitely a great professor for those who learn like that!
She wants you to work hard, but she is very caring and helpful. I was super panicked about capstone, but she made it a very simple class in that she broke everything down and made it manageable. It is a very heavy assignment class especially in the begging but she made it easy to get everything done.
5/5 !!! 110% recommend taking her if you have the chance! I took her for 201 and 202, can definitely say she is the reason I enjoyed taking this course. Grade is based on exams, attendance is necessary in order to succeed, DO the review guides!! I love her, will def try taking her for patho :)
I have taken two classes with Dr. Hall and both have been great. She is a very caring and intelligent professor who is ready to help you with any questions you may have. However, if you learn better with more interactive professors I would suggest taking someone else because I definitely had to learn a lot in my own time.
Dr.Hall wasn't the worst however she reads off the power point so much I feel like she jumps around and She expects us to know what she's talking about She is very nice and understanding She is just hard to keep up with and won't let you catch up but then again we pay all this money for our teachers to just read off power points we can do ourselves
This professor is was great. I really enjoyed her lectures and my time during class. I do wish we did more activities to help us grasp the material during class time besides just going through slides and doing review guides. She does do kahoot and quizzes on review days which is helpful though
Professor Hall is by no means a bad teacher, but she is very hard to follow as she only reads off of the PowerPoints. However, she is very knowledgable in what she teachers and always there for any confusion.
When teaching lectures she will make sure you remember certain things by saying jokes and being goofy. I liked her class environment. She will prepare you for tests as she grades her study guides bi-weekly. She is very fast pace and lecture heavy.
She goes through material SO FAST and it is very challenging to keep up with the material, but as long as you study what's on her slides, you will ace the tests. She offers NO extra credit or late work. I would take her if you want a knowledgable teacher for anatomy (it will be hard regardless).
Dr. Hall is amazing!! I loved that her lectures are so much fun and keep me motivated and involved the whole time. She also holds reviews before every exam and wants you to pass, the tests can be difficult but with the materials given and support, you can do good! :)
Dr. Hall made BIO-201 easier to learn and actually fun. She was interactive with the class, drew things out and was just really helpful overall. Going to her office hours really helped and I would recommend going just in case you have one question. She will make sure you understand the topics and she really cares about her students
Professor Hall was extremely funny and clearly knew what she was talking about. She used good explanation of ideas to help you remember topics. She is very lecture heavy so don't miss any class otherwise you'll fall behind.
Dr. Hall made learning anatomy so much easier. Her lectures typically last an hour and almost always end in a kahoot. The homework, participation, AND STUDYING is super important so stay on top it!! Her grading expectations are made clear at the beginning of the semester and she really cares about her students and doesn't want them to fall behind.
Dr. Hall was amazing! So sweet and genuine to her students. Her lectures are very clear and concise. She also loves to have fun and joke around with her students. Definitely useful to go to class and listen to her lectures. Offers lots of resources to help study and to help students learn the course material.
This is class is not hard but is very very boring. I did not interact much with Professor Hall but it seems as though she is nicer to some students compared to others. The times I did talk to her she was not the nicest to me, the grading is easy though so I didn't mind. I also wrote the huge final paper in one day so don't freak out about that.
Professor Hall was probably my favorite professor I have had so far in college. I went into Bio 201 thinking I would be confused most of the time but she knows so much about everything she is teaching and has a true talent when it comes to lecturing in a way that makes it click in your brain.
Professor Hall is an amazing teacher! She is kind and caring for all of her students, she loves to get to know them well. The content of the course can seem a bit intense but she makes lecture super fun and enjoyable! Make sure you attend class and complete the review guides she gives out as those will really help you
If you have BIO202, I definitely recommend taking Professor Hall. She is amazing and provides excellent lectures that will help you succeed in her class. Make sure to complete her review guides as those are super beneficial for her tests and attend class. She is super sweet and caring, I promise if you have any questions she will help you out!
Super awesome professor. She made a difficult subject easier in my opinion. I hope to have her in the future because she made learning fun.
I LOVE DR. HALL! She is such a sweetheart and she is an amazing teacher. She cares about her students so much and it shows. I learned so much in her class that I will apply to my professional medical career. Her class isn't easy but it isn't hard, I would say she is perfectly fair. If you work hard, you will do well! Highly recommend her!
Dr. Hall does her best to help her students succeed. Throughout the semester she provides Kahoots to test your knowledge and help direct your studying. They are very helpful. Her lectures are a little boring but it's a lot of information and it's hard to make it more interesting anyways.
Dr.Hall was an amazing professor! She was very knowledgeable in her studies and always answered questions. Her humor was appreciated and was very good at explaining concepts and knew when to work with students more on a topic (hence the Kahoots). Would take her class again!
I just have a different learning style then how she taught. If you do the review guides you will do well in her class. I didn't learn that until later on in her class.
Dr. Hall is an amazing person all around. I had her for BIO-201 and actually learned a lot. She makes sure her students understand the material, but she expects them to also reach out when they have questions. Her office hours are super helpful and she gives really good feedback. Do the review guides, draw, go to her office hours, and go to class!
Dr. Hall has been my very favorite professor I have ever had. She takes the time covering material in a way that makes sense to us, and that is also very entertaining. She was always very engaging and took the time to notice and be attentive to each student. She is extremely kind and each day you could leave class knowing you learned something new.
Dr. Hall is a pretty good teacher, I don't know what all the hype is about respectfully. She goes through lectures so fast you basically have to go over everything on your own just to get a basic understanding about it. It depends on your learning style, and be prepared to study 24/7 for the exams because they are your grade.
difficult course but the instructor is very friendly and genuinely cares about each of her students. if you do the review guides and show up to class it makes the class easier.
Dr Hall is the best teacher ive ever had, she is so kind and funny. She is great at teaching her material and helps students connect to what they are learning. she deeply cares about her students and is there to help. She does Kahoot reviews every class and a larger review before each exam which is helpful. Class is fully graded on exams so study!!
Dr.Hall is amazing, caring, and intelligent. Provides review guides for every topic and tells you what to specifically look over for a test. Gives great lectures and very knowledgeable on the topic. Takes participation but does in class Kahoots to review everything from the previous class. Overall a great professor and would take her class again!
I love Dr. Hall! She cares about her students and helping them succeed. Her lectures are long and informational, but her teaching methods are very engaging. Participation is very important, stay engaged, go to her office hours, join a study group and you'll pass no problem! I am so excited to be a returning student of hers next semester.
I absolutely loved Dr. Hall! She is very knowledgeable. Her tests are difficult but are meant to make you think. She wants all of her student to succeed. She does reviews the beginning of the exam week which is very helpful. My only critique is her review guides, she makes you draw things and that is very hard for me. I also am taking her for 202.
I love Dr. Hall!! First, I thought she was a tough professor. However, she is quite literally the best as you get to know her and continue to go to her office hours. Highly recommend!!
Dr. Hall is amazing! She is very knowledgable and really cares about her students success. Participation matters and is a decent part of your grade. The tests are pretty hard, but she does a good job of telling you the material that will and won't be on the test. She also has study reviews outside of class to help you see what you know. TAKE HER!
Dr. Hall is the PERFECT balance between credible lectures and engaging lectures. She's equally intelligent and fun. If you participate in her daily Kahoots, study the review guides, and utilize her office hours, you will definitely excel in this class! The content is difficult, as sometimes lectures are quick, but she maintains clear expectations.
By far one of my favorite prerequisite nursing professors. Knows how to get through the info quick while also making memorable ways to learn the material. She takes her job very seriously with the ability to make lectures fun (including BIO 201 & 202). She also feels easier to create a connection with on a 1 on 1 level a a student. Would recommend!
I've had Dr. Hall for 201, 202, and 322, and there's a reason for that. She is SO knowledgeable and she will give you all the information you need. She is also very caring. While there is a lot of material, it is super interesting, so it makes it easier to absorb. Ask any questions you have and make sure you go to class.
Dr. Hall is such an amazing person and I was fortunate enough to get to know her as someone other than my teacher. With that being said, I would not take her class again if given the option. Although brilliant, her lectures are full of information that is never on the test. I did get an A- in her class, so if you want the A+, go elsewhere.
Don't get me wrong, Dr. Hall is a very sweet lady, however I hated her teaching style. She is a very smart lady but she just reads off slides for EVERY class the entire time and then makes you do something for participation. Her teaching style just was too hard for me to understand and I felt like I had to teach myself a lot.
Dr. Hall is a great person. However, she is very fast paced during lectures so I wouldn't recommend her if you prefer more slow paced class. This class requires a lot of understanding concepts rather than memorizing. Tests were difficult if you did not understand topics. It's important to get help and attend office hours rather than self learning.
Save yourself: do not take this professor. She provides little help for exams and rarely gives out any extra material to study for the exams, such as the Kahoots. It seems like she does not make any more effort than she has to and is just on "auto-pilot" during lecture. Also, she uses a name wheel to call on people and definitely has her favorites.
She teaches way too fast and just reads off the slides. Doesn't provide any helpful resources. Participation matters and she uses a wheel of names to call on random students. Teaches as if we know everything already. Doesn't review for exams. Makes you complete the review guides for credit. Isn't very clear what's on the exams. Has her favorites.
Dr. Hall has an amazing personality, but her teaching style is very inconvenient. She goes at a fast pace and doesn't provide helpful material for the exams. She won't post kahoot's from class either. Doesn't spend time explaining any concepts because she has an expectancy for us to know prior to class or something. switch out.
course material is difficult, professor doesn't make it any easier in class. hard to focus when you speed through slides and don't give much practice/study for the exams. just not my learning style!
Dr. Hall goes through her slides at a fast paced and she does provide review guides however its nothing like her exams.
I love Dr. Hall! She was super funny and out of pocket, which made lectures fun! Highly recommend, however all of the A&P professors seem to be amazing as well!
Dr. Hall wants her students to succeed. She is there for you whenever you need help. She is easy to talk to and cracks funny jokes. She is also a good mentor and wants the best for you. I recommend taking her!
Hall is the best. She is funny and she makes it interesting. I don't know what others are talking about saying she doesn't review for tests. She does lots of kahoots and gives exam reviews outside of class that she posts so you can practice. Anatomy is hard no matter who you take, but Hall really seems to care about her students.
Dr. Hall is a great professor! Her lectures, for the most part, are easy to follow along with. She requires that you do the study guides and submit them for participation. She also does reviews before the exams which are so helpful. She does a lot of Kahoots which help you grasp each concept better. She's great!
Incredible professor, always encouraging and a great lecturer.
I wouldn't recommend taking her. she reads off slides way to fast and the kahoots are endless. they help but that was all the teaching she did tbh. She also told someone to drop out and forget their dreams because they got a 60 on the first test and calls students disappointments IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE CLASS. the IA is super sweet though and cares!
Mrs. Hall moves very fast in lecture and it is hard to take notes and retain all of the information. However, as long as you know all of the review guide material, you should get a decent grade. She hosts many review sessions and does a lot of reviews before tests. I like her, and am taking her again for 202!
I absolutely recommend Dr. Hall. She makes jokes and relatable references for the material that she teaches, it makes the information more memorable. There is a lot of studying involved in this course but Dr. Hall as well as her IA provide a lot of help with this. They give several quizzizz, kahoots and videos to help for the exams. LOVE HER!!!!
Difficult class with an even more difficult teacher.
Difficult course in general but Dr. Hall put me at ease. She had good lectures that included humor to help us understand the material. She provided us with a ton of review material and truly cared about us and made sure to highlight important facts that would be on exams. Grades are pretty much solely dependant on the 4 exams you take, study lots!
hands down the best professor to take for Patho. She explains materials very well and is very caring. Tests are very straight forward if you prepare well. Very approachable and her quizzes/ kahoots help so much.
I took Dr.Hall for anatomy one and two, and for patho. I absolutely love Dr.Hall and she is an amazing teacher. She lectures very well and makes it entertaining. Lets you know what to focus on for tests and provides plenty of review material both in and out of class. Would recommended anyone to take Dr.Hall for as many classes as possible.
Professor Hall is a great professor. She is very caring and wants you to succeed. Her office hours are very helpful. She is very knowledgable and explains the material very well. I would 100% recommend taking from her. No matter whose class you take it will be hard, but Professor Hall makes the material easier to grasp.
Dr. Hall's class is challenging but engaging. The lectures are informative, though fast-paced. Staying active in class, using the review guides, and accessing unstuckstudy for study prep can really help you succeed.
Dr. Hall is amazing, she is a great knowledgeable teacher, and she really cares about her students. She sets you up for success and wants to help you get there. This class takes a lot of work, but she made it bearable. Take her!!
Dr Hall is very knowledgeable about what she teaches you can tell she has had years of experience in even researching what she teaches. She is a chill fun teacher. Bio 202 is not an easy class so it is very lecture heavy but that will be the case with any teacher you take for this class. She is amazing at answering questions well.
She was a very caring and knowledgeable instructor. She does a great job at breaking things down in a way that we can understand, as material in anatomy can be confusing. She also made lectures fun! The class itself is hard and depends on you memorizing the material and doing well on tests, but this goes for any A+P class, not the instructor.
She is a very smart person, and is engaging, but she doesn't know how to teach dumb people. Which sounds stupid, but she's so smart that she doesn't know how to teach people that don't understand the material/hasn't ever heard of the material. She just goes over slides and expects you to know.
She is really smart and gives lots of good advice on how to keep your grade up.
This professor made this class so much more bearable. She was always so approachable and told us what we needed to know for the test. She actually taught us instead of just reading off the slides. She answered questions and didn't make you feel stupid for asking them. You do have to show up for class because she does do participation!
Dr. Hall is an amazing woman with a good heart. However, unless your a smart, easy to catch on topics type of person, I would consider a different professor. She is a very smart woman and zooms through her slides and over-explains, confusing students, and just overcomplicates things very easily.
Prof Hall makes A&P so fun to learn and she prepares students so well for tests and tells us exactly what we need to do to be successful. The people who dropped the class or failed didn't listen to her clear instructions and tips. Be prepared to put in lots of time and effort for exams but her class is so enjoyable and honestly, easy.
Dr. Hall is kind, encouraging and genuinely cares about her students, but I struggled a lot in her class. School has always been hard for me, but this class had me stressed out the whole semester. She also seems to over-explain the content, so if you have a hard time learning fast, do not take her. Again, great lady, just a really hard class.
At first, she scared the crap out of me, but now I could not love her more! She is awesome and so smart in this field. Even though lectures move fast (they kinda have to) she gives us so many resources to use outside of class and makes studying super easy. She is the GOAT and I will be taking her again.
Dr. Hall is an amazing person and very sweet. She tries to make the class as easy as she can however it is a difficult course. She host exams reviews, and provides exam kahoots. Attendance is important and so is participation. Her classes never ended early and were very lecture heavy As long as you stay on top of everything you should be fine!
Dr Hall is a very sweet, kind and caring lady. A&P is a very difficult class and she gave lots of materials to sudy with and gave you hints of what's going to be on the exams. The class is a lot of studying, but her lectures helped compared to the subs we had when she was sick. Participation is all Kahoot quizzes, and she posts them to study with
She is so amazing. The class itself is hard but she explains it the best she can with detailed slide shows that give you everything you need. The study guides are helpful as they have all the info you need to know for the exams. She's very nice and cares about all of her students.
Overall, she's a really caring, nice teacher, but personally, I would not take her again just because she rushes through everything doesn't take her time on each slide and I was told by multiple people that are graduating not to take her class I wish I knew this sooner so I would've found a professor that actually enjoys teaching the material.
Dr.Hall was easly one of my favorite professors that i had the honor of having!! She is amazing during lecture, if you have a question even if it is simple she will explain it to you until your confident in the material. She is super easy to get a hold of. wether that be through office hours or emails.
I love Dr. Hall. She is so amazing
She was a great professor. She takes up the whole class period and she takes participation points very seriously but as long as you come to class you will receive your points. She gives you plenty of resources for exams such as kahoots and videos. She is very funny and gives great mnemonics and different ways to remember the content.
Dr. Hall is very knowledgeable, if you take her lectures you will see that she know a lot about anatomy and physiology. Additionally, she gives amazing resources such as practice questions which are REALLY effective. I think with her class, you need to review the lectures beforehand otherwise you will fall behind.
Amazing teacher, I took her for Bio101 and highly recommend! She clearly states what is on the exam in lectures and through powerpoints and her exam reviews are super helpful as well. This class is hard but Professor Hall makes it clear what is needed to succeed :)
