Excellent professor, loves for students to interact in class. Enjoys joking around with students but will take the time out to help students. U should register for his classes if you can. Also Easy on the eyes....

I'd recommend him to all students who want to take GUST 1270. There will be bunch of assignments though n he will make us write a notebook, but the assignment are easy n very useful for ur future! I took him in this first 8 weeks of spring '12. As long as you study the book and do all of his assignment correctly you will absolutely get an easy A

Love this teacher! He is very funny but also very strict when it comes to his rules but what teacher isn't ?? I took him only because i had to retake Learning Frameworks again (i failed the first time when I took Professor Adrian Brown) and it helped so much. I learned way more the second time around with Baskin. I def recommend this professor.

Fantastic Professor! I actually switched my major to psychology because of this Professor. He Made it so interesting and made me want to learn more about it. He definitely knows his stuff. He's brilliant in keeping his students interested. A great teacher makes a world of a difference for a student. If we only had more professors like him!

He's a great teacher all you have to do is read the book for each chapter he tells you and pay attention plus participate in class for a grade.

Dr. Baskin so far has been my favorite professor. Do not take this class if you are a slacker he will call you out. If you do your work then you will have a wonderful time in this class. There are a lot of group assignments so if you are not people person sucks for you .... you will not pass.

Dr. Baskin is very nice and funny, he treats students with respect and forms good relationships with them. He sometimes even brought food for us! The classes were mostly lectures, and reading the book really wasn't necessary as he went over the chapters in class. You will write a big paper at the end, but he grades easy.

I LOVE HIM! he's a no sugar coating, straight to the point teacher & YOU WILL LEARN. he brings class down to earth and makes you want to participate. his lectures are long but he's not dull or boring which is a plus. tests are not hard, but you must study. group work, 1 or 2 papers, and a couple of in room assignments. dope teacher, easy A.

Dr. Baskin is a great teacher I recommend people to take him. Yes you need the book and you need to read it. It's required and essential for you to pass his class but it's worth it I swear. You'll learn some interesting things in his class. He explains everything to you in a away you'll understand . He expects you to be on time and respectful.

If you need an EDUC professor, pick this one. Honestly, the class changed my life. Tests are EASY. They're the exact same questions from the online assignments, just do the online work and read and you'll pass. Chapters from the book are short, like no more than 10-15 pages per chapter. Easy A. Be on time, but if you're late 1 or 2 times he's ok.

Dr. Baskin was a great instructor. He helped his students and made sure that you learned the material. Mr. Baskin gave his students great advice that would carry them through their educatonal experience at the college. I would recommend his class to anybody you will love him.

Dr. Baskin is the best! It was a summer semester, so there was a lot of reading. And he does check your notes. He is great at teaching. the tests are only hard if you don't study at all. He does assign online tests from mypearsonlab, but they are easy and solely based on book chapters.

Dr. Baskin is a great professor! Before taking this class I read the reviews and I saw all those "easy A" so I thought I wouldn't need to study much. WRONG. You have to study/memorize the online work to pass this class. Honestly. Plus, the Textbook is a must! He was so nice to sell one his old student's book for 40 bucks only. + He's very honest.

If you are new to college,ensure you take this tutor. I misjudged him at first, but in his class, you will learn to get rid of pre-judging(reading and living). He integrates all students in class and is easily understood. Overall, although he talks a big game, but he is commendable. I repeat Take This Class !!! Thank me later.

Best professor ever ! Just respect him and he will respect you. Always engages with everybody and tries to help whenever possible. He is basically a professor that can be your best friend. If you work for it, you'll get an A, simple as that. 10/10 would take him again.

He is really funny professor and you are going to learn about life a lot in his class. While you need to read all chapters to get successful on test. Tests are not easy if you don't read the book. Dr Baskin is funny. 1 presentation with group about a chapter in the textbook, 1 research 4 full pages of your career ( he is a tough grader on papers), make sure read book to pass the test ( very critical thinking), poster is just an option but have very big extra credits. Taking his class at noon sometimes has food for free. Lecture is just relax

I had him for an online class. Everything is laid out and simple. He responds to emails generally within 6-12 hours or sooner. I completed everything weeks ahead of time. Assignments that aren't for a grade are CLEARLY marked, just don't do them. Homework is easy, just common sense questions mostly . You rarely need the book. Easy A.

Great Professor! Took him ONLINE... He does give assignments online, discussion with a group project. I passed with a B, as long as I turned in the work by due date, but if you email him he will let you submit it anyways.

Just pay attention and do all assignments and you'll be good. LOTS OF READING but all worth it, (very interesting and clear material) clear grading, very clear on assignment instructions, friendly, and will answer any questions. would take any of his classes.

Easiest class you'll take.. A lot of work but nothing that is hard, if you make time for the class you will pass. Easy to reach by email, may take a while to respond but always gets back with you in time.

Dr. Baskin's class was the best class that I had at San Jac. From day one the class was full of energy and fun. He is the type of professor that you want to attend his class. Every class we had good laughs. He is somewhat sarcastic but he does it to keep us entertained and engaged in class. I would definitely take him again. I had a lot of fun.

Hey guys. No book is needed! Focus and read to stay on Task! assignments are NOT hard. MAKE FRIENDS. When a semester starts PLEASE do your work ahead of time! Other than all, professor is chill! I would rate the class a 8 out of 10.

Weekly works was not difficult. There will be 3 major assignments and 3 exams. Make sure you follow professor guidelines by the tea to get a good grade. All exams are open note no lock down browser, but it will be limiting time. Overall, it not a difficult class but you still need to put in work to get a good grade.

I took Dr.Baskin's Sociology 1301 class, and it was a really easy class. There were short quizzes every week and discussion posts with no crazy requirements. You can tell he really cares about his students by how accessible he makes his information for online students. I would definitely recommend any student to take him.

His work is very organized and straight to the point , you are able to work ahead ! You do have short discussions post but nothing insane , his exams are open notes . You do have to put in some work when it comes to the writting part but I promise you it's nothing that a college student couldn't do . TAKE HIM HE IS AMAZING!!!
