I HIGHLY recommend taking her as a teacher! She is super interesting, cultured and really knows what she is talking about! She loves what she is teaching. Tests are long and somewhat difficult, but I don't find the info hard to memorize. She really wants everyone to learn and is just overall a really awesome teacher. Definitely take her class!!!!!!
Do NOT take her as a professor! She tries to get the class sooooo interested, but really no one cares. Most people are taking the class because they have to and she can't see that. Tests are realatively hard. There are better and easier professors out there.
This professor is extremely difficult. I would study for many hours and still only receive a C on her tests. The first thing she told us when we got there was that we'd be "lucky if we passed." DO NOT TAKE HER! However, the only positive thing is that she is a really sweet person.
Unless you are an art major, don't take this professor. You have been warned.
Prof. Hale is a great professor! Her guidelines on a couple aspects are unclear, but she is actually lenient on those points. She offers over a hundred bonus points through the semester, which helped me make an A, and when she accidentally misgraded my essay, she went back and checked when I asked about it. I'd highly recommend her.
One of the first things she said was,"You'll be lucky if you pass." It didn't matter how hard I studied, I ended up with a C on every single test. The only reason I managed to get a B was the generous extra credit she offered. Hale reads off her slides and goes on tangents. Not an enjoyable class at all. It's extremely boring and stressful.
This Professor is very difficult. DO NOT TAKE her unless you are very knowledgeable in events and places of events. She will spend class running through the slides at lightning pace and expect EXTREME knowledge of details on the tests. I went in as a junior taking my last few required courses and it was very stressful and exhaustive.
This professor is very difficult. If you dont know everything from music to artand everything in between DO NOT TAKE HER. She is never available. She does not emai back and her assistant isnt either. she does give alot of extra credit though.
This class covers a ton of information but if you study and do all the extra credit you should easily make an A. She makes the class interesting and is very helpful. The extra credit helped me bump my grade up two grade letters. Those complaining about the class were probably just lazy. This is a great professor.
It's simple, avoid this class at all cost..
Go to lectures and use the book for your review and go over the slides she puts online, and you'll be ok. She gives A TON of extra credit. You'll be fine.
You will learn a lot through this class but the tests are really hard and require A LOT of studying and reading. She offers a ton of bonus points through the semester, which helped me make an A. But there are other prof. that are a lot easier for Intro to Fine Arts. I don't recommend her
Horrible teacher. Impossible timed tests. Tries to be funny but is not. Boring class!!! Requires a ton of outside of class work. If you don't do all the extra credit there is no way you will pass. Thinks everyone loves music. Makes you pay for your attendance points.
She is a great teacher. If you attend her class you get extra credit. She gives extra credit like crazy. even if you do bad on the test the extra credit helps!!!!!!!!!!!!
I read all of these before I took the class but I couldn't change Professors. I tried really hard went to class everyday and studied... lets just say this is the WORST teacher possible. DO NOT take her class at all cost. Very hard and timed test, offers some extra credit just avoid this class and find an easier teacher!
Hale is a great professor. She really wants her students to pass and gives extra credit like crazy. The subjects might be boring but she really tries to engage everyone. She loves the arts, so she teaches like it. She isnt monotone, and she totally gets where the students are coming from. I would recommend her for anyone.
Professor Hale is probably the sweetest teacher I've ever had. She is pretty straight forward and cool. Her Intro to F.A. class is a tad bit difficult for a freshman, but she gives SO MUCH extra credit that if you don't at least get a B in her class you should feel bad. The exams are online and they are kind of tough, but manageable if you study.
Professor Hale is the best professor I have has at Texas State. She is really nice, her tests are easy and she is very passionate about the arts. She really wants to see her students pass. Attend class because that is the only way you will know about the TONS of extra credit opportunities! Easy GPA booster class.
Prof. Hale really cares about her students. Her quizzes are timed but hard. Her lectures are straight out of the power point. She gives out extra credit like crazy. I failed all of her quizzes but ended up passing her class with an A+, because of extra credits. You HAVE to attend class if you want to pass her class and earn extra credit.
I honestly think she does not want to be in class when she lectures. Not a good teacher.
Professor Dale makes this class so easy for her students. She gives so much extra credit throughout the semester. I strongly recommend professor Dale for anyone taking 2313
Prof Hale is a very good instructor to take the mandatory Intro to Fine Arts classes. At first take, class seems overly difficult (tests are surprisingly challenging), workload seems too much but so, so, so much extra credit. Course is 1000 points total, she gave out 250 extra credit points so even if you're daft, you can easily pass, maybe an A!
Very very easy class. Good teacher who offers soooo much extra credit. Made like 98 and even got a 50 on a test. Take hale!
She does not care. Very poor musician. Underqualified private teacher. I should not have come to Texas State.
The most undedicated teacher I've ever come across. Her lectures are not prepared and extremely boring, her tests are unreliable and unfair, she is NEVER in her office during her office hours (between my classmates and I, we've knocked on her door at least 30 times during her posted office hours with no response). She needs to stop teaching.
I took Mrs. Hale for Intro to fine arts (required), Its not that I'm not interested in art but I was raised by an Art Major and all he does is talk about art so I went into the class not so thrilled. But she is a great professor overall, lectures can be long and boring but this class is an easy A with all the extra credit she gives.
I love Professor Hale. She is so passionate about what she is teaching and having her students be successful. She takes attendance but it does not count against you if you miss. Her lectures can be long and boring sometimes but it's best to attend. I made 70's-80's on her tests and still made an A+ in her class because of all the extra credit!
Professor Hale was great. She gives out ton of extra credit worth big points and it can save your butt. She really enjoys her job and you can tell by her lectures. Her class was fairly simply. Although, we had pay to take tests which was completely unnecessary. But I would take again. Her test are a little tough but the extra credit will help!
She could be an ok teacher if she really, really tried. But she is a disgrace. Her attitude towards her students are insulting. I now know why all bassoon teachers said stay away from Texas State. Bassoonists, don't come to Texas State as long as this teacher remains on faculty. She does not, and will not care at all about your career.
Professor Hale is great. Had her for Intro to Fine Arts. She's great at making her lectures interesting. Her tests are tough but she puts out study guides/test reviews that really help. Projects/essays are interactive & interesting and she gives plenty of time to complete them. She also gives a ton of (pretty fun) extra credit. Would recommend her.
I learned so much more than my friends that took this class in other sections.
I loved Hale!! You can tell she is really interested in what she teaches and has such a passion for art. Her tests are tough but she gives reviews/study guides and sooooo much extra credit! Go to class because she has given extra credits to everyone there on certain days.
I really enjoyed professor Hale. She is an amazing teacher. The class is not hard at all to make an A in and you will learn a lot. One of the better teachers that I have had at Texas State. Def recommend her! She also gives extra credit, and for things that add to your learning experience in her class!!
Personally, Hale is extremely kindhearted and warm, but she is not a great teacher. I've studied art & music for 10+ years, and found her lectures inappropriate, begging for attention, and politically incorrect at times. It's a shame to miss out on truly amazing subject material, her lectures sound like the gossip rags & tabloids of history.
TAKE PROFESSOR HALE. She gives a crazy amount of extra credit. You could fail every single test of hers and still make an A because of all the extra credit. She's such a sweet lady who is super passionate about this course and truly want to teach her students. Best professor I've ever had. You'd be crazy not to take her.
TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!! Hale really tries to make this boring fine arts class as interesting as possible. Tests are online and you don't have to go to class on that day, she has days where she doesn't schedule class so students can go to art museums, and she gives SO much extra credit it's unbelievable. Did i mention there is no final!!!
She makes it clear that she is passionate about what she does. Even though I wasn't too interested to begin with, she made me find it interesting. The tests are difficult, but she makes up for that through extra credit. I would take the class again just to hear her lecture.
Hale is a very nice lady who loves what she teaches. I just found her lectures to be boring because the subject didn't appeal to me. The tests are online and can very stressful due to the fact there isn't much time (60 minutes to do 80 something questions), but you shouldn't have a problem passing because she gives TONS of extra credit.
TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! Hale is an incredible instructor. I have no interest in fine arts, but this class was my favorite this semester. Her lectures are interesting and you can tell Hale is truly passionate about art. She gives a ton of extra credit, like a TON. Exams are online and you don't attend class on exam days. Very caring toward her students
All of her test answers are given during her lecture. You have to print out the slides and write on them during class. You do have to go back and look at the pictures and listen to the songs on the slides but other than that her tests are online and fairly easy if you pay attention in class.
I love Professor Hale she is the best. Her test are challenging but they have an extra class to go over the review. Totally would take her again and she gave tons of extra credited.
This professor gives out insane amounts of extra credit. I'd call myself a slacker and I got an A by barely going to class. Trust me, if you want an easy Intro to Fine Arts, this is the class.
She is an awesome professor and offers a lot of extra credit. There are four online tests - study the book and her powerpoints. There is also one critique paper and if you show effort and complete it, you'll make an easy A. Classes are really interesting because she's really passionate and she occasionally gives extra credit if you come.
Tons of extra credit, but you've gotta work for it. Lectures are mostly interesting. Online tests are hard but you can just use your notes. You should not fail this class.
An amazing professor! She made a mandatory core class that has nothing to do with my major very enjoyable. She gives insane amounts of extra credit! Her extra credit is not on paper, instead she uses extra credit to encourage you to get out and enjoy art. I got so much extra credit that I made a 126% in her class, and I made B's on all the tests!
She is very passionate about what she teaches. Her test are easy as long as you go to the review session and do the study guide! She gives out so much extra credit I made over an A! Love her. Definitely would take again
Do all the extra credit she offers!! It's the only reason I got an A. You will need the extra credit, trust me. Her tests are hard unless you actually WANT to learn about the history of art.
Daris is a mom and gives motherly advice often throughout the semester. She cares about her students and also cares about art. She gives PLENTY of extra credit. You could pass the class if you failed everything and just did the extra credit. She's honestly a thoughtful being though and I would suggest her to anyone needing a fine arts credit.
Only grades In the class are 4 test, and the final exam is an essay. All of the test are taken online and outside of class but they can be difficult. It does not matter though because there is so much extra credit offered its impossible not to make an A unless you don't do any of it. Very nice professor!
Online tests, LOTS of extra credit opportunities, Overall great professor. Wish she taught other classes!
Attendance is not mandatory. 4 exams and your final exam is an essay which is easy. If you go to the study sessions then you shall get an A on your exams every time but if you don't then you're making it hard on yourself. I would take her again. Extremely nice person! BY THE WAY..... TONS OF EXTRA CREDIT!!!!!!!
Don't buy the book. Online tests (use science forums) tests are difficult, but since they're online you can get an A if you use your resources ;) attendance is like ... "mandatory" (find a group of friends and take turns going because theres usually an attendance code) but i don't really think theres a penalty for skipping loll
Occasional online quizzes, but no homework. She is such a free-spirited, kind-hearted person and appreciates when you go to her lectures. Overall, a generous professor and would highly recommend!
Prof Hale made a boring intro to fine arts class super interesting. you can tell she really cares about what she's teaching and even if you could care less about art she respects you. tests are super easy if you study and she gives extra credit!! 10/10 would recommend
Very sweet. All tests are online, and you take them at home. I got the textbook which I really never used. All material is online. SHE OFFERS A LOT OF EXTRA CREDIT. With all the extra credit she offered, my grade went from a C+ to an A. Go to study sessions the Student Assistant offers, because they basically give you all the answers on the test.
Daris is a sweetheart, and is enthusiastic about her material. That said, she knows most people aren't interested in her class: she takes attendance, but as far as I know, it isn't factored into the grade unless it comes to rounding. She will occasionally call out students for being on their computers, but besides that she was a pleasure.
TXST has a horrible rule that every student has to take an Intro to Fine Arts course. However with professor Hale she made my life so much easier. Everything besides exams are given for extra credit. This was the easiest A I have ever made. Just put effort into getting your stuff done and you will do really well. Also, the tests are online.
FREAKING LOVED PROFESSOR HALE! Literally the easiest class I've ever taken at TXST. She's such a sweet person with good intentions. She really cares about her students so don't be afraid to email her or talk to her. Don't get the textbook (its useless), sit in the front of class, and do the review for the test and there goes your A for the course.
LOVE HALE!!! Graded by 4 online exams and a critique paper ( based on 3 different art forms). she's really passionate about the material and gives extra credit basically everyday. for a class you have to take, you might as well enjoy it right?! TAKE HALE!!!
Loved Professor Hale! If you show up to class you will pass. Textbook is not needed. Do the reviews before the test and you will get an A. Do not have to go to class on test days. Offers a lot of extra credit!
One of the most intellectual professors I've had!! She has traveled everywhere so she knows a lot and makes lecture less boring with stories. Textbook is expensive but buy it off of EBAY a lot cheaper than the bookstore. Textbook and quizlet will be your best friends during the ONLINE tests she lets you take at home. Textbook needed for art pics.
Professor Hale cares a lot by the fine arts and you can easily see it makes her happy to teach about it. She gives a lot of extra credit opportunities that seem weird but definitely pay off if you do them. Has one big paper at the end of the semester but can be avoided if you have enough extra credit points. Assistant takes attendance everyday.
Prof Hale is funny and engages class discussion/creativity, very passionate about the arts. However, this class is generally boring. She reads from PowerPoints that are online so class is pointless but attendance is graded. Tests are all online. Field trip to Dallas museum takes place at the end of the semester.
Prof. Hale is the BEST!!! test are online (everything on quizlet) only 1 paper (critiques) they are very easy to do. has extra credit opportunities almost every week. technically attendance is mandatory because you have to get a code from the TA. Not a very hard class. totally worth taking her class
Dont get it confused with everyone elses posts. Hales class is sooooo boring. Shes passionate about class Ill give her that but it gets pretty boring. Her tests are nowhere near what she talked about in class. I signed up to take music and all we talked about was art. If I wanted to take art class I would have signed up for art.
Prof Hale is the best anybody who says this class is boring & hard, they are probably the people that dont show up to class. Test are long but they are all on quizlet or do the reviews which help a lot. Extra credit every week (most times is to just take a picture of something) and she has fun art challenge everyday. The critiques are easy to do.
Hale was a nice and caring person, but her class was super boring and is too much work for an intro to fine arts. Tests are online but they are pointlessly hard and long. Attendance is mandatory and would change the attendance code if someone left. Lecture was boring. Plus she has these art challenges that are dumb and annoying.
Professor Hale is amazing. I honestly didnt care for the course itself but she made it as interesting as possible. This class is easy if you pay attention, and she give plenty of extra credit. In other words, if you fail then you really gave zero effort.
Easiest A if you're trying to knock out your fine arts credit. Only problem is class is mandatory and will effect your grade if you don't go which sucks cause lectures are BORING. All her exams are online and there's no final. Super sweet lady though, I recommend.
Professor Hale is an AMAZING professor. She clearly understands that we are all not music majors, but defiantly LOVES what she does. Does take attendance, but gives a CRAZY amount of extra credit!! lectures can be a bit boring, but tests are online and you don't have to go to class on test days. such an easy A
This lady was so nice and tried her best to make class fun. All tests were online and you take them at home. Any other work was extra credit. There was so much extra credit available you should definitely do as much as you can. I got a high B because I didnt do enough. Lectures were very boring in my opinion, that was the only bad part.
Take her!! Hands down the best prof. if you have to take a fine art. She understands everyone is not a music major and she loves her job with a passion. Her test are all online and a little hard, but she also gives ton of extra credit to make them up.
This class is an easy A. Highly recommend taking for your fine arts credit. The tests are online outside of class. They are challenging but there is a lot of extra credit. Almost 200 points worth of it. If you really need extra credit go on the Fort Worth trip for 75+ points.
absolutely loved this class! Professor Hale is so cool and funny and you can genuinely tell she has a passion for the stuff she is teaching. This class gave me a greater appreciation and understanding of the arts. The tests are hard but there is lots of extra credit so if you do the study guides and all the extra credit you will for sure get an A.
Where do I start with Prof. Hale? She is an inspirational and caring woman with a great love for the arts. She is confident and clear with what she expects from her "gentle art lovers", and stresses the importance of creativity. Her powerpoints are online, which is good bc she zips through them at lightning speed, but she is truly great! 100/10
Dont buy the textbook. Lots of extra credit. You have to go to a museum, classical music concert and a stage production and write a 2,700 words paper. Test are hard, but it helps to do the review or just look up the answers on quizlet. Tests are online and she cancels class many times.
Professor Hale is very entertaining & makes the course interesting even for those not interested in music. You are allowed 3 absences before it effects your overall grade. There are plenty of extra credit opportunities to help boost your grade. The TA provides reviews that are very similar to the test and most answers are from the textbook/quizlet
Daris Hale is a kind professor, who really cares, but at 9:30 am it was hard to listen to her lecture about art. The tests are extremely difficult, but you take all of them online in your dorm. The final is a long paper about your visit to a museum, concert, and play. Not a bad professor, just felt like she was asking a lot for an intro class.
The class is easy enough but she makes it difficult to get an A bc she takes off a whole letter grade if you miss 4 classes and half a letter grade for each absence after that. Theres a field trip for extra credit but you HAVE to pay 50$ even if you drive. Makes the tests unnecessarily hard and treats lecture like were in a childrens art class.
Professor Hale is very enthusiastic about her "gentle art lovers" and about art itself. Her powerpoints are online but a lot of material she says extra and is not on the powerpoints. Gives a TON of extra credit, take advantage of that. All tests are online at home. She goes thru the powerpoint slides fast so try and keep up and go over tracs slides
Do not listen to the reviews saying that the tests are impossible. As long as you do the review the tests aren't that bad. She is really cool and always down to help out her students. There is a long paper at the end but it is also not that bad. She also gives out TONS of extra credit that you should take advantage of.
lots of people say the tests are hard but with all the extra credit it's insanely easy to get an A. I wrote my paper over the 3 events about only 2 and got 100% still. she uses an attendence code instead of checking seats/students. I also don't understand there being a problem, 3 absences for a class that's cancelled a quarter of the time is PLENTY
It seems hard at first with the tests, but honestly I didnt do anything but the basic stuff in this class and did fine. Literally easiest prof ever.
Professor Hale's tests are not that bad. Just do the review and pay attention in class and you'll be fine. Make sure to go to class because she gives a lot of in-class extra credit. You have to go to 3 performance and then do a paper at the end of the semester, but it is not that bad. If you put in the effort you'll get an A.
She was almost aggressive with how passionate she was about Art but it made for a good class. Attendance is mandatory and groupme is not allowed but the classes were interesting. 4 tests all online open note. No final. Good class for fine arts credit and good teacher.
Honestly, you do not have to pay attention in lecture. Just do the review for the tests (on quizlet) and then just go to class. Do most of the extra credit because that what will take your grade to an A. The tests are kind of hard, but the class is super easy.
Hale was amazing! She is very knowledgeable and you can tell she's very passionate about the arts. The tests were all online and there is a big paper at the end. If you skip, it will drastically bring down your grade. The lectures were mostly just pictures and she would explain the historic significance/background. THERE IS SO MUCH EXTRA CREDIT!
Shes a great lecturer especially later on in the semester when the material gets interesting. The only thing is that there is SO MUCH work for the class the review sheet is at 2-4 pages long with most not being on the test. If you have a hard schedule you wont be doing yourself any favors adding this class. She also takes cheating serious beware
She is very passionate about teaching art, but her class is really easy. You will most likely make an A, B at the lowest. Shes really kind and willing to help on anything. I would definitely take her again.
Prof Hale is honestly a mixed bag. She gives a ton of extra credit, so the class is an easy A. If you don't want to read the textbook, the tests are borderline impossible. They are online so you can use note, but the time limit is so strict you have less than a minute per Q. If you miss more than 3 classes a letter grade gets taken off, so show up
She is a super kind, layback professor. Tests are online and at home. Her exams were challenging but not incredibly hard. Make sure you go to class because if you miss a certain amount of class, you will automatically fail. She gives a decent amount of extra credit opportunities too.
Very caring. Attendance was mandatory. Tests were okay not too bad. Final exam was an essay which she grades very easily. Would definitely take again!
She is very chill and laid back. She gives enough opportunities for everyone to make a high A in the class.
Great person just lots of work. Class is very study heavy.
It was an easy class; she gives you many opportunities to get a good grade. She is super passionate about the arts and tries her best to connect with her students not just teach. (The book and the assignments were all online). There is a long essay at the end of the semester but it really is an easy A if you do the work. Take Hale's class!
Hale is a great professor. She is passionate and gives good lectures. If you take good notes in class you'll pass. Lots of online homework through Cengage, but easy. Grades by points, so points you lose on tests or assignments don't hurt you, you just keep the points you did earn. Lost of opportunity to "get points" which is like extra credit.
Dr. Hale made this class really interesting I would definitely take her if you don't mind writing because there is a big paper due at the end of the semester.
Absolutely love prof. Hale! She truly cares about her students and wants them to succeed. Her class is point based and attendance is mandatory. Make sure to do your critique paper as it can make or break your grade. You do have to work for your grade but there is always extra credit. She is very personable and tries to keep lecture content current
Professor Hale is amazing. She truly cares about her students & music which made the class fun. Attendance is mandatory & theres lots of homework assignments over the textbook but they're super easy. Communicate with her if something is going on & she will work with you.
the easiest A ever, professor Hale is so sweet and every assignment is optional besides the paper at the end of the semester and your grade is determined by how many points you choose to earn.
Honestly such a great professor. She provides lots of extra credit throughout the semester, so don't stress if you don't do well on the exams. However, make sure to do the critique paper because this will make or break you (yes it is long assignment but you'll probably get a good grade if you complete all of its requirements).
she loves everyone and does a point system. tests are online and she encouraged us to use quizlet. lots of small assignments but they are optional and just help boost your grade, but again easy they let you guess as much as you want to get a 100. loved lectures but didnt relate to the test, she is so knowledgeable its amazing.
Professor Hale is an amazing professor, she does move fast during the PowerPoints though but she does explain things with funny stories to keep the class engaged. There is a final essay that you must write. All of the grades are done on a point system, chapter assignments are 3, tests are 150 and you need 900 for passing, extra credit is given.
I loved how fun her lectures were! She helped to engage with the class and regularly encouraged feedback. Exams were very easy and she gives so much extra credit. I ended class with a 116.
This class had a ton of extra credit but you basically were required to do it if you wanted to get an A. The textbook that the tests are based on is very long and detailed which can be difficult to read. Professor Hale was very engaging in class and she always had interesting lectures.
Professor Hale is extremely funny and makes class fun. All assignments are optional except for the paper, depending on what grade you wish to achieve. There are lots of extra credit opportunities as well! I would 100% take this class again.
This class was very simple and laid out for me. Being able to complete assignments on your own time is very nice. Overall a great class and professor. Super easy A!
I will never recommend this class, because of the final critique essay. Everyone has to go to three events that may cost money and write 900 words on each event. It is impossible. Unfortunately, this essay is the only mandatory assignment in the whole class. Overall, a worthless class.
Prof Hale is genuinely the best. She is so passionate about art and is genuinely such an interesting and sweet person. She offers a LOT of extra credit worth a lot of points from her concerts. The critique paper is a little tough, but this year we had an option to do videos, and it was graded very lightly. Favorite class by far!
I had this class at 9 am and honestly she made it very enjoyable. She gives so many inspirational speeches, and you can tell she truly means them. The lectures are very interesting but not too intense. She finds ways to connect her students to the art that she presents.
The professor uses a point-based system. Hale tells you the assignments are not mandatory, but if you want to pass, you have to do them.
The teacher is okay, but her lectures go up until the last minute or even above that. On top attendance is mandatory, she waits to do it at the end of class so no one leave before that even if you have class next. If you don't show up be prepared to fail. and when it comes to event videos get ready to pay for them to complete.
There is one mandatory assignment that you will spend money on, you have to make 3 separate videos on the locations of the concert/stage production so good luck if you have social anxiety. The tests are extremely lengthy and are all due at 6pm which is so inconvenient. More than TWO absences takes your grade down an entire letter. Super sweet tho
good professor she really cares about her students and her class was pretty chill and fun. Attendance wasn't mandatory but make sure to show up at least a few times. this class is also graded by points so everything is kind of optional but you have to make 3 videos
Very nice person who cares about teaching. The online course is very easy, all of the assignments can be found online. The only real assignment was three mandatory video reports, and you had to be on-site so be prepared for that, but they were easy and got an A. But in general, I can tell that she cares so if you can take her to any class
Dr. Hale is great, but the class is a lot of busy work. It's easy to get an A, but you will spend hours doing the assignments. They aren't hard, just time consuming. You have little time to complete the exam, 1 hour to do over 100 questions. The event videos are a hassle, but it does get you to see art and shows. Overall, easy A but with busy work.
I love specifically how she structures the online course. Once you get enough points for an A, you're done. Everything is open from day 1, and while there a large amount of assignments, you can squeeze in a small quiz while going between classes. LOTS of extra credit opportunities, so it's almost impossible to fail.
