Great professor! Very clear when explaining and enjoys answering questions. Make sure you study real good for her tests though and really understand the concepts well because you will do bad if unprepared. Oh for bio 121/226DONT BUY THE BOOK

She's an awesome teacher! She will do whatever it takes to help you understand the lessons. As state before, you will NOT need the book for Bio 121/226. The class is hard..a lot of memorization..but if you come to class & have her as a teacher..you'll definitley pass!

Attiah is gentle and cute when she speaks..very clear and helpful..Understands the high expectations of the class and of course she kinda hot..

I took Attiah when I repeat my Bio 226.. I got like A- or B+ because I need to get 92 to get an A. I enjoy her class and understand lessons very well. She reviewed us before class time. SO if you did not focus on the last class meeting, come early to her class for review and that's help. Extra credit on exams are helpful too to raise your grade.

Ok, first of all, I have never seen her give anybody any attitude ever. She is very nice and wants her students to suceed. She is easy to understand and does whatever she can to help review. I have no complaints and would take her for many more classes if I could. The class has a lot of material, so you will have to study but she is great.

Yes, I agree with most of the other comments except the one where they say she gives attitude, they must be confusing her with someone else because I don't even think she knows how to give attitude. As far as the class, bio 121 and 226 are both difficult classes in itself but she makes it better when it comes to learning the material, great teacher

This teacher is amazing. I am taking her for Bio 226 now and my average is 103! This is due to the fact that she teaches in such a comprehensible manner. I would recommend her to anyone. She wants her students to succeed and never ever has an attitude! I enjoy this class very much!

You must be prepared all the time if you want to take her class. You can ask questions any time you want, she will answer it with a happy face.

I think she's nice, I don't know if there is anything dramatically better about her class than any other though. I am in her class now and she does a good job explaining the material. I won't be taking her for 227 because her class is already filled but I'm sure whoever I end up with will be a great professor as well. Nothing bad to say about her

I love Attiah, she rocks! Can't wait for 227 in the fall. You don't need the book at all, she gives you all the notes you'll need and prepares you extremely well for all exams. Make sure you print out the study guides she posts on blackboard to study for the exams, that is the key to doing well in the class. She is great!

Best teacher ever! I had her for bio 121, 226, 227. Just study hard take good notes and you can pass her class.

This class is not easy, but she is very helpful to all her students and wants to see everyone succeed. Attend every class, do the extra credit, use her study guides, go to her with questions, and you'll do well. She never strays from exactly what you need to know on the exams. It's very easy to relate to her and her class is welcoming.

Professor Attiah is a very good teacher. I took 226 and 227 with Attiah and I got an A on both classes. If you print out he study guides and DO THEM you will do fine on the exams. The quizes are easy sometimes se even tell you what's going to be covered on the quiz. HOW EASY IS THAT????? This two classes are not easy,especially 227, but again Attia

I love her. Not only is she a sweetheart but she also explains everything really well. I love all the study guides and the lab folder she makes us turn in the last week of class. Uses visual examples. Very helpful.

Darlene is a good teacher. She's very helpful and thorough in her approach. Always willing to answer questions. Material is not easy but if you apply yourself you can get an A or B.

I am basically an "A" student but I am bordering between a B and C because they grade on a HIGH scale at Wright. 95-100= A, 85-95= B, 85-75 = C. She goes over the notes in detail & u really dont need the book. I used youtube videos a lot. You REALLY need to study if you want to pass. U must study the "function" of things not just the def. of it

Professor Attiah is such a great teacher! I was nervous, hearing the horror stories of this class. But, Prof. Attiah makes this class so interesting, and provides you with everything you will need (didn't use my book once!) She is very good at explaining and extremely visual! I loved this class! Taking 227 with her this semester!

I can see why some people are calling her unorganized. She's still young and new and I feel that she's not yet mastered the flow of the class for herself. However, that being said, she's a wonderful teacher. Her lectures are clear and she knows what she's talking about. I recommend her to everyone interested in 227 (since Rarick doesn't teach it.)

I dont know why anyone would get a bad grade in her class. Professor Attiyah teaches VERY WELL, and only tests you on the notes you've been given. No need for a book. SHe is very kind and helpful when you go to her office. She's funny and sweet, & pretty active with clubs and stuff at Wright. She loves students and is always willing to help!

She is the best Biology teacher I've taken. She is really helpful and we hardly used the textbook..we mainly used the Notes. Attendance is needed cause she does go over alot of info. She updates Blackboard weekly. and offers some extracredit which is a life saver (make sure to see her in the office atleast once..easy 10pts). Just pay attention.

She is a very easy going teacher. You can tell she loves her job. Very easy to approach. Her study guides are very useful and quizzes are easy. She does give extra credit. Try to be on time quizzes always done right at time of class.

You have to try very hard to fail her class!!or not to get an A! She makes it sooo easy to understand. Quizes and exams are from your notes. No need for textbook.Keep up with colorings -easy 50 points for portfolio, in addition to some extra credit. I enjoyed her class cause she made everything so clear and easy to understand!

She's very helpful and makes sure that everyone understands the concepts she's teaching before moving on. I would love to take her for Biology 227 but her classes are all full. I'm hoping that some people will drop out so I can have her again.

I hated Anatomy, but LOVED Prof. Darlene. Go to class with the lecture notes she provides, ultilize the websites, fill out the exam reviews & do the extra credit. She was my favorite professor so far. treat her with respect and she will show the same respect.

She's intelligent but sometimes she pause and think if something is missing from her notes. Does not use much analogy on the subject like professor Gunderson that uses them a lot. Life experience is more helpful when your teaching Biology and incorporate them in the teaching. Darlene doesn't have much. I fall in love with her truly. Brilliant!

Good prof. Knows AP well, answers all questions, helpful, everything you want in a prof. Relys on images in the book and you need the lab manual notes for the test.

Attiah is very organized. She makes clear what is expected to know on the exams. If a student has a question, she thoroughly explains it to the class. On the other hand, some of the ways she explains concepts is confusing, and the notes provided can be confusing, but she will enthusiastically explain it to you.

Her class is always full so surely she is a good professor. Just following her lecture before exams and you have no worries. Highly recommend.

She was a great teacher! She does a great job at using outside sources to help you understand the material. If you study your notes and go over the study guide you will pass all her exams and quizzes.

Professor attiah is an incredible teacher ! she definitely knows what she is talking about when it comes to bio ! because of her I have grown to love biology ! she is clear on everything and well prepares you for exams ! not an easy course but if you come to class everyday and pay attention there is no reason not to get an A++! Great proffesor I can't complain she was very helpful specially if you need help with any subject in the class she will try her best to explain you. This class is hard regardless so it's better if you take it with someone who know well the material. I recommend her!

Very nice prof. She wants you to pass her class and will help you understand the material. She provides study guides, follow it and you will sure pass the test. She also gives quizzes at the start of class, but if you follow the lecture from the prior class you will not have a problem passing the quiz. extra credit points if you are willing to work

She provides LOTS of resources to help you do good on exams and to understand the material. Also, takes the time to go over lab workhomework to check answers... which I found very helpful.

I absolutely adore Professor Attiah. She really cares about the well being of her students. While the material is difficult, her lectures are clear and concise. Lots of opportunities for extra credit. She is absolutely one of the best teachers I've ever had. Attendance is mandatory if you want to pass, and I highly recommend going to tutoring.

If you are planning to transfer to a 4-year institution, you better take her class in Anatomy. Her exams are pretty challenging but that is most likely the setup in the university. She is the kindest and one of the best professors at Wright College. I highly recommend her.

Solid choice. She's a tough grader and she makes you work for it, but you'll understand it's for the best. She's nice and approachable, but also very direct and firm. Very articulate and clear. Knows her stuff. Lecture heavy, but she makes it bearable. Quizzes every class. Bonus quizzes and extra credit is offered. Tests are tough. An 8/10 overall

She is the best of the best . Her lectures are university level. She knows her material very well. Extremely organized, her exams are very difficult. However, they are base on what she covers in class . Note: her classes get fill in one day . If you are planning to go nursing school, she cover anotomy & physiology incredibly well.

Favorite Prof! Gives you all the study guides and diagram packets, so no need to print them out on your own. I've never had a prof provide so much to help a student fully understand the material. Lots of extra credit opportunities. Reachable outside of class, always responds to emails, if you study like your supposed toand tutor you will get an A.

She has very thorough lectures, so don't skip class because you will miss a ton of information. The labs suck, but that is not her fault, its the schools fault. Just pay attention during class and study a bit before tests and it will be an easy A. She also has a funky accent and pronounces some words weird but is very easy to understand.

Attiah is the best biology professor at Wright. Her lectures and notes are great! Attend class. Don't miss class because you will miss a lot of info. I don't think a 4.3 rating for Ms. Attiah is enough. If you are lazy don't take her. She makes you take a lot of notes and gives you amazing booklets that are extremely helpful for testing. She is one of the most genuine professors ever. There is a quiz every day. If you want an A, try to get a 6/5 or 5/5. The exams can be tough, so you need to study how to take them in her format. You need a binder, period. Lot's of handouts and can be a lot of material. Do the study guides and lecture notes to get an A. You have to WORK for it!

This professor is the best professor I have ever had! She is well-organized, knowledgeable, incredibly inspirational, and kind to her students. Exams are not easy, but 100% fair. It's A&P1. It's a lot of info. Quizzes roughly every class except Exam days. Extra Credit is available via Tutoring and Within quizzes & exams. Lab portfolio should be done properly. Don't blow it off. She's a great instructor. Don't miss class.

Professor Attiah is the best. Anatomy 226 & 227 are not easy courses, this professor breaks everything down so you understand. There is a 5 question quiz every class, but you will realize this will help you! I was so reluctant to take an online class, ESPECIALLY anatomy! but it was very do-able. She pre recorded each lecture and each was very clear. The next class day, she would go over the previous lecture and helped us fill in the study guide. She also gives the final study guide by chapter for extra credit. Her power points were very easy to follow

I took bio 226 with professor Attiah and even though taking a science course during summer was challenging due to time constriction, professor Attiah manages the time properly. Pre-lectures are provided so you can get ahead of the following days lecture. I will be taking bio 227 with her during the fall semester. highly recommended

Although attendance isnt mandatory, it does help to attend. Pre recorded lectures are available. Considering it was a summer class, the time spent on each unit was used properly. I am taking her again in Fall 2021:)). Assigns labs that are very helpful toward understanding the unit.

Professor Attiah is one of the best professors I've had! She truly cares about her students. She makes sure to answer every question, no matter how long it takes. Her lectures are prerecorded which is nice so that you can watch and rewatch at your own pace. If I have the chance in the future, I will definitely take another class with her.

It was a difficult class because it was material heavy. Professor Attiah really cares about learning the material. She would even make time to meet you outside of class. Attend lectures, watch the videos, do the extra credit tutoring and you will be fine. It is a hard class, but if you do everything you are supposed to do you would do well.

Professor Darlene is a excellent teacher, is very committed to her students learning explaining you as many times as it is until you understand it. before each unit she leaves us a video so that we can see it and understand the concept long before she teaches it, and even for homework we have those Videos to better understand. These are hard classes that require a lot of work. If you're looking for an easy A, look elsewhere. Here you need to apply yourself and study a lot. great professor made course like a piece of cake, she had a study guide contain questions she answered them with explanations. all exams from study guide. I was proud being one of her students. I got 100 in final cause of her efforts.most important thing is attendance and participation in class. I wish she has more classes I will choose her again.

The class had a good amount of work for each week, however, Professor Attiah is always very helpful, responds promptly, and grades fairly. The content is very interesting and the labs relevant to what is being taught. I can see the applications and lessons learned in every day life. Be ready to stay on top of the work. Very glad I took the course!

Only thing I didnt like is that she wont let exams on brightspace to show your wrong answers, you HAVE to meet w/her after class which is inconsiderate of students time.

The prof. is wonderful! PPT slides are brief, but you should to listen to lectures. No textbook and no homework. Quizzes & exams weekly, all from what she teaches. She gives review sheets. Labs are graded quite detailed, and late work gets deducted point. Lockdown browser is used during exam, but we all should have integrity whether online or not.

This is not an easy class but Professor Attiah is always happy to meet with you outside of class to help discuss the topics. She has very in-depth lectures that cover the material and gives you a breakdown each week of what you should understand the tests/exams. Take this professor if you are looking to really understand and learn the concepts!

She is a wonderful professor, she truly cares about each and every one of her student's she is active in the classroom and gives you wonderful examples, she understand if something goes wrong and gives you a whole week prior to the lecture to finish your quiz "only 1 a week" and your lab at home! She's Amazing! One of the best professors.

Personally, I thought she was very nice and understanding. I had her for an online course and she was understanding if anything got messed up during a lab and takes into consideration that students make mistakes. She wasn't a harsh grader and replied to emails fast, and was always very helpful when answering questions.
