I went into this class with a negative attitude, but Professor Lynch made the class interesting. He is very passionate and super helpful when approached. The tests were real easy if you went to class. Highly recommended!
He was great! His lectures are interesting and if you go to class, he gives a chunky outline of notes that are the exact same topics on the tests. Also gives study guides, super easy quizzes (IF YOU GO TO CLASS), and the tests are all multiple choice and basically memorizing vocabulary/concepts. He's also super funny.
Dr. Lynch is a cool and easy prof. Really easy non-accumulative exams that are based more so on memorizing terminology than anything, one short essay, about 15 "surprise" quizzes that are very easy and sum up to 30 points of the final grade and allow you to get up to 15 e.c. points! Attend class every day because he doesn't post his slides online.
Professor Lynch is awesome. Tests are easy, 50 question multiple choice, about 80% lecture, 20% assigned reading. Tests are basically memorization of vocabulary and the examples he gives in lecture. Gives 15 "pop quizzes" but they are very predictable and easy as long as you were in class for the lecture. 3 tests, no final. 1 easy article review
Dr. Lynch is an excellent instructor, TAKE HIM! He is straightforward with a perky attitude and overall a good person.
Very very easy course. His lectures can be a bit boring but they are pretty interesting. His tests are basic trivia and on random days he gives out 2 question quizzes that I can do in my sleep. Take this course if you want an easy A!
EASY! His tests are very straightforward as long as you pay attention and take good notes. I managed to make an A on every single test and made a 100 on the paper. I definitely recommend Lynch. 10/10
Lynch is an easy prof. His tests are over the lectures and if you study, you should get an A. There are also books assigned to read and he pulls questions from them for the test, so I recommend reading them. Not a hard class, but does require some effort.
easy. Come to class, his tests lecture. pop quizzes in the beginning of class, 2-questions over previous lectures/assigned reading. dont have to purchase the books or read, just take good notes on the outline/topics he goes over the day he goes over the reading. went over lecture notes and night before test, A on test. One paper, grade booster.
Go to class and take notes and you'll pass. Study notes a few hours the day before the exam get an A in the class. Pop quizzes are 2 easy questions and you get a point for writing your name. One essay that doesn't take long once you sit down and do it. Doesn't use e-campus so keep track of your own grades. Overall a laid back and easy A class.
15 pop quizzes that are 3 points each (1 point just for writing your name), 3 multiple choice tests (all noncumulative), and one easy essay that is only 2 pages. I never bought a single book because he discusses the books in class. Write everything he says, study your notes word for word, look up other people's quizlets, and show up for quizzes.
Really chill proff, trust me guys.
Pretty quirky guy, tends to ramble about random topics. Take notes on lectures, and look up quizlets to study for tests. Go to class for pop quizzes.
Dr. Lynch is a great prof. I took this class to satisfy my ICD credit, and it was a fantastic choice. His lectures could be a bit boring for a STEM guy like me whose not too into the subject, but he makes it interesting. His tests are extremely easy if you show up to every class, take notes, but most importantly listen. Definitely reccomend
Take this class!!!! Professor Lynch is an amazing prof. This class is not difficult, but you have to attend and have to read. I learned a lot from his lectures and genuinely enjoyed it. He is a super nice guy and has great examples. He really wants you to learn. The paper was clearly explained and he was extremely fair. I highly recommend.
Lynch was a great professor. Most lecture were very entertaining especially with his personal experience added in. Test are super easy, I would look over my notes and quizlet 2 days before and I made high As on all of them. He does have pop quizzes but they are straight from the lecture before.
Dr. Lynch is a great prof! I highly recommend this class. As long as you show up and listen, as well as do the readings, you will do well in this class. He made the lectures very interesting and easy to listen to.
Loved him. Goofy guy who loves what he teaches. Made a 99 in this class. I did read all 3 books, but they're pretty short. DO NOT MISS CLASS. His test are almost all from lecture. A couple days before the test, he would give "a guide to things that might be on the test" The guide was literally the exact same things that were tested.
Prof Lynch is a great professor! I would take this class again if I could. His lectures are so interesting. If you go to class and listen, you will do well in this class. I studied the quizlets online 2 days before the exam and looked over my notes. GREAT CLASS, take it!
Darrell Lynch is a very enthusiastic professor. He mentions his research, shows research, and is very interesting. Very easy class, but remember deadlines because he won't remind you!
Lynch is a cool prof. Has a lot of interesting insight and personal experience in the field. You take pop quizzes but they are for attendance and honestly help your grade. One research paper - but if you do correctly you get full credit. Listen to lecture and study that because tests are based on that, but all in all not bad at all. He rocks.
BEST PROF EVER. He has so many interesting stories and I actually debated changing my major to anthropology just because his class was so interesting. Tests and quizzes are extremly easy.
One of my favorite profs! He explains evolution really well. I learned a lot. I failed the first exam miserably but made a perfect score on the final/last exam. Lesson learned: study everything that's on the PowerPoint. Write every single word down that's on the PowerPoint presentations. You will be tested on exactly that.
I really enjoyed Dr. Lynch. His lectures were very interesting. There is a lot of material on his tests but his questions are very straightforward. There is one paper that's not bad. Attendance isn't mandatory but he gives about 10 easy pop quizzes and uses some of them for extra credit.
Very interesting class. Tests are straightforward and not difficult. Go to class every day because of random pop quizzes. 1 easy 1 1/2- 2 page paper.
Professor Lynch is a great professor! TAKE HIM! The tests are straightforward and theres only one paper (which is only 1-2 pages and super easy!) i would take this class again any day!
Take this class and you will pass it.
Really stimulated my interest in anthropology. Super chill guy. All you have to do is show up to class and take pop quizzes for attendance, and study a little outside of class time.
He is a soft speaker so the closer you sit to him the better. He does not post notes online or use ecampus at all besides entering grades. There are only 3 exams and one essay and all you have to do is show up for the random easy quizzes and the notes. He has nice lectures that are really interesting. Just listen to his stories and pass!
Great prof! If want an easy A, take him! Tests are super straightforward, there's one essay that's insanely easy, and random pop quizzes that he uses to take attendance. Show up, take the quizzes and take good notes and you'll easily make an A.
Completely incapable of putting grades in the grade book. You will not know your grade or be able to calculate your grade until a couple days AFTER FINALS ARE EVEN OVER. Extremely frustrating. Besides his laziness and pop quizzes that you will miss if you show up even a few minutes late to class, hes a pretty good, easy professor. Just annoyed.
Pros: funny, interesting, somewhat easy if you go to class and take good notes and do good on all the pop quizzes Cons: talks really soft and doesnt use a microphone, cant miss class, youll never know what grade you have unless you just know you have an A
Lynch is passionate and very knowledgeable about anthropology, but does not seem to care much about his students. He is an overall easy professor if you GO TO CLASS. There are a ton of pop quizzes, 1 paper, and 3 exams. He does not put in grades though. Its currently Sunday and we took our final on Wednesday and still dont know my grade.
He's a pretty great prof. He lectures the entire class period, but honestly they're not dull so class goes by pretty quickly. I recommend finding a buddy pretty fast as well, nothing gets posted on ecampus so if you miss a day you're sol. Overall, the class isn't that difficult. Take notes, go to lecture, and pay attention.
He doesn't post notes anywhere, so make a friend! He also does pop quizzes from time to time, but they're only 2 questions and you can miss quite a few without it hurting your grade. The tests were super straight-forward and not that bad. The books were dry, but he goes over them in class with you before each test.
Loved Dr. Lynch! He's chill on a whole different level. The coursework is SO manageable; the textbook and a couple other books are required, but key points are hit in lecture. Lecture notes aren't posted online, so it's pretty critical to show up. Lectures are SO interesting and Dr. Lynch has a lot of cool experiences/knowledge that he'll share!
Interesting stories, just a lot of work and notes i didn't want to do honestly
Dr. Lynch was wonderful! Tests were very straightforward but heavily lecture based so showing up for class is essential. Also gives out pop quizzes throughout the semester; they aren't difficult and can help your grade out as long as you come to class. Not a difficult class if you come to class, lectures are interesting, and I learned a lot.
He literally post nothing online except exam grades so pay attention in class and keep track of your pop quiz grades! The case review thing is super easy, everyone got 100s, make sure you follow the guidelines. There are pop quizzes 1-2 times a week over the most recent notes so pay attention! Make sure you study for the exams at least a day before
Dr. Lynch's lectures are interesting, and the material is never difficult to grasp. No attendance, but he gives 11 pop quizzes throughout the semester that can end up helping your grade overall. His straightforward exams require studying notes you take from lecture and the assigned readings, but his questions are always very black-and-white.
This is probably one of the easiest classes I have taken at TAMU. He clearly outlines his grading criteria and tells how many pop quizzes there are in the class (11), ensuring that most people will show up. Tests are all multiple choice and ridiculously easy. Attend class to get the information to study and you'll be golden. Great intelligent prof!
The chillest professor in the Anthropology department! His lectures are long and you have to go since he doesn't post anything online but its worth it. The material isn't that hard and the study guides he provides for the exams are a blessing. Theres one article review and a term paper/presentation, but they're nothing out of the ordinary.
Doesn't post anything online, so make sure to take thorough notes. There's a few books you're supposed to read, and he'll definitely quiz you on them. The lecture before an exam, he gives "examples" of what could be on the test, but it's basically exactly what is on the test. There's also an article review worth 60 points, but he's an easy grader.
While attendance is mandatory (for a good grade), his lectures are interesting and entertaining. He gives only 3 exams (each worth 100 pts.), 1 essay (60 pts.), and pop quizzes (55 pts. with 15 pts. of extra credit). His exams did not have any trick questions and were straight from his lectures. I found it to be super easy to get an A.
Such a great class, Lynch obviously loves what he teaches and is passionate about his studies. If you read the books and pay attention during lectures you'll do great on tests, but he also reviews the important concepts before most tests.
He is a cool guy and makes lecture interesting but DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS EXPECTING AN EASY A. I went in and did not do my readings or study as much as I should have due to that stigma and did not make the grade I wanted. Pop attendance quizzes are given, one review (very easy) and 3 test which you definitely need to study for. He is a cool guy tho
I experienced what you could call the false hope of an easy A. I blew this class off because I was so sure it would be easy compared to my other classes, and while it was, I neglected the reading and that made me suffer on the pop quizzes which are a good portion of the grade. Also for the one paper you have, everyone makes a 60/60
Dr. Lynch is my man. He teaches very old school, he does not post slides or use eCampus. You must show up and take notes while he speaks. He gives out books to read for each test, but I haven't read because before the exam he goes over the readings in class, although I would recommend reading. I have made A's on all my exams.
Prof. Lynch is a REALLY interesting lecturer. HOWEVER do not take this class for granted! DO your readings/study before the tests or you will not make the grade you expected. I slacked off because it was such easy concepts but the first test really threw me off! Now i dont get the grade i want because i was lazy and ignorant!
This class is very interesting and you can really tell Dr. Lynch loves what he teaches. 3 exams, one super easy 2-page article review, and attendance pop-quizzes. Exams & quizzes are straightforward and he is not out to trick you. Must take good notes during class, he posts nothing. Just look over notes night before for a solid hour and easy A.
Professor Lynch is a really good professor! His lectures are very interesting and he clearly cares a lot about anthropology. I had to study a little bit for the tests, but hardly at all. There are required readings but all you have to do is skim them. Just show up to class, take good notes, and you'll be fine! Take his class!
Dr. Lynch is a great story teller and is a very interesting prof to listen to. His grades are based essentially entirely off 3 exams (worth 100 points each), with 115 points spread across easy in class quizzes and a article review that is an easy 100% if you follow simple directions. Use quizlets to review before tests and take notes in class.
Wasn't my favorite class, but definitely a good professor. Dr. Lynch is able to tell stories super well, which is a large part of the class. Tests/Quizzes are straight from the lectures with some questions about the readings on the tests. I didn't read any books, just went to the review day before tests. Takes work, but not hard to get an A.
Dr. Lynch is awesome! He's really funny and doesn't want anyone to make lower than a C. I only used the textbook once right before the final, but I made above 90s throughout the semester. He has 1 big paper, but just follow the instructions (most people made a perfect score). He's not super concerned about exams- he really just wants you to learn.
one of my favorite classes this semester. It's an easy A if the student actually puts in work. He doesn't post anything on ecampus so going to class is kind of mandatory in order to keep up with the material. There are three exams (100 pts. each), 11 pop quizzes, and an article review (60 pts.) that is an easy 100 if you follow the instructions.
He is a caring teacher and gives decent lectures but the test compared to the lecture and reading doesnt match well. It makes it hard to study material that isnt given to us and will be on the test.
His lectures are long but he makes the class fairly interesting. He assigns a lot of reading but honestly all you really need to do is pay attention in class to get an A. Also, his tests are super easy and straight forward if you put in a little bit of effort in during class.
I loved this class so much. It was the only class I have been excited to go to. There are pop quizzes but they are super easy. The tests are exactly the notes. Super easy class and Lynch seems to love what he teaches. Overall, one of my favorite classes I have taken at A&M so far.
Professor Lynch made ANTH 205 an enjoyable class. He's funny and pretty blunt about most of the subject matter. He has 3 exams, 1 paper, and 11 quizzes. The paper is extremely easy as long as you do it. However, the exam and quiz difficulty depends on how often you went to class. Both pull heavily from the lectures so show up and take notes.
Professor Lynch was awesome! The pop quizzes aren't bad at all if you take a few minutes to go over your notes before class and the tests are straight out of his lecture notes. YOU HAVE TO GO TO CLASS. Our last exam was based solely on 2 books (because if COVID-19), but even then it was doable.
This is a COVID-19 review. The final exam questions were on quizlet, the quizzes were fairly easy, and the grading was NOT harsh whatsoever. Take the class, it was a good experience.
Exams are right off the notes - just be familiar with examples and definitions. Super chill guy. It wasn't my favorite class but it was definitely my easiest.
Lynch is a good guy. Do as he says, read the readings, attend the lectures since he does not record or post them, take the notes additional to the outline provided. You will be fine plus it's an interesting course as well. There is other assignments to improve your grade if you do not do well on an exam.
Dr. Lynch Is the easiest professor you probably going to get. All you gotta do is show up at the class and take notes. He will give you a study guide right before the exams, and prepare for those things using those notes. He want you to read a lot, but I never even had those books. He do lectures over those readings, so take notes and thats enough
This class was an easy A. Make sure you take notes during class, he doesn't post them after. Although he says to buy the book, you don't have to, I never read it, and I got an A. Just make sure to take notes and you'll be fine.
I do not know how he has such good ratings, I was very let down to find out on the syllabus all he has is 3 Exams, 1 small paper, and 1 large 12 page paper due. There are no options for extra credit He DID NOT post any lectures online so if you miss class you were out of luck. Exams were VERY specific to his wording from class not set up to succeed
If you fail ANTH 205 then I would suggest rethinking your learning habits. Exams are based entirely on lectures, readings, and the occasional video. If you miss a lecture ask another student for notes. There are two writing assignments that are incredibly easy to do and understand if you follow the instructions. Not a difficult class to succeed in.
Dr. Lynch is super nice and funny. However you have to go to class, pay attention, and take really good notes to pass. The class grade is made up mostly of the tests and a few article summaries. The notes are usually taken based off what he says out loud in class, not a power point or anything like that. Overall it was not too difficult
Super cool guy! Go to lectures and you'll be fine. There are books to purchase that you are tested on, but between lectures and Quizlet, they aren't necessarily required. Class is not hard if you pay attention and take good notes. 3 exams, no final, 1 paper, 1 film response (less than a page). Definitely recommend!!!!
Lynch is a great prof! Just show up to every class, take many notes, and you get an A. You only get graded on 5 things. 2 papers are super easy. Just do what the outline says and you get a 100. 3 tests including the final. None are cumulative. He goes over the books in class, so I never used them. If you take notes and go to class, easy A.
Fun and interesting class. GO TO CLASS! You will not get a good grade if you don't. No extra credit or curve on tests. Tests are straight forward. Nice professor and very knowledgable. Take good notes and you will be successful. I did not buy any of the books and I got an A. Don't skip any classes, take good notes, and you will be successful!
Very easy A as long as you attend classes and take notes. You don't even have to read the chapters just check quizlets from previous students and that should be enough. Not a hard grader for the articles you will get a full score as long as you follow the instructions on the syllabus. He's also an interesting professor.
Hed underline/bold the main ideas he found important and then we added notes based on the info he gave on those topics. There may be better ways to take notes, but without a true study guide, I wasnt sure what to focus on. I basically studied everything by transferring my notes to Quizlet. You must make time to study to do well on the exams.
If youre gonna take this class take it with this professor! The two writing assignments arent very difficult. The tests are mostly lecture based so you do have to attend lecture to do good on exams but the lectures are very interesting. About 10% of the exam will have questions from the assigned reading.
Highly recommend Professor Lynch! If you don't go to class, do not take him! The class is point-based, and 300 points are from 3 Tests. You will have to take notes on his lectures every class period to be successful in this course. Make your own study guide, refresh with previously made Quizlets, and you should be good to go.
Don't skip a single class. Easiest class ever. You simply go to class, fill out the outline he gives you, and study that for the exams. How I stayed on track was by putting all my notes into Quizlet after every class so that all I had to do was study the Quizlet the day before the exam instead of sifting through my 20+ pages of notes last minute.
Professor Lynch is great! The lectures are super interesting and he gives note outlines for each section. Attendance is not required but I wouldn't recommend skipping class because there are no lecture slides on Canvas. The tests are multiple choice and they aren't too difficult. Overall I would definitely recommend taking this class!
insanely boring topic made even more so by a boring prof. class is 98% lecture material with test questions coming from a few small books, not enticing enough to read since in class discussions are not graded. if you have to take him, just don't take him in the morning. he says random things that make no sense logically, I found him disagreeable.
Lynch might be the most caring professor I've had, however, this class is not an easy A. You have to actually study everything he says in lecture. Exams aren't hard, but very detailed. He tells you everything that will be on the exam the day before, but still requires extensive studying as the exams are pretty detailed. Super chill dude though!!
If you think this class will be an easy A, please think again. While this class was fun, and I did think the material was interesting, there are A LOT of things to memorize for every exam. The exams are pretty specific, so skim studying won't help. Take thorough notes!! Other than that, Dr. Lynch is pretty cool, and the class overall wasn't so bad!
An interesting class and really fun at times. He does post lecture outlines for you to fill in for notes which is helpful. His exams are easy, he gives you the questions beforehand and pulls from the review. The hardest part is the 12 page paper at the end but you select the topic and have a lot of freedom. Super easy 400-level course.
He is a genuine and kind professor. His lectures were always interesting (the material was lowkey weird sometimes) and the exams were easy. He has 10 points inbuilt extra credit into the grading system. Getting a good grade isn't hard at all. Be sure to do the readings and study using flashcards for exams. 3 non cumulative exams (including final)
In my second semester of my freshman year and he is my favorite professor so far!! So sweet and understanding, reached out to me a lot. Cares so much for his students and his work. Very passionate about what he lectures and has first hand experience in the field. Would 10/10 recommended and take again!
Took this class because of great reviews, was mistaken. Grades are pretty much just 3 tests and each exam covers a ton of material. The class is pretty easy to pass, but you have to really work for an A. He does not use slides during lecture. Also some of the material is pretty graphic, would caution anyone who is sensitive to that kind of stuff.
The best prof I've had! His lectures are very interesting! Do not miss a lecture or you won't know the material. I bought the textbooks but you do not need them because he explains them in class. Grades are only made up of 3 exams, a film response, and essay. I highly recommend this class and Prof. Lynch!
super nice and cool guy, posts outlines of lectures and u fill them out, does have assigned reading here and there but he goes over the contents w class participation, doesn't record lectures, v few grades but the assignments given are easy, gives study guide in class (doesn't post it) for exams, important stuff underlined in outlines
I loved having Professor Lynch, one of my favorite professors so far! Don't be mistaken, the class is not overly easy but the material is very interesting. He doesn't take attendance but the tests are almost completely lecture based so if you don't go you fail. 3 tests, 2 writing assignments that's it. Highly recommend Prof Lynch!
This class is very lecture heavy, so make sure to make friends for when you miss class, as he does not post notes or go over a lecture again. There are some quizlets online that I found helpful in studying for each exam. 20% of the tests are off the readings, and the other 80% is off of lecture. Additionally, the tests are strait memorization.
Attendance is mandatory to make a good grade!!! The class is heavily lecture-based. There are required readings from textbooks outside of class that make up around 30-40% of each test. The information is a lot to study for each test; mostly, it includes terminologies. Overall, Professor Lynch is a good professor but be prepared to earn your grade.
There is a lot of information to take in, but he gives outlines for every lecture and tells you the things that need to be known for exams. If you miss class, it is very hard to get the information that you missed. Read the books, take notes in class, and follow the syllabus to be successful.
Professor Lynch is a great speaker and you can tell he really enjoys some of the things he's talking about. There are only two assignments outside of exams so make sure you study well and are prepared in order to pass. He gives an outline but most of the notes you have to take from his lecture and he won't post anything online if you miss.
Professor Lynch is so sweet. Attendance wasn't mandatory but 80% of exam material was from class lecture so don't skip class. Grade is made up of 3 tests, a film response, and an article summary. The summary and response is very easy. Exams aren't hard but detailed, so take thorough notes. He doesn't use a mic and some of the content is graphic.
Professor Lynch great; funny, informative, and engaging. The information he provides is very interesting. He assigns three books to buy but goes over info from them before each exam. Exams are very detailed, 70% lecture material, ~30% from readings. Attendance is not mandatory, but you definitely need someone to get notes from if you plan to miss.
Amazing professor. Lectures were always interesting and kept me engaged. Three tests and two written assignments with 10 points of extra credit built in. As long as you do the required readings and start studying a few days before the tests, an A is easily plausible. Highly recommend taking this class and professor.
This is not a free elective. Although exams are not too difficult, they are dependent on lectures which are full of information. Be prepared to take good notes. Exams are 70% lectures, and 30% readings. 2 really easy assignments help your grade. Exam questions are either you know them or you don't.
Professor Lynch's lectures are engaging and informative. While attendance is mandatory to keep up with the exam-heavy grading, unstuckstudy can help supplement your study prep. Overall, his class is challenging but rewarding for those who put in the work.
Prof. Lynch was a great professor for my first ANTH class at TAMU! You can tell he's really passionate about the class and what he's teaching so it's really helpful when your'e new to the subject to have a professor who cares about the course!
Dr. Lynch is very knowledgeable about anthropology and is very detail-oriented in his lectures. However, for an introductory anthropology course, it was too specific and not general enough. I ended up having to drop the class because there are easier courses for this degree requirement. If you are up for a challenge then this course is for you.
MY FAV PROF. I took his 205 and 300 as electives because he is that good. He loves his students almost as much as he loves his wife. Class is VERY lecture heavy and exams are over details you will only know from going to class. Take detailed notes, follow his outlines, study hard, and an A is attainable. TAMU is a better place because of D. Lynch.
Made this course very enjoyable. Was my favorite lecture of the semester. Has note outlines that have most of the main points that will be on the test. If you want a high grade though, make sure to do the readings as in the syllabus. Overall, would take him again 10 times out of 10.
Great professor—funny and passionate! He values engagement, and while attendance isn't mandatory, skipping class will hurt your grade. Exams cover lecture and 3 books, so stay on top of readings. Few graded items: 3 exams and 2 assignments. Show up and participate to succeed!
Darrell is a king. He shows an exam review the class prior to the exam, but he does not post it. Go to class because he is really passionate about what he teaches & he is a legend. Find someone who has taken the class before & study their notes of the reading from when he went over it in class- I never read the books & did good on the exams.
I failed too hard
If you show up to the lectures and take good notes this class is a breeze. He's fairly funny and interesting to listen to. This class felt like a lifeline while I was drowning in my other more intense classes.
Took Dr. Lynch for ANTH 205, loved his class so much that I took his ANTH/RELS 403 class this semester. He is the sweetest, most laid-back professor I've had at TAMU. BTW— He's old school and all his tests are on paper. He doesn't put anything in Canvas except chapter outlines so make sure you go to class and take notes or you won't pass.
only graded by 5 things in the class, 3 tests, 2 easy assignments. i skipped a lot but still manage to get an A overall in this class and 88s on the tests just by looking at peoples notes online or a friends . (quizlet, studuco) wouldn't recommend tho if you want 100s on the exams go to class! he gets into the details that i missed on the test.
This class has 2 super easy assignments and 3 tests. YOU NEED TO READ!! If you don't read you won't pass, I mean it. He does anything... 50% of the time class was let out 15 mins early. He is hard to reach outside of his class. Very respectful guy w/ a great heart. I recommend taking him!! I promise everything will be okay if you just work for it.
He's really nice, and passionate. There are only 5 things that make up the grade, and 3 are exams. You really need to study for them, attend class, and take good notes. An A is doable, but pretty difficult if you already have a heavy workload. There are probably easier classes that fulfill the credits this class gives.
