Wadhwa rox! I had some issues during the semester that kept me from taking the third test and final and I passed with a D after emailing him my personal issues. I am going to take it again to bring up my GPA but you don't find professor's that will do that kind of thing for a student. Are allowed a one page study sheet during tests. Easy!

He is really good at teaching and has alot of experience of real world. The tax courses are it self hard! he helps you understand really good. Allows you to bring one page cheat sheet which no other professor allow in UHD for tax class. Made an A, but had to study alot too cause of the course.. not coz of teacher.

Great Profosser for Corp tax,quiz given after every test, final exam was a tax return real easy. very helpful if you ask questions and pay attention you will do well in his class

I didn't learn very much, but the class was pretty easy. No final, just a tax return. Exams are mostly straight from notes, so go to class and take good notes. Curves every exam.

Good teacher. Exam materials are straightforward. He went over practice problems in class which I found very helpful. He was also clear on what materials to study for exams. You'll do well if you attend class, pay attention, take notes, and study what he covered in class. He allowed open 'notes' on some exams and he curved - big help!

Great professor. Hv had him as a prof twice and no complaints. Teaches well, explains acctg well, reviews problems, and gives great test reviews. If you go to class, study what he tells you to study, work homework and review his notes for tests you will do great. Highly recommend!

He's helpful. If you don't understand him then ask him again. He can repeat as much as he can until you get the material. He's easy pro. He'll tell you what'll be on the test. As long as you study the review and the problem he gave, you can easily pass the test. Big curve! That's great too.

This professor heeds the comments of previous students and tries to improve his teaching tactics. He writes more on the board now and gives sample tests and exercises that are really similar to the ones on the exams. There are really no surprises on exams. Also, he makes time to help students with questions. Additionally, he gives generous curves.

Corporate Tax is a difficult course, but Dr. Wadhwa was very helpful. He doesn't post notes on BB, so class attendance is basically a MUST. We had 3 exams & 3 tax returns (1 of them was the final exam). Took him during Summer 3 and made a B. I would definitely recommend him!

Took Income tax with him for summer. He is a very good professor and explains really well. I would recommend him. He does a lot of problems on the board, which is very helpful. The only problem I had was he jumped back and forth from chapters. Other than that he was great. I got a A in the class.

I took him for ACC 4301 in Spring, he's a fair professor. We had 4 exams consist of T/F and multiple choice questions. He gives a review that was extremely helpful on what to expect on the exam. He's one of the few UHD professors that will adapt for students in learning the material.

Took his class during the summer session I think he should make his own tests instead of using test bank questions so it can be fair to the students as well as challenging.

Class difficulty was dependent on whether or not you went to class and did the homework. He was very thorough with his test reviews and is very fair about grading. Yes, he has an accent, but if you ask him to clarify something he will. Sense of humor is dry, so it catches you off guard, but he does the best that could be expected from a tax class.

He is good professor, because he spends time to teach. If you attend his class and read book and do his sample exam. You will be fine.

Shame on you if you don't make an A in this class. No textbook required, the class consists of tax research, which at times can be difficult. Prof Wadhwa does make himself available for questions and guidance. I highly recommend this class. It's an easy A but does require work.

I'm not good at tax & was dreading this class but this professor knows what he is talking about & how to explain it so everyone can understand. We had 4 exams & 4 Tax Returns, one of which was the final. Gives decent reviews prior to the exams as well. I would take him again!

Took this professor for Individual and Corporate Tax. He operates both classes very similarly. I got an A in individual and a B in Corporate Tax. He tells you exactly what he wants you to study, but it is a difficult subject in itself so you must read and work the problems. You must attend class to take the exams. I recommend him.

Dr. Wadhwa has a sense of humor which makes his classes enjoyable. When I wanted him to hand me the material on a silver spoon, he simply smiled and said: "I cannot answer that." He challenged me, but in a good way. I took three classes from him, and I do not regret any one of them.

Prof. Darshan makes the difficult course easy to understand. He provides some notes before each class which include most of points in each chapter. The textbook is confusing which covers a lot of info. Students should read the notes first and then read the textbook in detail. His sample questions will be on the test, but test time is very tight.

I took Dr. Wadhwa in ACC 4301 so I knew pretty much about his teaching style. This class(ACC 4302) is harder than ACC 4301. Dr. Wadhwa makes the class enjoyable although much work and effort are required. You must attend class in order to pass. Yes, he gave reviews for the tests, which really helped me. I strongly recommend him! Take him!

Took him for ACC4301&4302 so there was no doubt taking him for this class. Although it was an hybrid class, a lot of tax research had to be done. Dr. Wadhwa gave clear instructions&made himself available whenever we were confused. There are NO BOOKS to buy in this class. Your grades comes from your group' work & there's 1 individual test. Take him!

I didnt know what to expect when taking this Tax class. A lot of tax research to be done: no books to buy; just notes from the Prof &cases to work on in groups. Make sure your group has hardworking people because your grade comes from the group work! There's just ONE individual test worth 40%. Not an easy class but Prof Wadhwa makes it easier.

Took this class during the Spring as an elective & requirement for the CPA Exam. Lot of tax research as other students mentioned. Class' work is in groups; no book at all to purchase; 1 exam thats it! Great instructor and easy class if you do what is asked. Take Dr. Wadhwa.

I love his classes. I took him in Acc 4301, 4302 and plan to take Tax Methodology with him in next semester. The matetials in 4302 are harder than 4301, but he gives us a lot of extra credits. 2 tax returns will be needed for each class. He is very kind and patient with our questions. Plus, always response my email quickly.

Lots of research the whole semester, all research projects done in groups. Flexible with due dates, specially when students were not sure how to go about an assignment. Helpful to a certain extent because he wanted students to be independent and to try to figure things out by doing research. No book required. One simple exam. Easy grader.

Funny man, class goes fast, 3 tests 2 tax returns, helps with xtra credit. It's a lot of info to learn. Read his notes, and work problems out. Took him for both Indiv. and Corp. Tax, corp was a little more difficult. I do advise you to take him, wished he was available in the evening not just during the day. Wished he offered online tests.

TAKE THIS CLASS!! EASY A! Entire semester is full of group research assignments, mainly 1 due per week on average. most were simple tasks of writing a letter once the research is done. 1 simple exam in the class, and a final paper. He is will give feedback on assignments if you turn it in ahead of time and need guidance. No book needed at all.

EASY A (IF YOU CHOOSE THE RIGHT GROUP MEMBERS)... Class is mainly group work, consisting of weekly research assignments. 1 exam, and a final paper. Professor is funny, and can be helpful at times. Very hard to make a B in this class is you do all assignments and do well on final paper.

I didn't know what to expect when taking this class, I'm glad I took it. It is an easy class. The professor is funny. No book required. A lot of research and all assignments are group work. I think there was 10 assignments, 1 test, and 1 group research paper (40% of grade).I would definitely recommend taking the class to fulfill CPA requirement.

He is a good professor. Be ready to read the powerpoint and chapters. In addition, studying the review can prove crucial for the exam. In conclusion, studying every week will increase the chance of passing the course. Best of luck

Took this professor for individual and corporate tax. He expects for you to show up and do your own work. If you can follow basic instructions, you will pass his class.

I took individual taxation ACC4301 two semesters ago and I got "A". This semester I am taking ACC4302 Corporation Taxation and He is so easy because his exams come straight from the review sheet. I recommend him

Took Corporate Accounting with him. He made the questions to problems simple and easy to do in class. Reading does help but mainly showing up to class will allow you to understand the material much more efficiently. Recommend him for both individual and corporate!

Professor Wadhwa is one of the best professor i've taken at uhd. His sample test are really helpful for exams. Would take him again.

I took this professor for ACC 4301 and ACC 4302. He was exactly in both and it was a lot of material but it was not difficult. He is a good professor and I recommend him if you have to take 4301 and 4302. P.S. he uses the same book for both classes so don't sell it after 4301 if you plan on taking him for 4302.

I took Professor Wadhwa for both corporate and individual tax. He is a good professor and I would definitely take him again. He gives good reviews and his exams come from his lectures so there's no surprises. It's a lot of info so it will hurt you if you miss class. He's funny too. You must bring your book to every class and the notes he posts.

Professor Wadhwa is awesome!!! The way he teaches really makes you understand and his reviews are just like the test!! If you study the review and know everything on it you will DEFINITELY pass the tests! I have taken him twice and wouldn't mind taking him again.

I made the mistake of being skeptical about his review for the first test. Do not make the same mistake. Make sure you go to class and take notes. Being there for the test review is a must. Tests are just like what he teaches in class. Learn to do every problem on the review and you'll do great.

If you failed this class this semester you did not put any effort at all. There were 3 exams & 2 tax returns. His sample tests/reviews that he gives before the exam is basically exactly like the actual exam, except he changes the numbers. He is not as bad as others write on here. Pay attention, do the problems & reviews & you'll be fine. Easy class

I took him for Individual Income Tax and Corporation Tax. Wonderful professor, he read from chapter and then work a problem related to what he just went over. Exams are similar to review,just know the rules that apply to certain problems. Whatever you do,don't blow off the first exam (thank me later)

Dr. Wadhwa shows up to class prepared to teach and expects students to be prepared too. He's available (phone, email, office hours). He has a lot of real-life stories--funny and helpful. He encourages not being afraid to make mistakes. Not easy A, but very do-able A. Struggling? Talk to him ASAP, he works with you. Definitely Recommend.

Great professor always willing to help students out if struggling. He gives his number for students to personally contact him and takes time out to ensure success in his class for students. I took him for Acc4325 and Acc4302. Willing to help all the time, care about your success. For ACC4302 study the review, 3 test(none comprehensive)2 tax returns. For ACC4325 follow the format for the paper. Easy grader. I hope to take him in the future

Course grades were only three tax returns and three tests but he does everything possible to prepare you for them. If you follow his reviews for tests and study exactly as he lectures (he does post recordings to go back and watch again) you will do fine. Also held multiple extra study sessions for his courses even on weekends. Highly recommend.

I liked this professor however there are very few things that are graded in this class. 3 exams and 2 tax returns and that is it. He did give our class 5 pts extra credit. He does a review right before the exams and goes over the exact questions that he is going to put on the exams.

The professor's teaching style may take some getting used to, but if you engage with it, you'll do well. His test reviews are incredibly helpful - study them thoroughly and you'll be set. Unstuck Study AI was a lifesaver for me too!
