Starting from the first day of class Professor Khatri introduced himself and made his class rules very clear and precise. Dr. Khatri took the time to know each individual student's name along with their brief background such as their majors. As from that point, the students were not just heads in the class. Khatri's intro to physics 2 is a lot like his intro to physics 1, it just covers different material. I would not say it is harder, just different. It is a meticulously well organized and fairly graded class.

Repetition aided me in my understanding physics and math in general. Dr K stressed repetition by making students write problems on a number of occasions, before taking an exam. Students wrote down problems during class, repeated similar problems for homework and again repeated problems three times over before taking the exam. This helped everyone

Dr. Khatri is the best physics professor in the DMV area. He is highly interested in physics and truly invested into helping his students succeed. He will not allow you to fail and will push you towards success. There is no textbook at all. Just a binder filled with Dr. Khatri's materials.

At first I did not enjoy his class this semester even though I do like physics. I struggle at first to understand his way of teaching .Overtime I learned to like his class. I enjoy lab the most. However, his rule that if you miss more than 2 days you automatically will get a B even if you pass all exams is ridiculous. It needs to be changed.

Dr. Khatri has a no-nonsense teaching style. He explains the concepts, then will show you exactly how to apply it to physics problems. If you take notes, pay attention, and participate (and he WILL make you do all of these things), you will not only get a good grade, you will carry with you an understanding of physics. Lots of in-class review. Lectures are clear. The binder you are expected to buy is not a reference book, so it's difficult to use if you skip the lectures. If you have any limitations or conflicts (academic, work, financial) let him know upfront. Dr. Khatri's pretty accommodating.

To begin with, he is a resourceful and knowledgeable professor. He cares for students and do whatever it takes to deliver the info. Pay attention, do what you asked, attend all classes and you'll be fine. He has no surprises and whatever you do in class will be on the test. We don't use a standard text book, he is working on his own. The sheets he had out are very helpful. Its better if you just go to class and take the notes. You'll get an A that way. He gives no surprises.

ATTEND CLASS! STUDY! This class is hard, really hard(imo) but it is passable. He is really nice and helpful. There are lots of tests and quizzes and they're pretty hard but like I said, passable. He is AMAZING when it comes to teaching, sometimes a bit too fast but he's really good. Take the class, no class is meant to be easy.

This man is WELL RESPECTED and a darn right GENIUS. Basically broke the material down as "Physics for Dummies". Not that we are unintelligent. I'm telling you his old school methods work.

Professor Khatri is a very good instructor. His intention is to make sure his students learn and understand the concept of the course. He gives you multiple opportunities to succeed and is always willing to answer questions and clearify anything that is not properly understood by the student. He makes the course seem easy.

He is amazing professor. He use simple method to explain the lessons(Lec). His exam is pretty the same with sample tests given at the end of the book, the only thing he do is changes the numbers. So, if you take good note and do the sample test, you will definitely get 100+bonus.I didn't miss any questions on his past 3 exams yet.

He is very clear and helpful. He makes physics seem extremely easy. If you go to class and do the homework and practice exams (which are the exact same as the actual exam with numbers switched around) then you must get an A and will learn basic physics.

I took his summer Physics 1 class, the course was six weeks. We had a test every week but he gave study guides and the tests are based on what we did in class. He provided his own lecture/lab book. He gives real world examples of physics concepts which makes them easier to understand, especially if you have no prior experience with physics.
