Math is my worst subject and I passed his classes with B's. He's really nice, and makes it a lot easier to understand. Take him, you won't regret it!
Great guy, unique professor. If you totally suck and hate math dont take him, he dosnt 'hold your hand' through it all. He is very fun to have if you like a short guy in jeans and flip flops, with sarcastic wit. Tests are multi choice but not always easy.
Schrader rocks. I never got better than a C in math, but I got an A and a B in Schrader's. Additionally, Schrader's wit and energetic love-of-math kept me wide awake. Who needs additive inverses when you can nega-size?!
His humor is dry, sarcastic and rude. He flys through the coursework and refers you to the math lab for any questions. He is definately not worth the money you spend taking the class. Not highly recommended in my book
He has the abilty to get you involed into the course, one as the student must apply themselves by studying, and doing the homework, his humor is excellent and his views about the instition"SPC" is true. he is a great prof.

His class was the first and only class I have ever failed. He complained if we asked him a question and five minutes later we'd had to reask the question because he still hadn't answered it.
Blazes through the material spending too much time showing you "His" way rather than breaking things down in a clear manner. If you have a problem with Algebra, take a different teacher. If it's easy for you he may be enjoyable.Better comedy tha
You just have to do the homework and study the test material. He makes it pretty cut and dry. The tests cover what he says they will. I'm a wreck with math passed with a B and recall enjoying his class. He had no trouble helping out after class either.
A horrible little man that should not be teaching. Often refers to answer questions, referring students to math lab instead. Complains daily about his job and insults his students on about a regular basis. Thanks for nothing Prof!
Although he can come off as whiney and complaining alot, he does take it as slow as u need to go. I didnt think that he was very enthusiastic about his job, but an overall average teacher.
A great teacher, especially for non-science majors. Covers all of the topics on the test and does great reviews. His outlook on the college and the faculty is also fun to listen to. The best teacher I have had at the college.
He makes sure you know the material before moving on. If you don't study you won't pass (that's with any class). Ask him questions if you don't understand he'll stop & maybe show you another way. I hadn't taken math since 10th grade & passed with an A
very good teacher. dry sense of humor. the only downfall is that you cant use a calculator until the last test.
Very clear of his expectations. No surprises. Teaches multiple methods to find solutions, and doesn't restrict which method you use on the tests. He's a busy person, but always did his best to make time to help. Ask questions as they arise, don't wait.
Well I took Mr. Schrader 3 semesters ago, and it was a nightmare. He only worked problems 1 way and expected you to understand the problems after the first time around.He also looked depressed 80% of time. So maybe he has gotten better, but be careful!!!!
He shows different methods, gives his expectations; no calculators until the final, lots of studying(the math lab has become my friend). He has a great sense of humor, and at the very least will keep you entertained in class.
AWESOME professor. His sense of humor is dry, but thats what makes it humorous. He explains things several different ways and is always willing to help out. He doesnt give "homework" however, if you dont study outside of class, you probably wont pass. Awesome professor and highly recommended.
I really hated every second that I attended his class. I ended up passing with a C, but I thought he tried to make you feel stupid if you didn't understand the math. If you're not a math person like me, do not take his class, chances are you won't pass.
Great math teacher who knows what he is talking about. I took him every chance I got. He is fair and makes little jokes to make sure your paying attention. He had many ways of solving problems which many did not like, but if your not willing to be receptive, even the best teacher cannot teach you!
do not recommend for someone who needs a slow teacher. He teaches very fast and rarely refers to the book. 4 test, not very many problems on test, doesnt leave room for errors! doesnt care about attendence which is nice.overall wouldnt recommend.
His tourish astronomy class is great and easy. He knows a whole lot but i dont think you should take him for math, i know for a fact he is tough.
He was very unclear and I could not stand to sit in the class...his method of teaching is fast paced and if you don't keep up your screwed so be warned he teachings kept me looking at the clock wondering when class would end so...one positive is that he is not to strict on attendence many people left early in my class and he didn't mind
Great teacher! Moves very quickly, but keeps it interesting. He def. knows what he's talking about. I found his teaching many diff. approaches to things helpful. Not a teacher for people that don't understand math. I also took him for astronomy, which i would highly recommend.
Good instructor and very smart! I would take him again....Actually I will probably have to take him again (I got a "D") LOL. But it was my fault I was too busy to study :O.
Prof schrader made algebra class fly bye time wise, he constantly is cracking jokes and is not strick at all. He is a very smart man and knows his work. Prof schrader saves a lot of time with tricks and tips to solve problems. But if you are not particulary smart in math I would suggest to stay clear because he is hard to get extra help from.
Wow! Someone whoe teaches math conceptually!! I only got a B cuz I slacked mid semiester but he is an excellent teacher!
This Professor is arrogant, and insulting. He states that it's his punishment to instruct this level.With only 4 tests, there are no corrections handed back to learn from and try to better yourself. No help is offered,nor is it welcomed to ask questions. If Math is hard for you, find another class.
Prof doesn't teach math, he performs it! Nothing is more valuable than a teacher loves and knows their subject. I never thought math could be fun.

Very very fast paced class so if you stuggle in math don't take this class. There are only 4 test no corrections. No extra credit is givin so if you want to pass make sure you STUDY FOR THE TEST!!! Can be very annoying. Thinks that if you automatically know what is hoing on your slow. I wouldn't reccoment to anyone!
He is very fast and wont stop to explain anything during class even if more then one person has the same question. I guess he would like everyone in his class to visit his office for extra help. oh yeah only if u can find him he is NEVER there! I would not recommend him to anyone!!

he is a great professor. Sometimes his class is fast paced but he makes sure you understand it. I am not that great in math and I actually did good. The only thing that i did not like is that he didnt hand back your tests. But overall he is a great professor and I would take him again!
He is a very sarcastic little man. I advise not to raise you hand, he will make an example out of you. I end up taking this class again with a teacher who made the course subject easy to learn. Take Paula Ralph she is a newcomer.
I would not recommend this professor. I thought it was lazy of him to give his tests on a scantron. No other credit given in the class, homework, quizzes, etc. So you'd better be prepared for his tests. 2/3's of my class dropped.

Great teacher, kept class fun, most of the class dropped or failed because they didn't do the homework. He gives you opportunities for extra credit which is hard to find at the college level. Easy to pass if you do the work. Very smart man and he'll let you know that he knows it.
hedoes this funny thing where he tells the class when they'v answered a problem that they did a good job, and then raises his voice, as if yelling, and tells us we're "wrong, all wrong." ha, he's funny and purses his lips a lot after drinkng his coffee. I like his class a lot, I look forward to it. It's easy if you're good at math.
I think hes a great teacher. I have a hard time with math and I got 95's on all the test. He only gives 3 tests which are easy if you practice by doing the homework assignments. They are not required, but help. The review is just like the tests, so make sure you are there for all the reviews. Hes interesting and funny, and the class really flew by

If you do not like math or have a hard time understanding it, do not take this class. I withdrew because he constantly belittled the class. Anytime someone asked a question he had in insulting remark, he made it clear questions were unacceptable. He knows the subject, not a people person.

Professor Schrader was an awesome teacher. I just finished this class with him and it was easy.He worked the problems and even gave extra credit. Math is not my subject. I will recommend this teacher to anyone. Thanks Mr. Schrader

I failed my math course two times before taking his class. He was the only teacher I had that made it clear and understandable. If you study and pay attention you will do very well.
I was usually good at math. That man was confusing and annoying. Notes were nothing more than random examples. He does not teach what is in the book he teaches his own method. which is confusing. I would deffinately never reccomend.
Awesome teacher! I liked him so much when I took Intro algebra I took him again for intermediate. Makes algebra very easy and is very helpful if you have questions. He has a sarcastic sense of humor so if you can't handle that, I wouldn't recommend him. I found him quite humorous. Would take him again if he taught any other classes!!

He made algebra seem so easy, once you understand the concepts, and he makes it easy to understand. He is available to help you anytime and is not strict about anything, he is funny!

Absolute worst teacher ever. Our class started out full (like 30 students) and by the time I dropped the class there were 6 or 7 left. I study hard but I could not learn anything from this guy. I wouldn't be surprised at all to learn that he came to class ****. It would make sense. Don't take him! Take Mrs. Cannon instead! She is a great teacher!
The things this Prof knows about mathematics is amazing. I never understood algebra so well until taking his course. He makes algebra fun and easy. I'm a fan of the Schrader method. Highly recommend this professor and I will be looking for more algebra classes with him as well as calculus.
He is very nice and his class is alot of fun. I couldn't learn from him but that was just my learning style was different then the way he teaches. I do suggest taking him but only if you have no understanding of math. If you have a general idea of it then take another teacher.
One of the smartest math teachers on this Earth but it's not what he knows that passes you. Try to have a back up plan if you are in his class. You will know after the first meeting if your able to follow him.If not try your best to get Foulk but its very hard for intermediate he only teaches one class I did all my classes around his class.
Awesome teacher, people that say he is not any good need to listen a little better because i sit in class listening to music texting and what not and i still have an A in his class. I have never gotten an A in math. Take him!
Took him last year. I love his teaching style!! He keeps class fun! I wish he taught MAC level classes. They would have been way easier....

Teaches his own style and is very difficult to follow. Everyday I came to class I was lost. He doesn't give enough assignments to help your grade. Very comical doing class and doesn't take it serious. I wouldn't recommend. To survive his class you'll have to be a self directed learner.
This man is extremely intelligent! He just knows his math, period! I took him for Elementary Algebra after being out of school for 18 years and I learned it all and got a B in his class. I made sure to take him for Intermediate Algebra this semester. I wish he taught college level math!
Mr.Schrader is that guy when it comes to 0028. sshhhhh dont tell nobody but he lets you use a note card on the test. HW is optional, all grades come from test.

He is an awesome Mat 0028 Teacher. Grades test...everything else practice. He works like 50 problems on the board each class so take notes. DEF RECCOMEND Shrader
Best math teacher that I've ever had. He will definitely help you if you don't understand a problem. No homework because grades are based on 4 main tests plus final. He will curve your final grade. Plus he lets you use note cards on test. The only people who fail are the ones who don't come to class or pay attention.
Only bases your grades off of 4 test. If you are not a good test taker its not helpful. Very hard to understand.

He is the best math teacher. I'd been out of school for years and never thought I was any good at math. I took his summer Elementary Algebra class and the way he taught it made it completely understandable. He can be sarcastic, but don't take it personally because he's a great guy. HIGHLY recommend, esp. if you need a refresh of the basics!
He does his own teaching method which is way off from what a normal math teacher does, only has four tests and the final which are what he bases the grades off, he goes very fast and is all over the board. I would not recommend him if you are anything less than a genius. His style of teaching is very confusing and I would not take him again.
He is very helpful.He only assigns 4 tests throughout the semester and does not assign homework so it is your job to study and go over the material, but his tests are all multiple choice and he even shows you how to work the problem backwards on the test..I am not good in math and I passed his class.
Phenomenal teacher! Math was not always an easy subject for me and the way that he teaches really get you to remember and teaches you how to think. Best teacher I have ever had, everyone would be lucky to experience a great professor like him . Homework is for studying . Made math understandable n fun. Schools needs more teachers like him .

He is a great guy and really cares about the students. He is always available in his office to help the students, he is very clear on what he wants, his rubric is precise, and he answers all questions effectively. One of the best professors I have ever had!

Teaches very fast and when asked to slow down or do it again he gets frustrated that you didn't get it the 1st time. Doesn't care if you fail. He says, "no problem they offer this course every semester so you can take it again next semester". I am only passing because I go to the tutoring lab for help every week, and teach myself from literature.
He gives optional homework, I recommend to do it. His class is graded with only 4 tests the final is the forth test. ALWAYS take notes. Dont miss class. Dont be late, he'll call you out. He's honestly the best math professor I've ever had. He shows different ways to solves problems adjusting to your learning style. Very very funny would take again!
Dr. Schrader is one of the most genuinely amazing professors I have ever taken. I miss him very much and he helped me pass Algebra, which was definitely a challenge at the time. He is always available after class, he is passionate about helping, and he has great humor. By far, amazing person, extremely intelligent, and show up to class.
