Best professor that i have had ,taught us how to see economics in all aspect of everyday life. Got us to see and hear from CEO in the insurance and auto business. which was very educational and practical. Wish there were more teacher like him that really care.

Good professor but an even better person with a great heart! The class is easy as long as you just do the papers. With that being said, the papers are very long and single spaced especially the final which is 7-10 pages long. His lectures are very long and boring as well. He is very lenient though so you will get many extensions on your assignments

Lectures are pretty long, you have to write about 10, 3 page synopses on newspaper articles. Give your opinion when you want on the subject matter, & you should do well! I would recommend everyone to take Professor Batman for Eco 201. He was a very easy grader and caring professor. Instead of books, he teaches real life economics. He will make you write 7 senopsys and 2 take home research papers and done. I will be taking him again for Eco 202 in fall.

Prof Batman is a nice guy and he seems to understand the foundations of economics. ECON 110 is essentially a show-up-and-pass, with the exception of simple synopsis assignments. Easy A, if you can handle the long lectures.

Professor "Batman" is by far one of my favorite professors I have ever had. He is an honest, funny, bright man that really enjoys what he does. There are several papers that are due throughout the semester, however he gives you plenty of time to get them done. If you show up for class, and do all your work on time you will be fine!

I must profess, certain aspects of analysis and theoretical principles were out of my realm of mastery, but Prof. Batmanghelidj was extremely effective and described all topics and assignments so clearly that I could understand virtually everything. I took Micro at Virginia Tech and did not really enjoy the class. Therefore I decided to take Macro with Professor Batman (which is what all his students call him) at NOVA over the summer. He is a great professor. His classes are less focused on straight text but instead on real world events. He also gives life stories/advice and great notes.

Professor Batman was a really chill teacher. I only had about 6 papers and final that determined my overall grade. I will warn you though, that the papers were expected to be at least 3 pages long with size 10 single spaced font. He emailed the assignments to everyone so you don't necessarily need to be in class. Overall, a really chill teacher.

He loves calling everyone "my friend, my friend". He talks a lot about Oil and gas prices. He gives out 3 newspapers every class, (you don't actually have to read them.) The class is more like a current event class. He is always 30 mins late! His final is open notes (google it, he wants you to pass) And overall, its an easy A!

Professor Batman is a great man with a lot of wisdom. His classes can get a bit boring sometimes but sometimes very interesting cause all he talks about is current events. He is obsessed with looking at oil prices. Homework consists of synopsis (about 7 of them) and one big project which is pretty easy. The final is open book but lengthy.

Batman is an excellent professor. He is well spoken and creates a comfortable and light atmosphere. He is caring and forgiving, a sentimentalist by his own description. If you do the homework you should be good. He does not keep a blackboard or look at his email very often.

The class isn't difficult but the professor himself is a special person who shows an inordinate amount of care for his students. If you show respect for his class, he will always have a place for you in his schedule. He has a great deal of real-world experience and wisdom that will inevitably shine through his tangentially-related lectures.

At first I did not know how to feel about him but throughout the semester he has really helped me grasp a good idea on how this world works. He brings both sides of the world into the subject of economics and even discusses how current events are related to econ which makes it a lot more interesting to learn.
