Speaks very fast. Knows what he is doing.

Do not need to come to his class, except for $math(extra credit). Very emotional. He does all examples straight from the text.
This guy is the most emotional, and insensitive teacher i have ever had. Always complaining about something. He wastes too much time talking about other things besides math. Seldom starts class on time with all his talking. Laughs loudly during exam

He moves fast, and sometimes his explanations don't really explain anything. One key to his class: make sure you read over the section you'll be doing in class that day *before* you go to class. And try not to get too frustrated - but do your homework!!
has a lame 'middle school' thing, where he gives out math dollars you can redeem on your tests. you can get them by asking questions, cleaning the white boards, or even 'just because'. he also alows notes on tests.
Poor quality teaching. Additionally, he once said in class about how he recognizes past students - well, I saw him outside class on more than one occasion and after I greeted him he gave me a blank stare without a WORD, each time; so he's a liar as well.
I think this teacher explained the material very well. Another student in the Math 131 course commented that Adams says he recognizes people outside of class. Obviously this student wasn't listening because he said that he doesn't.Don't be so hard on him.
Best. Teacher. Ever.
I found David's class to be very enjoyable. His jokes raised morale, and he explains things very clearly. If you put some what of an effort in, he will more than likely pass you.
His tests are easy and he gives out 'math dollars' that can raise your grade. If you tend to show up every day and participate in class it's very easy to get a good grade. The problem is he explains things very poorly and doesn't teach the material well.
Dave is a great guy! He's entertaining, funny and very friendly. Unfortunately, he doesn't teach the material well. He teaches straight from the text book and offers very little extraneous information. Easy to pass the class but doesn't prepare you for further mathematic study.
He spends too much time telling personal anecdotes in class. If you have problems understanding a concenpt he will simply refer you to a section of the textbook instead of attempting to explain the concept in a different way.
This teacher is just a walking textbook. I don't believe he knew any of the material on his own. He should stick to teaching pre-calc.
Dave's AWESOME and hillerious!
Good teacher. Take him if you can get him.
i was very unprepared for 132 after taking this class. he spent more time telling stories then teaching us the material. I recomend davis all the way!
he is a really good guy, if u study hard, it's easy to get a high grade
YOUr my Boy Adams, your my boy.
Go dave,,, Go Dave ,,,, Go dave
Totally awsome guy!
well....i think i remember every story cuz he told em twice a few times...so if u multiiple the square root of the boringness and divide by the action sotires and then come to the conclusion that the tangent is as many bike rides as he takes in a day....it equals x
he requires a lot of homework but he has stats to prove that if you do the homework you will preform better.
Fun teacher, makes it easy to make it through class. Teaches well
Do not be fooled that he's a great teacher. He tells more stories about his girlfriend and son than teaching the material. His tests are very challenging which is not fair since he's a horrible teacher. He also tends to favor students too which makes it extremely annoying for others. I recommand not taking his class at all, waste of money.
teach very well, i like him... he makes me like math more...
Didn't do homework until the day before exams and got 150/150 on them....You'de have to be pretty dang dumb to not catch all of his hints that he gives you about what the tests are going to be on. ("I like THIS problem...") He's not an extremely good teacher; I've noticed girls hate him and guys generally like him.
He doesn't teach, he just talks a million miles an hour and solves problems in the books and treats math dollars like government handouts.
This class is all text book, smart teacher knows his stuff, but writes examples on the board and doesn,t fully explain himself. he usually second guesses himself not giving much confidence in his abilities. The good is he pretty much tells you what is on the tests and exams. easy to pass if you pay attention and do the homework
He is a terrible teacher if you need that one to two second pause between his talking to keep up with taking notes. He definatly plays favorites to some students and it makes you sick to hear him praise a student that does not do any more than others. He oes not answer Q's about H/Wunless he feels like it! Hhe will make you look stupid for asking!
nice guy. however teaches rite out of the book. and there's this binder everyone has to finish by the end of the year. has to have all the HW done, Test corrections, ...all your test and quizes. lots of work and teaches out of book. he does the books examples on the board and that's it.
A very nice person with a fun personality. A great teacher that you can communicate with but can't learn with. He taught straight from the text book, so why not study on your own? If you're a type of student that needs a paitent teacher to show and explain to solve math problems...he's not a teacher you're looking for.
this guy's not the finest by any means...teaches straight from book, talks WAY too much about things i don't care about...and wtf's up with that binder thing? seriously, think twice about him...
he didn't spend much time in explaining the questions,he assumed everyone understands the problem i guess...
this teacher, is a freakin' carzy teacher.. and what's up with that file we have to turn in by the end of the quarter? that sucks dude... seriously, if u wanna take his class, RECONSIDER! he teaches straight from the book and avoiding all the challenging questions.. so why don't we just spend our time at the library reading the test book?!
I dontknow why people keep saying he isnt a good teacher. I failed math in highschool and this is the only time I understand math. Hes really fun in class and its a plus about the file because if you work etc outside of school it gives you plenty of time to finish the homework.
He is funny and nice. I suck at Math but I understand what he says in class. And What's wrong with the examples from textbook thing? I love it
There is a decent amount of homework that is all collected from a binder at the end of the quarter. A good system if you are a busy person since it allows you to do the work when you want as long as its done by the end. Clear explanations, tests are pulled DIRECTLY from homework assigned and quizzes taken. Math doesn't get much easier than thi
Very helpful and always try to help.
He's a humorous guy. There is lots of homework to do, but if you do the homework, it is easy to get a great score in the test. He likes to give students math dollar that can add to your score of each test directly. Tests foucs on homework problems, and it is not hard to get a high grade in his class.
I really like this teacher. He is always available to help you out, his office is always open. I really like how he engages the class. MATH DOLLARS RULE!
Davids Adams is BIPOLAR and sucks at teaching math DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS!
Dave is an amazing teacher, if you put effort into this class and in listening to him and applying what he teaches you will get an A hands down favorite teacher so far.
He is not a good Math teacher. He likes to use Math dollars to add extra credit though. I think he likes to BS during the class. He is not so helpful to those who really want to learn Math.
He is ok. He uses math dollar as an extra credit. All he does in class is solve and explain the example in the textbook. His test is not really hard, but sometime there are some problems come from...nowhere. He teaches and speaks fast, but overall he is good.
Dave is really friendly and interesting to listen to. He does move fast and skip steps so you have to pay attention or ask if you lose him. He is amazingly good at doing math and because of that he sometimes gets ahead of me. Other than that i would have to say he has been one of my favorite teachers so far. MATH DOLLARS ARE THE BOMB!!
This professor clearly and blatantly favors the male gender. He calls on them more in class and rewards them more. He also doesn't care about your study habits and how each individual learns best. It's his way or a bad grade! If you're a guy take his class, ladies STAY AWAY!
He's the worst math teacher I've ever had. How? He gets mad easily. He talks about his life too much, which i've probably learned more about. He teaches at his own pace; if you fall behind then tough luck. You learn more from the book, teacher provides no clarity. He is a special ed teacher that should not be teaching college students at all.
Dave Adams is a great teacher. I'm female and I completely disagree that he favors guys more. Great class for independent learners but students who really depend on teachers babying them through class will be sorely disappointed. Math dollars rock, and doing the homework is an absolute must for a good grade, although it's really not that hard.
spends more time talking about his life than teaching. hands down worst teacher ever. never been more disgusted with teaching styles and personality. acts like were kids and praises w/ math dollars. has stupid sarcasim and stupid jokes which are really not funny. AT ALL. took 4 points off every problem wrong disregarding the total= 0
Once informed us he washed 59 pairs of socks at once. Wastes class time and then flies through the book examples and says now you can do the homework. Expects us to memorize how to do the problems so when we see them on a test we can do them fast but in calc problems are all different and impossible to memorize the hw. Learning by rote isn't ideal.
This instructor speaks at an unreasonable speed, will not take the time to answer homework questions in class, and is under the impression that his students should already share his level of mathematical skill and understanding. During class he is often condescending and will spend plenty of time explaining why he doesn't have time to explain.
If you need credits for Math class, take his class. If ur seriously in taking math class, like wanna study more about math, take another class, not his. This class only for ppl who need credits, like me lol
basically, he sets you up for failure and likes to watch you suffer so he could feel smarter than you.
Dave Adams is a great teacher. He gives out extra credid, drops your worse quiz grade, and lets you replace a test with the final. He expects you to do your homework. Most of the questions in the test come from your homework, so if you do your homework you should be fine. He goes over homework problems with the class. He is a very helpful teacher.
Took this class two quarters ago and after taking the same class with another teacher, it was easy to see how Adams is so much better. He is very clear on his steps and makes few mistakes. If you do the homework, you should have no trouble succeeding in the class. Don't do it, and you'll fail.
Fair teacher. You do the work, you get the grade. Allows a cheat sheet during tests. Wastes a lot of time explaining why he is going too fast, and then goes on random tangents about what happened in his life or the news. I think he may have adult adhd.
He is a definately good person, but his teaching way is bad. #He really loves mathmatics, so he solves problems alone and very quickly. #Extra credit, Math Dollar, oh boy.. that makes me beg to get one. #quiz and test are not that easy. every quiz and test is from homework, but you have to spend time for explaining why.
Mr. Adams is a good teacher. He is caring, funny, and he really cares for his students that put in the effort. He gets frustrated when students are disrespectful and don't put in the effort as I believe he should. We are in college after all....I would recommend him to anyone. Keep an open mind, do your homework, and be respectful!
He is okay. A bit tricky on test, and your GPA is highly depends on your test. Weired grading style.
fair teacher. knows what he is doing.
He would go off on random rants sometimes. And for the final binder he made us turn in, I did exactly what he asked and he failed me because of it. Otherwise he is a fairly good teacher I suppose
Cool guy. Instruction is clear, as is what you're expected to know. He's also pretty entertaining and friendly outside of class. Encourages you strongly to use his office hours, so a lot of one on one help is available. Also a lot of extra credit. I highly recommend Adams.
He is really a good teacher ! He gave a lot of math dollars for those who are active in his class. Although his explanation is quite fast, I can clearly get it. Great teacher overall!
Teaches straight from the book, expects you to memorize the examples and come to class knowing 90% of the material. Unknowingly wastes time talking about stupid crap; he would smile a lot and be happy all the time, but behind his stupid smirk he seriously is devious. He degrades students with math dollars which are like pity xtra cr. but degrading.
first time teaching statistics, not bad. However, his explanation kinda weird and confusing sometimes. He really nice, though. He was very helpful. If you do the homework, then you'll be fine for the tests
Math146 such a hard class but I think his teaching is successful. He require lots of self study and tell us what will be on test. It's really hard and alomst drive me crazy last quarter but I really learned a lot in his class than my friend in other teacher's class. The thing he teaches is very useful. Prepare to WORK VERY HARD if you chose him.
Really friendly and does a good job creating a nice class atmosphere. Examples done in class are quite easy, while test problems can be difficult. Not unreasonably difficult, but it can come as a surprise if you're lulled into a false sense of security. That said, I recommend him wholeheartedly.
I really liked the way he sets up his class. Do your homework and you will be prepared for the quiz. Quizzes are short and help to prepare you for the test. Study your test and quizzes and they help you on the final. Math dollars are helpful to win points and he is sort of funny, makes it enjoyable.
He looks and act nice. but I think he is fed up teaching. Proof, one he stick on the text book nothing but the text book. he is not comfortable teaching any example outside the text. second, instead of showing his work step by step on the board he erases and modifies the same step to the end. Third he spends a lot of time on basic simple stuff ...
Really nice guy, got off topic a lot during class. However, he was always ready to help you at office hours. As long as you're nice to him, he's a really nice teacher who tries hard to make you understand the math.
nice but moody guy. poor way of teaching. maths is to be shown step by step. He also abuses the maths dollar he create, not fair for shy students. it looks like he calculated how much A's he gives out. doesn't consider your effort.
The lectures in the class were confusing and did't make sense. I took good notes though and then all of the notes I took during the lectures made sense around the last week of the quarter. His tests are not unreasonable but can be difficult if you miss a day or two of class. NEVER MISS THE REVIEW DAYS. He is a good guy and is available for help.
difficult class, but if you have trouble, got o his office hours. His teaching is sometimes unclear because he goes straight out of the textbook, but he his more than willing to help you understand in his office hours
I didn't like his way of teaching. It was mostly confusing and he teaches the material very fast. He doesn't like students to ask questions because his time is limited. He hates students to arrive late and spends 2 minutes explaining why being late interrupts the lecture and how his time is very limited. Math dollars are not fair.
The class itself is very hard, but Adams tries to help his students in every way he can. If you have more than 1 or 2 questions go to his office. You can go to his office the day of a test and ask questions too. Math dollars are fairly easy to get. Math dollars are fairly easy to get as long as you are involved in class, and are prepared.
Tells a lot of stories, but I liked them, they kept me from getting too bored. I disagree that his math dollars are degrading, I think they are a helpful reward for paying attention in class and having the confidence to speak up about mistakes you think he has made. Easy to do well if you do the work, especially if you speak up for math dollars.
Keeps it simple so dont overthink!
This is the best mathematic teacher I have ever had ! He gives a lot of extra credit if you do the homework and find his mistake while he is teaching. He is a great teacher with an effective study method !
While the material can be difficult I was pleased that David made it easier to understand and was willing to take questions. He was always available and encouraged used of his office hours. If you are willing to put in the necessary time to read, take notes, go to class and study you can do well in his class.
NOT a good teacher. If you are looking for a calc refresher course take this class. otherwise avoid at all costs! He just clicks through slides and says it's okay they're all online. I learn absolutely nothing in class. Everyday I go home and have to look up videos on Khan Academy because he teaches so poorly. You'd be better off w/ online class!
He's a really good teacher! Statistics is not an easy subject in the first place, but Dave makes it doable if you do your part as a student by doing hw, reading the textbook, asking questions, ect. He gives extra credit if you do your hw everyday. I found this class easy after taking calculus, but might be harder for people who just took math 90.
He is a fine teacher but i dont like the way he teaches. He teaches really fast and assume that the students already know what he is teaching which was really unfair. I always had confusion when I left the class. Also, when students try to ask questions he says "come on dont waste my time with that obvious question". I would not recommend him.
He is really good teacher overall. Yes he does move through the lessons quickly. If you show him that your trying your best, he is more than happy to help and answer your questions. This class is easy for those whose strong-suit is math. But overall, its not a hard class to pass.
if you have questions he tells you to stay after class. he goes through the lessons super fast and if you get confused you pretty much have to go home and go over everything again. He can be mean when it comes to getting something right . he says its okay to be wrong but then again he chuckles at your answers which makes you feel bad in class.
I wasted my time and money with this professor. He was rude and disrespectful and did not teach me a thing. Spent all his time handing out math dollars which took away from him teaching the class. I don't believe he knew anything about statistics because he would spend a lot of time not teaching and focus on the importance of NOT being late
Dave is a great teacher! I would take him again any day. He gives out so much extra credit in math dollars, and genuinely cares about your success in the class. If you put in effort he will notice, but be sure you go to class everyday as attendance is important to him. Overall, if you try you will pass with an 3.8 at least.
I took Math 90 with him during fall 2014. He explains things very fast and is sometimes not clear. He assumes that all students are on the same pace and understand what he's teaching. I learn all the materials for this class myself since I always had confusions when I leave the class.
Amazing teacher! Inspires his students, is very available to help you, and is very straightforward with his material. He's also pretty funny and keeps class interesting by telling funny and somewhat relevant stories.
You have to get the code for mystatlab, so buy the book and code. However, textbook use is rare. The tests are generally the same each quarter. His clarity was difficult for me, as he would often stress things that were insignificant to the overall scope of the test. Expect the unexpected with this guy...
Lectures are fast, disorganized and hard to follow. Often says "you don't have to write this down, we will cover it later" then does not go over material again. Although he is very nice, pretty funny, and gives extra credit, I would suggest a different instructor.
I would suggest another teacher. Rushes through everything, jumps from idea to idea and dosent explain very will. Will write on the board and then proccesed to tell you not write it down, but when it comes to the powerpoint he rushes through and says "we already went through this" Gives EC but I feel it its because he knows he teaches poorly.
He gives math dollars for doing your homework online every night. I personally like this class just because I like math. Its not a very hard class at all, just very different. The most you'll do is multiply and divide numbers. Adams was pretty nice in class but I could tell he didn't like the ones who asked too many questions or didn't show up.
It's really hard to get enough unless you want to get an F. He makes it very clear that he has office hours. Homework is all done online which is nice. Always come to class prepared with your notes, always review the sections. All of his lectures are on Canvas. Do you homework so you get math dollars, those are extra credit points. GOOD LUCK FAM
His lectures and power points are unclear and helpless. He makes learning statistics a lot tougher than it should be. I recommend taking Brenda Tinnings stats class. She made a lot more sense and is overall a better professor than Dave Adams
Amazing guy, challenges you. Webassign in essential, study the abnormal homework problems and his slides (especially the ones that say important). He doesn't like lazy students, he expects a lot from you but you will learn a lot. He has passion for his subjects, LOVES questions. Nothing surprising on the final, his grading policy is good.
Best statistics teacher out there! Gives math dollars if you really try your best, and consistently do homework each night. This class will definitely prove if you are ready for college level classes. His class is challenging like most classes, but also fun. DEFINITELY TAKE HIS CLASS!!
One of the best math teachers I've ever had! His lectures are quick, so stay focused and he tells you what to take notes of. He posts every lecture, quiz review, and test review online so you won't miss much. His tests/quizzes are basically the reviews and he reuses questions from previous tests/quizzes. Gives extra credit just doing HW daily!
If you do the homework every night and read the upcoming section the night before, you'll do just fine. He's very clear on what he expects from his students. He uploads a study guide for each test and quiz and tells exactly what will be on it. Lectures can be confusing at time, but if you read the book and ask questions, you should be okay.
He is an amazing teacher. He is very clear about what you must learn and focus on during the course. If you do that, you will end up doing very well. Doing homework and coming to class is the most important in his class. You get math dollars as extra credit if you do homework and it helps alot in test. overall, he is a great teacher.
In Statistics he is so helpful it is unreal. He is SO SO clear about what you need to know and reinforces it through the homework. Listen to the lecture do the homework before class (as this gives u a bonus point on tests) and i promise you will do very well. Cares and tries hard to get everyone to do well offers tons of free time to help you.
This class was unbelievable. So many quizzes and tests! Tests were 150 points and he made you memorize the chapter sections. Which had nothing to do with statistics! He's big on memorization. I would NOT recommend him!
Best math teacher by far. He is very clear on what he expects his students to know. before every test and quiz he does a great job reviewing material. Some of the questions during his review are on the test/quiz so show up. Homework isn't due till end of quarter but you get extra credit if you do it on time. He will let you drop a quiz and test.
Dave is awesome if you put in effort and care about doing well. He is very good at explaining and always gives you the opportunity to ask questions and get clarification. If you do homework as it's assigned you get extra credit points on the tests. If you get a total of 100% on the tests, you don't have to take the final.
Dave is a great professor. He really cares and knows a lot about statistics. He covers material quickly and efficiently and uploads his lecture material online for easy access later. He also awards students for coming to class on time with the daily homework completed. If you put in effort and really pay attention to his teaching, you'll do well.
Great Guy, Very Helpful.
He makes you use a lot of technology in order to solve really difficult problems that would otherwise be done long hand. This makes the class very unique compared to other Stat classes. And it actually makes homework easier. Make sure you do your homework everyday because he will give extra to those who stay on top of their homework. Take him!
Great teacher, always answered e-mails within 24 hours. Likes to use technology to solve hard and long problems, for test he will give you tips during the exam to help improve your grade. If you take Stats online like I did, you can work ahead of the class and finish early.
One of the best professors I've ever had ! He really cares for students' success. Quizzes and exams have no surprises. A lot of reading and learning, but it's worth it! I took this class two years ago
David Adams is incredibly enthusiastic about his field! He tells stories relevant to the coursework, and also tells some stories not at all related to the coursework, but it's all part of the DAdams experience. Pretty easy if you pay attention in class and follow along with the online homework. 10000/10 best teacher :D
Best math teacher I have ever had. Lectures are great, and he will stop to explain something more in depth if someone asks. Gives you extra credit points as an incentive to do better. The way the class works is so fair. Its based on what you put in is what you get. If you do the work and study the material for quizzes and tests, youll get an A.
Dave Adams is a wonderful teacher. I took his hybrid stat class, so we met once a week to discuss the chapters that were due that week or to ask questions and what not. He was very helpful with any questions and responds quickly. If you watch his homework help videos and ask questions there is no reason you wouldnt pass.
there isnt any work done on canvas, its weekly homework assignments and a chapter quiz on mystatslab online through the textbook. good class, good teacher, not all that hard. he gave a great review for the exam which helped a lot.
David is a wonderful professor. His lecture is very well-organized. His teaching make statistiacs easy to understand. Before each quiz and exam, he will guide students to review and this part is very helpful for the students get a good score. You will get a high score in this class if you follow his guidance.
I was recalling good teachers I've had, and Dave Adams came to mind. I had him as instructor back in 2005, and he was one of the few teachers that showed genuine passion in his student's success. It's not too common to see that nowadays!
I took him fall 2018. He was the best teacher I've ever had. His study guide is clear and will help you with the tests and quizzes. If you studied, you'll do great. He gives lots of extra credits.
This math class is EASY! All the math is done on statcrunch, BUT watch all his video's on canvas before doing the HW and you will pass with flying colors. He shows you how to do the problems. No final but 2 tests each worth 25% of your grade. I suck at math and I passed with a A. I took the class online and is proctored but still really easy.
This has to be the best class I have ever taken. He makes it as easy as it could possibly be with lots of lecture videos you could watch to remember what you did in class and most of his homework is on start crunch. I can go on and on about how amazing his class is, definitely an easy A!!!
This instructor has a policy for his online class that if students cannot pass 2 tests with average of 60% in each, the final grade will be 1.7. I found this course very stressful and unfair while most of the online class is about learning how Statcrunch is working, not really learning the math.
I took this class online, as we are in a pandemic, this was my 1st math course I took at college and it was pretty easy. He had given extra credit if we did the tests a day before. He also takes off the lowest 2 grades for the quizzes. If you watch all the lectures and homework you should be fine.
The class curriculum does have frequent homework and quizzes, but the lectures and homework help make it really easy to understand it all. He also gives extra credit for the tests. As long as you watch all his lectures + HW help videos and do the homework, you should be fine on the quizzes/tests, which are pretty similar to the homework in general.
His lectures are easy to understand and the hw helps as well. His test study guides are basically the test questions as well. He let me retake quizzes because he wanted me to get a 4.0 in the class. And he lets you work ahead. There's a lot of work but if you watch his lectures then the hw is easy.
Super super great professor, hope i can take more of his classes in the future! There is quite a bit of work, but if you watch the lecture videos and hw help you will do great. Super clear expectations, he wants you to work ahead. Homework is very similar to the quizzes, and you can retake quizzes 3 times. Responds promptly with good help!
I am AWFUL at anything regarding math. I was terrified to take stats. However, my view quickly changed with Mr. Adams. He is a great teacher. He tells you how to be successful in his class. He provides you with lectures, text, and other sources to learn more. Mr. Adams sets up his class for you to be successful. You just have to put the work in.
Like many, math is my sticking point. Adam's class changed that. His lectures are amazing and he does an excellent job of explaining and working through the HW. He provides extra credit opportunities. When I started, I hoped I might pull a C in the class. I put in the time/energy and walked away with an A-. This class is a must if you need Math146.
I took Statistics back in 2019 and got a 2.0 and I learned nothing. I took David Adams math&146 and I actually learned a lot and he made instructors and grading criteria very fair and clear. Great class would take again 10/10 best professor ever at Edmonds Community College
This course is 100% online without lectures. However, there are lecture or HW help videos that assist a lot in solving questions. Not tremendous, but some work to do, but they are directly associated with quizzes or exam questions. A lot of extra credits which are exam score-dependent. Easy A if you make a plan and do some work steadily.
Professor Adams is probably the most easygoing professor I've ever had. The extra credit he provides isn't even necessary to end up with a high A in the class since the homework, quizzes, and exams have the same problems. In fact, it was so simple that I wish the exams were more challenging to help me with my critical thinking skills.
Super helpful, fast-paced class but easy to follow along with.
If you actually watch his lecture videos and spend an hour each class day, you should be just fine. BUT if you don't, they pile up and you're screwed. Also, he is ready to retire so very nice and excited for his career and the future. I hope the gentleman enjoys the rest of his life in joy!!!
Professor Adams runs a straightforward class with lots of support. The homework, quizzes, and exams follow a similar format, making it easy to prepare. I found unstuck ai and its practice quizzes especially helpful for studying.
He's a very nice easy-going teacher. Very helpful and wants everyone to succeed. His online lectures are very informative and he provides homework-help videos. It's a fast pace class so definitely work ahead! Only two tests that are proctored. The homework questions assigned to study for the test are the same questions on the test! Easy class!
Mr. Adams uses his own videos from a few years ago to teach and another video for homework help on Pearson. Almost everything on the homework is on the 2 exams he gives. His practice exams are extremely long (4hrs & 8hrs), but unavoidable to get a good grade. His steps to get Pearson are outdated and cannot help with it, but he's a good teacher.
Very understanding & respectful. The content is online, even if you sign up for in person. Homework every day, but it is manageable. There is a lecture video, and homework help video per section. There is one quiz per chapter (12 chapters) & open notes. 2 exams that are recorded through Honor lock. No notes on midterm, 2 pages of notes on final.
This was a pretty easy class. The whole course is doing homework and 1 quiz each chapter based on his own lecture vids. He makes a vid going through the hw for every assignment and is easy to get help from. there's also a midterm and final, but the final doesnt cover anything from the midterm. Just stay on top of the work and youll be good.
