Well the semester just started but he is very good and funny. I can't believe I love this class! I hope I get more opportunities to take classes from him. Best accounting instructor ever!

Dave was definitely the best accounting teacher at SLCC. He does a great job at teaching the material so you understand, but as well keeping the class interesting and fun. I would definitely recommend his class.

What a great instructor!! He is very helpful and willing to go above and beyond!! Not to mention he wears the cutest sweater vests. He is hilarious and down to earth. I totally recommend his classes!

He's a teacher that makes his subject fun. He tends to have a lot of passion for accounting and it captures you.

Pretty good teacher, would take him again. he makes accounting seem less boring than it is. Although word to the wise, do not sit in the front row because likes to pick on the ones who sit in the front row, or anyone else that responds to him. Funny guy though.

Very clear teaching method. Able to explain concepts well. Class assignments were clear & well put together. Fairly unstructured environment is great for those of us who want the freedom to use our time the way we see fit.

Dave is a great, entertaining teacher. If you do your homework, ask questions and participate (which you generally have no control over as he makes everyone join discussions and practice), you'll enjoy his class.

Great teacher ! Teaches a really enjoyable class and makes it entertaining with his comments and clothing choice. Not a super easy class but he will help you if you need it.

I took this course online. It's a lot of work, but the interactive system helped me learn the concepts well. Professor Alldredge responded quickly to emails. He held a review for the final that helped prepare us to do well on it. He is a fun teacher and it was a great class. Don't fall behind though.

Dave is probably the best accounting professor at SLCC. He is very sarcastic with his humor. But makes the class entertaining. The homework is out of the book and online. This class you will take your quizes and exams online. STAY ON TOP OF YOUR HOMEWORK! Or you'll fall behind. If you do the homework and take good notes, you should be able to pass.

Dave is a good instructor, his lectures make you understand more. he is poor for responding to e-mails

Really liked the course but there is no margin for error since all homework is submitted on computer.

Prof Alldredge is very thorough & explains things clearly! He's an expert & will help you understand everything even if Acctg is not your thing! All exams, except final, are open book/notes & online, with plenty of online references to help you learn! He encourages & motivates you to want to succeed!

Compared to other professors (see Cortlane Firth), Alldredge is completely opposite & goes out of his way to help you learn, succeed, & pass the final! He gives you all semester to work on OL exams, quizzes, & homework! He explains things carefully so by the end of classtime you'll understand & do well! If his classes fill up, it's no suprise!

Awesome teacher. He is funny and makes the class a little more interesting. He is very fair with grading and makes sure that the material is well known and studied.

Excellent teacher, if you want to learn accounting, Dave knows it, has private business experience that he uses to explain. If he is still on a diet bring a banana he gets grumpy when he's hungry ( take's the hunger edge off). I appreciate a professor that try's to improve the teaching system. I hope the new learning program is accepted, Loved it!

Dave is the best accounting teacher in SLCC! definately a red chili pepper ;) His lectures are all online so the class time is used for questions and discussions. He gives time in class to work together in groups to do homework, and he helps when you need it. I actually look forward to going to class because he made it enjoyable.

I luv dave. He is so funny and he makes it exciting to come to class. If you go to class and follow his instruction you will do well and that shouldn't be a problem cuz he makes it fun to go to class. he trys to make his lectures interesting and we do a lot of group work. I can't wait to take the 3rd acct class from him. :)great sense of humor

Dave is one of the best accounting professors at SLCC! I highly recommend taking his class. He has a great business background and applies his experience to his teaching. He structures his classes by having a day with questions you may have from chapter pretests, open class discussions, as well as doing homework in groups. He makes the class fun!

Great teacher, explains students questions well. He can really relate to students and teach accounting in a way that is very easy to understand. I would definitely reccomend taking accounting from him. He does need to work on his style though, every class he looks like a model from GQ magazine gone wrong

Dave's awesome! he can be somewhat of a smart ass but it is fun and keeps the class exciting. Accounting is a little cahllenging as it is, but if you need the help he is right on it. he is also very quick to respond if you have any questions anytime! I'd take him for another class and if you have to take accounting i would take it from him! Great!

I took this class online and found it to be somewhat challenging. I was pleased with the teacher, however. His podcasts were helpful and he was pretty responsive to questions/emails. I would recommend taking a class from him.

This teacher is a very good teacher if you like the online/in-class kind of learning all tests and homework are done online and he is helpful in class but at home you have to watch videos and teach yourself. Very nice guy and good teacher.

I took this class online it was organized, had useful learning tools, and followed the book. He does an in person final review, which made me wish I took the class in person. He seemed very nice, cracked jokes, and seemed like he wanted to make sure everyone understood.

Dave was pretty non existent throughout the semester. He really lacks in updating student grades (grades in MyBizLab). I think he upgraded my grades maybe four times in the semester. Really made it hard to understand where my grade stood. Other than that a good professor!

What can I say, Dave is awesome. He made this very class easy. Tests are online and you get 2 attempts. Final is easy if you study. Responds to emails very quickly. podcasts are short. So take this class from dave he's good like that. one thing I did not like was that dave only taught Monday's & bob taught on Wednesday, but Dave really knows best.

Accounting is a tough subject and he forces you to learn it... there is so much expected from you in this class. I would highly suggest his class and would take it again. There is tons of material to cover and he does a good job of covering it all. best way to get through the class is with a study group. Definitely not an easy A.

This class was pretty easy but you still learn a lot. He gives extra credit for turning in assignments on time which helps keep you motivated. He responds to any questions in a timely manner. Definitely recommend!

Quality Prof. Hybrid format takes advantage of in-class time to work on assignments in group. Lectures in the form of very well made videos cover each chapter well. Very generous with exams, while also providing plenty of resources to truly learn. Allowed me to take final early when I had a schedule conflict. Will take again. PARTICIPATE IN CLASS

Very clearly set up class. 3 test, one paper and a final. That's all you're graded for, everything else is just so you learn to subject. You get what you put into this class, if you read and do the practice test/mastery assignments you are good, if you don't do anything you wont pass. Great teacher, I am taking him next semester too.

Professor Alldredge made Business 1010 Online so easy for me I couldn't believe it! His schedule is very well planned out and he is very easy to get a hold of, and he is good about getting back to you quickly. He let's you turn in late work without a penalty, but if you turn in your work on time you get extra credit. So easy. Would take again!

Seriously love Alldredge! I would take all my classes from him! He is very laid back and lets you be responsible for learning the material. As an Accounting Major, I honestly loved it. I like flexibility and the way he sets up his assignments and tests! Totally take him if you can, avoid Shauna!

The set up of his online class is so easy to understand and follow! He has multiple video lectures for each chapter to help you understand the material. No busy work, 12 chapter to study, three test (each test had a retake and drops lowest of three), one paper, and the final exam. Of the dozen or so online classes I've taken this was the best!

Really well organized online class. 12 chapters with a video lecture by the professor for each one, three tests (w/ two attempts), one paper, one extra credit, and the final exam. He's quick to respond to emails about everything. I used my book rarely. I wouldn't take accounting online again but would take it with this professor again if I could.

Professor Alldredge gives a very rigorous online class in the summer. A lot of textbook reading, lectures, and assignments. He responds when approached, but doesn't really give much feedback, since the course is so direct, and the way it functions doesn't require much feedback. His segments in the online lectures are specific and easy to follow.

Great teacher. Took the class online. This was a 1/2 semester class, so we had a module due each week, which was reading, watching some videos and answering questions. If you turn it in on time, you get extra credit. Easy to work with and if you do the work, you'll pass easily.

Prof. Alldredge is a cool guy! He is so understanding of specific life events that make it difficult to get your work done EXACTLY on the due date, while that isn't a reason to take a class it is nice to know. I appreciated the flow of modules/lectures and the understanding that continued to build on each unit.

I LOVED Him! For starters his teaching style is awesome, you watch the lectures at home and take notes at your on pace, then you do the required assignments in class with his help. He is super patient and helpful. His grading is plain and simple and he offers extra credit. Honestly if you attend class and do the work with him its guaranteed A.

Great Professors! I was dreading this class as I am definitely not going into accounting but needed to take this class for my Business AS. Would definitely recommend his class to anyone.

Dave is a sarcastic, yet funny man. He was so helpful in learning the material, and his flipped classroom model was a dream. There are video lectures, pre tests and homework to do before class, and in class, we work on the homework together. As long as you do the prework homework and come to class, you can earn extra credit and get help from him.

In accounting it is a lot of hard work. Dave helps you with all his videos that he makes and also gives you time in class to learn the material. He also works with you if you need help and continues to work until you get it.

Online class and he provides video lectures which are extremely helpful. Homework is extra credit so I would really suggest you get those done. Tests can be taken twice for higher credit and there are only 3 and 1 final. I got an A and I never thought that would be possible. I would def take him again. No late work accepted.

Professor Alldredge was such a great teacher. He makes it almost impossible to not get an A in his class, because he gives you so many different resources that you can use to understand the material. You can tell he really cares if his class gets good grades. He was very helpful when I asked him how to do any problem. I would def take him again.

Dave is great! The lectures are watched on your own time at home. It is worth taking the time to watch them, so you can take notes. You will get extra credit by going to class and having notes. Trust me. TOTALLY worth it. Everything in class is done with in groups. You do the homework in class, so no homework unless you do not show up to class.

I was nervous to take this class online, but as long as you do the practice assignment's you'll be fine. There were 3 exams, lowest will be dropped - And you can take all 3 exams twice. all the homework is extra credit.

Dave is the only online prof I have to actually produce unique lecture videos for the course. Tests are made by textbook co., keep up with the work. It's basically 6 hrs of work for 3 hrs credit, so it is easy to slack all semester and do poorly on the final. Great class, informative.

I am only half way through this semester, but had to write a review already. I'm enrolled in ACCT2600 class online. Professor Alldredge did an amazing job setting up this course for his students. I was a bit nervous taking and ACCT class but he has made it a breeze and an interesting subject to study! I TOTALLY RECOMMEND TAKING HIM!

Dave really enjoys what he does. He made his own videos which are available and free for his students on YouTube. He gives feedback and is helpful with questions. Very generous with extra credit. Really enjoyed this class.

Easy class as long as you do all the assignments. Easy to fall behind but if you do all the assignments when they are due you get extra credit. You can turn in most assignments at the end of the semester if you wanted to. Just take the quizzes find the answers in the book you are good. Extra credit if you follow him on Instagram.

Dave is a great teacher. The way he uses the "flip the class" technique actually works. The tests are the heaviest graded topics but you are allowed to retake each one once. (Hint have your previous test open in another browser, this will help you a lot) Also, make sure you go to every class since you do the HW in class.

Dave is extremely helpful and teaches the material well. But the material is difficult and you do need to take time and study it. He does give you the tools to understand how to complete each part in accounting though. Plus he gives you every opportunity to pass with time to do homework (and ask questions in class), and even gives you extra credit.

Professor Alldredge does a great job teaching this class online. His lecture videos are a great resource to understanding the content in the textbook. If you turn in your assignments on time, you can learn a decent amount of extra credit. You also have the option of taking exams twice to increase your score.

The flipped classroom model is AMAZING! Watch videos at home, earn extra credit for coming to class and do the assignments in class. He has a great sense of humor and really cares about your learning. There is so much practice that every exam feels super easy. I really enjoyed this class and felt a lot more comfortable on the final than in 2010.

I took the hybrid version of this class and didn't enjoy the structure of it very much. Dave is a great professor and he knows his stuff. There is a lot of homework and exams are your whole grade.

Dave does a flip class setting where you work in groups. Beware of carrying other students who don't do their reading & homework. Keep up with both & you'll do fine. He gives you two attempts at the 3 exams. Preps you well for the final. He gives extra credit points for showing up to class which is in your best interest to attend. Responds to email

Professor Alldredge is a fantastic professor. He makes sure you have opportunity to pass his class by giving incentive to actually come to class and learn. He is one of the proffessors that really cares about his students. Highly recommend taking his class.

Second online course I have taken from him. I have never felt the need to rate a professor before, but Dave is such a great professor, I had to. He gives plenty of opportunity for extra credit, turning in late work, second attempts on exams. He cares more that you learned the material. You have to really not care to get a bad grade in his class.

Prof Alldredge shows that he cares about his students and allows extra credit points for just keeping up and staying on schedule. His video lectures cover the material so that you can get by without having to read through the confusing textbook and he allows for retakes on the exams. Definitely one of my favorite professors i have had.

professor alldredge is a super nice guy and gave me an extension on an exam when i had an emergency! he doesnt have a late work policy, and his online lectures are easy to understand, especially for such a tough subject! he offers lots of resources and help! i would definitely recommend!!

One of the best professors at SLCC, if you are reading this, you wont regret taking his courses. He was very prepared and very helpful with tons of resources everywhere for help as well as leaving his office and DM's always open. He's probably the best ACCT professor at SLCC hands down. I was impressed at how simple he made ACCT for me to learn.

Best teacher I had this semester. Made learning accounting very easy, practically guides you through each homework. Had his own workbook that explains the concepts very well and used simple excel worksheets to aid in the homework.

Professor Alldredge runs a great class. The lectures are informative, and he offers helpful resources like extra credit and multiple exam attempts. Using tools like Unstuck ai alongside the textbook can really aid study prep.

If you took Accounting 2010 at SLCC, it's very similar to that. He creates these Excel sheets that help you work through all of the assignments and exams, which was great. This class was definitely the one I spent the most time on, but that could just be the nature of accounting. If I had to take ACCT2020 again, I would take it with him.
