Can be very boring to listen too, in FIN-350 the homework helps a lot with points. The midterm and final were hard really study for both.

By far one of my favorite professors. Finance is not the most entertaining class unless you like that kind of stuff but he always jokes around and tries to make the class entertaining. Homework is pretty easy but midterm and final are difficult. Make sure to read the textbook and use excel in order to pass exams.

He is a really good teacher who truly cares about his students passing the class. If you ever need help with the homework he makes himself available during his office hours for you. He also cares about his students' future careers and will give mentorship advice. World class professor !!

Awesome professor! He's super funny and likes to make jokes all throughout the lecture. If you just show up and get good grades on the homework (which he gives you the answers to) it should be an easy A!

Dave Blackledge is the perfect teacher for Ethical and Legal issues in business. He is an attorney and teaches with real world examples and gives the class insight beyond the power points. It is an interactive class and you go through real case studies and have to come up with outcomes. Super fun.

AWESOME TEACHER! Lectures are the main thing in this class but as long as you show up and listen and do the few assignments you'll be fine in this class. He is pretty funny too so Dave is a pretty solid teacher.

Blackledge was a great professor, and he shared a lot of his knowledge with the class. His lectures are very long and dull, and I never felt well-prepared for any of the 4 exams, which were 150 points each. If you want to do well in the class, you need to READ the book, like.. really read it. Aside from that, he really cares about his students.

Dave Blackledge is a great professor for this class! He has a lot of real-life experience in the class material and always gives good advice to us outside the textbook. He always mentioned how he was available outside of class if we needed help. I appreciate all of the great extra-credit opportunities for CCOB students as well!

Great professor! He gives great insight and perspective to his lectures and enjoys an open discussion. He cares for his students and is easy to communicate with inside and outside of class. There was alot of group projects so be prepared to work with your peers but overall great course and great professor.

Finance is not my forte, but Dave really cared about students and help me finish strong! The tests are very hard and if u want to do good whatsoever read the book! Its long, but worth it. He is also one of my favorite teachers at GCU so if youre taking finance take it with him!!

Professor Blackledge is such a great professor with a lot of wisdom. He is by far one of my favorite professors at GCU, and he truly cares for his students. He offers support to students, and gives students many opportunities outside of class for extra credit. The course is lecture heavy, but I am very thankful to have taken it with him.

He will read all assignments before they are due and give the feedback you need for a %100. You won't need it though because he explains exactly how the assignment should done so it is as simple as possible. You got to try to fail. He is super sweet and will repeat answers to the same questions. 10/10 would recommend for an easy A.

In class, there was no worry. It was my 7am, yet I was pleased to go. He graded assignments w/in 24 hours, if not less. He valued our opinion & could handle constructive criticism. He bonded with his students & was peaceful. If anything, I am sad the class has come to an end. He was easy to talk to, caring, and knowledgeable.

Professor Blackledge is the best BUS teacher hands down. Great professor who goes over every assignment including the newly implemented BLA's for this semester with the hybrid learning. He offers a few extra credit opportunities and allows students to turn in a rough draft and essentially grades them and gives them clear feedback.

He is so sweet and really cares about his students. He explains the material well and sends the PowerPoints out so you can take notes. He is always available outside of class to talk to. He is a great connection in the business world, he is always willing to look for internships for you if you get to know him.

He was a good professor in my opinion, but the material for the class was not very pertinent to my field of study. He is not engaging, but wants to have great ratings, so will always grade your papers very easily and gives answers to the final and midterm. For BUS-340 he is great, I would not take him for an important foundational class.

He is not strict at all compared to other teachers. He grades so easily and insanely fast. Grades will be submitted minutes after you submit. He responds fast too

Professor Dave is amazing. He is very knowledgeable about the subject matter and provided extensive materials to be successful in the class and on the tests. I had a family emergency in the middle of the semester, and he was so helpful to me and allowed me to turn in my assignments late.

Professor Blackledge is best professor I have had so far. You can tell he really cares about his student and wants every to get good grades. He lets you turn in papers early for feedback and anything you need to fix. Usually if you do that you will get a very good grade. Classes are lecture heavy but does a good job making them fun and interesting.

Great professor, take him if you can! Very knowledgable about what he teaches. There are 4 papers for the whole semester homework and 3 exams which are all open note. He wants everyone to succeed, and is also pretty funny. He lets you to submit papers 3 days early and tells you what grade you will get on it (Most likely an A) or edit if needed.

One of the nicest professors I've had! Highly recommend him for Ethics. He's great at providing the real life examples/senerios needed for papers, responds quickly to questions, and often lets you out early. I had him for a 9 AM class and usually had time to grab a quick bite before my 11 AM.

Fantastic Professor, Exams are open notes, pay close attention to the review class because that is the easiest way to get an A on the exam. Essays if turned in thursday before the due date he will check it over and tell you how to get an A. He is passionate about the topic and if you are going to take the class anyway I recommend him!

He is a truly caring professor and although it was a required class I would take it again with him. He gives you numerous ways to succeed as long as you apply yourself. Dave is one of my favorite professors at GCU. He makes law intresting and realistic to me as a business student. I took this class as honors so it was almost double the essays, however, he graded them with grace. Understanding that we had to do twice as much work, he let you submit it the thursday before its due, and he'd help you edit it get an A.
