Worst accounting professor ever!!!! I am NOT the only one who thinks this! Exams are hard, even though you study your butt off for the exams the subject material that he tells you to study is nothing like what is on the exams. Spends too much time going over homework answers, which is good to do but not for half of the class period. DO NOT TAKE HIM

Dave makes accounting enjoyable and tells a lot of jokes, he also makes sure that all of his students are on the same page. Accounting is not an easy subject, but Dave makes it understandable and enjoyable. I would take him over any other ACC prof at GVSU

He's a pretty good teacher. You could tell he wanted you to do well and had very clear lectures that helped teach the material. A real great guy. He keeps the lectures as interesting as possible with the subject. Makes you teach yourself and then reinforces in his lecture and practice problems. The first day will scare you, but he teaches so well that everything came super easy. He's laid back and will make sure you're comfortable with the material.

Centers is awesome. If you actually want to learn accounting, he is your guy. You have pre-lecture homework online, then you lecture in class, do practice problems for the chapter and then have homework online. While it seems like a lot, it isn't bad and the best way to learn the material is by repetition. Funny, easy going, and a great prof!
