Dave is one of the coolest teachers ever. Accounting is difficult but Professor Krug was very good at giving relevant assingments and quizzes. He is also very funny in his morning classes. He claims to still have the mind of an 18 year old and I don't doubt it. Highly recommend this teacher.

Dave is an awesome guy, and an excellent instructor. His explanations are very clear, and the work isn't terrible as long as you do the assignments. Definitely one of the coolest instructors I've had.

Easy class if you attend often, he lets you drop the lowest test grade and quiz grade(rare anyway) if you miss 2 days of class or less. There are 5 exams including the final which is comprehensive but all multiple choice. Overall pretty easy if you just pay attention. He's funny and cracks jokes often. His methods are simple and he knows his stuff.

I love Krug. Dave is so far in my top 5 best teachers of all time list. The material in the class isn't easy. If you attend and do what he asks of you outside of class, you will suceed. He has such "a brilliant personality" it will make you want to go to class. I did put that he has a hot appearance, and that doesn't hurt.

GREAT TEACHER! If you go to class, pay attention, and do the homework you shouldn't have a problem passing this class with a good grade. Great teacher - makes class fun and easy to learn the material. Make sure you do the homework because it really helps in learning. Tests are very reasonable. Lots of quizzes, but in my opinion it helps the grade a lot. Lets you drop one test if you don't miss more than 2 classes, lets you drop 2 quizzes no matter what. Highly recommended.

I took this as a telecourse and loved it. He was very helpful if I had a question and I just DVR'd the lessons and watched them when I could. He was a little slow at emailing pretests and the power points but if you requested them he would sent it with in a couple of days. Overall wonderful class!

For a not so interesting subject Dave will keep you entertained. He tells a lot of random stories but you learn a lot too. You get a to drop your lowest test if you have three or less absences. I would recommend him to anyone for accounting.

He's funny, smart, and very CLEAR with his expectations. HW is assigned daily & quizzes are almost weekly-it's a good thing-you can't learn the concepts without practicing them. Yes, sometimes it does take him 2 class periods to get graded work back to you. But who cares?! It's small price to pay for an excellent (albeit busy) professor.

I had him in the spring for acct 1 tv course so I took his 4 week acct 2 course this summer and although is was fast pace, he makes it enjoyable and very easy to understand. Dave took over the class after Tony Wayne opted out of the Saturday cass. I am not an acct major but the way Dave teaches the class it was really easy to understand. As long as you watch the videos and do the homework and all other problems he gives, it is a pretty easy class. He is very prompt on answering questions. He makes it clear what he expects of his students, and as long as you do those things his class flows very well.

Acct 1 I took online over the summer and he provides videos that are so helpful. Acct 2 I took in class attendance is not mandatory but will help your grade. Random homework checks but homework normally doesnt take that long. Teaches to tests and need to know for accounting. I love his teaching style.

Managerial Accounting was like Accounting 2 but diving deeper into each concept. Krug sent out a very clear email at the beginning of the semester where he said effort would be required out of class. Quizzes help a lot to prepare for the test. If you do your homework you will do good on the test.

Dave is awesome! Had him this semester and in Acct 1. He always gets back with you and is super helpful. Do not take his class if you are looking for an easy A but if you really want to learn you cant find a better professor. His online class is not like any you have ever taken and the videos are great. Online Accounting I class over the summer. Not smart, right? Prof Krug made sure we were all aware of the pitfalls and helpful hints to get us through this class. Very clear on expectations, always willing to help and even sent me a voice message via email to explain my test results to me. I was worried about it since it was my first college test!

Krug is definitely one of my favorite teachers. He does his best to make the class easier by relating account principles to things we deal with everyday. In class he goes through some things pretty fast and it can be difficult to keep up, but all of his lectures are on youtube. His grading is strict, but has clear expectations

I found Dave's expectations clear & teaching style easy to follow. He will help his students succeed in any way he can. Classes fill up in the first few minutes so plan to sign up the minute enrollment begins if you want a spot. I recommend this teacher highly if you want to learn accounting but not if you want an easy A. Nice guy, super fun class!

His classes are tough, but if you do ALL of the homework (which isn't actually turned in or graded), study hard, and watch ALL of the lectures, you'll not only pass this class, but you'll really learn the material. I took him for online Accounting I course Fall 2016 semester. The best professor I've ever had. Follow the videos he makes, do the homework (it is not graded but you have to do it in order to pass), there are due dates on the Connect assignments, and the exams were at the testing center. I learned so much from him. Even watched him for Acct II.

While the lectures aren't the most riveting they compliment the reading, to give you a more understanding of the class. For classes this high, he makes clear that you have to want to study to get a good grade and not take it just to finish a business credit. Overall a great teacher for an online coarse. Definitely recommended for acct 1&2.

I had Professor Krug 4 times actually. Twice when I failed college before and then for both accoounting courses when I came back. He does a great job with new college students, teaching you what college is all about. (Grades are a direct reflection to the work you put it.) I actually took Intro to Financial and Managerial Accounting in a college in California, however I found Professor Krug's several year old lectures on youtube and used them to get an A in my online class. Although I live across the country, I feel like I learned accounting from professor Krug. Great teacher, and I owe my A to him.

If online, his classes are recorded so you can see what his in-class students see. Highly recommended. DO YOUR HOMEWORK - you will get a good grade. Dave Krug isn't just the best accounting teacher at Johnson County, I'm pretty sure he's the best teacher I've ever had. Ever. After moving on to UMKC, I had to take additional accounting courses. My professors there sucked, so I drove from UMKC to Johnson County *just* to take it with Dave, instead. I've had Dave as a teacher 3 times now.

Krug has video of old lectures which are very useful. Even being an online class, intermediate accounting isn't as hard as I thought it would be, especially with all the videos and specific readings he provides.

Dave is a teacher who everyone should take even if you don't need his class. He always has a smile on his face and will remember you semesters later. Is very straight forward and makes hard concepts make perfect sense. Overall a really great guy.

Literally the best professor I've had so far. Currently at KU and I only wish the professors here had half of the teaching ability Dave does. If you take accounting at JCCC, do not take it with anyone else besides Krug, he is an excellent teacher

Sometimes I wish he would teach all my classes. The way he understands the stresses and emotions his students are going through really helped him become a counselor for a lot of his students. Just a really great human being. As for accounting, he taught in a way that made sense. Although I would point out Accounting 2 is somewhat tougher than 1.

David Krug is the absolute best professor I have ever had. I just finished his online ACCT 121 course at JCCC and I am in disbelief at how simple and clear he made the course. I formerly received a D in this class at KSU and received an A, this semester! I wish he taught more classes!

Dave is THE best accounting professor at JCCC. This was my first intro into what accounting even was. I am a student who enjoys learning, so I rarely skip class. So long as you show up and actually try, it's an easy class. He's hysterical, helpful, and total dad jokes kinda guy. He's lovable and fun. Sometimes we even meditated in class - best guy!

If you are taking accounting take it with him. He has many examples to help you understand. Best teacher Ive ever had by far!

I'm not even a student of his at all! I'm currently taking ACCT-1 online in Canada and I was about ready to throw in the towel on this course as a whole, until I discovered his lectures on Youtube. David's lectures make all the material for this course 100% clear and understandable. I honestly wish he was my actual prof! So glad i found him!!!

The best online experience I've had! he provides videos of his classes, He breaks down and goes over every single thing step by step so you learn. At the end of the day you do have to apply yourself, study, and he makes you earn your grade. The homework he provides is extremely helpful and he goes over to make sure you have a clear understanding !

I dont even really like accounting, and I probably wouldn't mind taking another of his classes. Even Before the pandemic, I went to a virtual high school for four years, and Krug's class was by far the best online class I have taken. He is incredibly comprehensive, and the homework is SO helpful! He is funny, and a very good teacher.

Professor Krug's accounting course seemed daunting at first, but the structure of the class and his clear presentations made the class simple and easy for me to grasp. The class was not easy, but his lectures and explanations were easy to understand, and his insistence on staying on top of the work helped me get through it with no issue.

When I started, I didn't know anything about accounting, and I wasn't sure I'd like it. Professor Krug made all the material super clear and extremely manageable. He does give homework, but it doesn't take too long to do. Work hard and be engaged, and the class is passable. He's also caring to his student! This has quickly become my favorite class!

Professor Krug cares a lot for his students. He will teach about life and he will try to integrate you in class. Be prepared to be moved places, introduce yourself, participate in class ... He is an inspiration. If you have a good solid accounting basics, he will be a good choice for Acct 2.

Bottom line: TAKE THIS CLASS WITH PROFESSOR KRUG. I was nervous about taking accounting but Professor Krug is an AMAZING teacher. He has great online teaching videos and everything on the tests he has clearly explained and highlighted will be on test. Gives helpful and clear homework that he also posts videos walking you through them. 100000/10.

David Krug is simply the best professor I've ever had. He explains things perfectly, grades fairly, is clear on how he wants the tests to be done, very knowledgeable, very friendly, very straight forward, and very caring. I'll put it this way, I am waiting an entire year just so I can be in his accounting 2 class. (He doesn't teach it in fall.)

Amazing teacher I have ever known. He is so inspirational, humourous. I found out his videos thru youtube and am watching the whole episode. I wish I could take his class in person. He made me want to do homework and exercise more ever than I did.

Krug is a great teacher. My online Accounting class was my least stressful class all semester. All I had to do was watch the recorded lectures, understand the material, and complete connect assignments. Like in all classes, you have to study and prepare for the tests. His personality is really cool and you would never find his lectures boring.

Krug is awesome! Each week is 1 assignment & 3-ish hours of well-made prerecorded lectures. I personally didn't need notes, but there is plenty of practice & extra credit if you want. 4 exams, but worst score is dropped. The final is comprehensive; definitely do not forget to study. Best: he is easy to reach and a great tutor. Take him if you can!!

Awesome, Had him for my Accounting I class, highly recommend him. I wish he was teaching Accounting 2 this semester. He has a good sense of humor too.

Dave Krug is a G! Great professor. His class has good energy, he helps the class get comfortable learning by themselves and with each other. The class is a little difficult, but if you apply yourself and uphold your load of work, you'll be just fine. He is very accessible outside of class as well. Cool guy, very funny!

Dave is hands down the best professor I've ever had. His lectures explain the content so well and are entertaining too. Hard to believe there are people rating him less than 4/5, they must've skipped classes. Dave goes out of his way to make sure students feel included and are doing well both academically and emotionally with a focus on mindfulness

I'm not sure what that person was referring to about Mr. Krug being disorganized? But that's false. He was very well organized. Exams are the majority of your grade but just make sure to go over the hw and you will be good. He records his lectures and it makes you feel like you are apart of his class. He doesn't use the textbook which I find great

Dave is a gifted educator that really enjoys teaching. He has really nailed the online format, too. I wish he taught every accounting class at JCCC. He also has very helpful YouTube videos for Accounting 1 and 2 even if you aren't in his class.

Krug is a great professor who cares about all of his students. He also tries to build a good social connection between himself, students, and the class as a whole to help support them educationally and personally. Krug also gives great lectures and has them prerecorded as well on his Canvas in case you miss one or don't understand it.

Funniest teacher I have had, but be ready for random pop quizzes, so many quizzes and about 4 test throughtout the semester, drops the lowest if attendance is good. (miss less than 7 days). Really gets the point across and will dig deeper if a student does not understand. I wish he taught Accounting 2, I would definitely take him again if he did.

Dave Krug is an amazing professor! I took Accounting 1 online with onsite exams. He does his absolute best to make sure everyone is understanding the material. Krug provided multiple recorded lectures each week that were short and easy to follow. He provides great feedback, responds to emails quickly, and grades quickly. I would recommend!

Professor Krug is a fantastic instructor. His pre-recorded lectures and helpful feedback make the material digestible. While the class can be challenging, using resources like Unstuck AI alongside the textbook can really aid in study prep. Highly recommended!

Dave is the man. He is an awesome professor and will work hard to make sure his students understand the material. He truly cares for his students as people. If you are allowed to take his class, do it!! Also, one piece of advice, don't fall off the bus! And if you start falling off, talk to him, he'll help you back on.

I was a little worried going into accounting that it was going to be boring and I wouldn't "get it". I couldn't have been farther from the truth. Krug made accounting as enjoyable as it could be and he is an amazing, fun teacher. Attendance is crucial so you don't fall off the bus (his analogy). If you have to take accounting, take it with Krug.

Dave is such a great professor. He really cares about his students. Accounting is hard, and I really appreciate all his effort to teach it in the clearest way possible. Take him in person if possible! Make sure you do a little every day! Also tutors help alot too, there is no shame in getting help! You get what you put into every accounting course.

I'm surprised Krug doesn't have a better rating on here. I see no world where he isn't an easy 5 star. Has super informative lectures that are hilarious and make you wish you had him in person. 1 weekly assignment and 5 tests for your grade. Homework isnt for a grade but still should do it to be prepped for exams. Sad I won't be in his class again!

I didn't think I was going to like something as boring as accounting but his lectures are engaging. He'll work with you if you communicate and just try in his class. Don't skip anything though or otherwise you will fall behind quick!

Best online class I've taken. Great videos, homework handouts and very little text book reading required. Watch the videos and do the homework and the tests will not be difficult.

Couldn't recommend Krug enough. Great guy, loves what he does and cares about his students. Classes are funny and engaging. He has prerecorded lectures and videos if you are struggling, fall behind, miss class, etc. A decent amount of homework but you truly get a grasp on each concept, just stay on top of your work. 10/10 recommend.
