Best professor I've had. You get a lot of choice on your tests. If you go to lectures and tutorials he'll clear everything up. If you want help you get it. His stories are actually helpful.

Tells you exactly what you need to know. Never need a textbook for his courses. He is funny and charismatic (for a prof) and makes the most boring topics a little less painful. And a great guy to boot!

Guys, Dave is without the shadow of a doubt, one of the best professors at Ryerson. Knowledgable, down to earth and probably the funniest professor at Ryerson. I can't go a class without tipping over from laughter. I don't look forward to going to many other classes like I do with his.

I can honestly say Dave is the best prof I have ever had. Nicest guy, prepares you well for tests and exams, and his tests are fair. I wish he was my prof for every course.

He's a really nice guy. Tests are fair, and give part marks. Ask him anything, and he is more than willingly to respond. He is also credited for giving a lot of suggestions to improve the 2nd ed of the text. This guy knows his stuff, provides you with real life examples, and you will learn something

Great prof ever!! Intersting lectures, easy participation marks, but challenging cases.

Knowledgeable, and treats students with respect. He tells you what you will need to prepare for tests/exams, however come test time, it may be a bit tricky. I've had easy tests & hard tests from him, so it's hard to tell...

so much better than Trubic...some topics were a bit dull, but he made them interesting. he got kinda easy with the presentations. i didn't do as well as i wanted to, but he and whistance-smith are both pretty good.

Amazing!! relates alot of material to beer which is a good way to keep students awake. Very interesting class... marked easy for presentations.... Get him for management!

Dave is a really great professor who conveys the course material well. He is extremely approachable and is an overall great guy. The math component of the course can be tricky if you do not do the questions he assigns. But overall, the course is very worthwhile and you do learn a lot.

I've had Dave for several other classes, and he's awesome! He really makes dull topics interesting, and is very kind and funny. This guy rocks! What a great Prof! He and Bailey are my top two faves ever!

Great Prof, despite what he may say you can tell he's teaching for more than just the pay check. He's happy to help students and prepares you well for what is on the exam.

Dave teaches the subject well and does his best to make the material less dry and boring. Just be prepared to work hard on the Assignments/Projects.

Great prof, one of the few that knows what he's talking about. He's a no b/s kinda guy, he teaches that way and expects the same. His class was informative, and a pleasure to be in. Also, he doesn't waste time with the nonsense in the textbook. If you get him for any class, consider yourself lucky, so far the best prof I've had at Ryerson.

This is by far the best Prof. I've ever had. And I've taken 5 courses with this guy, and I've never been disapointed. Brings lots of industry experience to supliment the text. Sometimes a hard marker, but always fair. Go to class, you stand to learn a lot (except for the class presentation - then you can miss it).

Dave's such a good guy and a good prof. He's a straight-talker, no BS. He gives you practical, real-life knowledge that you will probably use one day. One of the few great profs at Ryerson that make your money worthwhile. His tests are usually just multiple choice, just work hard on the assignments and show him you're learning something.

Really good teacher. Never used a textbook for his class. Read the handout and take notes and you'll do fine on exams. Very easygoing. fun to learn with.

Meston, is a great teacher. We didn't use a textbook for this class b/c it was outdated. Therefore, attendence was manditory so we could get notes. However, there should be a new text coming out for Fall semester. He knows gets the students involved in discussion, so it's not a one man show. He's laid back and is a great teacher.

Dave is, by far, the BEST prof on this planet! He is so brilliant at what he does, you don't even care if it's an 8AM class and you hafta wake up at 6AM, you'll still go to every single class! A BComm isn't truly complete without a course taught by Dave. I suppose Ryerson would hire more like him, but there's simply NONE like him :) You rock, Dave!

Dave is absolutely amazing! If u cant get above an A- in his class, YOU'RE the idiot, not him. He marks extremely fair & he is the most kind, intelligent, real-world, down-to-earth Prof u will ever meet. To last rater, u got a poor mark perhaps due 2 ur own laziness. Dave delivers above & beyond excellent teaching. So its ur own fault if u mess up.

Meston is a cool guy. Took his class online but it was very straight forward. Dont let the massive textbook (paperback) scare you! Alot of the stuff is repetitive and if you get the basics of the course, you will do well. 1 Midterm online mostly M/C, couple SA, 2 easy assignments, 1 final in class. When you finally meet him, hes really cool!

Dave is a knowledgeable man and is very generous about marking papers. He knows alot about OHS. Awesome professor. His tests are not easy but you can bring up your marks with assignments.
