Worst professor ever

HE HAS NOOOO IDEA WHAT HE'S DOING... WHY IS HE STILL TEACHING?!?
I know more about the subject than he does. Be prepare to learn on your own.
has absolutely no teaching skills--besides the fact he doesn't know anything

He is confused with everything he knows.
NO teaching skills, you will teach your self or fail
Very laid back
Hopefully they get rid of him before he is tenured.

Nice guy. Solid prof.
suck to the hell!!!!!!! lazy prof !!!!!!!!!

cant teach, just depends on the text book, cant wait for him to get fired, helps the girls but guys no way!
He can't teach, lazy and like to talk to girls, very very bad professor.
Nice guy, bad teacher...
dropped the class. he doesnt teach worth **** and believes that everyone who walks thourgh that door should be able to program right away.
Don't take him if you value your GPA
The class is easy, the work load is pretty decent, but this guy is no help at all.
He is the worst prof on Edinboro's campus. I asked him for help continuously. He found it humerous that I was working so hard and still failing. He is arrogant and a lowsy teacher. I am amazed he is still employed. Thank God for tenure huh Dave?
We love Dave Tucker!

he is always lost.......
This guy is genious and by far the greatest. But sometimes he is lost and you would be too if you partied as hard as he does.
he ignored me in the class.
This guy is awesome......but he wears tight pants and his dong is always hanging out through his pants.
a waste of my time.....avoid!!!!
Great guy, if you are stupid and need to be hand fed do not take this guy. If you are independant, and don't need to much direction, this is the prof for you.
This guy is a complete tard. He thinks he's cool but he's just a dork trying to relive his college years.
Dave is the man, Never had a better time in a class as I did in his. If you ask for his help he will make the time during class or after to take the time to help you if and when you need it.

He definitely tries to take an "easy class" and turn it into something vital and upperlevel. It doesn't work well. He's not big into helping students in class and it is really easy to get him off topic. Take him if you already know what you're d
He basically mutters to himself when lecturing and is not clear at all. He docked 5 points alone on an 82 point assignment for not stapling even though papers were in 3-ring binder!
Tucker is the coolest teacher ever... The class is so easy! Easy A! If you dont understand then you must know nothing about microsoft... Hes very easy to get along with and very funny...
the 'tucker man is ok. keep up with the work and it's ok. Tests are tough though.
He was a horrible teacher for a horrible class. he talked way above everyone's level and to himself most of the time. he wasn't able to help me when i needed it and left me more confused than i was before. don't take him if you can avoid it!!!
Dave is a great professor. If you need help, just ask. He will gladly be there for you during his office hours. The class is easy to pass as long as you turn in assignments. He also gives you class time to complete your work.
He's a ok guy but a lousy teacher, never grades stuff, takes off points for stupid crap...I HATE that class!
Great guy. Loves to get people into computers. Will help anyone. Very straightforward with what he expects. Take him at all costs.
He's a great guy. He loves getting people into computers. He's very straightforward about what he wants and he'll help anyone who asks. Be sure to take him.
he sucks and should not be teaching. Good guy crappy teacher. Should go home and take care of his kids and leave his wife to work.
Most people in the class failed both test the average on the latest test was an 18/30. That says something about his teaching. He says that his test were easy yeah to him they are easy not to the rest of the class. Not everyone in that class is a computer major but he asumes that everyone is a computer major. He can't teach. Hello everyone is fails.
Dave Tucker is the worst professor I have ever had. His class is nothing but B.S. Tucker doesnt even know what he is talking about half the time. He grades terribly I got a 12/52 because I forgot to include one step in practice ex., the packet i handed in was 32 pages long! DO NOT TAKE HIM!! Nice guy but a horrible teacher, not understanding at all
He is a nice professor. His class is easy if you just follow the steps what he tells you to do. remember DO the HOMEWORK on time!!! The exams are easy, as he mostly gives a hint how it is gonna be. If you have a question, just go and ask him, he will be free to answer you, then!!!

I thought he was nice and helpful and would take him again. His grading was a little questionable, but he no longer has ppl turn everything in at once, he has ur turn them in after each section. I had a D for my mid term and brought it up to and A! he really is not a bad guy
worst teacher EVER! i was ordered by the dr. to stay home & missed a test, took him 3 weeks to get a make up & then he was too busy to have it made up, he read ?'s out of the book for me to copy down & answer PLUS he criticised me on going to school full time being a single parent and working, 4th yr, deans list and HIS class almost lost my fin aid
Just do the work and it's an easy A.
not very helpful. goes very fast through work. thinks all students are computer majors and know how they work and not all students do. thinks his class is most important. would not reccomend taking this prof......
I could teach VB a heck of alot better than he can. He didn't know how to add something to a list box. READ THE BOOK and you will get an A, or listen to someone that knows what they are doing. If having trouble, ask someone who would know, not the professor.
always willing to help!
It was easy all you reallly have to do is pay attention to your book as you go and you won't have any problems.
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS EVER!!!!!!!!!
Does this guy understand that this is a distribution class???? Sorry we didn't all work for the CIA

Tucker is an interesting case. Mainly because his class is one of the easiest of the CSCI 104 professors but it might as well be an internet course because he doesnt do much. Do the work, it isnt hard, if you are diligent you wont ever have to do work outside your actual class time. And good luck getting his attention if you are a male.
all i can say is WOW! seriously, he doesnt even know what hes doing, he would start 2 explain something & then ask the class 'is that right?' come on, i am NOT a csci major, just needed 2 fill a gen ed, & ended up with the worst experience of my life! 2day was the 2nd exam, he handed it 2 me & i handed it back blank, walked out & withdrew!
Definately a difficult time in this class, he didn't even understand how to do some of this stuff. Flies through the chapters. Made me redo work when the system made my work unreadable, he couldn't even fix it. It takes a while to get his attention. This should be an easy class, but the books are screwed up.
WOOOOWW..... Doesn't have a clue what he is doing. Goes back and changes something everytime he does it and his excuse is "oh ya i forgot about that".. ya right.. doesnt even know how SLI works or hyperthreading. If you are good at test.. forget it. he doesnt teach anything thats on the test
This guys doesn't know anything about math.Watch out he is a very bad teacher. He second guesses himself, asks us to add it on the calculator, and if it matches in the back of the book.Seriously learn to do your job and yes U CAN HATE MATH!!!
friendly, but all over the place and random. second guesses himself all the time, makes it hard to keep up with. spends too much time checking a singles person's work, and it's always the same people which makes me have to go into his office on my off days. really don't learn much, just read out of the book.
I took Tucker in the summer and it was so easy. He helped out a lot but it is very easy to get him off track. If you can follow directions out of a book the class is an easy A but you have to be willing to do the work
A bit of a scatterbrain, but does make things as easy to understand as he can. Breaks equations down to the basic steps and makes it easy to follow along if you pay attention. Has a habit of second-guessing what he's done and will often ask "is that what the book says?" after finishing a problem on the board. All in all though, a decent teacher.
I like Dave!!!!!!! and ALL of you will like Dave !! Really a good guy.
Prof Tucker is a good professor. If he has to go REALLY slow in math020 for you to keep up.....guess what? You probably won't graduate on time or ever. Math is often used to "weed out" poor students. We are lucky EUP even offers this remedial class. Our class was awesome and everybody passed. I learned a lot.
His tests are on what he says. Hes also one of the only ones at EUP that actually does give extra points for attendance. He's also a great teacher, and knowledgeable.
Very good teacher.
I seriously don't understand why he is still hired. Never gave warning when an assignment was due, never gave clear definitions of terms, rambled, and took the bunny trail far too many times. Would not recommend him as a teacher for CS125.
Easy class if you do the work. Not a huge time consumption class. Nice guy but doesn't stay on track.
This class is easy! Take the time to pay attention when he lectures and you will have NO problem with the homework or the tests! He is helpful and wants you to succeed!
Tucker is more then willing to help you if you just ask. He came in multiple times over this summer session for extra help days. He WANTS you to learn but you have to be willing to do the work!
Easy class. If you want an easy class take him for computer science. hes clear and helps anyone who asks for it. plusif you pay $70 you can test out of his class and you get a grade based on the test witch itself is very easy
If you know anything about computers this class is the easiest you will ever take in higher education. I only went to class on test days and did the rest from home, usually completing the assignments weeks before they were due.
I took Mr. Tucker for Visual Basic and If you have some prior programming knowledge the class was a synch I know one person in our class who had never programmed and didn't seem to try so he dropped the course, but the rest of us passed with A's
Literally the best Professor I have ever had. Not only was he easy to contact but he was always willing to help.
He is a nice guy, but a terrible professor. He has his syllabus as a webpage, and doesn't update the homework assignment section until after he grades it. It's very confusing. He expects his students to do hours of work outside of class, and when I explained that I work he told me I needed to choose college or work. Yea, because I have a choice.
At first I thought he was a really nice guy, but he's not. When I ask questions he just gives sarcastic comments and is insensitive to those struggling. DO NOT TAKE HIM. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
If you've taken a computer class in high school and have common sense, this class is a breeze. He is knowledgeable about computers and a nice guy. People who have issues in the class either do not pay attention or simply do not read instructions clearly. It is mainly on pearson's myitlab which is not cheap but easy to receive high grades.
This is a very simple class and he does a good job making it painless to get through. Very basic computer skills are required and if you do all of the MyITLab assignments, you'll get an easy A. Dr. Tucker is a very nice guy and is helpful when you have questions!
Class was easy, mainly about Word, Excel and PowerPoint. We needed a subscription to the website Lynda, but it reviewed what I already knew about the programs. Portfolio project was intriguing, but clearer due dates would've been nice--the ones listed on his website were from last year. Does respond to emails, but it may take a while.
This class is not hard at all if you have ever used Microsoft Office. He is extremely nice and simply teaches you what you need to know.
Easiest class ever. You just copy everything from the book basically. The tests are a joke. You do a practice test the class before and you get to use that code. Never have any homework as long as you do all the coding during class. The only downfall is he's lazy at grading and takes forever to post your grades.
I'm not very good with computers myself but Mr. Tucker has made me understand them better. I seeked him out for help a few times for the web page and Microsoft Excel assignments and he explained them all to me in a very clear manner. The thing I didn't like was that you had to sign up with Lynda .com which I only went on for grand total of twice.
Professor Tucker is great! His classes are a combination of lecture and working on your assignments. He is very friendly and approachable. The homework is not hard, although it can be time consuming. Don't get behind! If you ask him a question about the material, he will happily spend time elaborating on it.
Tucker does a really good job explaining complex concepts and making them seem simple. He also very clearly knows his stuff and is passionate about his field. However, he has terrible control of his class. Students talk over him throughout almost the entire class and he does little to quiet them down. He also gets side tracked far too often.
He will pick out the minute details from the textbook to put on the test. The things he tells you to study are not on the tests. He is unsure of what he says most of the time, as students tend to correct him on his material. Did I mention the tests cover a multitude of the chapters you cover.
For some reason my adviser told me to take this class and I clearly wasn't ready for it. Going to him for help was useless. He would tell me my page looked good and then give me an F with no explanation or feed back. I got more help from the grad student. There were times were he would have to help Mr. Tucker too.
Solid choice, good for beginners in CS or web development.
Wouldn't recommend this class to someone who is not a computer science major. Tucker means well but caters to the kids who already have a cs background during class. Frequently gets off topic. His tests are difficult in a way that the littlest things he passively mentions during class will be on it. He will help you if you ask, though.
Courses are not very well organized. Class time is not used efficiently. Took two classes with him and both were disorganized. Assignment due dates are all over the place, usually not clear of what he wants and when he wants it. Nice enough guy, just difficult to learn from.
He is a good professor. Just do your homework and ask for a test review before it. overall he is fine.
Math isn't one of my strong subjects but Tucker is very rude & half the time us students had to correct him bc he would do the math problems wrong. I met wi/ him after a test we had to go over it because I received the lowest grade I have ever got in college. He straight up told me if I didn't pass the next test I should consider dropping the class
He never cared about the ADA. He'd never let me test in another room like I was allowed to. He told me multiple times that I should drop the class. He helped students cheat by giving them the answers and showing them how to do the work after class. I took it up to the dean who just questioned him about it and said that he said he didn't help them.
