Go to class everyday, do all your homework and you'll do fine. Davenne has a sense of humor, but tends to treat the class like a bunch of preschoolers and not because they act like them. She also seems overworked and stressed most of the time and she can be rather impatient and short with students.

Extremely nit picky over details, unreasonable amount of course work. Majority who survived my 101 class took 102 at a different school so they wouldn't have her again

Absolutely avoid at all costs. Constantly belittles the class, and acts as if she has a power complex. I had a extremely hard time learning in this class, the workload was extreme for an intro class and really left me not enjoying physics. Take this class if you can learn very proficiently straight out of a book, because that is what we had to do.

This was the hardest class I've ever taken. This class plummeted my GPA for the quarter and I am forced to retake this class (unfortunately with her) to save my GPA. Dr. Eyres is an obviously knowledgeable and all around agreeable person, but her teaching gives no room for slack . If you don't read the book, you will not learn. Her canvas is very thorough, but using it right is never quite explained. It is very easy to fall behind in this class, and she is an extremely hard grader.

Dr. Eyres makes sure EVERY student understands the lecture. This class was the most detailed class I've taken - YES, there is a lot to read; YES, there is a lot of homework. But there is SO MUCH useful material - she has video lectures, slides, notes, helpful websites and she ALWAYS answers all the question you ask. Strict professor, sweet person.
