I had a B in bio210 and a D in his class. I had the worst time ever. He talks down to the student and seems to enjoy being offensive. I only wished I had dropped this class.

The WORST!! He made everyone in the class feel stupid for having questions. He put down the school every chance he had. When he got upset he would use language I couldn't use at this site. I can't understand with all that rage why would he want to teach. Writting a book would be better for him. He wouldn't have to interact with people.

This professor was one of the worst professors on the planet. He teaches biology as if he is the only one who understands it. The class starts off with 30+ student and half end up leaving. The highest grade in the class is a C and thats because he curved it. He just sucks.

Krauss was terrible. The worst teacher I have ever had. I don't know why he is even teaching because he doesn't seem to like it at all. He would have long essay questions on all the tests, each worth 10 points a piece. The final had 10 essays. DON'T TAKE HIM!

I took him for Anatomy and Physiology Course in the Summer time. He forces students to drop the classes. He is unapproachable. When asked questions, he wont let you finish because he assumes he knows what your question will be. He would use different terminology from the book and would get annoyed if he was questioned. RUN!

For a professor who does little explaining during his class, his tests are absolutely impossible! He spends his class time lecturing, then every Monday gives a 45-50 question exam. The one day this man actually did a good job teaching, was the day of his classroom evaluation when one of his peers did a sit-in for the class.

WORST PROFESSOR EVER! I am on the deans list at a four year college and decided to take a summer biology course. I advise you to not waste your money. It is virtually impossible to do well. He copies and pastes the hardest questions out of the teachers part of mastering biology. I am a diligent student and I did extremely poorly in this course.

I took his class but I had to drop it some where in the middle of the semester because I realized it was going to affect my GPA, we started as a full class but only 7 people stayed till the end and one person among this 7 stayed just because of her financial aid. He is very tough, just be ready to do more. And oh no sleep for you.

I read the comments for this professor before taking the class and they were disappointing but it was the only class available. My 3.9 average dropped to 3.0 after failing his class even though I put all my time into it. Do not take his class unless you can read and process so much information at a time. His lectures are very long and not helpful.

The things that you see on his test could be suprising, but if you practice using connect, then you will get most of the questions right. Although he sometimes gives some question which we never discussed about, because he expects us to study and find about it ourself.???

He tells us not to study certain images because they will confuse us, shows us how he does it and on the exam puts the images we've never seen before because he TOLD us to ignore it. His response to us all failing, "i said ignore it, that doesn't mean I won't put it on the exam". First time i've had to drop a class because of a teacher. Horrible.

He has no interest in helping u learn, he reads off the txtbk; so you are left clueless. he derives pleasure seeing students struggle. asking questions, irritates him too. so if you do choose to gamble, good luck! you'd have to work 5x harder than those enrolled in a similar class and with a greater chance to excel.

Sets up students to fail! Gives the vibe that he's smarter than everyone else and makes you feel stupid when you don't ask questions the "right" way. I feel so badly for any student that is unlucky enough to get this professor. After having so many amazing professors at BMCC, what a shame to have had experienced this prof. A very difficult course, you will benefit from having a teacher that actually cares. He does NOT. This prof is burnt out and jaded. Avoid him at all costs.

So my only advise is if you are taking this class, be ready to take "Only" this class. Biology is very intensive. You may find the Prof. very difficult but in the end it all depends on you. Don't expect any study guides or test review. he give lots of questions from Quizelet. And still if you are failing just drop the class before its too late.

This is one of the worse professor I ever had the displeasure of knowing. He has a terrible attitude, he doesn't help or explain the work he just fast forwards through the slides and gives a test a week later. About a month into the course there was about five people left in the class after it was packed with 25 students in the beginning.

Taking this professor you will be reading a lot with a test every week. Prepare to memorize EVERYTHING. He's very sarcastic. He doesn't teach anything in the lab he just gives you the lab and he doesn't check lab so there's no way to know if you're doing the lab correctly. Professor Krauss is a genuinely jaded professor. He doesn't teach, he reads and his style of teaching is so disconnected, he's wildly uninspired and doesn't provide the proper framework to help you comprehend the course material, classes ended early and sure enough was very hellbent on making exams the main means of judgement, Avoid at all cost.

Tests every week for his class and that's the only thing he grades you on, not really a big help on lab and only walks around. Only grade for lab is the lab practical at the end. I was going to college to become a nurse,but due to his terrible lectures,I ended up getting a D in this class. This prevented me from applying to nursing programs.6 years later this professor is still haunting me as I do have a bachelor's degree,but l still want to become a nurse.All of the affordable programs don't allow for repeat class grades.

His lecture slides are only figures from the textbook, and he gives out a 35-40+ question test every week at the beginning of the class on the chapter taught a week before. In the lab, he sits at his desk and watches you do your lab, if you have a question you can ask him, but you need to come up with some answer first.
