He's a good, enthusiastic, teacher. Take his classes if you need History!
I wasn't a fan of history until I took his class. He does an excellent job motivating his students and making it interesting. I recommend Arnold to anyone.
cares about his students learning
A bit eccentric but overall a good guy. He tries to make his lectures interesting, he doesn't have a boring, monotone voice. Shows passion for what he does. Has a midterm & final, both are in-class essays.
Awesome teacher!!! Not a fan of history, but he does a great job trying to motivate his students. His chapter tests are way easy IF you do the online study questions!!! He also didn't give out too much homework, but when he did it was worth a lot of points.
I am not a huge history buff, especially of early American history, but Arnold made it as interesting as possible with his lively discussion and applications to modern day examples.
Amazing and enthusiastic. Dave is intelligent and has a great sense of humor. He brings history to life and can make anyone love it. He teaches a great class. He knows how to keep the classes attention and makes good use of the short time available.
Dave Arnold is enthusiastic, interesting, understandable, and fun. He's extremely helpful and understanding with his students. I feel like I learned a lot from his class even though I didn't have much of an interest in history before.
Really fun prof and if you are a hard worker you will get an A for sure. You have to think and use your brain but the class is set up so the hard workers get As and the slackers get Cs. Very fun, I learned a lot
Took early American history and Native American history from him, both class provided a set of challenges. If you are looking to get a good grade and do nothing he is not the teacher but if you attend class and pay attion when he tells you to you will do good. Made a boring subject worth my time and money. Great person and prof. Willing to help.
Great teacher! Read your chapters! He makes class interesting; he's really into what he does and it's refreshing. He'll get you to think about society and life in a different way. He's a great guy! Take a class from him! Just do the work, and you'll be golden. :]
Arnold was a great professor i had to take Native american studies because i registered late. He made the class fun, he is very sarcastic(nice way), enthusiastic and a great teacher. I got a 4.0 for just participating, and posting my discussions. The mid-term and final were all about what u leanred and why it is a historical significance. Great!
I'm about to graduate from cbc and of all the many teachers I've had there Arnold is definitely in my top 3. I'd never liked history before his class, but his enthusiasm is contagious. He is both a very likable person and an excellent professor.
I used to be semi-interested in history until i took this class. Dr. Arnold is really funny and nice, but his lectures will put you to sleep. I now despise history and will never take it again.
very easy class, you will understand and retain everything he lectures about if you just take notes...you can also get an easy 100 points for participation if you just show up and engage in class discussions...one of the best instructors at CBC!!!
I do NOT like History. Dr. Arnold has a great way of teaching and getting us to think outside the box. He provides with more than one view point of History. I LOVE this class.
This guy is amazing! It's mainly a lecture class but there are a few assignments here and there from documents he hands out. No book assignments but it helps out tremendously if you follow along in the book as he lectures. Take notes and have a study buddy and you will do absolutely fine in this class. He makes class fun & exlpains things very well
This guy is so into History that it makes it so much more interesting! His assignments are straighforward, but you do have to put forth a lot of effort to do good on his mid terms! Great class!
Awesome instructor, the man is very passionate about what he does. One of the best instructors I had so far.
Super nice and pleasant guy. Very knowledgeable. Not the easiest class because he wants details and your point of view. Put in effort and you'll be fine. Great dry sense of humor. One of the better professors I've had.
Absolutely awesome class! The lectures are very interesting and easy to remember. The class does take quite a bit of effort (textbook reading, online quizzes, etc.), but he is VERY willing to help and do all he can to make you succeed. He was great with the online quizzes, he was very understanding and let us take them two times or more.
Arnold is one of the best teachers I've ever had, period. He is so into what he is teaching that is was impossible for me not to be interested in it too! Loved the guy, he's really funny!
Wonderful teacher. He really knows his history. He explains the subject so it is easily understood.
Great teacher, awesome lectures, and pretty easy online quizes. His tests -midterm and final- make up the majority of the grade, and are very difficult. Fun, nice, great to work with, but don't expect an easy A
Took his Native American Culture class. He is by far one of the best teachers I've ever had. He is so nice and very funny. He loves what he teaches and made me love it too. I highly reccomend him as a professor
Very energetic and funny! He's a great professor!
good professor sometimes goes off on a rabbit trail but i would definately recommend taking him for a history class!
He is a cool guy but, he sucks at teaching and staying on point, he fails almost all of his students he doesn't like. True fiend
Arnold is such an enjoyable professor! He makes the material not only interesting, but makes sure the class stays interactive. Up beat and always moving. Material presented clearly and is easy to connect to a bigger picture.
Arnold is a good teacher. Surprisingly he remembered the majority of the classes name. He loves having discussions and hearing everyones opinion. All around he is a very good teacher!
Dr. Arnold is a really go teacher. You can tell that he actually wants to teach. His class is hard but you learn a lot. If you want to breeze through college without learning anything then dont take this class.
Dr. Arnold was by far one of the best teachers that I have had. He made class very interesting and if I were you I would definitly take his History III class (which is what i took) because its in more modern times (end of WWII-Present) unless you like older stuff. He has a good sense of humor and gives more than he needs to to help you pass.
Arnold is amazing. He's funny, witty, and an all around great teacher. Yes, he does talk too incomprehensibly fast sometimes, and yes, the weekly quizzes and document analysis papers suck, but if you attend class, and keep in touch, Arnold will help you better understand the topics at hand.
Really good teacher, very entertaining and keeps the subjects interesting. If you have the option, do his extra credit and it will save you if you do bad on the in class essays. Just tie the subjects into the "larger picture"
Good teacher, not too hard but he lectures ALL period EVERY DAY. You can do good on the quizzes w/o the book, just look up the answers as you do it, and if you think you got a bad grade and can put up a good enough argument for why you're right he'll change your grade
Great Prof
This man is a wonderful man. He speaks with such great enthusiasm; he is a genuinely nice guy; he makes a subject I previously thought dreadful interesting and fun! All-around cool guy.
LOVED his class. He was a great professor. He is actually really funny as well. Highly recommend him to anybody. He does require work in his class, but If you pay attention and take notes, you should be fine.
He is very enthusiastic about history. i learned a lot in his class. it's pretty easy if you pay attention, come on time, and take the online quizzes- he uses the Angel program a lot. You take a lot of notes but the finals are not too hard. I'd recommend him.
Took Hist. of the PNW online and though there were a few chapters to read each week the homework load wasn't too much to handle. The book was interesting, as well as the instructors input. He always gives feedback and is available when needed unlike most online profs. You can tell he's very enthusiastic about teaching and history. Highly suggest!
Online class: Lots of reading of the text that can be found cheaply online. Final is in person and is in all 'short answer' form. Arnold is kind, helpful, and discriptive. Smart guy who likes to share his intelligence.
He REALLY likes history.
He is very enthusiastic and loves his history. He makes the class interesting and does not require a lot of work. He jokes a lot and is very personable. He doesn't give strict assignments and prefers you to put it in your own words. I would highly recommend him.
Dr.Arnold is a really nice guy! You can tell that he is very passionate about his job. He comes to class everyday in a great mood, and his lectures are not boring. HW is easy and every week there is a quiz which isn't too bad. I passed really well barely reading the book. Just focus on his lectures, powerpoints, and notes and you'll do fine.
Took him for an online Native American Culture class. Very nice guy and made the class interesting. Very easy to get 4.0
Possibly the nicest guy I’ve ever met. If you’re mean to him I may have to beat you up. He is sarcastic and cracks jokes. He’ll work with you if you need an extension. He is a little ADD when it comes to teaching so he gets off course, no biggy. I learned something and that’s the important thing. However, my favorite history teacher is still Woods!
Would seriously recommend David to anybody. Very passionate about what he does, and makes the topic interesting! Easy 20 point quizzes online, if you've read the chapter you'll pass easy, and you can always argue your answer and he'll give you credit.. Put in s little effort with notes and reading the chapters and it's an easy A :)
Would not recommend to anyone. Doesn't stay on topic and does not make assignments clear. Canvas is basically your professor
Decent teacher. at first I was skeptical but then I started supporting my answers more and got good grades. Theres two assignments due every weekend and they are lengthy. So don't procrastinate!
Dr. Arnold makes what he wants very clear. He is open to any ideas in discussions. This class has a discussion almost every week as well as a quiz and an assignment out of the book. All the quizzes are easy as long as you read the chapter. There is a midterm paper and a final that is more of an outline for a paper.
I highly recommend Dr. Arnold to anyone. As long as you don't procrastinate your weekly assignments, and read, you'll be fine. He's clear about what he wants and passionate about what he's teaching. He wants you to actually learn something!
Do not take this class expecting to skim chapters and get an A. You need to read every chapter from start to finish every week and watch movies to succeed on homework and discussions. However, the professor is very helpful if you need him and very friendly. The textbook is interesting, so it's not too painful to read. No slackers!
Arnold is a great professor, his lectures are interesting and he's extremely nice and helpful. He is not intimidating at all and it's really easy to ask him questions. I've taken my last two history classes with him and both were great. It's pretty easy, but he likes hard workers. Highly recommend.
I wish Dave taught math, too, because he explains the concepts of history so thoroughly. Engages all students and expects participation. Gives grades for showing up and asking good questions. **WARNING** Wait until after quarter starts to buy textbook! Also, DO NOT do your midterm project on Nazis - he's SICK of them! Go the extra mile on papers!
I took this class as a hybrid class. Half online, Half lecture. I really wish I had taken his class with full lecture, because he gave very useful lectures. Workload may surprise you, be prepared. I'd Recommend him.
Though really it's more like a history course than one strictly about cultures, you MUST take this class. You won't regret it. Dr. Arnold is very helpful and there were no major exams. Just be willing to work hard to keep up and always contribute to the discussion. Heartbreaking, but your eyes will be forever opened
Dave is the best. His lectures are so interesting. He doesn't just blow you away with facts- most of class was spent discussing different perceptions of historical events. For online quizzes, you read A LOT, but he will let you justify your answer if you get it wrong and he'll give you credit. Thought-provoking guy. Wish I could take him again.
Dr. Arnold is the man. He has such a passion for teaching and wants nothing else but for his students to learn the material. About one online quiz per week and no tests. Just a Mid term and Final in class essay style. He is a wonderful teacher and wonderful person and I can not wait to take him again in the spring!
Great treacher. loved this class, always willing to help, sometimes slept in class but still passed, also skipped sometimes and still passed with a B. loved it always willing to help.
Dr. Arnold is amazing! Really gets the class engaged in the lectures, and it's extremely informative. He does a fantastic job of preparing you for the in class essay tests with review thesis worksheets and all. His lectures are super fun and he's a hilarious and extremely intelligent man. I am looking forward to taking another class from him.
Dr. Arnold is a really cool guy. If you can take his class in person, I would recommend that, but online was fun! There were no tests, only discussions and study questions. You really have to put some effort into the answers to get an A, but if you put in the time, it is pretty easy. I would DEFINITELY take a class from him again.
I've enjoyed taking his class this quarter. Expectations are clear and he gives you a good amount of time to get things turned in. Put in the effort and you'll ace the class.
He is obviously passionate about what he teaches. I enjoyed his humor and lectures. Quizzes can be challenging, however he offers multiple ways to redeem missed answers. He is a quality professor, and as long as you participate in class, you will do well. He was always available for students with questions or students looking to improve their grade
He was fun to listen to, he would always make his lectures part enlightening and part funny. You can really tell by how he talks that he is passionate about what he is teaching. I would recommend his class to anyone. The only thing to be careful about is that he stresses class participation, so attendance is stressed but not mandatory.
Dr. Arnold is an awesome professor, very helpful, and willing to take the time to help any student out. He makes the class fun, and with the learning community I took with Eng 244, it was an experience that I will remember. I would recommend this to any student that is looking to knock out 10 credits. Great class, and great professor.
Dave is fabulous, though you might English 102 first to do well on the midterm and final. Don't be afraid to participate in class - he enjoys and respects that! Don't just do the minimum for the online discussions. He's looking for really thoughtful insight and opinion. Don't do your final paper on Vietnam or Watergate - overdone!
Very good professor! He is very knowledgeable, nice, funny, and is very passionate about history. I've always hated history but he actually made me enjoy his class very much. Rather than just talking about the events and what people did, he explains why things happened and the social & economical issues of the time. Highly recommend Dr. Arnold! :)
If you can, take this class later in the day - there are fewer students and more discussion, which is really helpful and fun. Dave loves in-class participation and well-thought-out answers in online discussion. If you really make an effort and do more than the minimum you'll be rewarded. Uses music to teach concepts of history. FANTASTIC prof!!
I took Native American history because I found it interesting, well that has been killed by this class. The people on here who said he's easy as long as you work hard are a bunch of liars, if you care about your GPA I suggest that you take a different class. I spend more time doing this class than my other two classes combined.
My favorite prof at CBC. Really clear and easy to understand, he is very helpful. You have to put in the work to get an A, but he makes it interesting. Highly recommended.
Hes clear but tough. Wish he was a easier grader but not to bad!
He's a great professor! He is very energetic and is great at keeping the class engaged. You can't expect to just coast through the class, but if you take the time to do the best you can do, you will get a good grade.
A little bit all over the place but very clear on what he ants. Is very willing to help in any way and tries to get all students involved in the lecture. No midterm and no Final, but there are long discussions that are so awful. You have to watch movies and read lots in order to thoroughly answer discussion questions. Eye opening class.
First class, first year at CBC. Best professor I have had so far. He is passionate about his class and students success. Interesting and funny. Makes you want to give your best effort.
Overall a good class, although some of the stuff talked about it class is a whole different thing than what you are reading as homework, and have quizzes on them about a week apart. Quizzes are tough but he lets you do a rationale for 5 of them and get full credit back. Cool guy and he is very into history! btw expect lectures and a lot of notes.
His in class lectures are long, and they have nothing to do with the readings and quizzes you will do online. He's a nice guy and if you enjoy lectures take his class, but the class is time consuming. He also expects lots of class participation, so if you like sharing your thoughts this is a good class for you.
Don't be fooled by the fact that this class only meets twice a week, there's still a ton of homework. Although it's not very hard, there is a lot you have to do during the week in order to be able to participate in the weekly discussion. This class has no midterm or final though!
Very good professor. He has been teaching for easily 20 years, and he knows what he's talking about. Very helpful, lovely person to talk to. If you text, distract others, or talk, he will have no tolerance for you. He expects you to learn. Many will say he is hard, but he really cares about history, and wants to push you.
Expect 4 Doc analysis and 2 research questions but not complete Thesis, and online quizzes, 1 per chapter. Captures students attention and makes learning US History interesting! bluebook midterm and final. Does not like WMD, weapons of mass distraction, cell phones, tablets, etc. Would easily take a class with him again!
Very sarcastic and kind of rude. Alot of text book reading there a chapter quiz almost every week online, and alot of writing, but non-essay formats.
Arnold is an excellent teacher. Even when teaching modern history , he is good at staying neutral. You will learn a lot from this course and it is not super difficult to get an A. It is a fun class as well.
Professor Arnold was engaging and really knows his stuff. Class participation is required. I learned quite a bit.
He is an amazing professor with a lot to talk about when it came to the Native American Culture. I appreciated all of his stories and the quizzes were online and simple since it was open book.
Too many things to do. Most of the assignments that he gives us are writing papers. Something like answering the questions, but each of them has to be like at least 200-300 words. If you write less than that you will get bad grade. Also, almost every week there are video assignments. And each videos are about an hour long. Needs a lot of effort.
History is one of my worst subjects (E.g got a C in 8th grade history). That being said, this class was amazing. His lectures are amazing because he is passionate about what he's teaching. Quiz every week, sometimes more than one (for me, online/open book). Mid/Final in class essay. Also, discussions on canvas and a Document Analysis project.
Dr. Arnold is by far my favorite professor so far at CBC. Not only is he really passionate about what he teaches but he cares about his students too. I took one of his online classes and he was very well organized and his feedback comments were always helpful and he replied very quickly. I would definetly recommend taking him!!
He's an awesome teacher ! Love his teaching technique
I will admit that the first day of Dave's class worried me. I thought that I would hate his class, and now I'm signing up for more of his classes for next quarter. He is hilarious, sarcastic, and so passionate and knowledgeable about what he teaches. He has weekly online quizzes. midterm and final are essays that he gives you at the beginning ofqtr
I found myself excited to show up to class because of how great his class is. He's hilarious and make the class super fun. You can tell he's really passionate about his job which is really refreshing! Also the assignments and homework don't take very much time. Really as long as you show up to class and pay attention you will pass this class.
Outstanding professor, entertaining lectures, easy grader and gives great feedback.
Great teacher. He is obviously very into his job and what he is doing. Love his teaching style and is by far one of the funniest teachers. However, he gives a lot of homework, and weekly quizzes about the book. If you dont actually read all the book and pay you attention in class and take notes, you wont pass the class.
Dr. Arnold is one of the best teachers I've ever had - entertaining, funny, and grades very fairly. He has amazing lectures, and if you study, the midterm and final will be a piece of cake.
He's one of the best profs at CBC! I took this online & my only advice: if you have the opportunity to take him in class, DO IT because he's a wonderful lecturer & an inspiring professor! I'm grateful for his engaging class which deviates away from the traditional online class & includes lectures, articles, movies - all deeply thought provoking!
Dr. Arnold is amazing. He cares for his students, he loves history, and he is also super funny. He likes to play music from different time periods, he is very enthusiastic with his lectures, and he is just an overall great guy. Quizzes are online, but not on quizlet. I never opened the text book, and he does give a few points for attendance.
AMAZING! I love Dr. Arnold with my whole heart. He is a great guy and an even better professor. I had his class at 8:00 a.m and every morning without fail, Dr. Arnold was able to pull our class out of a morning funk with his lively lectures. You can tell this guy loves what he does. H.w is fairly easy and midterms and finals are DBQ essays.
Dave genuinely cares for his students. Hes not extremely hard on deadlines. He hates when students are on their phones so do not use them. He makes class fun.
I'm not a history fan or buff but Mr. Arnold kept it interesting for me. Learned a ton. We had 4 writing assignment, one document analysis (get to choose from several topics), 7 online quizzes from the book (your will need the book), and two in class writing assignments. Follow his rubrics to get a good grade. He also offered extra credit.
This class is easy to pass as long as your trying. He is a funny guy but this class still is very lecture heavy and boring. Most days are spend analyzing songs which might be good for some people but was not a good way for me to learn about history. Quizzes are easy, midterm and final is pretty difficult.
His lectures are great! took him for my 8am fall quarter and he would make learning fun. Recommend to take good notes and ask questions when ever you feel confused. He really loves teaching history and that's what makes it fun to learn :).
Great teacher that is able to teach History in a fun and engaging way.
Hes a great guy with a sense of humor, the quizzes arent hard at all, he lets you do rationals and it really helps your quiz grade, midterm isnt that bad as long as youre prepared, their isnt a lot of homework only plenty of reading, hes really into what he teaches theirfore makes class enjoyable.
One of the best professors I have had! I took this class in the morning but he made lectures lively and truly loved teaching. He would be so enthusiastic about the content and often times he'd make the class laugh. He made history interesting. If you put in the effort you will definitely pass.
Dave was awesome! It was obvious he cared about his students. He gave really good feedback on discussions, and overall it was a great class! There are discussions, quizzes, and online lectures and thats it! No final!
Arnold was very passionate about the course and made it a lot of fun! Read and prepare for the quizes, midterm, and final and youll pass. One big paper
Dave was a funny professor. super nice and easy to talk to. the class was kinda difficult though. theres one document analysis project, 9 discussions, chapter quizzes (usually on quizlet), and the midterm/final are essays. take good notes and study and youll be fine
Professor Arnold is a solid choice for history classes. He does give weekly quizzes and sometimes writing assignments, but nothing unusual. He truly loves what he does and cares about his students. The midterms and finals aren't too difficult and he prepares you greatly. I can't wait to take him again next quarter!
Arnold is awesome! I've never genuinely cared about class topics until i took this class. You watch interesting (heartfelt) documentaries and learn about Native Americans. There's quizzes/discussions every week but they're super easy as long as you read the articles, watch the movies, and read a couple of book pages. He makes sure you get the topic
Really enjoyed this class and the lectures that were provided. There are a lot of videos and readings that are hard to get through just due to the topics. Really passionate about the subject and provides feedback, about 5 hours of work a week including discussion boards. One of the best teachers Ive taken online and the structure setup was amazing
Arnold was very engaged in the subject that was being taught and he is an amazing professor at CBC. However, I was not enjoying the class just because the subject was very boring. ICS125 was a hybrid so basically homework every day and you have to complete one assignment to move on. I got behind and was VERY hard to catch up. But he's great.
He was really great loved his class!
Professor Arnold was easily one of my favorite professors that Ive had. He is so passionate about what he teaches. He gives a generous amount of reading but he makes it interesting.
Dr. Arnold was the best teacher I've had at CBC! Take his Native American Studies class, it will change the way you think about the Indigenous people. Awesome, hilarious teacher! Totally will take another class with him!
I took the class online and did the work as if I was in class. Average homework is about 5 hours of class time a week. Take notes and you will do great! Do the extra credit and it will help boost your grade. Be thorough in your responses. Dave is a great instructor and one that I was easily able to follow and enjoy being in his class! A+ guy!
Loved the setup of the class. Really nice guy. Very dedicated to the things he teaches. Assigns movies and readings. Very educational and inspirational
Please take this class! Not only is the professor an absolute king, but the coursework and content will be a worldview changer. Loved this class, the only redeeming part of winter quarter. The work is not too hard, but you learn, and you're allowed to work ahead except on discussions. Professor Arnold is one of my CBC favorites.
Dr. Arnold is a great instructor. Gives good lectures and homework. Very understanding, considerate and passionate with his work. Homework and school work instructions are easy to understand. Instructor is helpful and respectful. I would 100% take the class again.
Really knows his stuff. Very insightful. He responds to discussions and comments in a timely manner. You can tell he really likes his job and his students.
Honestly, what a legend. I didn't think I could appreciate history as much as I did learning from Dr. Arnold. Just come in ready to learn, go to all the lectures, take ample notes, and put care into your writing assignments, and you will learn a lot + have a ton of fun. The man is just spilling with knowledge.
You'd be very lucky to have Dr. Arnold as your professor. I liked him so much that I plan on taking more of his classes. Textbook is free. He offers extra credit in each module. There is a lot to read on so make sure you do the readings. He allows you to redeem up to 3 questions that you may have gotten wrong. Very caring and compassionate.
Honestly, the best teacher I've had, yet! This guy is highly rated for good reason. He loves teaching, and it shows. He is so enthusiastic, you can't help but get excited about the lessons and it barely even feels like work. He genuinely cares about his students and tries to help, he gives good feedback. Really wish he could teach all my classes.
Prof Arnold is really passionate about what he teaches and that is great. However, his class has a lot of homework and it is kinda ridiculous. There is about one movie every week that is about an hour and a half long that has an assignment that goes with it. There is also a bunch of other assignments and discussions.
He is a good teacher that honestly cares about students. He gives feedback on almost every assignment and quickly responds to students. You do have to watch a lot of movies though probably on average 1 a week.
Honestly, he was amazing. The first big thing that instantly made me like him was that he emailed me saying he got my accommodations and that if I needed something just talk to him. He's been willing to give me extra time with no problem. He's quite funny and passionate but be warned he can and will talk a lot.
The worst, made me not want to go to class and I was miserable. SO hard and so much work.
Super awesome and caring professor that will do what he can to help you with your grade. He is very engaging and passionate about his subject which made his course more interesting for me and I actually learned some stuff. There is a lot of reading and watching videos but nothing too difficult. Highly recommend if you need a humanities course.
Had Dr. Arnold for history and you can tell he cares about what he does, class was average difficulty we had 4 papers but he drops one test are a breeze if you read the text book. Attendance isn't mandatory but is a small part of your grade, if your looking to actually learn something without stressing about school work take his class.
Amazing Professor made class very interesting. Just read the material watch the lectures or short movies and answer some questions about it. I would take him again he is very passionate about what he teaches and makes it as simple as possible. Native American history was amazing to learn about with Professor Arnold.
I was miserable every time I went to this class. He's strict and assigns lots of homework. He sometimes calls on people and if you don't know the answer he embarrasses you for not knowing. He has four essays the fourth one being the final but it's option. Lots of quizzes though and long videos to watch.
He's a great teacher with some amazing and engaging lectures! Took his two quarters in a row and both of them were great. The Essay's that you do are pretty easy as in class he usually helps everyone get a general essay outline done. And he gives you points back for explaining your reasoning for certain questions on canvas which was great!
Amazing class lectures! very fun and he keeps it interesting and entertaining. the work looks like a few quizzes, a couple exams, some videos, and extra credit!
One of the best professors I've ever had in my two years at CBC. I would 100% take his class again, and I recommend it too. He's really passionate about what he teaches, and cares more about you understanding the assignments than getting answers right. As long as you show some form of understanding, you'll get full points.
This professor is amazing and really cares about his students. I recommend taking a class with him!
This professor is truly amazing - so passionate and engaging. While the workload is heavy, with lots of movies and assignments, it's worth it. The lectures are super helpful, and using tools like Unstuck study alongside the course material really helped me nail the concepts.
I loved Professor Arnold! He is a great professor; he is always available outside of the classroom, and he provides clear, precise pathways to success in his class. On top of all that, he always tried to make us laugh, and gets an A+ in my book!
I like the class but don't ever let him catch you looking at your phone. He chewed me out in front of the entire class after he had already come talked to me and I stopped when asked. He often gets distracted and losses lecture time because he repeats himself so much. If you want a professor who treats you with respect, don't take his classes.
great professor. while the workload is heavy some days, it's really manageable as long as you stay on top of the assignments. id exams are easy as long as you take notes and read. he's a fair grader, clear about what he expects for the class. if you think you deserve a different grade on an ID exam, he encourages you to come negotiate the grade.
This professor is very passionate about what he does, which makes lectures super fun and interesting. He does quizzes after every unit that are very easy, just explaining what you've retained from lectures. He's very willing to help you, and it's basically impossible to get anything below a B unless you try to fail. Makes a sense of community!!
