He is relatively easy. There will be 13 something pop quizzes throughout the semester, but in the end he will take only 9 highest quizzes. There will be 4 exams, but the lowest one will be dropped and the exam average will be the average of the highest 3. There is some extra credit stuff on OWL to rescue your grade also.

Dr. B was a great professor, he was straightforward and not difficult to understand. During the lectures he would give small quizzes which helped me retain the information he was giving out. He also had humor which made the lecture classes enjoyable. Would def retake if given the opportunity.

Lectures are boring but very thorough. Exams are free response with partial credit + usually a 10-14 pt curve. He is a sweet man and will break things down for you in office hours. Grade cut off as an 88. No Iclicker, so you don't have to sweat missing lecture. Sometimes I would skip to study the material on my own instead or for another class.

ELITE professor. Loved this dude and his class. Genuinely learned, and most of it was a repeat from AP chemistry. Highly conceptual, but that's just chemistry in general. Had great diagrams and could tell was very smart. Runs a lab with some cool topics as well. Class was pretty easy. HW for each lecture, and pop quizzes almost every class

A LOT of pop quizzes - most can be done w/ other poeple, and are very easy. Exams are manageable if you put enough time and energy into studying - they are very similar to practice exams but make sure you know EVERYTHING on the study guide he provides. Lectures are long and boring, don't recommend taking this class at 8:00am. He's very sweet!

Professor Barondeau's lectures cover topics well. If you miss a few, his slides and his practice exams are more than enough to study for his exams. As long you go through those, the class is an easy B or A (Great curves). Very passionate about chemistry. Random pop quizzes but they're open class and he'll help you if you're stuck.

His teaching style is a little hard to follow as he reads off slides more often than not, but through the year he has taken constructive criticism to try to improve. Chem is a difficult class in general; this professor helps more than the others by assigning 4 exams and a final that replaces the lowest exam grade. The best way to study for exams is to do the practice tests numerous times and study the ALEKS. If you try to understand rather than memorize, you'll do great. DON'T PROCRASTINATE!
