Professor Beaulieu is an amazing professor! He makes his own PowerPoints and and tests. He tries to take the anxiety out of testing and does't assign much homework- just 3 short assignments throughout the semester. Tests are long and need to be studied for but are very straightforward, if you put inn the effort your grade will show it.

Professor Beaulieu is one of the best teachers I've ever had, he is super caring, patient, and he will give you chances and help you even after the end of the semester. If you record the review with the study guide that he'll give you, you'll make an A. His lectures are hilarious and suuuuuper interesting. Don't miss the opportunity to take him!!!!

Great class! He makes stats so nonstressful and easy to understand. All assignments, including exams, have unlimited time and are open notes, so its so easy to make an A. He also gives out abundant opportunities for extra credit. I dedicate around 2 to 4 hours on this class a week and still learn so much, so I highly recommend.

Dr. B. takes advantage of every minute of lecture time. Be ready with printed power points and take extensive notes. Do not miss class as a lot of extra content is covered that will be on the tests. There are many online assessments that will also be included on the tests. Does give extra credit by points by early essay turn in and test reviews.

Overall this professor was good. The greatest deterrent was a LOT of work. Extra credit was available which you will benefit from. Be sure to research if you are taking Psyc statistics. There may be a better professor out there if not I recommend him as a second option.

A lot of busy work but he breaks down formulas & concepts very well with his Powerpoints & PDF summaries. Unlimited timing on tests & hw. Very accessible via email. Extremely generous extra credit assignments (which are mandatory) that add points to your final grade. 3 exams total (includes the final). You have to earn your A but def doable.

Great professor! Has an amazing balance between teaching and having fun. Although lasting an hour and a half, his lectures fly by. He always finds a way to include something interesting within them so the concepts will make sense. Very easy grader in my opinion, but studying is a must. Not a very difficult class, but I did learn a lot!

I took Dr. Beaulieu's winter mini-mester and it was great! He gives you the powerpoints and the quizzes are straight from that. I used my online textbook minimally but I received a trial period so I did all my readings during that time. The tests were just a combo of questions from the quizzes. Super easy course!

Mr. Beaulieu is an awesome professor! There is a lot of content to learn, but his lectures and online material makes it easier to absorb. His test reviews are very helpful and I am sure I would not have achieved an 'A' without them. He has a sense of humor which makes his lectures more interesting. Take his class if you have the opportunity!

Makes his lessons fun by making jokes and using his experience to explain what he is talking about.

Great professor. He responds to emails quickly and also grades pretty quickly too. He was very helpful with my Honors paper. He is nice and funny. The way he formats his class for online is super easy to navigate as well. Make sure you keep up with your work since its more of a work-at-your-own pace class

I took him online in Spring 2020. He used locker(forgot the name) and webcams when taking tests. I liked him because the review questions he had were basically the test questions, only thing was you dont know which review questions would be on the test. He let us use the notes we had to make from his PowerPoint on chapter quizzes.

Took him during a 3 week mini and it was a lot but thats what I signed up for! 5 tests and over 100 short answer quizzes in a short amount of time. Does offer extra credit and reviews for test however you still have to study a lot. Lectures are just power points no audio which was fine with me. This is college people you have to work for your grade

Took him for Honors 2301. A lot of assessments for each section of the chapter, but does not use textbook. He gave great and specific feedback on my Honors project and made my first honors class easy. Has due dates but works with you and is very flexible. Can work ahead. Easy grader for the most part. Tests are w/webcam and a lot of short answers

Amazing. Took Honors PSYCH 2301. The honors project was 15% of the grade. Units have assessments for each subchapter by reading PPT, no textbook. About 10 assessments w/ 2-5 questions each. Gives amazing feedback for honors projects, best I've had. Took online sync and he used that time to do one-on-one mentor meetings for projects. No lectures.

Great professor. Exams taken at home with lockdown browser and video proctored. No textbook. A lot of small assessments with 1-5 questions for each subchapter.

Lots of lecture based lessons with quizzes for each one. All of the quizes were quite easy, as you're able to take them open book/note. The content in the lectures was informative, humorous, and easily digestable. The tests were hard and required a lot of memorization, but he provides a study guide to make studying easier. Awesome Professor!

I never had to contact Prof B, and I consider that a good thing. LOTS of material, but that's Gen Psych for you, not a blow off class, and I took an 8wk. No hw, section assignments (aka 2-4 question quizzes) , just "extra credit" (aka 20 question tests) and "quiz" (aka 50-70 questions big tests). Nothing about the course is hard, just a LOT.

Awesome professor. The weekly assignments are easy. Make sure to study the reviews to the T and do the MEDD-Cs; both are EXACTLY what will be on the test, which was super helpful. He also doesn't mind questions at all. I read a lot of people saying his tests were extremely hard but it's just a matter of studying the reviews and doing the work.

Awesome and humorous professor. I took summer session. Finished in 1 month. It's kinda rush, but also save lots of time. Make sure to study the reviews, you will find all are exactly the same on the test. So focus and participate in class, you understand the materials and then study the review then you can get A. Psychology is interesting actually!

I took this as an honors class and I'd recommend it. The professor gave very good feedback and helped students with the honors material. The textbook was never used and the tests and quizzes were exactly like the study guides he gave out. He is very friendly and his lectures were very interesting. The class is very note/lecture-heavy.

His lectures and slides were so easy to understand. Read it and study and you will make a 100. I took his 4 week summer online class and it was the easiest class I have ever taken. Love the organization.

One of the best professors you will ever take. He will give you everything you need and more to succeed. You still have to show up to class and study, but he makes that easy because his lectures are interesting and memorable and he makes great study guides that absolutely will prepare you for the tests. Very accommodating as well!

I highly recommend Dr. Beaulieu's class. He fosters an inclusive environment by encouraging students to participate and ask questions without judgment; his lessons are infused with humor and movie references, which make engaging easy and fun. For those interested in psychology, I also recommend asking him about joining the psychology club!

Because it was an online class you could go in your own pace. Material an quizzes were a lot but I consider them necessary. He was also very understanding with due dates problems or exams. All exams were online controlled by camera. I love the way he doesn't make us read the textbook but provides powerpoint that are super easy to understand

Prof B's lectures are clear and engaging. Use unstuck AI alongside the textbook to ace the tests - the review guides are on point!

Took this course online and everything is laid out for you so you can work ahead of the due dates. At first, the amount seems like a lot but it's just 2 to 4 links per topic when you rarely need them. The actual PowerPoint provided is short overall like they're teaching a 6th-grade class. Open note quiz for each topic. Study Guide is almost exact.

Professor Beaulieu was amazing. He kept engagement with his lectures, making them interesting and fun. Class work was easy, only a few lessons online due weekly. Class was only lecture most of the time. Had study guides for each test and it was just like the test. I would take him again as a teacher, seriously one of the best!

Professor Beaulieu's class is mostly lecture based, with all of the information available online from the beginning of the year. Homework is minimal, and if you do the study guides you'll get an A. He makes an effort to make his lectures entertaining, and it usually works!

This course involves a lot of reading. I had to complete about 13 small quizzes every Sunday by 11 p.m. The quizzes come with short stories, and the quizzes were either 1-5 multiple-choice questions or questions you had to answer with about a sentence or three. You have 5 tests that come with a bonus test for extra points. It was an easy class

I loved Dr. Beaulieu's class. He even wrote my recommendation letter for me (as I took this class for dual credit while in high school). The exams had a clear review that stated everything possible that would be on the exam. Not only did I find his lectures engaging, but I found myself discussing them outside of class. Would take the class again!

He always makes sure that if you need to meet with him (even outside of his office hours) he will meet with you. He doesn't grade harshly. If you make an effort to go over your test with him (even if you scored well) he will try to find ways to raise your grade up. He offers extra credit (and lists it before the semester even starts).
