Textbook not needed, just go to class and make sure to take extra notes. I don't know if he's super inspiring, but I thought he was a good prof with an obvious passion for his teaching. His jokes are inappropriate sometimes, but other than that no complaints. Class not scaled - letters are set to certain percentages. Memorize and study

Dr Begg is an incredible prof, he really wants to make sure you understand concepts. First midterm and the final weren't super difficult but the second midterm was horrible, study the nervous system as much as it will be your downfall! Begg is an incredibly inspirational prof who is clearly passionate about what he does. Highly recommend this class

Anatomy is a very challenging, demanding course so be prepared to do a lot of work for this class. The textbook is not needed, and attendance is mandatory. This course was basically all memorization work. Dr. Begg is an amazing prof and explains concepts clearly and in a way you can understand. The last class he makes a speech, definitely attend.

Dr. Begg is one of those profs who clearly cares about his students, and he can be quite funny at times. I was expecting to really like anatomy because I love physiology, but it's a course that's very memorization-intensive which I didn't care for as much-- I prefer concepts and understanding over the names things.

Dr. Begg is a solid professor. The problem being is that the notes (slides)that are posted are bare, often containing unnecessary diagrams. You must write down everything he and the other profs say during lecture to do well as he often asks questions from things he has mentioned that are not on the slides. Highly recommend the textbook to do well.

Dr. Begg is one of the best professors that I've ever had in my University experience. He is very interesting and is very passionate about his subject area. He has so many hilarious stories and jokes but also cares for his students. Ultimately, he is a very inspirational person who will make you actually like what you're learning. Amazing prof!

... this won't help anyone because he is retiring. Maybe he'll read over his own rating and therefore this is for you. I had a final exam after the last lecture but I stayed to listen to the post-lecture speech and I was not dissapointed. Dr. Begg, thank you for the inspiring speech and I hope you have a good retirement!
