Professor Bell is a wonderful instructor. He is helpful and will take the time to explain any problem you may be having with math.

Mr. Bell was great. Very helpful and answered any questions I had after class. He sometimes grades on a curve, not that grading on a curve is a good thing for everybody.

Professor Bell is a great teacher. He assigns quite a bit of work, but it pays off in the end. He's easy to understand and is available to help with any questions. The guy also has a cool sense of humor - a definite plus.

although i didn't do well in his class, he was extremely helpful and was always willing to help you out. the self-paced threw me off because i was too lazy to do the assignments since he didn't collect them. if you do the homework and ask plenty questions you will do just fine.

Took his class over the summer and really enjoyed it. I thought the self-paced course was great! Not everthing was easy but he was there to help with the questions. I wish he taught in the evening.

Great Teacher. Takes time to help. Self-paced so you have to have self control and do the work. You take test when your ready but he gives you a guide to go by. Awesome class. One on one help. I highly recommend him.

Mr Bell is great for this self-paced class. I had him for Elementary Algebra 2 years ago and I knew then that I would take him for my Intermediate class. I am not the best in Algebra, but with Mr Bells help (his assistant too) I am able to get through the class. Elementary I passed with a B.

I had his self space class, he will only help you if you ask. His assistent Elizabeth is much better, and she will explain better. He would miss so many days. He does not follow his agenda. If you had a question he will explain , but so fast.If you need help in math dont take him, he is too fast.

I had Mr. Bell for Self-paced Elementary Algebra and I am taking his class now for Intermediate Algebra. I think he is an awsome teacher. I also thought he is very helpful. Like he says, "If you don't ask questions, then how do I know that you are having trouble?"

Taken him for intermediate algebra. Pretty good, just takes more work for others to grasp how he teaches.

I had him for Intermediate Algebra and the advice that i can't emphasis enough is ASK QUESTIONS if you need help and if he's still confusing keep on asking, our class was quiet so he couldn't help us a lot, but he lets us go up to the board and work out problems with the whole class and was pretty nice about everything

I have struggled in math throughout high school and found this teacher very helpful. Even though the work may not be a breeze, as long as you are self-disciplined and not afraid to ask questions you should be fine. You aren't forced to do homework, but I would recommend that you do ALL of the work and the class will not be a pain!

Professor Bell was a very nice guy. His class is self paced which i liked because if others fall behind you can continue on. He is strict about attendance and work. He keeps up with your work and lets you know where you stand. Great teacher. Makes you work hard:)

Prof Bell's class was not EASY, but he was great at helping students understand. He makes you earn the grade, as I think a good teacher does... but he helps you if you put forth the effort.

This is a selfpaced class, if you are not responsible enough to "pace yourself" then you should take a different class. Prof Bell will take as much time as any student needs to explain any problem and never makes you feel dumb, even if you ask the same question 20 times!!!It's algebra, so of course it isn't easy! But Bell is an excellent teacher!

He really is a good teacher. and he is very helpful, but DO NOT TAKE A SELF-PACED CLASS unless you yourself is disciplined enough to do it! If you fail behind a little you will be playing catch up for the rest of the term. bt if you think you can handle it he is a good professor.

Prof has had some bad apples in his classes, and U can tell. His syllabus is very clear about his expectations, and shows he thinks he is babysitting instead of teaching. As an adult, I find it insulting to be talked down to so I didn't appreciate his style. He did answer questions and give help when asked, and I did the work and got an A

Had him over a year ago...I am really good at math so I had no problems. You just follow the text book and do the assignments online. Ask him questions and take tests in class. I just didn't like how he treats us like children. This was my first college class ever and I felt like I moved back down to middle school...

DO the Portfolio! It helps alot and it gets you extra points at the end and that got be from a B to an A. He is helpful if you ask but doing the homework and showing up for class is a must.

Professor Bell is a great teacher! I've failed college algebra SEVERAL times and he made it understandable! He's a fun guy and he'll help you if you need it! Do the work and you'll pass the class! Great teacher that I'd reccomend to anyone! :)

Professor Bell was very hard, he wasn't very clear, and went too fast through the work. He was very helpful if you went to him in private. He expected you to do way too much work, he asked for more work than any other professors. I worked extremely hard to get a B. If you do all the work and fail the tests you can still pass. Overall, nice guy.

I took Prof. Bells' hybrid course. I have always been horrible at math and could never understand it; I ended up finishing this math course 2 weeks early! He use the online Mymathlab. You can work and pretty much on your own time. He is easy to get ahold of. He interacts with the class and very helpful as long as you prove you're trying.

He was a very good teacher. He explained what was needed up front. It was a hybrid class using MyMathLab which is an excellent software program for math. He is very good about responding to questions in class, on the phone, and via email. He is strict with attendance and cell phones but that wasn't a problem for me.

Grading is fare on is based on class attendance, test and on-line homework -- he does give quizzes. You will be give the ability to earn extra credit and if you have questions he is in his office most of the time. If you put in the time, you will pass the class. If you put in the effort, you will get an A.

I highly recommend this class. Mathxl was very helpful and used a lot. Discussion boards have to be on topic and explained. I did not use the book once and still received an A in this class. His expectations were very clear and everyone should take this class.

Best teacher I have ever had. Those that don't do well in class are those that don't participate or do the work. He requires you to do your work and he'll teach it right along with what you are working on in Math XL. The only time he gives pop quizzes is when people don't participate in class. Go to class, participate, and do the work. Easy A!

Difficult class. Put problems on the homework that were not included in lecture. Half the time you are teaching yourself on mathxl. He will help you if you go and ask him. Do not expect much homework help in class due to time restraints. Does give pop quizzes fairly often and did two trick question quizzes so beware. Overall a decent class.

Fair teacher, good communication via email, homework, quizzes and practice tests are exactly as the tests. So do the homework put in the time and you will do well. I would take another class from Prof. Bell.

The math class I took was easier than I expected. I'm not terrible at math so the class was a breeze. I never actually reached out for help, but he always announced he's there for anyone in need. There are multiple ways to learn his material. Awesome and informative class!

Great Algebra Teacher. He used a Pearson's program that had lots of instructions on every type of Algebra Lesson to learn. He went over every topic in class. Everyone was very quiet but he always offered extra help if we needed it. The people who don't do well in his class are the ones that show up once a month.

As long as you do the work and go to class, youll be fine. He explains everything really well and if you have a question, just ask. Does use Pearson program a lot but it helps with content. Im awful at math but if your willing to put in the work for it, its not hard.

Great professor who will work with you if you're having issues; caring. He is a tough grader, but does give an opportunity for extra credit. All work was done on Pearson, which is very helpful, and his lectures are spent going over the material which you have access to at your leisure as well. Attendance and participation are mandatory.
