Dave is great guy and excellent professor. His lectures come from his own experiences and can be quite funny (as well as informative. Exams are verbatim what's on the study guide, so all you have to do is memorize. There were 2 papers to write for the class, but were very open ended and easy topics . I highly Recommend Dave for BLW 411.

You will get so much out of this class with Professor Bentkowski. Actually a pleasure to go to class and listen to the lecture. Everything is from real life experience which makes it incredibly easy to understand and follow. I never write a comment for professors but I just had to after taking his class.

David Bentkowski is the BEST professor! If you have to take business law make sure you take it with him. He gives real life examples and demonstrates how the real world actually is! He does not sugar coat anything and really wants students to learn. I would definitely take him again for other law classes!

One of the best classes youll take. All he asks is you come to class to learn, no need to take notes hell tell you exactly what he expects you to know for the test and give you an outline. Two papers that are about topics essentially of your choice. Great teacher

David Bentkowski is the greatest professor I've ever had at CSU. Rather than teaching material right out of the book, he tells many personal stories that relate to the concepts we're learning, which makes it so much easier to understand. I truly do wish there were more professors like him.

Bentkowski has been the most passionate professor I've had in a while. Very different style of teaching from anything I have received at CSU. Amazing lectures. I would highly recommend if you want a breath of fresh air. -Few tests, few papers, all relating to real life applications.

Things have been fairly tough as of late but no matter what i always made sure to make it to his class. They brightened up my day/week. Great guy!

I just love Bentkowsi. Such a nice ban that cares about his students and wants everyone to do well. It does not feel like a class because he tells funny stories and by those stories you learn everything. Very funny man.

Best professor you will ever have! You will learn a lot in this class so make sure to attend. His focus is to teach you about real world events, mostly current. Classes aren't difficult, but make sure to attend since the class is all lecture with no powerpoints.

He loves his family and has a strong passion for music. David taught me how to motivate myself and become more successful than the person I already am. SO thankful I took this class!

Professor Dave was my favorite professor at CSU and motivated me to come back for my MBA. Years after taking his business law class, i'm still connected with him and he agreed to meet for an interview for another class. No other professor at Cleveland state would take the time and go out of his way as much as he did.

Best class I have ever taken. This man is amazing, he is the breath of fresh air you need in college courses - you know, he is not out to get you or wanting to give you a bad grade. All-in-all the class is very easy to follow and you can finish it in a week. He is amazing, I cannot stress this enough.

CSU is prob more respected because David teaches there. Attendance is 25% of your grade, but, for an 8:30 am class I always looked forward going. He has the rare skill to take a boring topic and make it fun and interesting. Because he has had real world experience before becoming a professor, I never left class without learning something new.

Mr. Bentkowski is one of the best professors at CSU! Hes funny while giving real life examples of business law. He makes the class fun and engaging. He gives you a study guide before the exams. There are no tricks on the exams. You have to write two papers and as long as you put in the work, youll do amazing! If you have the chance, take him !!

This was one of the best classes Ive ever taken. Make sure you show up to class because you need to be there for lectures, but he will give you everything you need to prepare for the tests. There is no book so just show up and take in as much information as you can. It is a fun class and you will learn a lot

He is a great resource and cares about his students, if I could have him for all of my business classes I would. 2 papers throughout the semester, an easy 2,000 words. Lectures roughly 1 hour but keep you entertained and current with todays society. 10/10

Just read the others theyre spot on. He will teach you things you need to know in life, not all the stupid info some classes make you learn. The tests and papers are easy but for the tests its just memorization of the study guide (nothing super hard). He said everyone ends up with an A or B in the class. You wont wanna miss a class!

They say if you can't do, teach, but Professor Bentkowski most certainly practices what he preaches and preaches it in an inspiring way. Very easy class if you show up to class and listen. Bentkowski teaches you how to think for yourself and look at varying viewpoints. Super easy to talk to and if he likes you, he will give you a nickname. He also plays music at the beginning of every class which helps when it is an 8am.

Professor Bentkowski is by FAR the best Cleveland State has to offer. He's the only teacher I've had here that I've actually gotten something out of (other than credits). He isn't a mainstream media throat shoving drone that the rest of the professors here are. A great professor that you will actually get real life knowledge from. 10/10

This professor taught one of my favorite course in college thus far. He was more than professional and taught with every student in mind. The class was very accessible and he did a great job of delivering the content. I would definitely take Dr. Bentkowski as a professor again in the future.

Mayor Bentkowski was a real one! He taught us so much more about life than just mundane legal stuff that we will never use in our life. Most of the Coursework is online and you complete it at your own pace which is nice if you are taking a lot of classes. Nice guy, gets distracted easily, but is extremely knowledgeable on the subject!

Best professor I've had so far in my three years at this university. Lectures are very helpful, as he ties current world situations to the current lecture at hand. Everything is due at the end of the semester, so it's on you to pace yourself. Very funny professor as well. Makes the college experience more enjoyable.

Easiest A you'll ever get in your educational career. Class is basically like hanging out with your mostly cool right wing uncle. He basically just tells stories about his life. Class sometimes transiently shares subject matter with some of the homework you'll need to do but luckily it's not to hard and he's got a heavy curve.
