Good professor in that he engages the class and brings them into the forefront of the lecture as active listeners. Very open and understanding passive yet serious in his effort to educate. Very interesting lectures, with primary and secondary readings including supplementary text and short stories and some mythology but he ties eveything together.

He's been teaching Psyc. for awhile and follows the class' course calendar with sightly any changes to the assignments. Informs the class ahead of time on how to prepare for assigned SA's and Take home's questions. Nice sense of humor. Offers extra credits.

He have the class all planned out (will barely accept late assignments)...with little changes...offers extra credit...overall he makes pyschology class very interesting

He's great! makes learning really fun. Gives lots of work but gives you enough time to finish. His tests are really easy, just buy the study guide and study from that. You'll get A's on his tests. Great teacher to have.

overall very good , however found him trying to make fun of people who asked for help.he thinks he is a bad ass for being turned in. all the work is pretty easy , after each SA we went over it in class and got the right answers.

Mr. Berg, was a very funny and interesting teacher. His class will be easy as long as you read, study, and remember all of the class material. I recommend him to anyone who wants to take Psychology. He makes the class fun and, he puts you on the spot when you are late to class, but he is a nice teacher.

never had a teacher like this man he is great and make everything possible if you cant pass his class you better be disabled or not willing to laugh and learn at the same time.

This is one of the best Professor in CCP. His class is interesting and he will make you laugh while you actually learn Psychology. Lots of assignment however do your assignment, memorize & rewrite your essay, and study your textbook, it won't be difficult to get an A but it's not easy either though.

If you do exactly what he says, you'll pass with no problem. I also like the collaborative learning. You write a paper and bring it to class so that you can get the right answers and then retype it and turn it in for full credit.

OMG!...i am sooo mad i passed his class and wont have him again..he is the best prof. on this campus you actually learn in his class,use the book,and his teaching method is excellent.love this man!!!if you into science and actually want to work and learn and defenatly laugh take his class

Dr. Berg is a great professor. One of the best. Lots of writing assignments. If you do your work and study for the tests, easy A. He makes coming to class interesting. He's also very funny.

Professor Berg is an excellent teacher. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field and is very helpful. He requires alot of work and is particular about promptness. You will not regret taking him. You will definitely learn psychology in a very fun way! Take his class.

Favorite class in my college career. A lot of work but he makes it so easy. His style of teaching really helps you learn. TAKE THIS CLASS! Dr. Berg is fun and interesting.

Excellent Professor!

Absolutely a fabulous college experience.

Prof. Berg is a really nice guy. His tests are VERY fair, and you have to be a slacker not to pass. LOTS of writing. If you hate writing, he is not the teacher for you. Not always fair with the syllabus, but overall a good teacher.

I recommend Dr. Berg to anyone who is taking psych 101. Not only is he funny but his tests are very easy. he also will give you many oppurtunities for extra credit.

I learned alot and had to work alot, but it was worth it.

I love him. He is the best instructor I every had. I never had a boring night in his class. I wish he did other psychology or behavior health classes because I would take him.

This was my first experience going back to school after many years. He is perfect in helping the returning adult student get on the road to success.

I didn't know what I was in for when I took this course. He treated us as if we were ivy league, not community college. He had high expectations of us -- that is something I have to change in myself. He taught not only Psychology but that I am a diamond that needs a lot of polish. He really works on us to do our best.

Just finished the grueling summer session with Dr. Berg. What a great experience. It was intense and a lot of work. I really understand Psychology. What a good sense of humor too. He took personal interest in who we were and what our goals and aspirations are for the future. I highly recommend him!

What a terrific experience. I really came out of the course thinking the way a Psychologist thinks. The prof worked us pretty hard and encouraged us to manage our time properly, read ahead, get our work done on time, and really act like we were college students - not like HS babies. If he taught another course I would definitely him to friends.

Funny guy, very helpful and always willing to answer questions. A textbook is a must in his class. Also not so much that hes hard but he give a lot of work they must get done to pass his class.

Professor Berg is very good.He got my interesr It is alot ok reading and I did think I would finish the class but I did, Because he is very good at what he does,Ihave betaking some of hisuggestions on how to make the work easier. I am not stressing as much as I did in the being I am glad i stayed.

Very good class. I learned a lot in this course. He was very energetic and he was very interested in what ALL of the students wanted to do with their lives. He does give a lot of work but warns you ahead of time. If you can follow the text book and take good notes you will be great. A LOT OF WORK so be warned.

Good professor. The class was always interesting and fun. The work was a bit much, but you will apply the teachings to everyday lif.

Proffessor Berg is very helpful and loks for the best interest for every one to pass his class study, do all the assignments do the extra credit and follow the syllubus you will do great.

This was my first online course. The professor was very helpful to me with the "how to do it." There is a lot of work, but it makes you think and then apply to the world around you. We did a lot of writing and watched online videos that demonstrated the concept. I'm really glad that I took this course with this instructor.

Dr. Berg is amazing and very funny! You will be entertained during his classes! Be aware that will be lots and lots of writing... no breaks, it will be essay after essay after tests after assignments after essays, never, never ending writing and tests!!! Take the time to do all of it!!! If you taking 12 credits you might have to reconsider it

Dr. Berg is an amazing professor, he is extremely funny and in formative. Although every week we had a paper to turn in it was fun, my attending is what lowered my grade however, he does give extra credit.I wish he would teach other Psych classes!!!! You will love his class...it's a most take!!

A lot of work! You really need to study twice as much for this class. The professor is on top of his game and the chances for an A are not high on the on one exam. The pointing system that he uses for grading makes earning an A very hard. Good luck!

Dr.Berg is a very interesting Professor. He is very hilarious, and will keep the class awake. I would definitly take his class over, and recommend him to others that want to take Psychology.

Excellent Teacher!!!

He's actually very helpful. I was a little nervous to take his online class but I actually did well. It's really short semester in the summer plus online.. there's an intermediate amount of work like a forum, short vids, and an exercise which you do most of your learning. An exam every two weeks.. I liked him, he was really enthusiastic too

Dr. Berg has a good handle on facilitating an online class. You read a chapter or so per week, have one assignment and one forum post every week. The tests make sense and aren't nit-picky with dates and numerical data. He's very straightforward and wants you to do well. Not for slackers.

He is really funny but his class is not easy at all. You have to write essays after essay it like you never finish writing essays in his class. He gives you so much work that sometime you get discourage and feel like its impossible to finish all of the work. So Be prepared to do so much work and essays. Don't take him if u taking a lot of classes.

Dr. Berg is an excellent teacher. I took his online class, and he makes you think about the reality of life. Abnormal Psychology covers all aspects of mental illness and helps us understand mental disorders. If Prof.Berg taught a different subject, I would take his class. Dr. Berg is the best teacher for any Psych class.

I took his class as one of my firsts. I was out of school for almost 20 years and I was a nervous wreck inside. Needless to say, Dr. David Berg is the bomb. Yes, there was a lot of work and I enjoyed every minute of it. I lived for the challenge. He does his best to help you pass. If you're in the front row, watch out. He spits. LOL

Loved Dr.Berg, wish he taught more classes. Took Abnormal Psych online. Medium amount of work, but very steady (same type of things due on same days every week), gives excellent feedback, responds quickly to questions. All work is listed at beginning so you can work ahead if you want. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I took his online class. He is very clear on what he expects from the class. This is not a class for slackers. You do have assignments do every week. I felt like i learned from his class. I would take him again.

Mr. Berg was an amazing teacher. He came to class everyday and wanted to make sure everyone left the class at the end of the day knowing something. He is very clear when he teachers. He makes class fun and enjoy learning. If he taught another subject i would deffinitly take it. I highly recommend him. I learned sooo much about psychology.

Though I did not complete the course I must say that Dr. David Berg is a great professor a true credit to his profession. There is a lot of work to be done in his class but you will be very prepared to move on to the next level course

Dr Berg, Was a very important part of my education. This professor was so able to inspire my search for knowledge. Coming into Mr. Davis S Bergs class I was under the impression that I would major in Nursing. Took this course online and he is the most incredible professor I've ever had. Workload is not bad at all. Two due dates every week, but the content is very interesting. His feedback is fast and always very insightful. I can actually say I learned something from this course, and I don't get that a lot with online courses. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I took Professor Berg's class online and I must say I was so nervous in the beginning. After a couple weeks, the class became one of my favorites. There are a few assignments due every week but, that is because it IS a distant learning class. He is always going to answer questions and he is very clear on what is excpected of you. Overall great.

An excellent instructor! Took 2 or 3 of his courses online and he was great. He is engaged and knows his stuff - his personality comes through so it's almost like being in class in-person. The course was planned well and we used the materials that he had us purchase. I really liked the ebook and website he had us use for interactive learning.

Professor Berg is an amazing professor. This was my first online class and at first i was overwhelmed because i did not know what to expect but he was very organized and helpful. Anyone who has something bad to say was lazy, unorganized and just did not want to do work. What is wrong with meeting your deadlines? Get it together. He is awesome.

This class wasn't too hard because he gives clear instructions of exactly what your going to have every week- which is exactly what you want and NEED every week. There's a routine to the class that makes it simple, because you know what's expected of you. If you work, this class makes it pretty simple for you to succeed because dates r given in adv

I learned a lot from this professor. However his grading system is his own and if you get an 81.4 average but do not meet his standards he will give you a C anyway. This course is for those without any other obligation and not for those with jobs or family. it requires a lot of time and the test require 3 weeks of remembering everything you learn

I took him online, it was very convientient for me and I loved it. Intersting subjects we read about, gives great feedback, the only thing I hated was the fact that his grading system was terrible, I had an overal grade of an 81 and he gave me a C for midterm grade. But in the end I passed with a B, 4 or 5 exams. TAKE NOTES for the exams.

HE WAS OKAY i did not appreciate the long drawn out downloads for each activity instead of just putting them in the weekly modules other than that i was a clear if u dont do this you dont pass type class

Took this class as a 7 week online and it was a killer. 2 chapters a week, 1 discussion, review questions, and 4 tests. Whats good is that Prof. Berg is so clear with what he wants with his work so there's no guess work. And he responds so quickly to email its unbelievable. He makes up his own grading system so a 80% might mean a C in his class...

Did his online class great teacher very organized and professional, his class will keep you busy lots of reading

Just be aware that the class has many written assignments involved. You also have to purchase and sign up for LaunchPad. There is a lot of work for the weekly written assignment because he expects TWO detailed paragraphs for each question. 50 questions exam. If you follow the instruction and do your work, you will pass.

I loved this class. If you don't like reading, do not take this class. Every week you will read and answer questions. It is very time consuming. Professor Berg is a very nice man and is very clear with his assignments but expects you to do all assignments. You have to participate and make an effort. Not an easy A class.

Be prepared to work in this class. I've already gone through a B.A. program, and this class made me think and work at what I was doing. The material does pick up, but he can help you clarify if you ask him. A lot of work, but if you follow instructions and read, you'll be fine. Cite the book!

Follow his instructions to a T and do the readings you'll be fine. The material is interesting so it makes reading it easier. Very clear grading criteria, tests aren't too bad either. Took it over the summer so it was a lot of work in a short amount of time but it was doable. This was my first online course and I really enjoyed it.
