Professor Boone is a great instructor. I have taken the OSHA #500, OSHA #510 and OSHA #2055 Cranes in Construction with Professor Boone. He lays out the course before hand and you know exactly how you are supposed to conduct yourself and the curriculum for the course. Go into the course with an open mind and ask questions.

Mr. Boone did a great job of giving real life examples and showing us in the book of how issues are related to safety and how to mitigate them. I had Mr. Boone for my 511 OSHA course and he was one of the best I've had over Teams so far. Learning something online isn't always the easiest feat. His personal experiences and how he explained things in a practical manner made it easier to understand the material. He was very down to earth and made the class bearable.

I took Mr Boones osha crane class online. Typically I do not care for online classes. Mr Boone kept the class tracking and engaging the entire time. He challenged us and gave the needed support. I wish it were in person, as I am confident it would have been even better. This has by far been the best class that I have had at UTA.

Mr. Boone was a great professor, for the most part the class was a refresher for me but I did learn a few new things as well. The only thing I was not into was we would get off topic sometimes and it would take awhile to get back to the class material but in some of the off topics we went to there were lesson to be learned, Overall great class.

I do wish I was able to take this class in person but with that said, I believe Mr. Boone did everything he could to give students as much hands on experience as possible and for that I am grateful. Be aware, his personality as he says, is "not for everyone", though I found him amusing. Excellent resources given, great wealth of knowledge.

David employs multiple techniques to teach using very little PowerPoint and does not read to the class much, however, he uses a ton of real world examples from his experiences to back up and elaborate on the topic being discussed. He also uses quizzes and homework/classwork to get participation and welcomes questions from everyone.

Course was informative and the instructor was able to keep everyone's attention throughout the course

If there is anything out there that you are not familiar with especially with this particular course or anything in general with construction you are about to be. Once again good information and honest on where you need to improve.

I was really nervous about taking this class. Mr.Boone did an amazing job teaching and instructing. We learned alot of useful information andhow important it is to spread awareness about laws and regulations and also how important OSHA is to the safety of america's workers.

He is a great instructor who really know his material. He not only gives us the text book but how it applies out in the field.

He does a good job in making sure you understand the handbook and how to look for things. It's a great way to understand the handbook vs. looking online for it. It challenges you to read more standards.

Took the OHSA 7500 class (not 7505, but there is not an option in the drop down) and it was captivating. He is a fountain of knowledge and hearing real life experiences definitely brings a new perspective into frame.

Definitely looking to take more classes with Mr. Boone as an instructor. Though it was an online class. Mr. Boone made it a great learning atmosphere and made sure everyone was engaged and gave a different perspective of how to think on some things. If you are looking for a read page for page from the textbook, this is not the professor for you.

Has long winded stories, great for real world application into the workforce. Other professors are strictly book work and power points according to him so I'd imagine this model is the best way to learn because the hour requirement is strict. Great guy course work is just boring so has a tough job to make it interesting but he does a great job.

It is a lot of information in a short period of time, but taught in a way that makes it easy to apply to real world situations.

Mr. Boone brings in a wealth of experience not only in strictly safety but also from the legal side of defending or prosecuting against companies for safety reasons. This experience shapes his classes so you know the why behind everything you do as a safety professional beyond the desire to protect workers.

I have taken Mr. Boones OSHA 510 and loved it. He has very good knowledge of all issues pertaining to OSHA standards and can answer anything asked. Mr. Boone has great personal experience and knowledge regarding the subject, with tons of real world examples. He chooses to use those examples and the students typical exposure to teach the class, rather than reading straight from the book. He may get slightly sidetracked,although I found that information valuable and it pertained to OSHA guidance
