I've never had the chance to attend one of classes but this professor has always been willing to help me in my math classes. He will sit down with you one on one until you understand what is being asked. EXCELLENT FRIEND. One of the GREAT black men here.

He made sure you truly understood what he was explaining. Worked one on one if requested with students.

I had this teacher for both 0002 and 0024. He was the best math teacher ever. He grades test right after you take them and goes over it with you. If you show up for class and pay attention you will pass this class. I only wish he taught 1033.This man made me understand math in afun way!

Awesome teacher. Extremely helpful and willing to do what it takes to help you understand. Will work with your schedule if you have a hardship-just ask for his help! Very lenient-do not take advantage of this-he will take it away! He flirts alot w/women-do not take this to seriously, he has a wife and is a pastor.

This man makes math fun. I hate the subject but attending his classes made me interested in math. Does not make you feel like an idiot when you don't understand something. He loves to flirt with women but is more of a joker in that sense, don't let it scare you away. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH HIM, BELIEVE ME!

Mr. Carson is really charismatic. He loves to joke around and have fun. Sometimes he gets off topic and can be a bit confusing if you're inept at math like me, but he will repeat a problem as many times as needed until you understand so that really isn't a big deal. I'm normally a "D" student in math, but with his help I earned my first "B+".

Mr. Carson is the best, he will have your attention and you will learn in a fun environment. He will stay with you until you understand and goes step by step in all of the new math problems and at thesame time making you laugh.

I love this teacher, he was great, funny, helpful, probably one of the best teachers in hcc. I highly recommend him, u'll learn alot from him.

Having fun while you learn still exist in David Carson's classroom. He teaches on elementary level so that you can understand and learn the basic fundamentals of Algebra.I would highly reccommend this professor to anyone who may not like math but have the willingness to learn. He keeps it real and fun. Oh, his tests are easy also.

This was my 2nd time in 0024, Mr. Carson really helped me get a better understanding of math! I went from D- to A++!!! He loves math and wants his students to pass, he's very knowledgeable and freaking hilarious!!!

Mr Carson is good. I mean great. You need a good teacher who is down to earth and can break it down in laymen's term to open up students understanding. Also, other professors of the same subject have used some of his ideas to increase their success rate. If you cannot learn in his class then you are really in trouble.

If you aren't very good in math, Mr Carson is highly recommended.He takes his time and explains everything. He doesn't go on to the next lecture until he makes sure everybody understands.He is so funny and very laid back.He reviews everything thats going to be on the test the day before so you should have no problem passing his class!! HE'S AWESOME

This professor is awesome!!!! Very funny and very helpful in every way possible. Prof. Carson DEF helped me remember all the math stuff I had long since forgotten. I was a slave to the calculator, but now I can solvethe math problems again without one. His class is CRAZY FUN and he makes learning the formulas very easy. If you hate or struggle with math, TAKE HIS CLASS!!!

Great teacher. The best part about taking him is that he works in the math lab when he is not teaching a class. When u have a question, you have ur teacher there to answer it instead of someone else with a different way of solving the problem.

Mr. Carson is a genuinely nice person. However, don't test him he will embarass you! One student this semester found out, lol. I don't believe he is all that clear at explaining but he WILL work with you to get you where you need to be. You have to study and put in the work or you will fail. Don't show up late either!!!

Mr. carson is off the chain!!! If your not good in math and haven't touch an algebric problem in over 20 years, then I suggest you take this class. He works in the tutoring lab, so it's like a double wam!! His rule is for you to be on time to class, becasue he does start on time. Please, Please do the online work. If not, then you will fail.

Mr. Carson rocks!He is soooo nice, really cares about his students,and will bend over backwards to help you if you are trying.He works out of the math lab,so while you're there you can always ask him for help.He told us not to buy the book, but you have to buy MathXL which costs $50.Lots of homework, but it really helps so it's worth it.Take him!

He is by far one of the nicest and coolest teachers you will come across. He explains everything and is very lenient on homework. You don't need a textbook just MathXL. I would highly recommend him.

After returning to school as an older adult my biggest fear was passing Algebra. Mr. Carson was so patient with his class and goes above and beyond what is expected of a professor. His "tactics" for helping you understand is a God-send. I love his teaching methods and sense of humor. By far the BEST Math teacher I have ever had!!

I took Intermed.Algebra. He is sooo thorough and simple and will find ways to help you understand. Hand outs for practice and the same type of problems on the test. If you pay attention and ask questions, you'll pass easily!! You couldn't ask for a better instructor. :)

For those who are not so advanced in math Prof Carson will get you on track!!! If you are able to pay attention and apply what he teaches you'll be fine! You have to be able to adapt to his learning style, at this point Prof Carson's way is the BEST!!

Amazing professor! Math was always one of my weaknesses in school, until I began taking the course with him. He helped me in so many ways. We never used the textbook, only once. But you do need it for the Aleks program. His class is very easy and he is hilarious! I never met an outstanding professor like him!! I would recommend him to anyone.

As long as you come to class on time then you will have no problems with passing his class.

Mr. Carson is by far the best professor I've had the pleasure of working with. He takes his time to make sure you understand. He has a good sense of humor which helps make it interesting. A former classmate recommended him. I had to take a night class in order to take his class & it was definitely worth it! I recommend him over any of my prof!

Mr Carson is an amazing teacher. I hate math, but he made it so easy to understand; he keeps it simple. He made me appreciate Math with his awesome teaching style. Expect homework (big part of your grade) and group assignments. I think we were all pretty bummed out that he does not teach Lit Arts; I would def recommend him.

Mr Carson is one of those once in a million teachers. Very thorough, and will not move on from a subject until he is certain everyone understands it. Very approachable. I've never been a good math student but for the first time in my life I feel like I've actually learned something without wanted to pull my hair out. Mr Carson is the best.

Professor Carson is patient, caring, understanding and kind. He truly wants you to understand how and why you are doing what you are doing. His hearts interest is that you learn. Great fun too! We laughed a lot in class. Respect him and hell respect you. Love this class! Would highly recommend!
