super easy as long as read, but the books are intresing and a short read. he takes the class to a level I never knew it would go you watch pretty recent movies and he'll tie them in... he is crazy, laidback and fun. you never know where the conversation is going to go.

This professor is pretty sweet. Super easy grader. Relatively no homework. Easy to understand. Funny. Really challenges you on your thinking. But if you have to take womens studies take it with this guy!!! No final. Only 5 or so Reading Quizzes. And two one page essay's. Super fun!!!

Easily the best professor at CSUF. I took him a year and a half ago and I still think about his class and how awesome it was. I don't even remember if attendance was mandatory, but it was such a cool class I never wanted to miss. Definitely called on me to talk every class and said I never got called on every single time though.

Read comic books, watched in class movies, and no scantron test. Attend class everyday and concentrate on writing analytical journals when assigned.

As a freshman, you won't feel lost and is truly so helpful. The reading is mostly graphic novels (comic books) and there are no tests (other than 10 question reading quizzes that are a breeze). He'll help you open your mind and teach you to write like an adult. He is funny and is so helpful at office hours (he has them everyday which is rare).

There should be a requirement that makes every student on campus to take his class before graduating. His class challenges everyone's perspective regarding relationship, friendship, and interactions with others. Most of the reading assignments are comic books. No tests. Professor Christian is approachable to all different types of students, from the loudest to the shyest. Unlike most teachers he understands that there are diff. types of participation. His lectures are incredible. I have never met someone who wants to skip his class. The books are not tough to read. He is clear on guidelines and is helpful.

As a finance major and a heterosexual male, I didn't think this class would suit me well, but he became the best professor I've ever had so far. He is hilarious and you will not want to miss his lectures. If you have the chance to take any of PC's classes, you must. He is seriously amazing. Not a difficult class because he makes it so interesting.

AMAZING PROFESSOR!!! He comes off a bit tough first day of class, but don't be alarmed! He is such a great professor who will open your eyes to so many topics you would of never thought about. Go to his office hours! Gives great feedback. Would take again. One of those professors that you will remember.

Professor Christian is amazing. His class is really easy if you read and pay attention. He assigns graphic novels to read and they are really simple. His lectures were really interesting and he makes you want to come to class. He definitely made me see the world differently after taking his class. I definitely recommend everyone to take him.

You can't find a more motivating, encouraging instructor. He genuinely wants you to succeed and will really explain things so you understand. PROFESSOR CHRISTIAN IS THE BEST PROFESSOR AT CSUF. Even if you dont need his class, take his class. He jokingly calls his class Life 101 but it really is. He's taught me more about life than I'd ever learn anywhere else. He's clear about his expectations, lenient, and you'll be genuinely upset if you have to miss class. Easy A and worth your time.

Such an amazing class, I would take this class over and over again if I could. He makes every class interesting and is so passionate about his lectures it makes you even more interested. I always look forward to going to class and always leave feeling inspired.

Easiest class I had for my first year! Take him for C.2 INTRODUCTION TO HUMANITIES!!! Professor Christian makes class really enjoyable and the lectures are very relate-able. When he tells you to come to office hours, just do it. He is very chill and nice and wants to help. Readings are just graphic novels that take less than 30 minutes. :)

WGST100 was my favorite class and PC was my favorite professor. I was intimidated at first but slowly warmed up to him. Books are short graphic novels that are very interesting and reading quizzes are 5-10 questions. I learned so much from him and would take another course taught by him. You won't regret it.

I personally enjoy when professors are passionate about their job, Christian is DEFINITELY one of those. I reflected a lot in his class. I would highly recommend taking WGST with him.

He teaches life lessons and even though class requires lots of reading I always looked forward to lecture after reading. He makes you think about things that you probably never have before.

David made my first semester at college memorable. He is such a great professor and is extremely passionate about gender studies. The texts that he require for the class are super interesting. At first he seemed unapproachable but he eventually opens up to everyone eventually. His class was easy if you show up and read! TAKE HIS CLASS & BE INSPIRED

He cares for each one of his students like his own children, which is rare in a college setting. Also his lectures are very engaging and fun every class.

Has amazing stories and life lessons! Was very intimidating at first, but he actually really cares about his students! Always encourages to visit him during office hours for help! Required multiple books, but they were super interesting and fun to read! As long as you try in the class, it is an easy A! You won't regret taking his class!!

Pro: Very understanding professor! He allowed students who weren't ready for the reading quiz to take it on another day. He really opens up your mind about life! Best teacher at CSUF!! :) Con: Requires a lot of books and only spends 1 to 2 class days on them. So, I suggest share with a friend to save money!!

The course was graded on reading quizzes (super easy), lecture/reading notes, participation, 2 journals, and a final paper! I would say the hardest assignments were the journals because it requires a lot of deep thinking, but visit him if you need help!! And the final paper can only help your grade, so don't stress about it! Best GE class I took!

The best professor I've had by far, and one of the easiest classes. The books read were graphic novels and the quizzes were straightforward if you read. The journals were easy, especially if you see if during office hours. He is very understanding and if you need anything talk to him.

PC is great. His class is so interesting. You will have to get 5 books (but don't worry they're all inexpensive comic books and easy reads). You take notes, easy reading quizzes, and 3 papers in that class. It's actually hard but he makes it seem so easy and i never felt like the work was hard at all.

Professor Christian made my first semester of college so great. He really motivates you and cares for you. His lectures are seriously life changing. He's hilarious too! If I could take this class again, I most definitely would! I know you're reading this Prof. Christian, love ya!

PC was one of my great professors he is a MUST have professor. He is really passionate about the subject even more so because he loves his job. He mentions it in the beginning but there is no way you can not get anything lower than an A or a B. You have to get a few books like 3-4 but they are really inexpensive and easy reads.

Best class I have taken. His lectures made my day and really made me think. You have to read a few graphic novels outside of class, which are all interesting and short. There are two very short papers and a few other small assignments. Take his class you'll thank yourself for it.

By far my favorite class and professor I have had at Fullerton! P.C. is passionate about the subject and it shows when he lectures. His lectures are always interesting and will always leave you thinking after class. A must have professor!

Professor Christian has to be the best professor the world has ever had. The way he teaches is so upbeat and motivational that you'll be sad every time the class ends. I went to his office hours and he's so personable and deeply understanding. He will accept late work anytime during the semester if you are a good student and have a good reason.

This class is so enjoyable. You debate about a lot of controversial topics and makes you question everything. He makes every single lecture interesting. If you fall asleep in his class then you are missing out. He is also very accessible outside of class. All you have to do is visit his office hours and he's happy to help.

This class was amazing. Super hard in the level of intricacy in the things we discussed, but there barely is any work which is good. A lot of reading which is difficult yet easy to get used to, especially since its all super interesting.

Best way to start my first semester! Super fun and easy class if you do all the reading and really try your hardest. If you do not try, trust me it will NOT be easy at all. It may seem overwhelming but you'll find yourself finishing an entire book in seconds. I have never wanted to read so much in my life! You're lucky to be in this class.

Words can not express how good David Christian is at teaching. He will take a useless subject like gender studies and turn it into something you will deeply and thoughtfully care about. His textbooks are comics and his essays are a page long. Professor Christian is the GOAT. He honestly ruins every other teacher at CSUF for me.

At first glance, Professor Christian was intimidating but he does so because he cares. The workload is heavy, but he makes up for it by giving you a chance to make it up on a different day. Go to office hours for extra points, and for some help. Basically a Life 101 class by teaching you how to navigate in life and books are graphic novels.

Such a great professor. 2 journals 1 final paper, and 5-7 point reading quizzes. PC makes his lectures so interesting and at the end of the class, you feel ready for anything. He is such a fair grader and if you did not do so well GO TO HIS OFFICE HOURS he helps you get some points back. All in all, I definitely recommend him.

I recommend this course! There are no tests - only discussion posts, critical analysis, short quizzes, and readings. There is no textbook, but there are a few comic/animated books you have to get (some found online). They are easy reads!! Professor is extremely organized and passionate - considering he uses Titanium. No zoom meetings.

Professor Christian is an amazing professor. I took this course online Fall Semester 2020, no Zoom meetings. He responds quick to emails and is very understanding if anything is going on at your home. The class was graded purely based on easy/short reading quizzes, discussions, and critical analysis. No exams and no final, 10/10 highly recommended.

Professor Christian is a very nice and easy-going professor. I had his class for Fall 2020 online and there would be modules uploaded about every 2 weeks. There would be a lecture through a podcast and quizzes based on the lecture or assigned reading. There were as well discussion posts and about 3 small papers but all very easy.

He updates you on what to expect this week. Gives u thanksgiving week off. His only test are quizzes of the comic book and documentary. Quizzes and test are via canvas. Hes the best!

Professor Christian is not like your average professor. He is funny and speaks the truth. Attendance is worth 5 points at the end of the semester, but you can pass without attending class. There is no final or midterm. There is a 2-page paper due at the end of the semester. Take him now!
