Take my advise and don't take this guy. You will realize that u have done a biggest mistake in ur college life. He is not knowledgeable person. If you test him with his own printed exam i bet you he will fail. Students were more knowledgeable than him.

Anyone interested in anything other than independent study should look elsewhere. Corey reads directly from his inadequate notes, fails to cover entire topics necessary for lab, & refuses to acknowledge student questions.

Corey is among the worst teachers I've had. You must follow the notes along with him on the overhead, write additional notes, and listen to him lecture all at the same time. Leaves no time for questions. He does not care about the students, nor their questions. Very sarcastic. He has taken an interesting class an ruined it. Thanks for nothing!

David Corey has to be the laziest and most unhelpful professor I have ever had the misfortune to come across. I didn't find the class difficult but was shocked that Corey didn't care at all whether his students got the material or pass the class. I can honestly say, I completely taught myself in his class. Do yourself a favor and don't take him.

Already have A in class, so Im completely objective. Horrible teacher. Very lazy, doesnt care for student. Some say his tests are hard, but those people are stupid. Internet course - Terrible instructor. DO NOT TAKE HIM! He needs to be terminated from MTC. Doesn't care about the student. Wants to see you fail. Everything out of the notes. I did enough work to count for 8 credits. Took a lot of time. This was not convenient! Had only three days to take exams at testing center. AGAIN WARNING STAY AWAY

Yuck! He's lazy and very sarcastic! His tests are hard and his notes are outdated! The statistics in his notes do not come close to what the book says. For lab, he sends you all around Columbia on field trips and he won't even grade your work to let you know if you're right or wrong but he'll test you it! You've been warned: STAY AWAY FROM HIM!

I took the online Ecology class. I surprisingly passed, but it was not easy! Everyone in the class complained. We had to write at least two papers for every unit, they were short, but in addition to the other work it was a bit hard to keep up. I've taken A&P with him-it was miserable.

By far the worst professor I've ever had. Very unhelpful and his notes contain many typographical as well as informational errors. He did not even realize he was using the wrong edition of the text until a student brought it to his attention, weeks into the semester. If you have the choice, DO NOT take his class.

WORST PROFESSOR EVER!

Horrible for hybrid class. Inaccessible, questions on test are tiny details out of his "know everything in these 6 chapters for test 2" type of study guide. He uses tricky questioning to trip up students on tests and there are so many misspellings and typos on the website, study guides, and tests. I've held a 3.8 gpa at a 4 yr college for 3 years!

This is the worst teacher I have ever had! I took his hybrid course and am so thankful we had someone different for lab. His tests were tricky, had several misspelled words, and if you missed one part of the matching, he would mark all of them wrong. I'm an A student and struggled to receive a B.

HORRIBLE TEACHER! He does not teach from the book and gives inaccurate study guides. He expects you to memorize every chromosome, atom and number for the exams. I found him very inflexible for an online teacher. Half my class dropped the course. Unless you already have a healthy understanding of Biology or a photographic memory AVOID THIS TEACHER!

I'm still in this class. I normally take online courses due to my work schedule and family. But thus far this class has been the WORST! Although the quizzes are straight and to the point with the course outline and textbooks, when its time to take exams its all over the place. Quizzes A/B --- Exams F ...?!?!?

David Corey is a horrible teacher. He comes across as uninterested in teaching his students, and as if he is not interested in his students being successful. If you have a question or need help it will take him a week to respond. I did not enjoy this class at all!

Horrible instructor. The notes he provided throughout the semester aligned with the study guides which he also provided. The notes also appeared to be in depth enough for his exams. However, there is a significant amount of information with every exam that is not mentioned in his notes or study guide. Sarcastic and rude.

This professor shows no interest about his students learning or obtaining the information! All we do is write notes and leave! The worst grades I have ever made has been in this class! If you ask him a question, he will respond in a sarcastic manner! As we are approaching the end of the semester, he's gotten even worse!:/

Absolutely awful. Read straight from the slides, does not care if you get it. Exams do not match the material well at all; or maybe it was that he talked to much about his personal life during lectures and we got nothing covered.

I studied alot, alot and got high 80's on the tests. his test questions are not clear. his lecture notes are not clear.

Unless you are a mind reader, good luck taking his class. He doesn't lecture. He reads. Exams are an absolute joke. Tech doesn't care whether or not you pass. They get their $ in the end and thats all that matters. He needs to be excused of his duties teaching.

He read directly from the notes provided on D2L and was easily distracted during lecture time. He often spent more time discussing his health history and politics than he did covering things for the course. His tests are worded in a manner that causes you to fail, even if you have put forth the effort to succeed. I would not take his class again.

He is not approachable and is arrogant. The tests are ridiculous. If you have a photographic memory to memorize the entire book as well as his notes, you will do well. If you are going to take his class, take classes to prepare for this one as you will be on your own or with a tutor. It takes a long time for grades to be posted.

If you happen to be honored with the misfortune of getting this professor, please get out as soon as you can! Worst professor I have ever had. Very rude and lectures consist of him reading word for word off of a word document. His tests set you up to fail. The class average for the final was a 56. I'm usually an A student and got a C in the class.

Worst experience I've had since being enrolled at MTC. He is arrogant and condescending and not easily approachable at all. I was really interested in this class and it could have been a wonderful experience with the right professor.

Drop this class if you can!! Bio101 has to be the worst class to take online. He assigns long pages of notes with no explanations, He is not very approachable in office hours or via email. You are basically teaching yourself!!! Majority of our class is failing and he doesn't even want our lab teacher to help. He's not a good professor. AVOID!!!

Worst professor I have ever had. Would not change due dates after the flood when people lost their homes and were unable to turn in their assignments. He's arrogant, and sets you up to fail. Study guides are not helpful and the material covered on them are not on the test. Get out if you are registered in his class.

My advice: Stop what you're doing right now and look for another professor or another campus. He's a nightmare. When you need help, he doesn't care. He's not a very nice person and very bitter. His notes at 9 years old and he doesn't change them with the editions. His notes don't make sense and you'll spend at least an hour decoding them. RUN!!

He should not have a class. I have his online lecture and it is what chapter to read. You only know that because it is the title of the "notes" (a page of random terms that gives no direction for studying). His weekly quiz is open for 12 hours during the same time as the 3 hour Lab on campus, so good luck with that. Just don't take him. BAD NEWS

Beware of this professor! I would drop the class now. His tests have nothing to do with what you are told to study and there is nothing to the online portion of this class. You aren't even given a chapter you only know because of the names on the notes. There are no class discussions, no assignments, communication is lacking.

There is zero direction on what to study for. Zero feedback. Past quizzes and tests are unavailable for review, so you can't see what you got wrong. He loves to ask questions about obscure bits of info rather than than major concepts. 1/2 of the third test was on a subject we'd been told was on the test only 3 days prior. DO NOT TAKE.

Atrocious online teacher. Choose ANY other. No feedback, notes are sparse (and full of errors), and tests are not reflective of material. When he does reply, he is sarcastic and condescending, like the students are bothering him (the questions was about an error in the notes). AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

First day of class and was so rude it was terrible. He didn't care what he said and talked about everything except A&P. I feel like I wasted two hours of my life today just sitting there listening to him talk about politics and the school system. He even said if you didn't like that he gets off topic to find a new teacher.

Wow I should have ran before we got to the middle of the semester. Honestly I was feeling pretty confident in the beginning up until this guy gives us 6 PAGES of notes, each VERY detailed and confusing with no real explanation. I am typing this because I am fed up with studying for hours and still not fully understanding the LECTURE, STRUGGLING!

He was the worst teacher I ever had. The lab would teach us one thing and he would completely contradict it and have the questions on the test that would be very confusing. He does not use the book and all his test come straight from his 13 pages of notes word for word. He would focuses on irrelevant details and can get off topic very easily.

I had to take him twice and I was hoping the second time around we could figure out something that works, but no. His lack of interest in his students is ridiculous and extremely discouraging.

Didn't provide a syllabus. Quizzes with webcam every week - Can only be taken on Monday from 11 am to 11 pm . Dates and numbers are a great part of his testing, You have to know when world population reach x Billions. I don't thin he likes teaching or Ecology, but if you do, don't be discouraged, I work full time and was able to pass. U can too.

No extra credit. 60+ slides of notes for a 15 question quiz. Did not answer a single one of my emails (NOT A SINGLE ONE). I literally could not tell you a single thing about this man besides the fact that he needs to retire immediately. I am still not convinced he knows a single thing about Ecology. I taught myself this entire course.

my quizlets were about 120+ terms each because i had NO idea what was going to be tested. i hope you like memorizing every sentence in a huge powerpoint because that is the class. try to get a C or a B if you can but it'll be a pain in the BLEEP. i think the guy working down the road at the shell station would be a better teacher than corey lol
