Gives you the powerpoints from which the tests come from. Easy to follow and doesn't drag on. Multiple choice tests, need I say more. Very friendly and easy to approach.

Well prepared professor who knows his stuff. Tests are not tricky. Lectures are interesting & tests come directly from lectures. You do not have to buy text book if you print out PP presentations from web site. Really nice guy!

DrC is the best professor I've had at GPC! He is so helpful, considerate & respectful. He tests from his PP & material on CT. It's still a tough class but you will be successful if you put the effort into studying & ask him any ?s you don't understand. Dr. Cox made this class very interesting and easy! He is very clear and he know his stuff. You can print out his power point slides. The book is not necessary, but if you find your self as much into it as I did you should buy it. Dr. Cox is # 1 !!!

If teaching style has anything to do with hottness Dr.C is hot to trot. Micro is not easy but he gives all the necessary tools to make an A. Its up to you to use them!!

It's a hard class, but there is NO better teacher for it. Dr Cox is one of the BEST teachers I've ever had. He gives you a CD on the 1st day of class that contains all the material you will need to get an A, including test practice, so STUDY IT! Also read the summaries and answer the questions from the chapters in the book to prepare for the tests.

Difficult class, however with his CD and the book to fill in the gaps,plus your hard work...automatic A. His tests would be very hard except he gives lots of bonus questions. He also writes terrific letters of recommendation. What are you waiting for? Great guy!!

One of the best professors I've ever had. Class is hard but he gives you everything you need to pass class & lab with a good grade. I actually received an 11.5 on my lab notebook and was blown away. Very fair and knows his stuff. You have to earn the grade and you cannot fail unless you just refuse to study.

I had Dr.Cox for Microbiology last Spring...he is the best teacher I have had yet! He really makes the material clear enough so you can enjoy the class and actually like what you are learning. Dr. Cox is one of the most passionate teachers I've ever had. I chose to take both his lecture and Lab classes. He gives you EVERYTHING that you need to succeed. If you fail, you didn't try. if you go by his online notes you don't need the book. All tests has lots of bonus ?'s, and he even sometimes curve. Attendance is mandatory until the midterm. You can't fail unless you just don't care.

Dr. Cox is an extremely talented and knowledgable professor. His experience at the CDC makes him the perfect micro teacher, and he really cares about your education. I took this class in the Fall of 2009 unfortunately my father passed away right before midterms and I missed a lot of time. Dr. Cox was understanding and allowed me to make up work.
