Has 5 tests overall which makes up for your entire grade. Really great class he makes it easy to learn the topic. Extra credit at the end of year if asked. Funny as ever

He incorporates movies in with his lectures.. It's unique. He tries to make things a little more interesting. And I definitely appreciate that.

very funny just take notes he gives you what is going to be on the test in class just write it all down and he will even answer the questions gives the essay question on the test as well wish he taught more classes

Best class I have taken at Midlands Tech. He keeps the class interesting, fun, and everything you need to know you can get from the lecture. He gives you five tests (easy if you pay attention in class), and he averages them together to get your grade. Made an A.

This is the only class that I have ever looked forward at 8 in the morning on MWF. Mr. Cox is definitely top 3 on my list of funniest and favorite professors. When I last took him a couple semesters ago, he was saying he might retire soon. Teachers like him should teach forever!

Loved this class...even if I missed my other classes I made it to his. He is so funny and always has a story for everything. Make sure you keep up with the news and take notes from the board. I took his class a few semesters ago and the ring tone on his phone was Salt and Pepper 'Push It'. You will not regret a min of his class.

Awesomest teacher EVER! knows what he's talking about, never boring, always interesting... I dont even text in his class because he's so interesting! no hw, no papers! I never purchased the book and aced every test. Everything on the test comes from lectures. He even tells you what the essay question will be! Rarely takes attendance. He is FRIGGIN hilarious! Especially when he cusses in Vietnamese lol! I looove him! If a person like me can ace this class, ANYONE can!

Great teacher! One of the best I have ever had. I never used to pay attention in class and would always text, but I never am texting in that class. and I actually learned things in his class. One of the most intriguing individuals I've ever met. Military friendly! Easy class. Take good notes. Don't even worry about the text book, you don't need it. Show up to every lecture! He's very enjoyable and I highly recommend! He jokes a lot, however his voice is raspy so sit close to the front.

Dr. Cox was a very great proffessor,he made learning the material so easy. His Test was straight from his lectures. If you are gonna take a psychology class, I highly recommend taking Dr.Cox!!!!!! HE ROCKS :-)

Best teacher I ever had! I actually looked forward to going to his class even though it was a 6 o'clock. Lectures are easy to understand and he is funny. Test are based off of everything you learned in lecture. Don't get the book though. Did not crack it open once this semester.

This was one of the best classes i have ever taken. Mr. Cox was and very inspirational and funny during his lectures making it a very entertaining class. His grading was fair and laid out for you simply so you know what you need to do. He made me love psychology a class i was just taking for the credit is now a possible minor for me.

Mr. Cox is amazing! He is hilarious and a really nice man. He literally writes on the board what will be covered in the test, so make sure you take notes. Only grades were the tests and 4 one-page essays that were relatively simple. I never cracked open the textbook so don't waste your money. Interesting lectures. Recommend highly for Psych!

Great teacher ... funny ... gets his point across... if you put in effort into the class you will get an A.... all his class notes are what he tests on.. so attendance is crucial if you want an A

Spring 2019 will be his last semester teaching, so I highly recommend that you take this class now before he goes! He writes down everything that will be on the exams and tells you exactly what you need for the papers. The papers are pretty easy, he only requires a minimum of one page. He is really funny and nice, plus, he tells the best stories!

Took him as a dual enrollment student at White Knoll. I absolutely loved taking his class and everything he taught was very interesting. He had a traditional style of teaching, as in no technology used, and it was amazing. Study the notes, and youll get an A. Would recommend to anyone, this class was amazing.

Best professor I have ever had! Hilarious, made an 8AM class so worth it. Hate he is retiring but so glad I was able to be in his class. Made lectures intresting by telling stories and ALWAYS cracking jokes and picking on us. 3 one page papers super easy they count as test grades. One group project also easy. TAKE NOTES and you'll pass every test!

Mr. Cox was a very wise and funny teacher who taught his class in a simple way. This way was easy to understand as all we did in class was take notes, do a few practice worksheets, and a project. His funny jokes and calm attitude make the class something to look forward to throughout the day.

Took all my notes and listened to his lectures and earned an A in the course. Goes of sometimes, but only to give anecdotes on his experience as a clinical psychologist which only makes the lectures more exciting. It's sad to know that he will retire after Summer 2019. Would of like to take him later on in PSY 203. Great Professor!

Dr. Cox is easily one of my favorite professors ever. Super funny, made lectures interesting, taught from memory instead of a book, gave you what you need to know. I showed up, listened, took notes, never studied, and I still never made below a 90 on a test. Im always so ready to be done with a class, but I was sad to leave his!

One of my first courses and one of my best. Super easy professor and honestly interesting lectures. If you even think you'd like psychology you'd like him. Unfortunately I believe he has retired but was a great professor when I had him.

In terms of difficulty to me, he was more of a 2.5. Out of all the teachers I had he's one of the best that I've gotten. The tests were relatively easy if you went to his lectures and he kept his lectures interesting and fun. Papers were also easy to do as the criteria wasnt hard to meet and the topics were easy to grasp. Congrats if he's your prof

He's a well experienced professor who seeks to ensure that, everybody passes. He has a great sense of humor and makes you remember concepts easily. He is just awesome.

Excellent professor and very funny. He is clear in his lectures and always let us out around 30 minutes early. Very test heavy but that was done to help so that your grade isn't based on just two tests and instead has roughly seven tests.

This guy will make you look forward to class each time. The way he presents the material keeps it locked in your memory, and you should not have to study as much as for other classes. He cares, depsite regularly claiming not to, and is extremely intuitive about knowing what his students are up to and what they need--makes you feel included.

He keeps you engaged in the class materials and world events. It was an amazing class and impactful.

The only professor I had at Midlands Tech that I still mention on occasion. He has such a way of teaching. I had him my freshman year in 2012. He was amazing and inspired a love of Psych! Plus he's super funny. Great guy. Would take anything he teaches!
