Dr. Croteau is pretty cool. Warning- you will NOT get out early. I have him for a 3 hour class. It is obvious that he really enjoys what he teaches. Do the reading. Very good teacher, knows what he's talking about. He's got a fun sense of humor, which makes the 3 hours bearable. Take him. Good class.

He's a good teacher, and you can quickly tell he's a genuine person. Dr. Croteau is one of the best teachers I've had at liberty.

He is possibly the best professor I have ever had for Bible 323, granted he is the only one. He is the only professor I know who is able to take my sarcasm and dish back it out. If you want to know about the book of John then this is the class for you. Just watch out for your Hermeneutics, you might find out just how wrong you are.

Well, besides having a quiz everyday the hardest exams know to man where you have to memorize outlines of the books of the NT that are like 5 pages long I guess he is okay. He is a nice man, but often a boring professor. Very nice person though and actually very nteresting when you have a one on one conversation!

Well, he's a great guy, but he's really hard. He's a new teacher, so he doesn't know how hard to make things yet. I don't agree with everything he teaches. I have a little bit more fundamental Christian views, but I still accept other viewpoints, whereas he sometimes states opinion as fact, and sometimes just says wack things...

Dr. C is an awesome professor! Last class I left having learned so much that I could barely contain all the information! His class is funny and interesting. He knows his bible.

hes a very good teacher who obviosly spends a great deal of time preparing for class. he knows the new testament inside and out and is very succint in speaking. hes also very approachable and takes great care in explaining things so the entire class understands. overall hes a great professor, and an interesting guy. highly recommend.

Dr. Croteau really did a great job on his first semester teaching! =] It's really not a hard class as long as you DO YOUR WORK. As long as you do that, you should be fine.

He really knows his stuff and really has the gift of teaching. I really enjoyed his class. As long as you do the work and study for the tests, you'll get an a or b. He hints often about what will be on the test, so pay attention to that too.

Dr. Croteau knows his stuff. You learn alot and he's always willing to deviate from the lesson plan if it means that you'll get all of your questions answered. On top of that, he's a really nice guy and his family likes to visit and give you cookies! Definitely my favorite class during my first semester.

Dr Croteau is my favorite professor at Liberty. He knows what he's talking about and has the desire and ability to share with us what the New Testament is all about. He is passionate about what he does and his class is never boring. He makes his lectures tons of fun and he's HILARIOUS! Wish he taught classes in my major.

I would say he's really not that bad. His tests are NOT that hard (or at least my class he gave us the study guide and the test was word for word off the study guide). Flying monkeys aside, he isn't super strict, and he seems to be real, a lot. I like his willingness to just open up and share his opinion.

He is a very insitefull teacher and you will learn that "discription does not equal prescription."

Dr. C is an amazing teacher and has a heap of biblical knowledge. He goes into depth about what he believes and why he believes it. He is willing to talk with students whether in his class or not about any issue they have. Also, he comes to campus events with his family and likes to hang out. Great prof and great teacher!

Dr. Croteau is the best and any Honors people out there must take his class. He's got a ton of knowledge about the subject and can really be trusted on various issues. Funny personality, adorable family. One of my best classes here at LU.

Dr.Croteau has a WEALTH of biblical knowledge and if your interested, he'll share. He does not treat this class as an entry level class, you will talk about the controversial topics of the New Testament and you have to be prepared for his quizzes and tests, don't expect to skate buy. If you're a motivated learner, it's a great class to take.

Very knowledgable man! He is also quite good at giving all points of view and dissecting them. He can be quite funny as well. He expects his students to keep on top of the material, but is most assuredly not unfair. If I had the opportunity, I would not hesitate to take him again!

Get this! Dr. Crotea brought in some ancient manuscripts he claims are the dead sea scrolls. He said that he dug them up in his basement. Hermeneutics is basically him trying to write a new Bible. Anyone going into the fields of animal husbandry should really check this course out.

For those of you who are complaining that Croteau is too tough a teacher I would advise returning home to live with your parents and attending community college. This is not high school and it is sad that when you are expected to push yourself by a prof you complain. All of his classes are challenging but you will learn so much, I have taken 4!

I like this class and the professor, I think hes really funny and has a lot of interesting and intelligent things to say.

Croteau is a great professor who is passionate about teaching. His classes are amazing and you will learn a lot if you apply yourself. The best subject with him is probably John, but they are all great and the only problem with his classes are that the students think that they are God's gift to the earth and have to give imput every two minutes

This is a man with the gift of teaching. If only the students in his class would let him speak. I love listening to his lectures, and he is so full of knowledege, but he needs to tell his students to stop lecturing to him and let him speak. I take the class for his knowledge, not others. Dr.Croteau is my favorite professor here at Liberty. He is a wealth of information, and his goal is for us to learn the material. This is very rare in professor's now-a-days! He is a wonderful teacher!

Sweet. He has so much insight and wisdom which he loves to share with his students. He is passionate about teaching his students the Bible and even translates parts into Greek so you can understand it's original meaning. FUNNY! He has beautiful children!

Dr. Croteau is a phenomenal professor whose goal is to help student understand and LOVE the Word of God. He invites questions and never takes the easy way out when it comes to answering them. He is careful to take everything he teaches back to scripture. His passion for learning and teaching makes me passionate about learning from him.

Great Professor, very clear and willing to answer and explain any question. Prepares students for exams with awesome reviews. Great person all around, especially for talking on a personal level. Take him or Dr. Fowler for Acts.

Amazing Professor, this is his best class. Full of information regarding textual issues concerning John. He presents a plurality of options for each text, but explains the book well. Exams are easy if you study, his paper grading is more focused on whether you put effort into it than grammatical organization or format.

Interesting, Funny and Challenging

Great professor, very knowledgeable of the subject. He posts all power points on blackboard and gives exam study guides. Come to class, do your reading, and study the power points and study guides and you will get an A

Yeah, Crow-toe is the coolest guy ever... he know's the Greek language like the back of his hands...(oh, what's that doing there???) j/k he's cool, but a Vocab Nazi; beware the vocab

Croteau is an amazing teacher, The biggest thing you have to remember is that he loves vocab and he will give you cumulative test every couple days, but besides that it is a great class

Dr. Croteau is an awesome teacher! He is very intelligent and knows the Bible. I loved his class and it really gave me insight into what I read from the Bible on my own. The only downside is you have to read three books and write papers on them all, and his tests are not scantron. They were hard, but if you studied, then you would be fine.

He has forgotten more about the Bible than I will ever know. He not only knows alot but eplains it in an easy and fun way. He is absolutely histerical!

Bible 110: The course was amazing, Croteau's class was one of the most enjoyable classes I have ever taken, and I learned so much. It was awesome hearing him debate with people, there was never a worthy challenge. The tests were extremely straightforward, the study guides prepared you 100% He was funny, extremely knowledgable, def. recommend him!!

Dr. Croteau is a great teacher! He makes class enjoyable even when the material is not. He is not to hard but be prepared to do all of your reading and come ready to pay attention, otherwise you will be hit by the flying monkey!

This class has been the most influential on my life over every other class at LU, and I am a Business Major! Everyone NEEDS to take this, it should be made mandatory for everyone to take.

Dr. Croteau not only does a great job of teaching the Word, but makes it applicable for the student's spiritual life. His assignments appear to be quite the load but prove to be very beneficial. I can't wait to take his HERMENEUTICS class.

Just buy him some Coffee fool and maybe he will give you an A. He likes it when you send emails to him while he is in the middle of teaching and if he throws the screaming monkey at you...stand up and rip its head off. (I just said all that to see if I could get on one of his power points before class).

Very intelligent

Everyone seems to love him for class, but I'm an online student and he does very little as far as power points or something to study. 8 week courses are hard because we'll do 200 pages a week or so with no clue of how to study for the test. It's basically here's the reading....here's the test. I'm sure he's way different in a classroom setting.

Doc is fantastic. He brings a balanced point of view to things and teaches one to think critically about the issues at hand. He isn't the easiest prof, but that's a good thing. His classes are worth your time, for they better you as a student and as a believer.

I have taken every course i could possibly take that Dr. Croteau teaches... Why? Because he is an amazing teacher and appreciates students that think for themselves.

Its clear that Croteau sincerely cares for his students. His reverence for the Scripture is admirable and his has a unique ability to communicate not only biblical truths, but also the methods for discovering these truths. It's been nothing short of a privilege to sit under his teaching.

Liberty's best prof! I took every single class he taught. His teaching was part of what led me to change my major to Biblical Studies. All of his classes are great, but the best were honors New Testament, John, and Hermeneutics. He is a funny, compassionate man, who deserves more praise than he gets. Take him!

This class was only my second "upper level" Bible class at Liberty. I was nervous to take his class after reading some of these reviews (most likely by slacker students) but I can honestly say I looked forward to his class almost every day. Croteau (Crow-Toe) knows his stuff and was cool to talk too.I look forward to taking his class again!

I learned alot. He has an awesome family. I will definitely take another class with him.
