Very good teacher, took the class online, never studied and pulled a C. Definately take it from him.

Learned a lot but this guy is awesome and made it fun as well

Biology and Zoology, both great classes with him teaching, he makes it interesting and fun. His enthusiasm is contagious and is one of the greatest teachers I have ever had. I learned a lot from him and only wish he taught more classes!!

Excellent, awesome, stupendous, outrageously cool, intelligent, passionate instructor. If you're taking Bio or Zoology, take this fella. The man can teach. His class is on the difficult side, but you will know the material when your done.

This teacher is the one to take for Biology 100. I went to his office so many times and he ewxplained things just the way I needed. Very passionate on this subject and easy to understand and great sense of humor!!!

He makes Bio fun, you will want to go to his class. If you have to take bio TAKE HIM for your lab as well. GREAT teacher

This guy makes class sooo much more fun than other professors. Especially if you don't care for science all that much. If you don't get this professor, you will be sorry, he is the best!! Attendance is not mandatory but you pretty much have to come to all of the classes to get a decent grade.

David is AMAZING! He will teach it till you know it, whether it's in class, his office or through emails.

This was a "majors" class and David made it amazing to learn. Zoology was a difficult course and I admit much of my dedication and success comes from David's teaching and love for his students. TAKE CLASSES WITH HIM!

Have David for bio and lab, very funny and entertaining. really explains things. very helpful, and has a ton of advice. the content itself is difficult for me to grasp, and tests are hard since the wording is different on the tests than from the lecture notes. recommend taking online,since it is only lecture, but online you can listen to many times

David is an awesome teacher he definitely loves what he does. Very entertaining, fun to learn from and helpful when you need it. Beware though, the exams are tough if you don't study. But if you do, you'll do fine.

Great guy and a great teacher. I have never ben good in Biology and science type classes, but he actually got my attention and made them a lot more interesting. He is very funny and entertaining. But besides that he really cares about his students and is real intelligent.

David is awesome, he takes the time to help you when you need it. Try to get him for your labs as well, he makes it really fun. I would say he is an easy teacher, but the subject matter itself is difficult.

I hated anything to do with science before I took his class. I must say that the content is not easy and he makes you work for your grade. However, if you work hard, are willing to see him during office hours, it is very easy to pass this class. He is a blast in the classroom as well. He enjoys what he does for sure!

Words can not express him! He makes class fun to be in. If he offered further classes for my degree I would have fought to be in them :) You can tell he loves why he does.

Amazing instructor with a great sense of humor! Even though I already had a passion for science, he made even the dullest details fun with funny mnemonics, drawings, and stories. If I could only pick one instructor for all my classes, I would definitely pick David C. I'll even be taking his Zoology class next semester because is so science-savvy!

Professor Cunnington is a great guy, he loves his job and that is important. I enjoyed is class and found everything interesting, though I still struggled. Exams were about 80 questions in like 50 min. it never seemed like enough time. So for lecture it was a bit difficult. Now for his lab... GREAT GREAT GREAT! You will learn lots.

This guy REALLY has a way of getting the info in your head!So glad I took the class from him! I fully believe he could take this stand-up routine on the road! BUT pleeze don't...we need more teachers like David

Professor Cunnington made things that I didn't understand easy to do. I now teach science in a middle school, something I never had plans to do, and I love it. He was a huge part of that and has even helped me along the way.

Such a good teacher I used an outdated textbook, which I never had to open. Does an amazing job making sure every student does as well as they want to do.

Lots of material, somewhat hard class but excellent teacher!! Always, always there to help!!

You really have to use your brain and really grasp the concepts in order to do well here. David will go the extra mile in assisting you towards this goal if he sees that you want to learn. Class involves true learning, not simple regurgitation. GREAT teacher.

David is truly an incredible instructor. He has a way of making a subject that is NOT my interest (Biology) and he has the wit to make it fun! His Exams are quite difficult! He really wants you to know the material. As he often says, "You need to get your money's worth for a great education!" I would highly recommend him as a great instructor.

Honestly, one of the best teachers I've ever met. It's not hype; he's the real deal. He's like a super awesome, funny, smarty-pants uncle or something. He cares about his students, loves his job, and works his tail off to make sure you have all the tools yo need to succeed. I can't say enough. EXCELLENT teacher.

It was a diffiult class, but he's a really good teacher.

You NEED to study your butt off for this class! I found it extremely challenging although I put a lot of time into the material and studying for the quizzes and exams! I have been able to maintain a 3.9 GPA until this class. This is my first C in my college career! He is a great instructor but to me, for Bio 100, it was excessive how hard it was!

WONDERFUL teacher. I hate Biology, and he did an amazing job making me learn. I got a solid B and truly earned it. He doesn't give away grade, you earn them. Definitely recommend him.

David is not the easiest professor at NIC but he is extremely fair. He doesn't just give grades you do have to put the effort in but it feels good knowing that you earned that grade. I am totally not a Science person but he did make the class fun and interesting

David is an amazing teacher that absolutely loves what he teaches and loves interacting with his students. He is very clever with his examples of his family and life stories to relate the subject of what we are talking about. He makes you want to keep coming to class everyday just to hear his stories.

Until this class, I thought I was good at science. Really challenging class. Lots of information and extremely difficult tests. You work really hard for a C in his class. He is a good teacher though. Explains things fairly well and is a nice guy.

David is, by far, the best professor that I have ever had. Before I took his class I really wasn't too excited about Biology and now, because of his obvious enthusiasm while teaching and my own new-found fascination with Microbiology, it is my major. If you ever have an opportunity to take his class, I strongly suggest that you do!

David is an outstanding instructor; hands down, my favorite. He's clear on what he wants you to know, often telling you what will specifically be on weekly quizzes, as well as tests. I suggest taking him for lab, because he makes the class enjoyable and you learn so much. Not a difficult class if you SHOW UP & learn to study smarter not harder! -M

David is an extremely fun and entertaining teacher. Class is not easy, no credit for attendance and if you miss 2 quizzes, you will fail. If you can remember bio terms and what the meanings are, as well as location of parts in pig dissection you should have no problem with this class. I was not so lucky, but still loved the lectures.

David is AMAZING! He's a hilarious man that makes biology interesting even if that's not your major. The class isn't extremely hard, just make sure you use flashcards! No joke that's how you pass the class. I didn't have him for lab, so I can't tell you how he is in there. But his lectures are the best! Probably the best professor at NIC by far!

I took Biology with David and he gave clear lectures that were recorded online so you could re-watch them if needed which was really helpful. He's a very animated teacher and obviously knows a lot about the subject. Tests weren't easy, but study if you study the material hard you'll do well.

David is an amazing professor, his love for biology is contagious and inspiring. Although I was completely dreading taking Biology David made it very interesting and engaging. What a hilarious professor, Id like to buy him a beer one day. He is very supportive and cares about his student, I wouldn't take BIO 100 from anyone else.

This class had nothing to do with my major, I was just taking it for the science credit, but honestly throughout the entire class I thought about switching majors. The class was so interesting and spot on. I love that he literally never wastes a single minute of class. He helped me early in the morning with pig dissection which saved my grade

Very fun, energetic teacher. Really likes to get to know you. As long as you study for the weekly quizzes and the tests you'll do fine. Really wish I could have him as teacher again. He made biology fun, especially in lab.

He does a really good job of breaking down the information into digestible nuggets.

he seems nice when lecturing, but not when you go to is office. only the exams/and Friday tests are in the grade book. bio lab isn't hard, just got to show up. you don't have to go to class because he records his lectures, but you do retain more wen you go. gives you an outline of the notes, so pint/ or get them on your lap top.

Super great at explaining difficult subjects and makes lectures fun

Great instructor! Was very helpful in clearing up any confusion I had especially during lab. His lectures are all just copying down what is on the board, but he does give you an outline so you don't have to write everything down. Listen to his study methods because they will help (tip: use flashcards when studying).

David is amazing. He is my favorite professor by far. He is so passionate about biology that his excitement is contagious. He knows his stuff so he makes it really easy to understand and he's super funny and easy going so his class is very enjoyable. Lots to learn! You HAVE to study for exams but if you use notecards and his advice, you're golden.

1st off BIo isnt my thing, Dave is awesome he's clear, goes at a balanced pace & he engages u into the lecture even if you are an online student. Taking his class right now, highly recommend him, I wish more teachers were like him. I appreciate his honesty, & humility to share he struggled in college & he really wants to help you succeed.

Hes the funniest, sweetest proffessor ever. There is basically no homework but there are quizzes and tests and they are TOUGH. You have to study. Take him for lab they are fun and he is a fantastic teacher I loved listening to him lecture

David is so, SO funny!! Even though I found the material extensive and difficult, just hearing his lectures were worth it. He somehow makes biology super funny! He was a drama major before he switched to biology, and it shows! The class was A LOT of work in my opinion and I had to study like crazy for the tests. I still learned so much.

One of the best professor's I've ever had. David is very kind, and helpful. He makes biology interesting, and his lectures are engaging. This course is definitely challenging, and you must put in a lot of effort to get a good grade. Also, don't waste your money on the textbook, I never once opened it this semester, so save your money!

I absolutely loved this class, I came in skeptical and walked away with more than I anticipated. He is transparent and genuinely wants students to do well, he gives you the appropriate tools and skills to continue to advance in class. He makes lectures and labs fun and interesting. It is challenging, but worth the effort. Text book not necessary.

Super Great teacher! Loved being in his class, especially lab. Learned so much and even though he broke his arm in the middle of the semester he still did the labs with us and showed us what to do!

I thought this class was going to be challenging when I first got into it. I was right! It's not terribly difficult, I had just forgotten a lot of stuff from my high school days. David honestly cares about everyone passing, and he gives great study tips, but it's up to you to get the grade you want. He doesn't hand out easy A's!

Great instructor, approachable, accessible, kind, entertaining lectures to keep you engaged, respected and respectful, tough tests with trick questions, encourages you to do well and keep trying. Quiz every Friday and grades are straight forward.

David is a funny man. Cracks jokes all the time. The class itself is only graded off of quizzes and exams so study! Willing to help but go in early in the semester. Labs are easy and hands on. Exams are what make or break, and final he will give you the points you need in order to pass, so make sure to review.

David was a great teacher I learned a lot you do have to work hard for your grade. His tests are hard definitely need to study big time what helped me is go talk to him during office hours dont email he will help you with lots of tips to pass his class and how to do well.

seemed to be the choice for lecture instructor but a very great lecturer. take notes on what he says you'll be tested on. Definitely take detailed notes and study and youll be fine. tests are the star here. make sure you know what each vocab word is, where it is located, and what it does.

I took Prof. Cunnington for my Biology 100 lectures, and he was awesome! He makes the lectures interesting, doesn't give you an information overload when possible, and he makes lectures funny. I would highly recommend him - he wants you to succeed and will help you if you ask. If you need a science course, do yourself a favor and take his class!

Sets the expectations high but also gives you every bit of information needed to succeed. Definitely have to study so not the easiest class, but sets up skeleton notes so you know EXACTLY what it is you have to study for. Lets you drop one test score, so final is "optional". Work hard and youll succeed. Also funny and handsome hehe

David is my favorite Professor! His dad jokes are on point! He is seriously funny and he is not your typical professor, he's humble and down to earth. You have to devote a lot of time in your week to this class, especially if you take it online, you have to listen to 3 lectures a week and take notes and attend a lab. Take your lab with David,so fun

David is by far my favorite professor at NIC. You have no homework, just take notes in class to pass the 4 exams. You do have weekly quizzes but all of the answers are in your notes. Didn't even have to study that much

If there is any better science teacher on campus then I have yet to meet them. Mr. Cunnington is exciting, passionate, intelligent, and kind.
