HE's a fantastic professor, an outstanding PTK advisor, and he's beyond cool professor! Moreover, he drives all the way from Boca to Miami just to get to his job and still loves his job! If someone actually enjoys his job, then that is Dr. Demko or rather, Dr.DamnCool!

Demko is a very straight forward teacher, very intresting as a teacher and person,. always always in an extremely good upbeat mood. His work is straight to the point as well as his lectures

Oh my God, Mr. Demko is very good teacher, helpful as well. Always come to class with a good sense of humor. he is funniest prof at MDC. don't even worry about his test. the test is only open discussion. Easy AAAAAAAA, don't even look for another teacher for this class. I recommend this teacher to anyone who needs to take syg2000.

This guy is an incredible professor. One of those instructors that inspires you in a subject you don't care anything about. His classes are never boring and he is very fair with grading and policies. everything he assign is10pts,hw dont even have to read ch,3quest max,asking for opinion,even class discussion 10pts,u dont even have to participate just come to class the day before each quiz,u get a free A,no needs for notes he tells u whats on the quiz u study that only,no mdterm,or final straight quizes.i pass with 99pts out of100&i hate 2study

He truly wants every student to pass!We didn't use a textbook-he assigned reading assignments online.10 tests and if you have the grade you want, you can stop going to class and you don't have to take the final.If you don't have the grade you want,you can take one more quiz and the final to boost your grade.Everyone should get an A!

He's a really great professor and is very helpful. We don't even use a textbook. If you dont pass then you didn't show up for class and he gives a lot of chances to make up at the end of the semester if you're behind. Overall he's awesome!!!!!

Freakin amazing. Usually I wait until class is over to rate but there is no need. This guy is terrific. I am taking him for the 6 week course and it is no regret. Very knowledgeable, but very laid back. No favorites, treats everyone the same. He is loud to grab everyones attention. This is the first teacher that everything he says I actually listen

Took him for the summer of 08. Super easy. Only had one assignment and one extra credit quiz and that its-and that was for 6 weeks. Super easy, but you actually learn stuff. The only thing I wished was that he would test his students more arduously to see if we are really learning from him. But overall great. Highly recommended!=)

David Demko is the best prof ever. He is intelligent, really helpful, and most of all he is HOT. Easy class. You will learn a lot from him. He is one of the greatest. I just love him. 100% RECOMMANDATION.

You won't go wrong w/ Dr. Demko. He so cool & fair. His teaching method is different (which works) as he raises his voice to grab attention (not in a bad way). He is a great lecturer. The reading assignements r super easy. You get credit for attending class. We saw a movie & had pizza on one occasion (how cool is that). Need I say more? Take him.

Great professor. After a brutal two semesters in nursing school I took him and wow, it was so awesome. Class discussions are very interesting. You will not regret taking this professor. It has been one of my best learning experiences, would take other classes with him if I could :)

Mr. Demko really knows how to give a great class. He is so passionate about the subject of Sociology. Students were pouring in just to have a seat his class. I recommend you come on time and take notes. Textbook use is not that big. Overall, he has a great personality and gets along with just about every student. Really enjoyed having him.

AWESOME. Very respectful and interesting. Attendance mandatory as it brings down grade if you do not. No exams but you must turn in your work. Group discussions are part of your grade. I would take him again in a heartbeat.

This professor used to work for the government, & I have three words. GLAD HE'S NOT! As a professor, he is amazing, very clear what he expects from his students, a personality so big that will keep you laughing & interested in the subject & class. He is great. He will go Luis BLack on you at first to catch your attention. Very funny. Says insightful stuff, very relaxed class. I would have liked a challenge in class, but if you get one on one he is a good conversationalist again very funny

Dr.Demko, look at these ratings! He's a good professor. I had him for two classes, one of them honors. Very easy to understand and very straight to the point. He'll listen to students but he's also pretty eccentric. He's definitely a very particular individual. He's incredibly optimistic and will praise his students to encourage them.

There is no greater SYG2000 professor or friend you will find that Dr.Demko. No only does he help with motivating you but he makes sure that you learn more than he intended to teach and gain. Best professor I've ever had in my entire life!!!

Let's just say that if he taught math, and you hated math, you would no longer have a burning hate for numbers accompanied by symbols. Dr.Demko is fun and full of energy when it comes to teaching and sharing his experiences! Perfect professor for any subject.

He gets very excited when teaching. You don't really NEED to attend class and Demko is very understanding. You can retake tests at the end of the semester and he's beyond friendly. He barely took attendance this semester. I'd recommend taking his class.

LOVE HIM! Took three semesters ago. Awesome. Book is not really necessary if you can borrow it. Attendance was mandatory then as he gives credit for perfect attendance. Wished he taught other classes like Math, he would be awesome.

I am so proud to have Dave for my SYG2000.If there are two knowledgeable teachers he is one of them but if there is one I am positive he is the only one . He works with you and make sure you understand the material , as a matter of fact he doesn't want you to drop out school like other teachers do. He is a counselor too.Thanks Dave

absolutely THE BEST teacher at MDC! I loved him! Easy class, you use the book (for tests) he tells u exactly what to study for the tests. if u fail one he lets u redo it at the end of the semester. I took Prof Demko this spring semester and he was AMAZING!! kept the class interesting only use the book for some of the assignments,read the chapters so you can stay ontop of everything for the class discussions.. love prof Demko take him,very easy A especially if you want a GPA boost

I absolutely loved Dr. Demkos class the easiest class i have taken in college. Got an A in his class. Doesn't give any take home assignments. Great captivating lectures which make you not want to miss the class. You have to be absolutely insane not to pass his class. He gets my seal of approval.

Demko made me love sociology to the point I changed my major, he has such a love and passion for it. He makes you question things you would never think of before. I would take his class a billion times if I could.

Easiest class EVER! You must take this man. You will feel enlightened by his abundance of energy! He lives for sociology, and you won't mind coming to class. You need the textbook for 1 or 2 readings, but then never use it again. His tests are incredibly easy and based off of his teachings on the board. Take him!

10 tests/10 points each throughout the semester. No final! If he notices that you participate in class and raise your hand sometimes then you will be exempt from these tests. Very passionate about his subject and it shows! Don't let the 10 tests fool you because they are SUPER EASY! TAKE HIM NOW!
