I did really bad in chemistry in high school so i was really scared to take it in college, but he made it so easy to understand. Hes very good, and his tests are multiple choice; he makes you sure you are very prepared for the tests.

He is a very good teacher and his tests are based on the reviews with no surprises. if you are bad at math or science the class will be challenging, but doable, just hope you get a good lab instructor since lab is 25% of the grade (lab is usually the easy part but i had a bad lab tracher and just barly got an A in the course because of it)

This is my second try at Chem 1406 and I am so glad that I had Dr. Dollar. He was very clear and understanding. Taught on my level and not above my head! I highly recommend him. If you just do your reviews you will do fine. His test are really easy when you put effort into them!

he is a good teacher, but class is very hard..thrs onlly one extra credit project which is worth 50 points for the whole semester. he also gives homework every four chap..you have to study alot. his tests are multiple close if u study hard yu will do good and if you miss a test. he will let you make that up on the final day.

Most thorough online class I have ever taken. 55% of the grade is tests. Every week requires long discussion board post(not fun) and online homework(easy). He does his own powerpoint presentations and puts out good reviews for all the tests. Last two tests were online. First three were on campus. Best online teacher i've ever had, but not easy.

How you do is up to you. It's super easy to make an A in his class, just show up and do the online homework. No need to buy the book, he explains everything you need to know in class. There's no possible way NOT to make a 100 in lab, since if you mess up, he sends you to redo it. Take him, he's great.

He went over material very fast speed. This teacher isn't for slow learners. Homework was done all online 4 major exams and a final no quiz were given to us. He gave us a lot of hand outs to help us practice what we learned. You wont be able to miss a class because so much is leaned in one day. Overall a good teacher easy to approach for questions.

If you have taken A P chemistry in High school I recommend Professor Dollor. If you have no chemistry you need to be 5 chapter in front f his lecture schedule if you want an A. No quizes or pop test. He expects you to have read and understood the matreial in the chapters with any questions you might have he will answer in lecture. READ the Book!

Excellent teacher. His reviews are identical to the test. No trick questions. You don't even need the book as long as you take notes in class. He is very clear in explaining the material and addresses any questions you may have. He also passes out worksheet in class to make sure you understand the material. I highly recommend him.

PLEASE TAKE THIS TEACHER. I never took Chemistry so I had not a clue when I started. Never in my life have I been so grateful for a teacher. Dr. Dollar is an amazing professor. Everything you need to know for his tests are on his PowerPoints. After he has covered everything for the exam he spends about a day or two reviewing. The tests are exactly the same format as his test reviews. You have 4 tests and a final for lecture. I also took him for lab and it was really easy.

I started Dr. Dollars class terrified of chemistry. I left his class loving chemistry. My father has a masters in chemistry and tried to teach me many times over again. None of it made since till I took Dr. Dollars class. He makes the subject easy to understand. I would take him again. He gives lots of works sheets and extra study material.

Dr. Dollar can be very intimidating at first, but lightens up as the semester moves forward. He gives a very clear review over what is on his exams so there arent any surprises. He offers a lot of study tools and practice so there is no reason students should fail this course.

This is the best class have ever attended. I took him for spring. He gives you a lot of time to revise for the exams and lots of revision questions. Dr. David Dollar is a great professor that I would 100% take again. You have to put in effort and do your work accordingly in order to pass (as expected) and sometimes he will even help you out and give extra credit. Dr David is great overall, but because BIOL 1409 is credit 4, it is like 2 classes (lecture and Lab) you have to put yourself together, and rea to succeed. He is very good in grading which give you confidence and motivate you to do well. But He use proctor recording for exam even if we still have to use our own handwriting note for the exams.

I took Professor Dollar in spring 2024. The beginning of April I lost my mother-in-law. It was a very difficult time. I got way behind on my assignments to the point of failing. Professor Dollar allowed me to complete as many missed assignments as possible. I passed with a C. He is an AMAZING instructor, very caring and understanding. TAKE HIM!
